You aren't supposed to have access to storylines as military in the first place. But if you really need to finish it this might help

1. Save and exit your game, then run it in debug mode: #╭📖faq message
2. Load your save and press F7 to open the Debug menu
3. Press 0 to open the NPC Logic / Execute menu
4. Copy and paste the following command into the Function Execute field:

db.actor:give_info_portion("operation_afterglow_ecolog")```5. Click `Execute` and try to initiate the quest dialog.

I noticed if I enter the north tunnel and run south it crashes, but if I enter the south tunnel it crashes instantly, I think when a certain NPC in that area is rendered, it loads their gun and it just crashes

To manually reinstall problematic mods do this:

3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

I had Gamma working & had been playing for about 10+ hours with no issues. But now I get this error & I can only find one post online related to the Tactical Font Mod online. I've tried reinstalling the mod & disabling the mod but when I try to load in with DX10AVX or 11AVX & None AVX I get this error. If I try to use DX9 I get an unhandled exception error & the log file doesn't show me anything.

I know Im not a helper but... when I play on my steam deck I use moonlight to stream my PC to the deck and then just use a wireless mouse and keyboard for the controls. don't know if that would resolve it rather than messing with linux.

Glock-19 (Alternative) Silencer twisted position issue. When aiming through iron sights, silencer blocks aim. UDATE: Not an issue it is a feature. The game model works exactly as a real weapon. It is a correct way this weapon works.

you're talking about reshade, not atmospherics, reshade is a separate postprocessing program which is no longer installed with gamma by default

atmospherics is a series of visual config files that basically "tweak" what the Anomaly game looks like, and that's already enabled and loaded by default when you start playing gamma

4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

1. First try to close the Gamma launcher, and run it as administrator again, click install/update and see if the error is gone.
2. If it doesn’t work, close Gamma launcher and go to GAMMA/Grok's modpack installer/resources and run git-bash.exe as administrator.
3. Copy and paste the indicated command line from the gamma launcher black window ('git config --global --add ...') to the git-bash.exe window and press enter. (picture for reference below.)

• Note: Pay attention to what you copy, if the line has spaces in-front, or is missing characters at the end, the fix will not work.

4. Now close the git-bash and run GAMMA Launcher as administrator again and click install.

I have this issue that seems like if frames are "skipping", and I can't seem to trouble shoot it. I've lowered the graphics (even though I have AMD 7800x3d coupled with RTX 3090), but it does not matter much. When there is a fight monsters it can get ugly as well at times. i've got a bit of a stupid one, just updated my gamma and the update itself is fine but every time I shoot with a weapon that has a scope i shoot 1 bullet then it takes the scope off the weapon and then same thing when i go to shoot again it puts the scope back on, i haven't changed any binds or settings, only mods i've disabled are bas and bas injector and i'm not sure where the bind for this scope removal would be, i've checked mcm bind conflicts and normal setting binds and i can't find anything

• Increase texture detail to 3/4 or 4/4, or enter texture_lod 0 in the in-game console, and then restart the game.

If the steps from above didn't work, try this fix instead:

You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #🔨base-gamma-support, this channel support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla (which basically means no extra stuff at all) and is also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #🔨modded-gamma-support.

Alright folks, I followed the instructions to the letter, the download did not actually stop (possibly because slow-ish internet speeds?) and I managed to boot the game and load into it without any trouble whatsoever. Worked!

(PS: no longer feels like I am being held at gunpoint, but I guess another type of suffering will begin soon.)

Additionally, in order to loot an outfit or a helmet from a body a certain rank value is required. The requirement is almost negligible, rank value as small as 7000 is enough to meet a rank requirement for any equipment.
