I have no idea how to move the cursor while in sniper mode while playing hoot and seek
I keep shooting myself while trying to shoot the owl
you should be able to move it just like how you move your character! If you can't then you should submit a bug report 
So I tried the new gamemode, only just one nitpick.
- The whole mode could be more fun if there was more than one owl to track, increasing the difficulty.
I love role updates, keep doing that!
Can you tell me how to submit a bug report? Last night I was in astral mode when a body was reported, and after that meeting I was stuck in astral mode for the rest of the game.

I'd like it if the private lobbies for Hoot & Seek were not locked to 5 max players in the lobby, and could still have up to 16 in the lobby.
Instead, anyone who joins after 5 if the lobby size is larger, is put to Spectate, by default. If one of the 5 players goes to Spectate mode, then another player can Ready Up.
I say this, because it would be cool to play H&S while waiting for more players, like GooseHunt, but having the lobby get interpreted as "full" if 1-2 more players join during a Hoot & Seek game, could potentially turn away players from a Classic lobby that was just waiting for more players.
Alternatively, it could simply say "Too Many Players!" if more than 4 players + Host are Ready/Unready, and requires any other players to pick Spectate to initiate, no different than when it says "Not Enough Players" for things like Taste Like Chicken when you have too few players.
This would immensely increase the game's flexibility with normal lobbies as the gamemode you play while waiting for 6+ people, to switch to Classic/Draft, and would be super appreciated if not locking the private Lobby Size due to H&S could be implemented.

Owl is a bit OP in no-mic lobbies due to Spotters not being able to communicate to the Sniper. I think giving Spotter an ability to create some sort of visual or audio feedback (something like celeb) to signal Sniper that they have found the Owl would help. A taunt ability similar to this for the Owl would be a fun addition as well. (idea inspired by other hide n seek games)

I think the amount of time needed for the egg crack screen could be lessened to the amount of time it takes for Owl to pickpocket the Sniper 4 times for endgame. I've had so many quick Owl wins from pickpocketing due to snipers finding out too slow that I've been robbin them the whole time. I'm unsure if its bc pickpocketing is too OP or that too many Snipers are new to the game, but the same can be said for Snipers who shoot owl too fast. I doubt ppl would exploit the lessened time for Hoot n Seek achievements like other modes because the prize is only silver, but some achievement hunters would be happy to get progress on those times they legitimately get a quick wins. I have restrained myself from getting those quick sniper or owl wins for ach prog tOo mANy tiMeS T0T

A lot of ppl do not like the restraints of only 5 players being in the lobby, so somehow expanding the amount of players somehow would b gr8. A couple of ppl have suggested something like multiple owls, but they would have to be debuffed in some way (such as having same cd for abilities n pickpocketing debuffed). Vrail's idea was gud, but instead of spectating, extra players could also be some sort of owl supporter role like extra NPCs
- I'm unsure if the NPC movement is supposed to be somewhat identifiable to help the Hunters, but there are some things I have noticed that give them away. I think the current NPCs are gud in a balanced way bc without these traits it would be hard to catch owl, but if you wish to make them more player-like to make it harder for Hunters the identifiable traits r listed below:
-NPCs cannot go up/down n left/right in a straight line. They tend to do some left and right dance in a very bot-like manner when going up or down which is too hard to replicate as an Owl. This trait gives owl away the most bc players usually don't dance in a bot-like manner when going up or down.
-NPCs do not bump into walls and get stuck like players do. Instead, they walk in a very calculated manner to not bump into walls or just go straight thro them (unsure if it is a bug or not)

even being one of mine least favorite goose invetigative roles, astral is a pretty solid role, it doesn't have hard counters, but its problem is that there are better roles that do what astral do but better, some examples of better roles:
eginner - eginner overall is a role to get ducks who sabotage, but you can also stay in vents, armors, lockers to try to find the duck, the reason why i think eginner is better is becase he can easily comfirm itself as not being a duck that can enter in vents, and when he sees a murder happen he will know who killed, enginner also can hear players from the vent, you will lose time of tasks while in vents/armors
stalker - stalker is a role to more innocent than accusating, the meta of stalker is to track a suspicius player to prevent that player from killing and punishing if it does, but majority of the time you are more usefull for innoing someone from a kill, stalker is a pretty easy role to confirm itself, the problem is that stalker takes a long time to confirm itself, when the stalker sees that the target player died, its expected to he to be around the player to get quickly to the body and hopely find the killer, the problem is that you will apear suspicius if aren't carefull enogh, and will probably lose a lot of tasks that you could have done
mortician - mortician is a role that its use is to confirm itself or the sheriff/vigilante, the use of motician is to prove that he isn't a duck by saying the roles of the dead, as a duck would have to get super lucky to guess the dead roles and not have any counter claim, its also usefull for confirming the sheriff and vigilante when they shoot a non-goose
detective - detective is a great counter against a lot of long distance killing roles, the use of detective when killers aren't killing on his face is to inno players of the kill
bird watcher - bird watcher is a camping role, they stay at a place to see kills happen, the problem is that you are very vunerable while in whathing others, and you lose a lot of tasks that you could be doing
and now we have astral - astral has mojority of the past roles pros, but he has mojority of the past roles problem, he meta, on mine opnion, is to follow a player and see what happen to they, if they vent, turn invisible, die, etc, the problem is that you won't know who killed your target, it can't confirm itself easily as stalker would do, it can't do tasks while in ghost form, its super vunerable while in ghost form, and will be found suspicius if it stays for too long in the ghost form. Astral is a good role, but it not as great as other invetigative roles, its way better than beforme the rework. Its somewhere on C+ tierlist
out of curiosity, how exactly are you confirming that the engineer can't kill?

its not innoing 100% enginner. But some of the ducks, falcon and pelican can't enter in vets, if someone says you the invisible, silencer, etc, you can enter in a vent/armor to confirm yourself. I see this happen in some games, especially draft, where you know the ducks in game

I have a serious problem with the microphone and speakers.
Frequency of individual voice interruptions, intermittent lag
Mostly using training
Most of the rooms are played
Communication about what happens during voting time is essential.
Due to persistent speaker and microphone bug issues
Situations where communication problems arise continue to occur.
This is a problem that only occurs on Korean servers.
Is the development team not aware of it?
Even though communication is the most important game,
The bug that blocks communication is not short-lived.
Staying in the game for a long time
It's hard to understand.
If this situation persists every time there is a patch,
I think I can't help but feel stressed about playing the game itself.
- Microphone and speaker problems for each player
- Players bounce when moving around the map
- Dimension traveler, duel dodo bird bug
- Voice continues to cut off or cannot be heard even after microphone amplification and sensitivity settings
*Please roll back the number of ducks and neutrals according to the number of people.
I don't know why they changed the number of neutral classes to 4 only when the number of people is 15 or 16.
Please check and resolve these issues.

Feedback: Cupid, Drone, Ninja
I think it would be cool to have these roles available on more of the current maps, to allow them to be played more widely than they currently are.
I've thought about some ways they could be implemented, without it being unbalanced:
-
Cupid: The main response I've heard is balancing the Cupid's effect around the Cleansing Pod. So, for other maps, doing 5(?) tasks collectively between the two paired people (counts tasks done by both players) will unpair them.
(This number can be adjusted to whatever works best. Five sounded appropriate - it's sometimes hard to link two people together in the first place, as the Slap is easy and meetings interrupt pairing) -
__ Drone:__ Aside from deciding whether or not they're allowed to vent (probably not: Morphling cannot) I don't see a big issue with making them normal speed across the board in other maps. Confirming who else saw each other makes it surprisingly easy to deduce which one the Drone was, and I think the Drone is actually a weaker duck role overall.

Ninja: On maps where there is no Fog, doing Fake tasks gives a bonus to the cooldown of the skill.
Alternatively! Have hiding spots and vents have the same "quicker cooldown" effect that the Fog does. Simple really.

I hope that these sound reasonable and perhaps one day those roles can me introduced to the other maps they aren't a part of, like Falcon and Pelican were!
I don't think ninja will have a buff like that since ,welp u know ,ninja is ridiculous strong ,if hiding in 1 spot also decrease the kill cooldown then ninja will have a fire camp gameplay ,which is really unfair

My opinion, on hoot and seek
In my opinion, the game mode is really fun itās a lot more different than Goose Goose Duck and still has that social deduction aspect, making it fun
Issues with the game mode
The owl gets a red dot when the sniper misfires a lot of people donāt know this, but I do so one slip up = owl getting an advantage.
Another issue is that a lot of snipers like to randomly shoot and if itās a teammate, itās even worse like theyāre pointing a sniper rifle at me tell them to not shoot me that itās me and they still shoot me sniper should get a penalty even bigger than the classic one so normally they would get like one task done when they misfire someone if they misfire on a teammate, they should probably get two tasks done and Nerf the pickpocket feature so that he doesnāt give the owl a bunch of tasks
that is intentional. we put that into the game

I do think Hoot and Seek came just shy of hitting TRUE greatness, and I can explain why:
When the card game came out for the lounge a perfect use of it was something I could do with friends during the time our lobby was building, and then in text you could announce to the lounge lobby, WHEELS UP we're leaving for the real game!
Hoot and Seek, 2-5 players - a PERFECT second shot here that is not able to be utilized as more than just another game mode like Taste like Chicken, but my proposed tweak.... ALLOW the host to maintain control of lobby size.... and set it up to 16 still... If you are on TLC and lose a player down to 7 the mode would change or just gray the start button right? if we get MORE than 5 same can apply here allowing, Spectate join/join during game and then using it as a vehicle to build a bigger lobby but not just sit there and well fart all day while doing so?
-possible roadblock I see, is spectate on Hoot and Seek being used for nefarious purposes but.... there is a spectate option in the game already with 2-4 and one player can use spectate already...
This would add utility to the mode, with minimal recoding needed and encourage more use of the mode, as well as still allowing the host to simply set 5 max and stay in a lobby FOR that mode. - no negative change

Is there a way to ensure that all of the announcements posted on the announcement thread actually get posted to other discord servers (if they are set up for it) or to at least give a notification on the announcements thread? I have missed the majority of the last two token events because the announcements never posted to my other discord server and because I didn't receive a notification about the event even though it got posted here. Not sure if this issue has been going longer than that, but it definitely did not post for the last two token events, while other announcements have posted

There's a bug when you join other lobbies setting echo cancellation auto enables and after that mic is not working anymore until you disable it.

Is it possible (on mobile) in hoot & seek that the snoop and snipe button be on the right side of the screen instead of the left next to the joytstick. Its kinds hard to have to stop completely just to press the button

We created a room and there's often ppl selling cheats joined in and spamed the chat, but they often left before we could report and kick 'em, I screenshot the whole chat, is there another way to report them

Pigeon reset happens after the meeting ends and players load back into the map
It is possible (though rare) for Pigeon to win during a meeting.

I get why itās in classic, but why draft? I mean in classic if thereās not enough roles there should obviously has to be a few geese and ducks in there but in draft thatās not a problem, so just remove it

Issues are resolved as quickly as possible, but the team can only address issues that have been reported through the proper processes 
What's happening if you have Bluetooth headset and try to play goose goose duck?
The "sounds" volume slider in the main menu settings honking when you adjust it is a cute touch and a nice way to check the volume of it.
Would love there to be sounds for the other four, maybe (idk if that would get annoying or not).
Also: the honking noise doesn't play while in a lobby. Not sure if that's a bug or not.
Not A bug, while people are adjusting volume in game we want you to use the in game sounds to balance your audio and not muddy it with honking.

Feedback: Cupid Duck.
Firstly, it would be cool to have this duck in other maps. It's already difficult to pair people together, I don't think needing the cleansing pod is necessary.
As for the feedback portion:
Cupid Duck, after watching some other gameplay of others playing Cupid (I've almost never gotten it) it seems abnormally difficult to link people. Calling bell or bodies resets any pairing, so you can just call bell if the timer starts ticking. Calling bell or bodies resets the one you've tagged if you haven't tagged a second one yet.
The cooldown for tagging someone is also 20 or so seconds long, and they have to stay alive after you've tagged them for it to even matter for the second person you tag.
You already get suspicious, due to the Touch-nature like Demo, so even though you're away from one person, and there's a 5 second delay for the other you'll be near, any half-smart lobby quickly narrows it down, similar to a Drone walking into a room of too many people. It's already difficult enough to use the ability and not get suspicion.
I don't think the first pairing should reset between rounds, or at the very least, if you start a countdown pairing on two people, calling bell/body shouldn't remove it, similar to Demo.
Otherwise I think the role pretty much ends up being a default duck most of the time, especially on a map like Eagleton with no emergency sabotages, unpredictable lights you can't rely on, and no way to hide what you're doing.
Edit: it's also further narrowed down similar to Drone because you can't ever be paired with anyone else, so unless you and your duck partner lie about that (which is very risky if either of you are outed) you never end up being someone that gets linked. Anyone else who is paired can be instantly cleared of not being a duck. This rapidly narrows down the suspect list.
Not entirely true. I once was pelican and was slapped before a bell was called and had 6 seconds left to slap my potential link which was the Canadian. After the meeting, I still had 6 seconds to find them but we ended up linked bc Eagleton is huge. However, I was still able to eat as pelican until the Canadian died and auto reported ( previously been told once linked, you lose your previous ability and become just lover geeseā)

Yeah you don't lose your ability when you become linked. I was unaware the timer remains after a meeting, that is good to know, thank you. That makes it a lot better - I must've misunderstood one particular round I was privy to regarding that.
the best thing to do is to say the place in the map that you and the linked person will find eachoader

Yeah, meetings are a very strong anti-Cupid thing tbh, especially with the fact the initial cooldown for the first tag is like 20-30 seconds

Either way I think Cupid struggles with similar issues that Drone and Demo do, their ability is realistically pretty weak comparatively, and can be really difficult to benefit from - it more often directs suspicion at you rather than provides benefit. Which is okay, sorta, with the hypothetical concept being particularly strong, but overall I think it ends up being on average pretty weak and close to a default duck, most of the time, which is unfortunate and kinda disappointing
And unlike drone/demo, Cupid does not get to see the results of their efforts nearly as much

sometimes when you first open the game the list of rooms wont refresh on PC and mobile you would have to restart the game for it to get fixed again or even multiple times

it's happened several times now where i get passed a bomb and i can't pass it to anyone even though i have passed multiple people already :/
Are you passing the people during the pass cooldown?
yesno regardless of the amount of time i still can't pass it to anyone. i have had a time where i got a 15 sec bomb but i still died without passing it.
Could it have been lag? Maybe you or the person you were trying to pass to had poor connection?
it wasn't laggy for me. and this has happened in a few lobbies already so idk if it was poor connection on the people i was trying to pass it to.
Feedback: Warlock Rework.
Warlock is seen as one of the more boring and less interesting ducks to play, as their ability does not work for high majority of the time.
I also haven't seen people really get much mileage out of the ability, even if killing wasn't the purpose.
My idea of a rework perhaps, is to make it so Warlocks can still access the normal sabotages.
Have the Locusts sabotage affect all buildings they could have chosen from previously. (The doors sabotage doesn't last long enough to kill someone even if you call locusts then doors anyway)
This makes the Locusts sabotage force everyone out of all buildings for a short while, which I think is uniquely different from the single-building + no other sabotages that Warlock is currently.
I don't think this would be overpowered, and would give a new spin on Warlock honestly.
And if doors + locusts is the concern of being too strong to be used by one player? Just extend the timer on locusts slightly, making it take slightly longer to kill. Transform it into a "force players out of buildings to not die" instead of a bad kill mechanic that doesn't work, and doesn't do much mechanically for making people leave a single building for a short period of time.
And being forced to coordinate sabotages with your other duck partners for Fire, Mummy, or Doors, just isn't too great in practice honestly.

Hello, guys. I told this before, but im not sure what is your decision.
Its nearly impossible to get any gold through playing the game. I have like 330 hours already as well as many of my viewers, for all that time all gold i had is 36, 15 of which i wasted on one head cosmetics. From that moment i didn't get a single coin and to get any doesn't seem possible. I didn't even get all the cosmetics from first gambling machine for white starcoins.
Also in-game achievements are a way too overtuned. Like winning 750 games with each role. To have all the achievement will take you entire life. Please, tune them down.
There are also some gameplay problems. Main problem which we faced during streams: people got to know what roles each player prefer to take and how they act as them. This is a big problem in Draft mode. Could you, please, make a check in draft mode, so that all players could choose their role normally for draft, but for others these roles were unknown always?
Also i would like to suggest to make additional missions on maps, which could allow killers to kill and hide body, or killing without killer being nearby. There is problem when one of killers gets knocked out early, and only one left, that makes game almost impossible to win for killer side. Killers can't kill safely anymore and have to stop doing it, which results in long boring games.
I have many ideas for the game, but i don't see any reason to share them if no actions will be taken. If you think you could take some or all of them into account, please, let me know, but i don't want to waste time if there is nothing will change no matter what.

Achievements are good long-term milestones (also its 75wins/role not 750), if they were too easy then they wouldn't be much of an achievement. Feedback is always appreciated.
Draft mode is designed to create a "standard" playmode when you join a draft game, you know what you're getting into.
Classic mode is always available for a customized experience
Allowing more players to kill or hide body remotely takes away from the social deduction aspect. They have sabotages and abilities to separate groups of people to plan their kills. If Ducks are getting caught easily, they might have to adjust playstyle or strategy to avoid that
We actively listen to the community and their feedback and suggestions, not many games do that or offer a way to have your voice heard directly by the team behind them. However, at the end of the day the decisions made are made in the best interest of the game and the players.
Also I'm pretty sure it's 75 wins for each role, not 750.
Reminds me of how one person I keep ending up playing with knows I really like pelican and will instantly assume it is me when pelican gets instantly picked the moment it is someone's turn to do so. By waiting about 10 seconds before picking I was able to evade any and all suspicion by this person until it was too late.

when i am in spirit mode as astral, then a meeting is called either by a body report or by bell, i stay stuck in spirit mode in the next round. i have to wait 10 seconds to use my ability again to go back to my body. is this intended or not?
Chris, this is not an answer to the problem which i described. People want to be able to choose role out of 3, instead of getting one random, to avoid, as you described in-game "to get roles you don't like", but still want to have this anonymity with question mark. Otherwise, as Shrike told as well, people will get who is who by simply how you breath, how you talk, simply because some people love to play killers and neutrals more often than goose roles, while others don't play killers at all. This situation results in no deduction, but simply to insta kills of killers by sheriff or other goose roles with a knife.
They don't always have access to sabotages that kill people. Sometimes there is 5 sabotages and you can get only 4, killing one is not available. Also you say your sabotages separate groups, but here is main problem: people tend to go grouped instead of separating, when sabotage activates. Its nearly impossible most of the time to kill anyone exactly because of sabotage. Simply adding a role like pigeon doesn't solve this problem because he is not taken in game every time and you can't regulate that.
Also your sabotages on maps like cellar or alike, where you can kill someone and hide his body in river or burn it, simply never working because people DON'T GO THERE, because they already know about that. Nothing forcing them to be there, and if you have a quest there, they just ignore it or go there with 100% goose player.
I have murdered plenty of geese at the furnace/river because there are tasks at those locations people do.
I did reply to your original concern, lots of your suggestions are asking for a tailored experience for your specific group of people. They have been noted, feedback is always noted. I also explained why the system is currently laid out as it is.
Sabotages do not need to kill people, they can limit visibility (light/fog), they can cause distraction (demons, mummy, etc) there are tools, but like all tools comes down to how you use them. If you use them poorly or you are playing with a well experienced group, they will be able to deduce the ducks.
If your group does not enjoy a particular role, you can disable it in classic mode
There are customize options and options available to you to create the experience you and your group enjoys.
As i told, people will just ignore them.
Streamers tend to play in groups, also your game is definetaly made to play with friends, since you builded in friendlist. And friends prefer to play with each other rather than playing with shouting people, aren't they?

Really happy this event still sucks the same as it did before. Token drop is still purely luck based. Doesn't matter how good you are, you can still get almost no tokens from a game. And to add salt to injury, the winner's bonus is awarded only when you do 0 tasks, not when you actually win. Really suck out the joy of playing, when there's no point in playing for longer than a minute each round.
The best way to earn tokens is by completing tasks through regular gameplay. You will need to conclude the game to earn the game rewards

The best way to earn tokens is in task race and I'm aware you have to finish the game to get rewards. What I'm saying is that there's no point in really trying to race when you only get random amount of tokens for first 8 tasks and then nothing
and you don't even get the winner's bonus when you win the race
If you could earn all 100 daily tokens in one round of task race, there wouldn't be much point of an event

I enjoy the task race, don't get me wrong. What I don't enjoy is my effort not being rewarded in any way. I don't need to get 100 tokens in one round, but I also don't enjoy getting 5 tokens each round even when I do almost 30 tasks

Should be able to earn 100 tokens in about an hour or so a day. Task races are pretty quick!

Ahhh gotcha
Just noticed that the ui for the roles section of the tutorial has been updated, providing a list of the roles as well as filters and a search bar, instead of before there you just had to scroll one at a time. It even lists the maps the role appears on and allows you to search roles by map. The fact that something like this was revamped even though in most cases it will only be viewed once or twice makes me very happy. It's the little things that make a great and accessable game.

I love Eagleton's sabotage music. Is there any chance of older maps such as S.S Mothergoose and Blackswan getting new music too? I enjoy task racing but the repetitive beeping can get a bit annoying on those maps so it makes me want to turn down my audio or change lobbies.

Feedback: Goosechapel
Goosechapel is more laggy than all the other maps currently, and has pretty rough lag spikes for my low-end laptop at times for unknown reasons when walking around outside, compared to every other map.
The only thing that creates as much jitter lag is Ancient Sand sandstorms due to particle count.
I don't know why Goosechapel lags like that, but for optimization purposes I want to bring up that it's pretty laggy despite me being able to play all other maps (including Eagleton) just fine.
just curious if they'll be updating the claw machines? I have all the items from all of them and now have tons of tokens that are just adding up. I know it's a lot to ask but would be great if there was also a claw machine made just from suggested items

As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.

I really love how this role got changed because it removed the biggest problem it had: keeping the bomb and giving it in the last second. But now the role just doesn't feel consistent, I could be on top of someone but I can't pass the bomb at all. I am aware that it could be a problem with my connection but I am still sending this feedback in case other players have this problem. I have 2 solutions that I think would work:

Show how much time is needed before the bomb can be passed
This would make it clearer when you can pass the bomb making it less of a consistent issue that it currently is. Just a simple timer could solve the problem. -
Revert to the original role but with some tweaks
The old role had problems but they can be removed while keeping the old role's function:

Don't show how much time is left and make the timer start with a random number: This prevents the meta of keeping the bomb and giving it in the last seconds to survive and additionally it could be changed to make the bomb's timer go faster if the carrier doesn't pass the bomb when they can and/or if they have it for too long.

Make it so the bomb passage button doesn't show over going into vents (ES): This removes the meta of jumping in vents to escape from the bomb holder and an exception could be made if a player is in range.
As a player, who unlocked blue, purple and golden machines quite recently, I hope those machines will not be removed. Just add new regular machines instead of substituting them š
FEEDBACK: Serial Killer
I absolutely adore this role. Issue is, it tends to kill you, and it's frustratingly difficult.
SOLUTION 1: Simply have the Serial Killer never target the Canadian.
SOLUTION 2: If you kill 1 or 2 non-targets, perhaps your target could change? We want to avoid the cooldown draining/rising too quickly, but some targets will group, claim Canadian, or just be overall too difficult to kill. So I think you should be able to sacrifice some of your cooldown to get a new target.
Social Deduction and deception may be required. Various strategies can be used to get yourself out of some sticky situation 
Killing your target reduces cooldown, killing non-target increases your cooldown. It's always been your choice. Knowing your target could never be the Canadian would greatly reduce the risk that comes with killing.
I feel like the bigger issue is starting with an open claiming canadian as your target while there are no other ways to kill it, forcing you to play with a penalty for the whole game 
That is where "various strategies" come into place. Sabotages, claiming a goose killing role (Sheriff, vigilante) environmental kills (bus, furnaces, chandelier, mummy). "I just found them like this", "I didn't believe they were Canadian", "x killed them right infront of me". Deception 
Could even find the sheriff/vigilante and convince them to take care of them

The issue with Serial Killer is that it's really hard to balance. You need to make it risky but rewarding, and we don't want it to go spiralling out of control. Even just avoiding Canadian would remove a lot of risk, but that whole issue is frustrating to the point that it just becomes unfun
If i believed that SK was severely under powered (and i don't, for the record), i'd just make it that it didn't self report for the Canadian

Last night I spawned in with the Serial Killer and confided in them that I was Canadian. Because of that they had to actively kill non-targets and ended the game with a 40 second cooldown
I feel as though even that randomizer button might be too powerful because that could allow the role to spiral. I think you should have to sacrifice a few seconds

It'd be great if I could disable touch controls while I have a controller connected
im seeing people in level 200+ cheating flying around they probably did it for a long time without getting banned how long does it take before action is taken against them?
Unfortunately, we cannot control when bad actors enter a game, but we do provide in-game tools to help moderate your lobbies. Conversations that go on in-game are still private, and we do not have access to the audio in any way. You can block or mute the relevant players in-game and use the in-game censoring filter. Public lobbies have report features that will be attached to their accounts and may result in bans. The relevant players can also be kicked from the lobbies by the host and will not be able to rejoin unless permitted to by the host. If the player in question is the host, and a sufficient number of players block their mics, they will be kicked from the game, and once again that will be reflected on their account.

I do have an issue with the demo and the bomb. I got the bomb, it started ticking a second, 1 literal second, before the meeting got called. I get out of the meeting and there's only 5 seconds left? I feel like it needs to be tweaked because it wasn't like that before and it just isn't fair in my opinion
we havent changed anything about this. the timer resets to 9 seconds i believe whenever a meeting is called , but depending on the animation and your device maybe it'll seem less
I always play on PC, got it a second before the meeting, countdown started at 5 after the meeting ended and I spawned in for the next round. That's what happened. If it were 9 seconds I wouldn't have an issue. But 5? Not fair in any sense when I JUST received the bomb

Avenger [Goose]
This role in my opinion, was one of the best that was added to the game. It made the Goose with gun claims more flexible for non-geese, thus making it easier to fake claim. The only problem I find with this role is that it's hard countered by the Pelican, of course swallowing birds isn't the same thing as murdering them, but it seems inconsistent to let the Avenger kill the Falcon but not the Pelican. The Avenger role should be buffed so it can kill the Pelican when they witness her swallow a bird. -
Spy [Duck]
A while ago this role was able to see the roles of the players they revealed in game without the need to wait for the next meeting but this was an unintended feature, a bug. And since it was fixed I found this role to be too slow. Previously you only needed one meeting to know a bird's role, as long as you found them in game. So in the worst case scenario you had to wait for the second meeting, but you were not forced to do that. But now you are forced to wait to see the bird's role which slows down decision making. The Spy's fix should be reversed or somehow changed to make this role faster that it currently is.

At present, the contradiction that exists in practical games now is that ordinary identity players lack motivation to do tasks and reward positive feedback is not enough
ā Again, the ghost player of death has no sense of existence and is useless. After the duck dies, he can help with the task;
But originally, the goose camp belongs to the stronger camp, and it is not good to increase the strength on the field through ghost players

I've been thinking, what if dead geese (max 9 in draft) can attach to any player, and if that player is a killing role or the pelican, their kill/eat/bomb cooldown will be increased. It could be increased linearly (like 1 second or 5% increase in cooldown per dead goose attached) or something else (with some formula). It could help dead geese cooperate to slow down the kills of a good/lucky duck or pelican. And the increase is not that high (at most 9 seconds), so I think it's fair.
Or more simply, have dead geese still be able to contribute to the task pool, but at a reduced rate. For example, two tasks done by a dead goose is equivalent to one task for a living goose. This exchange is because dead geese can just focus on tasks, meanwhile living geese have to keep track of a lot of other things.
Tbh, because of how high the task bar quota is in draft, once a few geese have been killed off, ducks can have a lot of time to just have the perfect kill. The time pressure to kill is barely there (if even at all) in draft. Of course I could just play classic, but draft lobbies outnumber classic by quite a margin (or at least that's how it seems to me). Besides, I do love being able to pick the role that I want.

I agree with you, it feels pointless to do tasks since it feels like you do barely any progress even if a lot of geese are doing tasks at the same time. Sure it's quite disappointing when a task win happens but there should be the risk of it happening at all times instead of depending on roles (Like the Pigeon) to end the game.

Feedback: QOL Update: Spy.
The Spy, in order to learn someone's role, has to successfully be the only one to vote for someone, which requires a meeting.
Then, after that meeting, there has to be a second meeting for the Spy to even learn this info and use it.
This is extremely slow, and requires 2 separate meetings, the first requiring a solo vote on your target, and then a second one to see it (and depending on the role, if they're dead + claimed it, it can be made useless)
Feedback/Suggestion:
Have it so the Spy see's the role name above the player's name during the match after the meeting they successfully spy on someone.
This would give the info sooner, and make it more relevant, without buffing the Spy too much imo, and would be a really nice change.
You still have to find the player and see them, and stay alive anyway to do anything with the info in the first place, and "throwing away" your vote to get that info is risky + takes vote power away from ducks, so I feel the trade-off is worth a bit more ability to actually see this info a bit sooner.
Celebrity should show to everyone that they have died. The only form to ducks counter that is by a really lucky spy. Celebrity is brainless, just exists (or not, ducks don't know) and a goose will ask you if celebrity is dead, if yes, you got the 50/50, you need to know what round that happened, so its a 1/x, then if it was when the round started, middle or in the end, a 1/3. Every server that I play do that tihng, so "just don't play in that lobby" doesn't work. Even with that nerf it is strong, more if celeb told someone.
Celeb give alibi to a lot of gooses just by saing something when celeb has died too.
Deception and social deduction are key parts of gameplay. You may have to lie to get out of some sticky situations.
"I don't remember", "I don't know you tell me
", "I had to kill them as vigilante to see if they were telling the truth" sometimes need to play the players not the game. Try to pin the geese against each other

Itās very frustrating: assuming you wanna spectate for a reason (maybe not being able to engage at that time), but you still wanna be a part of the lobby, having to select āSpectateā after each game or being kicked for resetting to āNot readyā is a bit annoying.

Everyone's microphone sound is very low even though I have turned on the loudest speaker, how can I hear it louder? The publisher has been very low since the iOS update until now.
If everyone and everything is quiet, please check in settings that Player Volume is turned up as well as the Master Volume then adjust individual players volume accordingly.
I have had this same issue now for months. I have all individual players to 100, the output player toggle to 100, the master output to 100 and my phones system volume to 100 and still have to hold my phone up to my ear to hear properly. Iām also on iOS.
You can partially counter this by being the one to initiate such a question, or by having someone unintentionally tell you the info during a round, if you play with proximity chat. I've learned as a duck many times from hearing people gasp/react oddly during a round, or suddenly decide they need to go look for a body, and clue-in the Celebrity just died.
Is it ideal for you as a duck? No, but that's part of the Celebrity's purpose.
If it really bothers you, you could also look to make your own lobby with friends, and exclude the Celebrity role.
You can also deduce by process of elimination. Sometimes(sometimes!) via context you can figure out the roles of the dead geese (and even subtly nudge people to figure it out, to be able to piece together murders) which then slowly narrows down who's who.
Another angle is you can claim a neutral. Dodo, Pigeon, Vulture, Falcon and Pelican, all don't see Celebrity, and aside from Falcon/Pelican, the other three aren't a priority to get rid of - in fact, the ducks are usually more concerned about Vulture/Pigeon/Dodo, so if someone starts wanting you eliminated after claiming one of those roles, you can counter-pressure with claiming that's very duck-like of them - diverting the argument away from whether or not you're a duck, to someone else.

Is there anyway to modify the Draft gamemode more, such as increasing voting and discussion time (I never get enough), or turning off random spawn locations? I love Draft but it's quite limiting in what you can change.

This is already possible, on the main menu there is a button that says retro, click that and it will cycle through the old theme music and splash arts
The Victorian theme is only Bloodhaven art, I mean that Mallard Manor splash art used to be paired with Victorian, from what I've researched, and that splash art is no longer available on the main menu
Gonna be honest I completely forgot to do bug reports playing games today on the new map but I'm sure it may have been brought to your attention. Whenever in draft and picking lover roles, it either glitches to where there is only one lover present or once the game starts another goose role is assigned to those that chose lover during draft.
Other than that the new map is amazing! Love the whole theme and can't wait to see more in the futureāØ
Many Vietnamese people are finding it difficult to play the map "Carnival" because there is no Vietnamese language for this map. I mean there is, but when we open the map we don't see it and it's only in English.
This is the case for all languages at the moment. A hot patch will come out at some point in the coming days that will fix the issue
so i find it super unfair that the bomb timer keep on going, when the duck call the random person rabbit sab, cuz i robs you of the chance to hand it of to someone else

So I think the odds on the Ticket Wheel might need a tiny bit of tuning lol. Right now my group is losing more people to the wheel bombs than to actual killers. The urge to spin that is crazy high which works out super well in the ducks favor over all.

We were playing with 10. We'd consistently loose about 3+ people per game to bombs. Like I said everyone really wanted to spin the wheel. I guess you can blame a bit of bad luck for it not ever getting any of the ducks too

It would be nice if your wheel spin cancelled and you got refunded if it gets interrupted by a body getting reported or meeting called. It is a little frustrating not knowing what you landed on. Don't know if I got votes or sped up rollercoaster.
Also wish you couldn't land on effects you already have e.g getting partied or the zoomies again within the same round, landing on rollercoaster when it has already been sped up the maximum number of times by other players so it feels like you wasted your tickets.
Also would prefer if the shop token timer said x days x amount of hours remaining instead of just 195 hours so I don't have to do math lol
I wish you guys didnāt remove some of the cosmetics like the banana hammock and pink bra. I hope after these limited deals you put them back

The rabbit sabotage where a random player is chosen should be nerfed, it's really easy to obtain as a duck and is almost a guaranteed kill or win for the ducks without the risk of being caught since there's no engineer. There's a couple ways to possibly fix this to keep the sabotage and still have fun.
- Raise the ticket cost (possibly 6/8)
- Add a limit how many times a game it can be called like 2/3 (only the random player rabbit Sabo, not the normal one)
- Raise the timer for being able to call this sabotage
Just find this sabotage is killing the mood for the new map and isn't the most fair. Everything else is perfectly fine and been enjoyable but found when my friends and I play we have to ban the Sabo in our lobby with how it's been abused.
Really cool concept but feel it's executed not the best, could be better but as of right now it's too game changing

I think the problem is when ghosts can be calling the sabotge with the tickets they get with their tasks while dead. I think a good fix is not allowing ghosts to earn tickets.

My guess is what might be happening is if a duck is voted out, it doesn't remove their tickets. That's only a guess though

according to a mod, i think they are supposed to "remove their tickets", like the tickets would be removed when other roles are killed as @desert island mentioned above, but also when you are lover you are supposed to have a lover , and the beta map sometimes fails to do that, so the fact that Roles arent reseting tickets is the glitch atm

When there's 4 or fewer remaining non-ducks, I find the Rabbit sabotage is particularly powerful, especially the one that transforms one of them into a rabbit, and I think that perhaps if there's fewer players, that the timer gets extended slightly, as it can be really difficult to catch rabbits without coordinated pincer movements, especially a player-rabbit.
Alternatively, the Ticket Rabbit Sabotage perhaps should cost 4 or 5 tickets, so the "free" kill is a bit more expensive.

when the wheel with players are spinning to choose a rabbit-goose, you can identify duck player when the name of player who will become a rabbit shows on wrong player who was before choosen rabbit, means that player can't become a rabbit so they are duck role(works in pre last spin when wheel slowdowns)

After trying the change to Lobbyist, I still do prefer the Lobbyist having no cooldown, even as a duck - the act of "clearing" yourself as Lobbyist still comes at the expense of the closest player near them, which statistically isn't a duck, so it's not necessarily beneficial for the Lobbyist to do that anyway, because they can be killed by the ducks after.
The idea that Lobbyist has no kill timer and can beat-out other ducks/neutrals, at the downside that you need to charge it up first, is a fun and unique dynamic that adds an interesting angle to overall gameplay, in my opinion, and I like it.

This isn't really a matter of preference, or liking it. And it isn't a matter of it being beneficial or not, since a player can essentially hold the game hostage potentially.
On top of that, if they prove they are a Goose this way, the majority of players which are geese have no incentive to vote them out.
On top of THAT, if the nearest person isn't likely a duck, that's because that there are less ducks in the game. Meaning getting randomly shot severely shifts the balance, as well as not being behavior I want to promote in players anyways

I reported this as a bug when it happened, but I feel I should mention it here. At the Carnival, I was the Falcon and had just entered Falcon Time. During that countdown, the ducks called the rabbit sabotage and I, the Falcon, got turned into a rabbit. When the Falcon countdown ended, the geese ended up winning because I had changed teams.
As such, I feel like the ticket rabbit sabotage should either be disabled if the final three countdown has started, or it shouldn't affect the Falcon/Pelican/Survivalist.
Please make it so that the moment before game starts where you can't see who's on mic that players are muted. People are exploiting this window to blast extremely loud noise from their sound board, trolling the lobby, hurting everyone's ears, and ruining the game for everyone.

I think when the ticketed rabbit sabo goes off, the person who is turned into a rabbit should be ported to a random safe space. Lots of times they are traveling with someone and they get instasmushed with no chance
On the other hand this indirectly discourages grouping in case you're randomly rabbited, but yeah I agree it does sucks as a player.
Perhaps treat it like having a Pigeon - can't stick too close in groups or you may just get randomly squished

A high risk and high reward role, you can often get killed by ducks but you can also make them kill each other if you are close enough. I honestly considered this role to be the 4th gwg role until lobbyist was added. The only problem it has is that it can only make the ducks kill each other when there's a mimic in the game, enabling friendly fire. Gravy should let the ducks kill each other without needing a mimic in play. -
Survivalist [Goose]
Originally I was going to suggest giving this role the same passive ability from the Falcon: only letting the ducks win with critical sabotages. But I soon found out it already has it, keep up the good work Gaggle!
The only thing this role probably needs is to have this passive ability on the information, other than that this role changes the way geese play around with the ducks and falcon being alive at the same time which is a really good thing for the game.

I think Survivalist would be more balanced, interesting, and more intuitive, if they prevented Duck wins by numbers while the Survivalist is alive, the same way Falcon is, but without the ability to kill.
Right now how it works is rather lacklustre, and the fact that the countdown is meaningless if the duck kills a different goose, makes the ability to hide as the survivalist kinda irrelevant.
If the countdown timer is going and the duck shoots the other goose - the duck wins. So the survivalist can't even do their hiding aspect.
I don't believe it would be OP to be structured like how it is with Falcon, and it would make the role more interesting.

I thought the Survivalist had the Falcon's passive ability, if it doesn't then it should.
Nope. It only triggers if there's only 3 people left, no Falcon/Peli, and stops working as soon as the Ducks have the same number as the geese.
So it "can" trigger off there being 2 ducks left, but that's near irrelevant without an assassin shot + vote out, or if the Falcon/Peli is the last one killed before 2 ducks + Survivalist.
Mostly it only ever triggers on 1 duck left, and the countdown is entirely irrelevant if the duck finds the other goose - so the Survivalist can stay alive, and still lose because the other goose was found.
It also doesn't prevent 2 ducks from winning at 4 players left (minus Falcon/Peli) so you're essentially a Basic Goose with the occasional side effect that you force the duck to kill at 3 people left within 60 seconds.....
Which they were gonna do anyway....

People inside the pelicans belly now can see absolutely nothing! and if the pelican is killed during the pelican hunt, the people inside the belly will be scattered across the map as soon as the pelican is killed
This is a minor nerf making it so that the ducks actually have a winning chance after the pelican hunt
I hate when GGD just refuses to open. There is zero reason for it to lock me out and force me to reset my internet when it is perfectly fine, especially when I am UNABLE to reset the internet. I don't know if it's intentional or why those restrictions might be in place, but it's incredibly frustrating.
But the unique advantage of gravy is it cannot be assassinated in the meeting.
There are no restrictions in place, your device has to meet minimum requirements and be able to connect to game servers. If you're unable to connect, you may need to check your device and network settings
If on desktop, you will also require to pass the Easy Anti-Cheat check
Never had an issue running the game. It either connects instantly and flawlessly or won't do it at all. On days that it refuses to connect, the internet is still working perfectly on all other devices, and on all other apps on my phone.
I can honestly say, we do not have a "Not today Doug" button

The judgment of fortune teller is: too brainless
Isn't that a price to pay for staying alive to get information about a possible killer

I think you may be looking at the fortune teller through a keyhole view. Staying alive is not a price to pay, as fortune teller, you are still a goose with the goal to vote out the ducks or complete enough task. If you are grouping up there are still roles like pigeon and demo to be on the watch for (and additional bombs with the wheel of effects) so might not be the best strategy to stay bunched up in a group. The fortune teller can be a tool for social deduction especially in early game with lots of players
Similar as if you were to say the vigilante is a useless role because it can only kill once, you take the shot right away then you're just a goose. However, as the game progresses and you still have that shot, you have a better chance of taking out a duck/defending yourself
It all comes down to how you use the role and their abilities.
Don't forget about the assassin, either
Assassins love roles that are powerful but require one to share their sensitive info with the group.
Feedback - Fortune Teller
The Fortune Teller having 3-4 cards (sometimes it's only 3) in a lobby with 10 or more people is really really strong.
Not just by who it accuses, but by who it clears for a body too.
It also prevents false Sheriff misfires, and multiple other mind games you can otherwise play.
A strong role is fine, but so far, unlike other roles, I've found FT to warp the game around themselves, and without Assassin specifically, they create a very strong need to eliminate them in the first few rounds, as otherwise they simply run away with the game, without needing to do anything risky.
If there was more cards, that covered a higher majority of the lobby, or if it only worked on bodies the FT reported, then it might feel less insane.
A lot of people don't like the "forced to find the body themselves" aspect of Mort, so maybe that one would make FT feel meh, but I do feel it might need to be toned down.
It's also really hard to fake FT without messing up, making FT even stronger by proxy, since you can't really fake claim it and get away with it
it should only be 3, when there are only 3 people left.. in which case its not really doing anything

Yeah I think the one time there was only 3 cards, the person who was the Fortune Teller was missing someone with a card, or was skipping themselves having one, no idea.
Also btw, the body itself can have a card, even if there's only 1 person dead, which means it can't be Sheriff misfire, and effectively reduces it to 3 people, kinda like if you get a card on yourself.
So while (presumably) there's always 4 cards, occasionally one is irrelevant due to the above two factors.
Feedback: Wheel of Effects
I personally am not a fan of how RNG can cause a bomb to blow up someone random with no social deduction - but! I do love the Wheel of Effects for a different reason.
It makes people motivated to do tasks.
There isn't a direct incentive aside from "win" that doing tasks has, and for some lobbies, people would rather not do tasks and only social deduct - which is absolutely okay! But the side effect of the Wheel meaning that tasks invariably are done slowly over time, is a positive little quirk about the Carnival that I think helps create good games.
Edit: to clarify - tasks get done because (at least in my lobbies) people love spinning the Wheel, and therefore do tasks to get tickets to do so.
Also the bomb isn't "bad" per se, I just am a social-deduction nerd that loves figuring out "whodunit" which wheel bombs throw a wrench into lol. Someone just randomly dies and there's nothing to be done about it.
But that's my personal take, and others enjoy it, so that's okay. It's why I'm not a fan of Demo (due to the fact you can't control who you kill, and it can often explode on a friendly duck partner) but others like Demo, so that's okay.
Feedback 2: Fortune Teller
After a second day of trying out Fortune Teller, I feel like I should point something else out.
Fortune Teller being on a map with Camera and Intercom task seems.... silly.
Sometimes the cards land on people who did Cameras or Intercom, and unless you have a Falcon, which isn't guaranteed, that's basically 2 hard clears that make the FT's cards even MORE powerful, as you can almost for sure ignore cards on Cam/Intercom cleared players. 9 times out of 10, they aren't Falcon - it's a niche enough scenario that unless they're caught red handed, it's a reasonable play to ignore cards on those players.
Cards have also semi-regularly landed on the reported body itself, meaning only 3 cards are relevant, as unless it's a Sheriff misfire or Lovers, it's not a self kill, - and there's been enough instances of only 1 body dying and being found, with a card on itself, it basically narrows FT cards down to 3.
Add this on top of a FT card landing on a Camera or Intercom person, and you have it already down to a 50/50, with zero work done aside from basic social deduction that a smart lobby can do with the facts given, no hard deducing involved.
As it stands, that has been very crazy strong, and I've regularly had rounds the FT runs away with the game, unless there's Assassin.
(And sometimes even if it's a classic lobby with Assassin enabled, unless it's guaranteed, FT still does it anyway)
Making Assassin mandatory (which can't happen in draft) on Carnival due to how strong FT is, is how FT currently feels, and I've tried a few strategies to counter it (such as doing tasks and calling the Rabbit sabbo - thank you for nerfing it to 6 tickets btw, 3 tickets for the Rabbit sabbo was WAY too strong) but I have not found anything so far.
It's funny though, it first went from Ducks being absurdly strong on Carnival due to Rabbit transform sabbo, and now Geese are the really strong ones with Fortune Teller. XD
Anyway that's all.
You have a point, FT is just too strong because the information that it gives is powerful. The idea of the role is not bad but giving 4 cards is too little (because as you stated you often can clear one card with the process of elimination), 5 cards would be a bandage fix and adding more than 5 would make it difficult to keep track off and would make the role useless in the end game. Unless I am not seeing it right the FT might need a rework if not an entire overhaul.
Also cameras and intercom were already a problem ever since they were added to the game, they give a free way to confirm yourself as a non-duck which is just straight up unfair.
I don't think having 6+ cards would make it difficult to keep track of. Just means you type it out as a list in chat - or alternatively, keep note of who doesn't have a card.
If most of the lobby has a card except for 2-3 people, then those people are hard clear for that particular body.
I'm no saying that's the only way to nerf FT, but I don't find adding a higher percentage of cards to be a problem, as long as not everyone gets a card.
It's not unfair honestly - neutrals can also get the tasks, and if you really think it's that strong - kill the people who claim they fix them.
Or be like me, have someone tell you "hey I can prove I'm innocent, watch me turn on Intercom" then follow them there privately, have them fix Intercom, then kill them right after, and claim you fixed Intercom xD
Cannibal makes this easy, if there's no witnesses.
I politely disagree that Camera and Intercom are "unfair" though. They definitely aren't, and there's tons of ways to play around the "I did Cameras so I'm clear" for two players.
The only way it's "unfair" is if your lobby size is 8 or fewer players, at which point - just make a house rule for your small lobby to not claim those tasks.
Otherwise, I've never had a problem or had Cameras/Intercom tasks be "unfair"
But definitely if you feel like it's a "problem" - that means you haven't been killing the people who are clear, which is what the ducks should do.
People who are hard clear, unless you're marinating them, are a disadvantage to you, and you should use your tools to eliminate them.
If they're grouping too much? Pigeon wins.
You can also kill remotely via Invis or Esper, who both counter grouping.

At that point if you are willing to add more than 6 cards to the FT it would be better to give cards to players who didn't kill to make it easier for new players that may find it difficult to keep track. But don't get me wrong, for experienced players there would be no problem in adding more cards but also keep in mind that there are new players and some may find the role difficult to play. Not everyone can think or act the same way, so simplicity helps.
Everything you said is correct but the thing is: every single play you mentioned that you can do as a duck can be easily countered by experienced players (lobbies in which I often play). If you don't want someone to steal your task and fake confirming themselves then just announce you have the task in meetings and boom, simple as that your claim can't be stolen unless someone acts quick and counters your claim but you can just follow both players and then call a meeting so the pigeon doesn't win. Currently most roles that are designed to punish grouping are not as effective against players who know how the game works, hence cameras and intercom are fair in casual games but not in competitive ones.
Killing confirmed players is the best way to play as a duck but having in the start of the game 2 players that got a free confirmation can be frustrating at times especially if you get a duck loadout with a low kill power, in draft this may not be an issue but you need to keep in mind there are classic players that play with everything enabled. I am not saying nor implying that having confirmation tools is bad but they should have a risk/not being free or should be able to be faked by ducks who can do plays like bussing their teammates.
What about a compromise for the FT? Have the number of cards given out be proportional to the number of alive players. 6 cards for 12-15, 5 cards for 8-10, 4 cards for 4-7, and only three cards if the final three (or give the dead body one, too). Of course this is an arbitrary grouping that would need testing, but the varying number never makes it too overpowered.

I'm saying that the only "Camera and Intercom" neutral that could kill and therefore not be clear by Camera/Intercom is Falcon, unless Pelican swallows the Canadian. (As Pelican won't ever be the killer of a body reported otherwise)
So except in the case of exactly Pelican eating Canadian, or Falcon, Cameras and Intercom clear those people from cards accusing them.
And if a Geese kills I do hope they fess up to it.
I suppose changing the wording and swapping it to cards being on innocent players would be easier to keep track of. I'm not sure if "these people are innocent of this kill" is what Fortune Teller is meant to be, in the "theme" of the role, but I do understand what you mean.
Maybe if it was only like 2 cards? Idk.
But I do agree with your sentiment that simplicity helps especially for newer players.
I would say within reason I play with somewhat fairly reasonable/experienced players, at least a handful of players in my lobbies are regulars who know the game and are above level 100 :)
As for "being unable to counter those people being clear" - kill them. Idk how your lobbies play, or how much trouble you have with grouping, but my lobbies only occasionally have grouping as an issue, and that's usually only when there's no roles (Esper, Invis, Pigeon) to counter it.

Having the number of cards be higher with the more players alive would definitely significantly help. When they first released FT and I read the description, I had actually assumed the number of cards would be a variable percentage of how many players are alive, much like how Vulture and Lobbyist are dependant on lobby size.
I was wrong of course, but that was my original assumption xD
Having a number of cards that is... say 50-70% of the lobby alive, would significantly help in toning down the power level of FT
.... if it could be some sort of time consuming task to do with the Crystal Ball that would be interesting and unique, since it's locked to the Carnival anyway.
(That would decrease the simplicity of it, I know, and therefore likely not something implemented, but it's a thought that crossed my mind)
I think with cams, if someone is on the camera where a kill happens then that kill is recorded and can be played back at meetings.
Right right. Raising the amount of cards may help. Something like 6 cards for an 8 player lobby, maybe 7 cards for 9 to 11 players and 8 cards for anything higher than 11 players.
I'm not quite convinced that raising the number of cards is the way to go, although there certainly are adjustments to be made

The host has the tools to control the lobby
Unfortunately, we cannot control when bad actors enter a game, but we do provide in-game tools to help moderate your lobbies. Conversations that go on in-game are still private, and we do not have access to the audio in any way. You can block or mute the relevant players in-game and use the in-game censoring filter. Public lobbies have report features that will be attached to their accounts and may result in bans. The relevant players can also be kicked from the lobbies by the host and will not be able to rejoin unless permitted to by the host. If the player in question is the host, and a sufficient number of players block their mics, they will be kicked from the game, and once again that will be reflected on their account.
i just wish that you could kick during a round for toxic players
I understand the ideal scenario. People will play the game they want to play, some will want to socialize more than others. If we allowed players to kick mid-game that could become an abused mechanic where the host dies and they just kick everyone
Socializing is not necessarily a toxic behaviour and people will have a different opinions. That is why the host is provided tools to control their lobby

It seems to be visible at the moment of cancellation.
The astral should be aware of their own outfit, but everyone else should be a naked gray blob. Depending on lag, you might see the true appearance immediately after ending the ability or if a meeting interrupts

It isn't meant to be able to see, but sometimes latency can cause unintended effects, such as this.

I experienced a bug in which I got a 15-second bomb at the beginning of the next meeting 8 seconds after the meeting starts, yet the demolitionist only gave me the bomb right before that previous meeting
It resets to 9 seconds, minus the animation, whenever a meeting occurs. This is also the case if you only had one second left and a meeting was called

I got handed the bomb and then very shortly after, a meeting was called, so from my impression, it was never in my mind that a demolitionist existed until the meeting is over, and then going into the map play, I get a 15-second bomb 8 seconds in

Is it just me or is Sacrifice Bell generally very useless to the ducks?
I would love it if you could disable forced roles in Draft, I.e. Lovers and Bodyguard. I really hate in a mode about selecting your role; you are sometimes forced into roles you didn't ask for, ruining your gameplay experience. This could be a togglable setting in the lobby, so lobby hosts can choose to have these roles or not.
adding people as friend is so buggy i sent friend request the person got error then sent me one i accepted but does not appear in my list just as pending request.. such a hassle most of the times

In games I play, nobody does tasks because they feel like they're never completed anyways

they don't do tasks. That's why I don't either.
People will play how they want to play. If nobody does tasks, you're giving the Ducks essentially unlimited time to kill as slowly as they want. Without tasks, geese must resort to deduction to eliminate the ducks. Ducks are more likely to make mistakes when they see tasks being completed.
I like to think of tasks as a goose's sabotage. A critical sabotage like reactor or oxygen or rabbits, while they can immediately end the game, are more meant to put pressure on the geese and disrupt them. Tasks act more as a timer putting pressure on the ducks than a consistant win condition.
Being forced to choose a role can never fully be avoided in Draft. If nobody has chosen enough neutral or duck roles by the end, you will only get duck/neutral roles. I can understand being annoyed being forced to be Bodyguard or Lover, but the only solution is really removing those roles from Draft again. Lots of people were asking for them to be added, so this is what will have to be.

I think the bomb killer before the patch was better. If I push the V button to turn the bomb over, I think the fun of the game increases because it's possible to turn the bomb over to who I want.
Some suggestions:
1.
Delete the pelican-vulture conflict
One is to prevent players from seeing pelicans or vultures in a round to learn information that another class doesn't have
Secondly, it can increase the fun of the game
2.
A new setting allows the owner to decide whether to allow the falcon to be present at the same time as the pelicans
When there are only five active players left on the spot and there are both Falcon and Pelican, there will be a 90-second "hunting moment".
All remaining players with no Kill ability will gain one kill without responsibility
The "hunting moment" ends when either the falcon or the pelican dies
If the Falcon and Pelican survive to the end of the "hunting moment" or if there are only two viable players on the field,
Falcon ļ¼ Pelican jointly win
- Let's say all the ducks are dead, Pelican is alive and the vulture only got to eat one body. The vulture can't possibly win. Does that sound fun if you're the vulture?
- I think it would be messy to have both a pelican and a falcon in a game, even ignoring the win condition. Having them win jointly only encourages them teaming up, which can be very annoying for everyone else.
Also them being together means that in a full game, there will be 5 killers at once. The game will be going by way too fast.
The first point can be discarded
However, the second point can be modified:
When there are only three active players left on the scene and both the Falcon and Pelican exist, you will enter a 60-second "Hunt Time"
When one falcon or pelican dies as a result of the other, the "hunting moment" ends and the other survivor wins
If the falcon or pelican is killed by another player, the falcon death will enter pelican time, and pelican death will release the player in the belly
If both the falcon and pelican are alive at the end of the hunting moment, both are dead and the final survivor's side of the field wins (if no final survivor will release pelican belly players)
As for the progression of the game and the level of confusion, since I only play in China, I will only give my opinion briefly
Game progress in China is still too slow, usually one or two dead bodies are reported
And the degree of the goose's delegation is too ridiculous (this is in the case of the establishment of housing regulations)
Ducks and falcons/pelicans have no way to start

I'm not natively fluent in Chinese (despite years of school lessons as a second language) and have only played in English-speaking lobbies, but from my general observation of clips posted on bilibili, my opinion is that progress is seen as slow because of how the culture of gameplay is within these lobbies.
For example, lobbies that will let all remaining players speak their piece during meetings, one by one, is almost unique to the Chinese GGD community (as compared to a back-and-forth conversation, mainly between the reporter and the accused player [if any]). And because of this, meetings tend to be extremely long and therefore time-consuming.
Geese have the numbers (at the start of the game), but severely lack accurate information and trust within one another.
Ducks are outnumbered, but have the ability to sow discord and create chaos and mistrust between geese, by eliminating geese and neutrals, if played well and luck is on their side.
And of course, the neutrals are there to confuse geese, ducks, and other neutrals.
There are people who abuse their power and harass people. To solve this problem, please establish a system to forcibly deport if more than 5 people report it.
Unfortunately, we cannot control when bad actors enter a game, but we do provide in-game tools to help moderate your lobbies. Conversations that go on in-game are still private, and we do not have access to the audio in any way. You can block or mute the relevant players in-game and use the in-game censoring filter. Public lobbies have report features that will be attached to their accounts and may result in bans. The relevant players can also be kicked from the lobbies by the host and will not be able to rejoin unless permitted to by the host. If the player in question is the host, and a sufficient number of players block their mics, they will be kicked from the game, and once again that will be reflected on their account.

Did Hitman and bodyguard change how their rewards work? I thought as Hitman you just needed to kill the target, and bodyguard only needed them to stay alive.

There's a glitch with dueling dodos on carnival. Did 5 tasks but wouldn't allow me to kill them. Also could see the other dodo from 4th task when should only see after finishing the 5 tasks.

Is it possible the other dodo was eaten by a pelican? If he'd been swallowed, you'd see he's in the belly the whole time.
Certain specific tasks aren't counting for the dueling dodos, we'll fix it in a future patch

I really do think the Lights sabotage and the Doors sabotage should be improved as they are largely by and far useless, and there's already several sabotages that do nothing but activate a toilet already.
For example, the lights sabotage should just make the lights permanently off until fixed, or if that's "too much" should have a visual indicator for the ducks as to when the lights are off, as they CANNOT take advantage of the lights being off if they don't know if they're off or not.
The doors randomly closing is essentially useless, and I feel like it should close them, with a manual way to open them (keeping them open for 10 seconds before closing again until sabbo is fixed) like on Ancient Sands.
I also feel like there should always be at least one singular critical sabotage on the map, and not including one here was a miss, as that part of the interrupting a bell-ring gameplay is fairly core to every other map.
I would like if possible for us to remove roles in draft like you can in classic? when you have a small group and Pidgeon, or Pelican can be like very frustrating..you can ask people not to pick them but than sometimes you go random and you still get it..
Combo demolitionist and rabbit sabotage is great. When the bomb starts ticking and at the same time the sabotage is played, you spent half the time waiting for the random person to be a rabbit, while your life is slowly ticking away

I really do like this role but I think that there's some issues with this role if you're not the one with the role, Which is that I think it would be more balanced if it was impossible for there to be a Vigilante if there was a sherrif and vice-versa that way there will be less deaths and you'd have the game go for longer
In classic you can disable one or the other if you prefer it that way.

For the people who bought all the claw machines, will they be compensated? I dropped $60 on this game for the sole purpose of unlocking claw machine tokens to spend and now that itās going away like that. I felt like I couldāve invested in something else like Helldivers 2+DLC.
^I second the sentiments of this comment. To charge for the claw machines and then remove it feels unfair. Not to mention the token drop rates are very low for some of the machines only to get other tokens or silver from them. Had I known that what we were actually paying for with these claw machines was access to them for a limited time I wouldn't have bothered!
There is also the fact that getting tokens to even be able to make a draw on these machines takes a very long time and now that the machines are getting removed and I'm currently very busy I won't even be able to attempt to get more tokens to make my final draws to get whatever cosemetics are left. And when the renovations are done, what will be used to make the new exciting draws.
Kinda agree about Claw machines. If someone spent gold on it - it's supposed to be compensated. We understand that developers just add more stuff in order to make game better, and some mechanics will be changed for that. But it must be done in a fair way, because some people payed for that and it just loses value to zero, which technically can be considered as a scam. What about cosmetics in machines? Does it means we will need to spend gold (again) to get it, or we won't be able to get it anymore? I have 33 orange tokens, but I can't even use it, so it's gonna be thrown into trash can?

No kidding. The most frustrating part is that I've gotten stupid silver tokens on my last two pulls of the gold machine. So I spent a hefty amount to money to use it, get the worst machine tokens half the time I use it, and now I'm going to lose the opportunity to get the costume items I actually want from that machine too

We really need the option to see who voted who in Draft (just like it exists in classic), it removes a lot of strategy if you can't see who votes who and what role just got ejected (and just remove the mechanic that forces some roles to skip I don't think it's needed)

Vast majority of people play with votes colour-hidden. And there's actually a lot of strategy to not knowing who voted who, just the number of votes. It also makes it far far more strategic to not know the roles of those ejected.
This isn't Among Us with almost no custom roles xD
Also, the being forced to skip part is to balance the power level of Pelican and Falcon, who are really strong solo roles.
And the forced skipping CAN out the pelican/falcon. Either by chance or if some crappy lobby host makes everyone vote for themselves to reveal the falcon
Self voting to find pelican/falcon I have never once seen go well. It always backfores because either
A: The ducks decide that now is the perfect time to vote out the strongest player and ride that momentum to the finish line
B: The dodo decides to make their move by skipping and getting voted out the next round
C: People are really good at not following instructions. People are gonna vote how they normally vote anyway because either they didn't notice or because they simply don't wanna follow a strat that dangerous.
These are strategies players can use.
Yeah, sometimes it can work, but there's a million ways it can go wrong haha. I've never not allowed it in my lobbies because most of the time it dramatically fails anyway for one of the above reasons.
The most I've seen is people noting they're voting themselves, right before it reveals vote count, so if they only have one vote, and nobody else owns up to it, it kinda says that person did indeed vote themselves.
That only means they aren't falcon/Peli though, and there's still lots of other variables lol

The map is still fairly laggy comparatively to every other map, even the new ones, whenever a sandstorm kicks in, and it can make playing the game stuttery and rather difficult
Idea for a new role: Can leave dummy corpses around which explode when reported
Why can't we change map on public lobbies? And also it would be nice if we didn't have to activate every role manually in the settings, why can't we have all roles activated by default?
You can actually create presets with all the roles enabled if you save your settings and load them in when you create a lobby

Feedback: I use an ultrawide screen and the goose head / arm for reports / meetings cut short before the far edge. The rest of the ultrawide functionality is great, but this is one of those things which stands out a lot

having all the stingers available is nice, but i like it when we can set what stingers we want to use on the maps
Ok, so I've checked new Claw machine. There are a lot of cool cosmetics. And now we can spend silver coins to play 1th. and 2nd. claw. However we can't buy cosmetics directly anymore. And also now it's more expensive, since previously you needed just to unlock machine once and then just farm tokens, now you need to pay gold for every draw. And I see some cosmetics you could previously by with silver coins (8500) now moved to machine and now you need to pay gold for it.
Still yet, update is interesting, but mostly targeted for people who buy gold currency.
Kinda sad I didn't bought claw machine on discount, count spend 33 orange tokens I had. 16 draws for 125 gold. Now it's just 1 for 100 gold or 2 for 60 gold.
Dear developers!!!! I love and support your game for more than a year and a half. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to spin the new machines several times, but itās very sad that the machines for gold coins give 1 spin and itās not a fact that the skin will appear, and if I get a repeat, they literally give me dust, which thereās nothing special to exchange for! this is not very fair and the desire to support you disappears(

People should not have the ability to re-pull the items they already have, only to receive dust instead. There is zero chance that I am going to spend 100 gold ($13+tax Canadian) on the mega machine if that is the case.
i feel like if im personally gonna pay a 100 gold coins for a claw machine pull i want a garanteed red item otherwhise the risk is just not worth it I would be paying 10 Euros on a chance of 5% to get a red tier item and then not even the item i want there is so many items and its not even garanteed to be red i would have to spend 100s of euros to get the things i want i think thats a bit over the top i can understand that a free to play game needs to make money but its a gacha system there is no garantee on the item u get which makes the price way to high for the average person to be able to spend and actually get the items they would like.
I hope there will be a way to change it in a way maybe so that people who do spend the money can actually get the items they want within a reasonable price.

So there is 69 Red tier items in the Mega claw machine You have a 5% chance to get a Red tier item.
That being said
You have a 0,07 % Chance to get the exact item that you want each role you do.
Every role costs around 10 Euros where im from.
that is too much for just 1 cosmetic item piece.
I think the best thing to remember are cosmetics are exactly that. COSMETIC. You are NOT blocked from playing the game in any way by cosmetics. GGD is a free to play game, however there has to be some money made in order to support the studio to keep the game going. So if I want to spend money I will knowing it goes towards supporting the devs continue to make the game better. Thats why cosmetic things cost some money, cause the bills have to be paid somehow!
Put at least ONE of the cars in the dust shop? š„ŗ Especially the soapbox car, thatās the one almost everyone was saving all of their silver for

One of my biggest joys of playing was the chance to get tokens when doing tasks, and often it was other geese motivation to do tasks as well. Now tasks do not feel as rewarding.
Actually, I understand it's a gacha game, but the machine is too expensive compared to the drop rate.
Additional feedback: I'm bummed we can't collect coins by doing tasks - it was fun to collect and earn over time to buy something you wanted. Also, the new "machines" feels so much like the ones on Stumble Guys, and I really dislike that element of the game. I'm not opposed to paying for the cosmetics, but I'd like to be able to choose what I'm paying for. I spent a decent sum previously on the game, and would absolutely buy outfits if I can choose them. I won't spend money to likely get something I don't want.

Change can be overwhelming, we definitely understand that. Also keep in mind that the dust shop is for buying specific items, and there are plans to rotate items in and out. There may come a day where something you really want is in the dust shop, and duplicates will help you get dust faster to ensure you get them. Duplicates are not necessarily a bad thing.
Just want to echo this as something I also agree with - being able to select my Stinger for me, mattered more than having them all (as someone who only had a few unlocked)
I have a few I much prefer over others, for what others see come from my end.
@dry wind - FWIW - I'm not overwhelmed by change, but I am bummed that this pushed me out of the group willing to continue providing financial support in the current/new model. I love this game and play nearly every single day. It has been really fun. I also spend money - probably too much - on cosmetics. But it was a heck of a bummer to do the free spins and then spend my remaining coins on spins that resulted in zero items that I would have chosen for myself and/or duplicates or dust. There are some SUPER cute new cosmetics that I would happily pay for, but I'm not going to pay for the chance of getting something that has thus far proven to be lackluster at best.
We never want to tell players how to spend their money. The claw machines may not be for everyone, and that's why we still have these other ways to get cosmetics! There's also a small chance to get a special offer for specific items; so as long as players check often, there's a possibility of getting an offer for that item. Additionally, we're continuously working on more ways for players to acquire cosmetics in the future, ensuring there's always something new and exciting to look forward to.
I just wish it would go back to the old way, I also just miss the fun of going to the lounge and playing the actual claw machines. I feel like Iām only doing tasks to more than likely just get dust. I think the old way was better. Also I already spent a good amount of money buying the machines to not be able to use them anymore, is kinda sad and disheartening. I miss doing tasks and having the opportunity to get tokens. Thereās just no point to going to the lounge anymore really. Just kinda feels like youāre doing a whole lot for nothing when playing.
I have several concerns with the latest update:
ā¢It screwed those of us who payed money to open the claw machines. Proper compensation would have been a refund on gold coins or much better pulls on the new (yet much worse) claw machines.
ā¢You claim that you only have a small percentage of players that financially support you. This new model further ostracizes those who could not afford to purchase cosmetics. Now theyāre even less likely to spend money.
ā¢It gouges those who previously spent money with the astronomical price of gold coins.
ā¢To purchase ONE draw from the mega claw you have to have at least 100 gold coins. That means that you have to spend a minimum of $10 to draw once. To think that players are going to be more willing to spend money when they could easily waste $10 getting 500 dust is ludicrous.
At the end of the day thereās too much risk for not enough reward. I might buy holiday/event cosmetics if those prices arenāt gouged, but I wonāt spend a penny on gold for claw grabs. Now if youāll excuse me, Iāve got to go spend my hard earned silver coins on dust.
Having seen the update, I am a bit confused why the old tokens were totally thrown out instead of converted to free draws from the relevant claw machine. When we changed from materials to tokens, they were converted 1 to 1. Even if the tokens had been converted at a ratio of the previous pulls (eg. 10 blue tokens to 1 medium claw pull) would have felt better than completely losing what was previously earned.
I'm not gonna say what was already said by others, but I'm gonna add my bit. I'm really happy, that you have announced that we won't be able to buy any cosmetics directly and we'll have to roll for everything. I would have spent my silver on old cosmetics, rather than gambling. But I guess that wouldn't work in your favor, so you conveniently didn't mention it. This update is a huge moneygrab, nothing else. If your solution for not enough people financially supporting you is to charge more, then you have no idea what you are doing. The same was for the claw machine events, when you added ugly shirts just to make us spend more money to get the nice stuff. I've spent too much on cosmetics, but not anymore. You got greedy, you don't deserve it.

I think having to pay for cosmetics is totally fine but please make it so we can choose what we are buying, there is no way anyone is spending $10 to most likely get something they don't even want
I supported the game by buying all the claw machines, there was no need to reset what I already owned and was supposed to be "in perpetuity"/till the game runs". The 5 pulls I got from "free" in the new highest machine, were dupes of what I already own and that shouldn't be a thing!
I'd pay for tangible things in games and support devs who respect players' time and money.
P.S. You just axed 50% of the people who pay for cosmetics and there is no trust that remains about terms of "Limited cosmetic" "Never to return". And yeah the compensation wasn't enough.

In a sea of all these comments, I just wanna be a small comment of positivity - I really appreciate Hats and Eyes (among possibly other things) being available in the Dust shop, I think that's very cool that those are made possible to be purchased with Dust. 
I don't have a deep opinion on the new Claw Machines yet - I'll give it some time to feel out the new system before I provide a developed opinion, but I am hopeful/optimistic, and shall see how it goes.
I shall provide a more detailed opinion once I have seen the system used more, and can get a better feel for how much Dust one earns (and the price of stuff in the Dust shop) / what the new system feels like to use.

Vrail does have a good point. Up until now, head cosmetics required at least some gold coin expenditure. There's now a ton of green rarity head cosmetics that can easily be won with silver coins, so that was a nice gesture. Thank you for that.
The fact that the silver and gold coins are now basically just claw machine tokens should have been communicated beforehand. That's what I'm most pissed about.

I love the new backgrounds on the various cosmetics, they look good and make it easier to identify my favourites quickly
I think so far one thing I noticed was that the heads and eyes, even some pets.... are now more widely available. Now... the best ones LESS SO but the fact is a newer player can now feasibly fill most slots free or not... I felt the old system with heads and pets being pay EXCLUSIVE with some REALLY fancy body pieces still being silver... was not as great an idea always felt there were some bodies worth gold and some silver worth hair pieces I'd never pay gold for but in the scheme of things would be nice on a new account.
Simple put the new system seems to be more cool factor over which slot does this equip, I will not state anything on pricing... but I will say THIS ASPECT is more balanced than ever before in my opinion.
This comes down to basic maths for me. There were head pieces, masks etc that used to cost 250 gold that now cost 50k in dust. The best case scenario for dust from the mega claw machine is 2600 dust per pull (keep in mind you have <5% chance of getting this) meaning at an absolute minimum it will require 20 pulls. This means something that used to cost 250 gold is now going to cost AT LEAST 2000. I agree with a lot of the previous comments in that it feels like a cash grab to me. For those lauding eyes and what not now being "free". The drop rates for those are low and if you're relying on dust by the time you collect enough from the silver only machines these claw machines won't exist and the game will have moved on to the next scheme going by how quickly these claw machines changed.
And don't forget to take into consideration that there are some items in the red tier that used to cost only silver. Now you have a miniscule chance to get them for 300 gold or whatever the mega machine costs
I don't believe it's a cash grab scheme, but after looking at the shop, I do agree the price of Dust shop items is definitely quite up there, so I wonder how often it'll rotate, considering that how much dust you get is comparatively fairly small.
And yes, the gold-to-dust ratio is definitely increased the price of any Dust shop items if you were looking to purchase them with gold vs with dust now.
I do not have any opinion to state on that yet, just observing that is indeed true that it raised the total cost required to unlock such items that are in the Dust shop.
I will reserve opinion until I see how things pan out.
(As a personal anecdote, I'm very glad I purchased the Carapace helm, Plague Doctor Mask, Eleven Oh Five, Hair of the Slayer, my Grim Reaper pet, and several other things with gold, months ago.
Because they would be inaccessible to me now (or much more expensive), and I very much like having them)
This feeling of relief of having those items for the prior gold prices, as an instinctive reaction, has some tells about the current availability/dust prices, but again, I shall wait and see how the dust settles (ha ha)
I will also lastly add that while I would've had interest in spending money to purchase Gold to get various specific cosmetics (the head pieces, and the pets) over time, this interest does not translate over to purchasing gold to get a completely random item.
For me personally, I may spend on specific purchases of gold if I feel they fit my price bracket and include items I would enjoy, but I do not hold much interest in spending money on a random mystery item, with the possibility of getting something I won't like.
Cosmetics are entirely optional, a mystery cosmetic just unfortunately doesn't motivate me that much to spend money, - my apologies.
Or a duplicate and ending up with dust for $10. Absolutely not.
If I could pick items, Iād absolutely spend real money. I have often in the past.
I donāt gamble with real money in real life, Iām not gambling with real money on a game. This will 100% make me not spend another cent, whereas before I was more than happy to support them by buying things I wanted.
I will say, other than needing to spend actual money and not being guaranteed to get the thing Iām trying to buy, I do love everything else.
I love the look, I love the huge amount of new items offered, I love that cosmetics are in levels now, I love all of it.
But Iāll never buy gold coins to use without know what Iāll get in return. A friend last night bought coins to do the highest machine, got a duplicate and ended up with dust. $10 worth of dust.
Oh and one more thing - the Goose Shop as it currently functions requires you to be logged in on a browser to view the offers.
Aside from the fact the offers I'm almost never interested in, due to being a random selection of 1-3 items, + a chunk of gold or silver, (so frequently isn't something I want) but more importantly, I am unlikely to even end up checking the Goose Store as most of the time when I look to purchase something, I am in-game, and not looking to pull up a browser tab from there to browse the offers I will likely skip over anyway.
This might be a personal experience and uncommon, but I figured I'd put that out there, that the current implementation of the "random offers" most of the time doesn't even arrive on my screen, because I'm not logging in and checking there when I go to play the game.
Iāve often been asked in a lobby where I got something I had on. My reply is usually āI bought itā or āit came from a claw machineā (I had all of them open).
I usually got āIām not spending money on a gameā as a reply and I always came back with āIām more than willing to spend my adult money on a free game I love to support them.ā
Thatās not the case anymore and thatās disappointing.

The dust shop was not intended to be a targeted shopping experience for players but we understand that it might be for others. It was intended for us as developers a way to sunset older cosmetics and make them more valuable to those who supported us by playing or converting on offers. The dust shop allows us to reward our mega supporters with a way to get older and now more exclusive cosmetics.
We also don't recommend buying the lowest tier gold pack (which is intended to round out to pull a claw machine). We can't tell people how to spend their money but we offer way better deals on gold to get that price down by 50% or more. We are also looking into ways to getting more free gold into circulation.
We appreciate the feedback, but really it was about creating a bigger separation between f2p accounts and those that support us.

Once you support us you're always a supporter, the cosmetics that we sunsetted are rarer and harder to obtain now. Just like any collectible game, older stuff falls out to make way for newer stuff and becomes less likely to be seen in the wild.
That was one of the major feedbacks we got from the player base. They loved rarer more exclusive cosmetics. We could achieve anything close to this without introducing 400+ cosmetics in one go.
by rarer I think you actually mean at least 8x more expensive in gold than they used to be
but you're right people can spend their money how they wish.....I just don't think the value is there anymore so I too will now be an f2p account

They most definitely are a bad thing when duplicates give you less dust than just pulling dust on a machine....
However people really interacted with the claw machines. They loved them more than the shop.

I never got that, I would have bought it. I got offered the gift hat, the cat face, and then only the ring cosmetics for days.

I get that, and I never minded spending money to get something I wanted. My main, only really, complaint is now we have to spend money and not even know what we are getting.
If, for example, the space ship outfit was available for purchase, Iād buy it. But I wonāt buy gold with only a slight chance Iāll end up with it.
You guys do an amazing job with this game. You give us new maps and new cosmetics and new roles faster and more often than any other game Iāve ever played. I want to support that, but I canāt with this set up.

We don't only count people who financially support us as our only supporters. Those who are valuable members of our community and play the game help just as well. We just can't give them the same "cool" benefits as those who also financially support us.
Leaving us a positive review, talking about us on socials, clipping your gameplay moments, twitch streaming all support us.
We understand that not everyone has the cash flow to throw around and we're not asking them to.
We make A LOT less than games in our genre that sell for $5 a license.
If there weren't a possibility of spending your money, only to get a duplicate (so just getting dust) on the claws, I think people would be less upset. People liked the old claw machines because you couldn't pull duplicates, yeah, you would get coins or tokens from time to time, but at least there wasn't a risk of pulling the same few cosmetics every time you did a pull. I really think you guys should consider removing the ability of pulling duplicates.
I don't even want to use my free pulls on the paid machines after the horrible luck i had yesterday.
I would be much more likely to spend gold on claw pulls if I knew I wasn't going to pull a duplicate item.
Again, we're not going to tell you how to spend your money and it's entirely your choice on how you want to do it. If you buy the lowest gold pack to make a mega-claw pull it will cost you $10 but there are many ways to get gold a lot cheaper.
But we do appreciate your feedback and we are listening.

All I'll say for now is hey, this is your folks financial decision, so if you feel the claw machines will ultimately be more profitable to you in this setup; all the more power to you people in the Gaggle Devs.
It doesn't personally motivate me to spend more gold on random Gacha spins, but hey, if it's making better profit for you folks, then carry on.
The best way to make profit is paid DLC to be honest.
Putting the whole system aside for a moment, it's a business decision, and one you folks are hoping generates more profits or feel that it will.

Considering what Overwatch used to do,(not anymore directly) what DBD does, and so on, that doesn't surprise me
Its one of the few ways we can continue to pay for and support the servers/development/security and the creative team behind the game. We want to keep all of our game content free forever.
As a side note, I just think it's really awesome that the devs are active in the community and listening directly to the playerbase. Not many games have a team that cares this much 
If we were strictly profit motivated we would more likely charge for DLC but our top priority since day one is leaving no player behind.

We tried that, it didn't go. People just waited out our stuff.
That's fair, - also interesting it differs from games like Overwatch that had players jump at getting early access. Perhaps because OW is a more competitive-oriented game, so people not getting early access has a form of FOMO attached
In Overwatch, if you pay to get early access to a hero, that's literally pay-to-win in most cases (especially as heroes at launch may be overpowered and need balancing).

Fine, letās talk real math since you donāt āwant to tell us how to spend our moneyā. If I bought the most economical pack of 2000 coins for $100 thatās still $5 per mega claw grab. This would be semi palatable if there was a guarantee I would get a rare cosmetic. This however is not true as one could grab as little as 500 dust.
Long story short, the math aināt mathing and weāre not having it.
I will say, I just played the mega machine quite a few times and some of the cosmetics are really nice.

I'm just mulling over "what would motivate me to spend" and apply that to the larger consumer base. I appreciate the sentiment the Gaggle Devs are discussing about making sure to keep it open to all players. So I'm just mulling over different concepts to put my 2-cents in of what drives me to be interested in paying money as an IAP in a game
It's not about no benefits however. When the game itself is free, and the purchases are all optional - it's about knowing what makes the most amount of people happy to throw money at the game, in a way the Gaggle Devs would be satisfied with

For everyone upset about the changes or bothered - I would say this is what those folks should mull over. What would motivate you to spend money on the game?

They have the statistics of what things they've tried that have worked and what hasn't, and by how much, after all.
You have access to all game content for free still.
They would have gotten money either way. People played and paid for the old machines. Not many people here seem too willing to throw money at the game rn nor do many people seem happy about it.
This is exactly what I did, and I think I got somewhere around ~8-10 duplicates.
