__ ## I can't change my name__

__ ## I made a purchase but I haven't gotten it yet:__

You may need to relaunch the game for these items to show. If relaunching doesn't work, make sure the payment went through, as sometimes it can take a few days for your bank to process the transaction.

__ ## Not Logged In/Missing UID__

Saying not logged in is likely just a visual error. If you open your collections tab, you should still see all of your cosmetics. We are working on fixing this.

For both not logged in and Missing UID, some users have reported that logging out of your account, closing the game, reopening the game, and logging back in will fix this error. We are investigating the cause for this visual error for some users.

__ ## I Can't Connect / Something Went Wrong!__

Try disabling any anti-virus/firewall you're using and see if you can connect. We've recently discovered some anti-virus programs are false-flagging our game. You may need to whitelist our game. If not, try disabling IPV6 on your network adapter. Sometimes a VPN will also help this situation.

__ ## My Game Closes / Crashes After Loading__

Please uninstall the game completely, and reinstall it. This should fix this issue.

__ ## I keep getting kicked from games: Error Code 2__

If you can navigate to your GGD installation folder, can you try to run the InstallAntiCheatManually.bat ?
Note the .bat file will open a new window, and close immediately. This is intended, and that means it worked correctly.

Once that is done, try to launch the game by opening GGDLauncher.exe (The Little Blue Bear Icon)

__ ## When starting GGD directly I get an error saying security violation__

Having this any cheats installed on your PC, or any software like it such as autoclickers, could cause EAC to not work. Please remove any cheat programs before trying again. If it still doesn't work, any cheats installed my have modified system files, and requires these files either be reverted, replaced, or a fresh installation of windows.

__ ## I keep disconnecting, how can I solve this?__

The game recommends speeds of 10 Mbps for both upload and download. If those speeds above are typical for your connection, you are likely to have difficulty maintaining a good connection to the game servers. In some cases a VPN may help.

Can you try reinstalling the EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup in the Goose Goose Duck folder?

And if that doesn't work can you try opening GGDLauncher directly from the install folder?

__ ## I've Recently Updated to Windows 11 and now I get an Error Code/Security Violation__

Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection is a security feature introduced in Windows 11 22H2. Unfortunately this issue has not yet been resolved by the 3rd party client. For now, the only way to get it to work is to disable the setting by going to settings, locating Kernal-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection and switching it to OFF.

__ ## My Microphone Isn't Working__

We are aware of some issues with certain bluetooth devices and are looking into it. The best recommendation for the time being is try a wired microphone if possible.

General Microphone
If you're having microphone issues, with a wired device/headset make sure to check to see that your drivers are all up to date, and also make sure that the volume of the microphone is not set too low in your system settings. You can also try toggling echo cancelation on and off. Make sure your microphone isn't in use by other applications such as discord, or other voice chat programs at the same time, as this may cause errors.

OSX:

In launchpad search for Audio MIDI Setup. If your microphone isn't there then it might be a driver issue. If there microphone is there try to change the format to something different, like to 48,000hz or 44100hz. That might work

Mobile Devices:

Try changing your microphone permissions for Goose Goose Duck and relaunch the game. If it's a bluetooth issue, we're looking into it. The best recommendation for the time being is try a wired microphone if possible.

__ ## When I enter a lobby, I can't change my name, it says Bird 1 or Bird 2 etc.__

In the case that your name appears as Bird 1-16, the lobby is set to Privacy Mode, in which your names will not be displayed. This is a setting that the Host can select when creating the lobby.

__ ## My friend's list isn't working. Everyone is appearing offline.__

Your PC may be out of sync and ahead or behind global time.

Open Settings. Select Time and Language. Click Date and Time. Under the “Synchronize your clock” option, select the button that says “Sync Now”.
