Help. i've encountered a bug 2 times by chance, I cant heard what others saying in the room, it's a mic room and there must be someone talking and my volume is on, in the meeting it didn't show if a person is talking or not. idk ppl could not hear me also

Hi. I have trouble with game. I download goose goose duck on steam and on your official website but I still have the same problem. When I just join the game when I want to join to lobby I can't do that and all my word just change to random language. I try to download this on any diffrent accont but it is the same problem. I just restarted my router but my boyfriend who use the same spot as me can play normally. We do anything we can but still have the same trouble. I send you the screenshot how looks a like it now.

Try changing your DNS or a vpn temporarily, it seems like it can't download the language packs, which is a very weird issue.
I would first troubleshoot your network. If using wifi or ethernet cable, reboot the modem and/or router you are connected to. If using mobile data, reboot the mobile device. When the connection is restored, complete a speed test and ensure BOTH upload and download speeds are above 10 Mbps.
Certain countries or localities may require using a VPN to ensure a stable connection.

As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.
If you find none of that explanation sufficient, as Herbert always says, today we are one day closer than yesterday.

Sometimes if your internet connection is not good enough, you'll have issues finding lobbies / playing the game. It's worth checking it meets the minimum recommended

So we can safely assume it isn't internet issues being the cause

a friend got kicked midgame. it said they disconnected in meeting but said kicked in chat.
they couldnt join back in, or even click the join button afterwards when trying to join the lobby, and the owner did not kick them, and partied everyone afterwards to make sure they could join back in.
they joined back in and their username was the ingame code (not the preset username), and immediately got disconnected.
im wondering is this a bug i havent seen? or a hack? it seems like the nature of a hack but it would be very random to target him in particular cause he hadnt spoken, is a low level, and had recently joined the lobby, so it makes more sense to be a bug

Hi, i wanted to play with friends, so i installed the game from Steam, hit play, says i am playing the game, nothing happens for about a minute and than it stops.
I am running Linux Mint 21.2, i use Proton 8, i have installed Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime.
Goose Goose Duck is supported on Windows, MacOS, Android, and iOS platforms. Linux has never been an officially supported platform and if GGD was playable on linux in the past, it was a happy accident. The team is constantly working on improving the game. Linux may or may not be supported sometime in the future!

I try to join a public lobby. And every time I click on want to join it's sending me to the duck tutorial. I've completed the tutorial and it still sends me back to the tutorial
Please do not spread potential misinformation. The minimum requirements are listed as both 10 Mbps for both upload and download speeds. If either is below these speeds, you are likely to experience connection issues, especially with more players in the lobby

Hi Sebi! Goose Goose Duck does not have current support for Linux. As a Linux mint player though I have found running Proton Hotfix with the launch command of PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% works.
Note: I am not sure how this will run on your system but for me whenever I join a voice server it causes intense lag when joining and intense lag when someone else leaves or joins. A potential fix for this is using Proton GE. My computer doesn't have the specs to run Proton GE so I cannot verify how well it works.

I would ensure there are no cheat programs installed on the device, even if they're for other games. You can try disabling anti-virus software
No I don't have any cheat programs not even like a game trailor.
I am using Window 11 Defender right now, Used to have Norton 360 but I delete the program week ago.
The problem is I played this game like 20 hours ago and had no issues at all.

How do we report game cheats/hacks?
Sending an in-game bug report when you are back in the lobby after a game ends is best. The team will get the logs for the previous game that ended. Otherwise, if a user has video of these issues, they can submit those by following the instructions in #troubleshooting-and-bug-reports

So I found out that it wasn't the game that cause this problem. Some how my route port was closed(Not 100% sure tho). I restart my router and the game works again. :/

This is the second time already that some malicious person installs a bot that spams up the chat to cause everyone's game to lag up, forcing everyone out of the room
There needs to be some filter that disallows multiple messages to be sent within a short period of time
pelican seems to be glitched that killers hear the swipe but it doesn't kill peli on eagleton. will try to submit offical bug report shortly.
There already is a filter in place, I believe it's about 5 messages in a short time, after which the game should block you from sending more for a while. (I may be inaccurate on the exact numbers)
If people are somehow bypassing that via cheats or bots etc, please report the account so the team can assess the situation.
That's the problem. When we try to view the chat window, the game lags up. We can't see who did it, and even if we could, we can't report it because the game is lagged up

my game crashes on startup, and to fix it I delete Gaggle registry folders in HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE, and it works for like an hour, but then it starts crashing again, and I also have to complete the tutorial each time after deleting gaggle registry folders. Reinstalling without deleting registry folder doesn't seem to help. I also checked windows event viewer and nothing there.

so the game randomly fixes itself sometimes and breaks again but
it does that after that bug where the lobby list won't refresh, and I would do that solution where I would try to host a new lobby and when it doesn't work, I would press "go to main menu" on the loading screen and it would fix the lobby list... Except after the last update it fixes the lobby list initially, but then when I try to join any lobby, it fails to join. Except after a while it suddenly loads in the lobby I tried to host a few minutes ago and canceled the process, and then it suddenly starts loading in all the lobbies I tried to join and failed
but if I exit before it finishes doing that, it might be making the game crash on startup next time

A curious heads-up: Normally when I try to join any sort of game, including the offline "Explore" mode in the Tutorial section, on my phone, the app crashes because supposedly due to not having enough RAM, according to what I've been told on this discord.
But! If I turn off my wifi/internet on my phone, go onto airplane mode/etc, and then boot up GGD so it goes to Offline mode, with the online-functions disabled, then I'm able to use Explore mode with zero issue, without any crashes.
Any clue as to why this is the case?
Probably less resources being used in the background to stay connected to networks when you enable airplane mode

The game needs 2GB available for use, so typically a device needs 3GB at bare minimum to load into lobbies

Anyone has a problem when game chashed on initial loading? I tryed reinstalling with removing game data from AppData/LocalLow, Registy and clear Easy Anti Chead data from AppData/Roaming. I can send Player.log

If the above does not work, you may need to try connecting with a VPN
None of them works. And game not loading indefinitely. It freezes on initial loading and then crushed.

The game restarts itself whenever I attempt to join a lobby, when I attempt to create a lobby, or try to join a friend who is in a lobby.
On the Eagleton map there are certain task I can't do (Draw on Paper and Hose down pod) or the game restarts itself.

The behavior is consistent with the device having insufficient RAM to run the game after joining a lobby. The Tab series looks like the devices have either 2GB or 3GB of RAM. If your device has 2GB, it does not meet minimum specifications to run the game. If your device has 3GB, you MAY be able to join lobbies if you close all other background processes before starting the game.

Same reason it doesn't work if you die to a demo bomb next to someone I imagine. A bird isn't physically there doing a slice that can be redirected, it's all in your head 
Does anyone have any problems with logging into the game? I started up the game earlier I was logged in fine then suddenly it logged me out and i was named 'bird 1' Thinking it was a mistake I changed my name back to my original name (cost 3 gold coins) since according to the tab 'account'I was still logged in, I saw that didn't work decided to logout and login again, I had forgotten my password so I decided to reset it. I got the email changed my password, restarted the game and tried to login but now I get the following error, I tried to reset my password again but then I get the error below as well
at the I button it saids that my password is wrong while I just resetted it.
This screen shows where you go to change your display name. When your name shows as Bird 1, Bird 2, etc, the lobby host has turned on Privacy Mode for their lobby, which overwrites the player names.

I would first troubleshoot your network. If using wifi or ethernet cable, reboot the modem and/or router you are connected to. If using mobile data, reboot the mobile device. When the connection is restored, complete a speed test and ensure BOTH upload and download speeds are above 10 Mbps.
Certain countries or localities may require using a VPN to ensure a stable connection.

So, i've been experiencing this error for months now, since the game had an update avaliable i pressed a button that probably stopped the update or whatever, since then i couldn't join any room, when i tried to fix it by uninstalling the game or whatever, it got even worse and errors would appear on my screen, i tried a lot but nothing really worked, i don't really remember what was the error code but it was probably 403 or 304, there are no videos in specific that show me how to fix it so thats why i'm contacting, my older sister tried contacting the gaggle support but nothing really happened, does anyone know a solution?

This looks like an issue with Easy Anti Cheat, I would try disabling any anti virus software and try again. If there are any cheating programs installed, even for other games, this can also cause issues with EAC.

Hello! i'm back here again, so my sister came in to help and we got rid of the only anti-cheat we could find, the same error pops up, i'd set the language to english to be able to read but i don't know if this will affect any files (because some programs need to have that language to work properly) i will take a look at tutorials or stuff that i can do to see if a solution can stop this error
EAC is required for the game to launch. If you've accidentally removed the Easy Anti Cheat software, I would try reinstalling it manually starting with the instructions here
oh! i didn't remove EAC, i removed some other anti cheat software that i didn't even know was there, but i'll check the solutions to see if any work
though, does EAC come with the game or do you have to install it manually? because before the thing happened, nothing related to it happened
EAC is normally installed with the game automatically but if there's an issue, the manual install can be attempted

this time i did actually enter the game (i entered without the vpn as a test) but when i tried to join a custom game i just got that regular "You were disconnected!" message, so, i tried to join a quick play and after some seconds i disconnected and my color changed to red for some reason, when i tried to leave the game nothing really happened, had to press it twice, at this point i have no idea of what is happening-
apparently if somenthing like disconnection, game error or inactivity happen to reset my color for some reason

Has anyone had issues with steam achievements not being updated correctly? I'm not sure about the in-game ones but I've noticed that my Abduckted (Complete 1000 games) and Goosetacular (Complete 5000 games) achievements progressed as much as my Tired of Winning (Win 500 games) and Chicken Dinner (Win 2500 games) achievements during my last session, except I didn't win every game that I played. All 4 of these achievements went up by 3, but I definitely played more than 3 games, and I also (probably) won more than 3 games. I feel like there might be other achievements that have this same issue but these were the ones that I noticed.

Unfortunately, we cannot control when bad actors enter a game, but we do provide in-game tools to help moderate your lobbies. Conversations that go on in-game are still private, and we do not have access to the audio in any way. You can block or mute the relevant players in-game and use the in-game censoring filter. Public lobbies have report features that will be attached to their accounts and may result in bans. The relevant players can also be kicked from the lobbies by the host and will not be able to rejoin unless permitted to by the host. If the player in question is the host, and a sufficient number of players block their mics, they will be kicked from the game, and once again that will be reflected on their account.

No, i downloaded it and was already with that bug.

The device can run the game without problem but when i try joining any room it just closes the game and goes to my home screen

This is usually a network issue. If using wifi or ethernet cable, reboot the modem and/or router you are connected to. If using mobile data, reboot the mobile device. When the connection is restored, complete a speed test and ensure BOTH upload and download speeds are above 10 Mbps.
It is also possible that your ISP has changed something on their side, and a VPN might be needed if the basic troubleshooting does not work.

Can you confirm which country your in, I wonder if this is a DNS issue with a provider in your country as you are all using the same language tag, this is the only link I can think of, it is also out of our control. Setting your DNS to Google 8.8.8.8 or Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 should fix your issue. Failing that like suggested using a VPN will force your computer to use a different route to reach our domains.

but recently, even after restarting the game for five or more times, lobbies still don't appear. which is why i am asking for a solution here.
also, before the recent update it only took me less than 10 seconds to get into a lobby. but recently, it takes me at least 20 seconds to get in. by that time the lobby i was trying to join has either already started or already full.

I would ensure that no cheat programs for any games are installed on the device. Even if it is for a different game, it can still trigger EAC. If that is not the case, I would do a full uninstall and reinstall

This is a graphical driver failure, and happens when your DX11 drivers write the wrong resolution to your registry.
If you are using windows, type WINDOWS+R to open the run window. Type in “regedit” and launch the registry editor. Under HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE, delete every folder with Gaggle (Gaggle Studios, Gaggle Studios INC, Gaggle.Fun, GaggleStudios). Be careful NOT to delete the Google folder. Relaunch your client, and have fun!
