Server Rules Pt. 1

  1. Respect the Gaggle Crew:
    The Gaggle Crew works hard to maintain the community. They read all messages but may not respond to everything. Do not ping or message them without permission.

  2. Constructive Feedback:
    Feedback is welcome—positive or negative—as long as it’s constructive. Avoid rudeness, harassment, or disrespect towards developers, staff, or other members. Be thoughtful and provide constructive suggestions rather than emotional reactions.

  3. English Server (Unless Specified):
    Except where otherwise noted in language-specific channels, this is an English-speaking server. To choose a language, visit #lfg-language.

  4. Check Pinned Messages:
    Each channel may have additional rules or guidelines in pinned messages. Please review these before posting.

  5. Respect Your Fellow Avian:
    Treat everyone with kindness and respect.

  6. Appropriate Profile Content:
    Your profile (nickname, picture, banner, and 'About Me') must not contain offensive, abusive, or inappropriate content. This includes personal attacks, hate speech, NSFW material, or political/religious themes. Admins may rename profiles or remove members if necessary.

  7. No Spamming:
    Avoid excessive use of emojis, room codes, or repetitive content. Posting the same message in multiple channels is not allowed. Coordinated spamming by multiple users is prohibited.

  8. No Inappropriate Content or Discussions:
    Refrain from posting or discussing inappropriate topics, including verbal abuse, inflammatory remarks, or controversial subjects like politics and religion.

  9. Handle In-Game Disputes Appropriately:
    Avoid sharing inflammatory content about in-game issues. Use the in-game reporting system and lobby tools to address problems. Keep disputes out of the server.

  10. Avoid Misinformation:
    Do not share false, misleading, or manipulative information. If unsure about game mechanics or roles, ask for clarification.

  1. Keep it Family-Friendly:
    Avoid inappropriate or adult conversations. Remember, there may be younger members in the server.

  2. Posting Media and Links:
    Uploading videos or pictures is not allowed in general chatrooms. Links are restricted to #🔴︱promote-your-content and room code-related posts.

  3. No Personal Advertising:
    Do not advertise for personal gain, including Discord invites.

  4. Community Content Channel:
    #🔴︱promote-your-content is reserved for active community members who create or stream content related to Goose Goose Duck.

  5. No Mod Requests:
    Do not ask for moderator powers. Refer to #faq for more information.

  6. Spamming and ToS Violations:
    Spamming room codes in other servers or engaging in Discord ToS violations (e.g., threats, harassment, explicit content) is a bannable offense.

  7. No Soliciting Free Items or Money:
    Goose Goose Duck is free-to-play with regular updates. We welcome feedback on monetization but will not address requests to make non-gameplay items free. Additionally, do not ask other members for money or financial assistance of any kind.

Moderation

All behavior in the server must comply with Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

Community Managers and Moderators may take actions required at their discretion, including moderating messages, restricting community use and users detrimental to the discussion and community, and carrying out administrative actions without prior warning.
