If everybody knows almost everyone in the lobby is a dodo, why would any of them vote you out and cause themselves to lose?
Doesn’t one dodo have to die first before another one can be voted out to win?
Lover's Lane:
spawn in teams of two where one player is a Bodyguard lover and one player is a new duck role called the Necromancer [duck/lover].
The Necromancer Lover must "cremate" bodies to score a point for their team. The Bodyguard Lover must complete 2 tasks to score a point for their team.
in this mode, the Necromancer lover doesn't die immediately if their lover died. Instead, the Necromancer must cremate the body of their lover within several seconds or they will die. The Bodyguard Lover, however, WILL die immediately if the Necromancer is killed. Cremating bodies will reduce the game timer, but leave you vulnerable to attack for a few seconds. After two successful cremations, your partner returns to life by your side. The last team standing, or the team with the most points at the end, wins.
Vent mania- a very eVENTful gamemode where everyone can vent, and can place up to 3 usable vents
A gamemode with a different voting method that utilizes the concept of “Lottery Voting“.
The game chooses a random vote and goes with the outcome that it has voted for, meaning that outcomes will be up to chance and every additional vote for an outcome will increase it's odds of being selected by the game.
This might only work temporary for a day or two of April Fools'.

Blackout Mode. Complete darkness for all players except a small circle of light. Kinda like the lights sab but permanent.
This is achieveable in game right now, set the mode to classic and in the settings change the vision to 'very dark'
This is something that is currently achievable in the game to an extent but it feels like it could be its own gamemode
Hot Potato
Roles:
Demolitionist, vigilante x2, celebrity
Special rules:
No emergency meetings, no sabotages
Play:
The demolitionist has a low bomb cooldown & has to make sure his own bomb doesn't get given back to him, the vigilantes gets one guess each as to who it is & if the celebrity dies the demo wins
How to do it currently:
Classic mode, add the demo, vig & sheriff, turn the kill cd down, sab & meeting up, and make sure everyone knows what is happening

Doppelganger Duck
A Duck, similar to Astral Goose, but instead of a spirit, it sends a holographic copy of itself that dies whenever another player uses their ability on it, or the Doppelganger Duck is downed or killed.
Pretty much, I was thinking of a Rainbow 6 Siege Iana, used to scout info or distract opponents.
Imagine 3 Doppelgangers in a team all standing next to their copy, not moving.
Any opposing teams that come across them would basically have to guess which was the fake and which was the real. Attack the wrong one and you're on cooldown, unable to defend while the Doppelganger is free to attack

This is mostly Dine and Dash. There's a vulture and a falcon, and everyone else is a morphling. Ducks have to find the blue team, but friendly fire is on.
I've never played dine & dash
You should try it once. It's a little chaotic at first, but you're guaranteed a fun role.
There is an optimal way to play dnd, but it almost always devolves into a battle royale.
I dont now if there is this mode but i think an prop hunt would be good
prop hunt has been considered (i think) but so far none of the Maps have been perfect for the prop hunt game mode. I guess you'll have to wait.
i think you should add a game mode thats called (the woods monster) the point of the game mode there will be someone selected to be a monster and the rest of the players will be explorers if you’re an explorer u need to collect pages around the map and u need to collect batteries for ur flash light because there will be no light you only got your flashlight to see (its like among us when the electricity goes off) anyways and you need to collect 30 pages around the map, the map will be themed as a dark creepy forest, if you got the monster role you need to kill all the explorers before they collect the pages if the explorers collect all the pages the sun will come and the monster will go back to his cave, the monster can get blinded by the flash light he can only kill explorers from their back or he can use his other abilities and its shape shifting into the dead explorers,you can add anything on top if you want buts thats my idea and ty💕

Something like "Hanging Out" maybe? And there could be a special map just to hang out in, like a Lounge?
What if there was a battle Royale but everyone is a duck but not like fortnight
Or ( the forest monster ) your are in the woods with other people and one person is a monster in the woods and if they don’t make it out from the woods under 30 minutes then they get killed by the monster and there is a map somewhere in the woods
And there should be a monster kill animation

How to play :
Bomb order :
Like a draft , a number was giving to a player

In Draft , people want to be the number 1
In tic tack duck , be the number 1 is a bad thing because you can die quickly if you dont see someone )
If the hunter number 1 die whith the bomb , the second player shift into a hunter and have the bomb )
If the folowing number is already dead , the hunter will be the next player in the line
(If hunter number 1 kill number 3 and hunter number 2 die whith the bomb , the next hunter was number 4 )
At the end of the line , the line was repeted and start whith the first number who was still alive
Exemple :10 players , if hunter number 10 die , and 1 was still alive , 1 become the hunter but if 1 already die , 2 was the next hunter etc ....)
What to do as an hunter : you need to give the bomb to someone for be a runner but give fast or die )
What to do as an runner : you need to stay the last runner

Description: Prop Hunt but you are hunting for Goose's as props! Can you find them all? 👀
[ Roles ]
PROP GOOSE: Prop goose are hiders, they need to hide as props, of course there's going to be randomly generated props across all maps for better hiding spots!
GOOSE HUNTERS: Ducks will need to cooperate with other duck members so they can catch these props and win the match!!
Notes: Props only have 1 life, so it's very important that they pick a spot where they will never be found, closest/venting/ext is disabled in this gamemode for fair game ❤️
This gamemode can also be customized to your liking, such as how many hits it takes to kill props, up to 3 slice max! Or if you wanna be chaotic and fun, have 1 goose prop hide while everyone is goose hunter, but it's not recommended for public lobbies 🤣

It have to be a map designed for classic of course but maybe have a lot more items scattered around. On the ground, in the rooms. Picture hanging everywhere all sorts of just a Junky old messy map ahah.
Maybe the mode allowing you to go out of bounds of normal maps to become part of the map like a specific chair, computer, branch on the ground, the whole cabinet or wardrobe etc.
Maybe have a map exclusively to this game mode.

A zombie gamemode, so at the begining someone is chosen to be the zombie.But the geese dont know who the zombie is, but if a goose gets bitten by a zombie they well also turn into a zombie and they can see the zombies that were convertet, the geese have to vote out the main zombie in order to win or finish the tasks

in dine and dash, there's one vulture (and one falcon, if you have enough people), fighting against a lobby of ducks while a timer counts down in an attempt to survive. It's...about the same as what you're suggesting as far as i can see. So what would make this game mode different? There's normally no venting in other game modes, so what other special ability could the dodo have?

Not sure if this has already been posted but here's another idea:
A hot potato mode using the demo role, whereby the bomb count down is increased per same bird type handover (e.g. goose to goose pass) but decreased per different bird type handover (e.g. goose to duck pass) the last bird type standing wins for the team.
So e.g. add short duration (like +2 seconds to bomb countdown per same bird pass (goose-to-goose/duck-to-duck), but subtract -4 seconds per different bird pass (goose-to-duck/duck-to-goose). All this with the standard kill (stab) of killer birds and with tasks/sabos and voting disabled. The bird standing closest to the bird who just exploded gets a fresh bomb with fresh reset cooldown to keep the game going until the end, where only one bird is left standing.
Maybe also the option for a timed match (the team with the most birds still standing when timer runs out wins).
You could even maybe spice things up by keeping tasks and sabos enabled, so that for each task/sabo completed/activated, extra, bonus seconds are added to or subtracted from the cooldown depending on which bird type currently has the bomb and which bird type recently completed their task/sabo, so the timer is constantly changing in-real-time for team effort and thrill. (e.g. a goose currently holding the bomb get's extra bonus cooldown added if the geese manage to diffuse a duck's sabo or complete a task, else a duck currently holding the bomb get's extra cooldown subtracted if a goose difuses the sabo/ completes a task) and/ ofc vice versa (geese holding the bomb get extra countdown deducted if sabo isn't completed in time or a failed/cancelled task). The tasks/sabos can be limited and simple, easy ones to complete to make the game more fast paced and balanced.
Or, just have one bird type but all birds are split into teams of equal amount and complete tasks for their team bomb bonus countdowns.

Some hosts like to make a settings preset and have house rules like everyone has to stay in the meeting area

You might like Dine and Dash. Its a red team vs blue team timed game. Depending on how many players are in the lobby you have a falcon, vulture and morphling ducks.
If there isnt many players you'll have just a vulture with some morphling ducks. Its fun if you have people who arnt blood thirsty and just kill their fellow ducks.

Aside from the concept being socially taboo in many places, how do you envision this mode being enjoyable?

Hide and seek mode where there gooses can vent and hide in many places and a ducks tries to get them
Goose can hide in the same place for only 10sec or else they make a sound that is revealed to the ducks or they are kicked out of hiding spot they are in. 10seconds cooldown while in the hiding spot
Ducks can check a hiding place (vents, bushes ect) and if there is a goose he is revealed and pushed away from his hide place and the duck will be able to kill the goose.
30seconds cooldown
There can be a goose where his perk is being able to make noises for the ducks but in wrong hiding spots so it's more fun and the ducks can't find the goose as easily
Also you can add another thing for the goose which can be to named something like "speedster" where the goose gets the ability to run faster for a short duration so ducks can't get them so easily
And ofc goose can run and not just hide from the ducks
If ducks don't kill all gooses, Gooses win automatically

@lyric brook sounds interesting. It might be a little frustrating with the speed boost if you're found. But thinking about hiding in new hiding places would be fun.

Over all the game mode is just at a lil fast pace than the others with fun options different from the ones everyone used to already
Ig the main resources required for that is in the game already
There aren't a lot of hiding spots in a standard map, so other designated places would need to be created. However, Goosehunt as it currently functions can double quite well as a hide and seek type game.
how abt there is a spidergoose who tries to capture all the goose in his webs to win
that sounds pretty cool
What about corruption mode on Eagleton, instead monsters they turn into other alien like creatures.
The problem would having to remake the entire map for its night mode. Maybe it could just have some kind of darker overlay to indicate nighttime.
Whether the map gets a second mode or not, there would need to be assets drawn for the alien overlays.
Task Emergency
Basically, exactly as Classic, except every Goose has a countdown timer of 45 seconds. This timer resets at meetings, or when they complete a task. If the timer reaches 0, they die.
Add a little bit of frantic desperation for the Geese, while also giving the Ducks and Neutrals something that can potentially expose them; Geese might notice someone doesn't seem to be doing any tasks and become suspicious of them.

When I saw "task emergency", I was picturing critical sabs going off constantly. Could be fun, though: 60 seconds to fix the oxygen with the 3x3 grid puzzle, then run to the other side of the map to put out the fire. Maybe have two or three sabotages going at once.

Alchemist (duck) (corruption)
With corruption you can choose to generate one of these potions that you can give to yourself or your teammates but all potions share a cool down and are 3x longer then the kill button
Select n’ teleport: let’s you mark a place and teleport. Let you see your marked please on the map
Swoop: the ducks will know they have the swoop but once the codon has finished, it will happen passively after a kill, turning them invisible, but only after a kill
Time: will speed up the cool downs
this sounds OP so the corruption amount will be a lot depending on how many players
Kingmaker Mode
1 Goose is assigned the role of Kingmaker. The Kingmaker is a normal goose, but when they use their ability on someone, only that bird gets to vote in the next meeting. If the Kingmaker fails to make a selection, the meeting ends with an automatic skip.
When the kingmaker dies, a random goose is selected to become the new Kingmaker. This ability is added on top of their existing ability if they have one, requiring them to use the Kingmaker ability before their secondary ability is unlocked similar to how a Party Duck must use their party ability on someone first before they may use vents.
Who the current "king" is becomes public knowledge in the meeting, thus everyone knows their vote.
what happens if the king dies. Does the kingmaker get their ability refreshed?
I was playing some GGD and the settings on gave me an idea
BLACKOUT MODE This mode would be classic but everything is dark and everyone has flashlights they need to charge with batteries
Ducks would have infinite charge but in this gamemode you can turn off your flashlights so they don't get sussed out
There would also be some new Game Mode exclusive roles
like the master thief who can steal batteries from other players
they would be a duck
And There is the electrician goose who can give people batteries
and finnally the OWL
The owl must kill players then take them to their nest to win they need at least 3 people in their nest to win because the minimum player count is 5
Also the owl has night vission
if this becomes a mode maybe add a few more roles but for now i think this is good concept

Not including the battery charging, there is a game setting which can force players to have flashlight mode.
yes i am aware but this is unique spin on the idea where there is more gameplay variety.
It's interesting, certainly would make a good horror themed game mode.
I'm not sure how the flashlights would work though, because nobody else can see your flashlight vision with how the game currently works.
I like the idea of having batteries as pick-ups to charge your flashlight though.

Have fun in all out new game-mode Fright or Flight! This is goose vs duck phasmophobia mode. The geese write in their notebooks what they think the duck is based on their information. This is a halloween game-mode that will combine fun & scares to make people scream! The ducks all have limited vision(excluding wendigo)while also being invisible until they want to kill their victims. The ghoul is a soulless role that will initiate seyonces that bring back another ghoul to haunt a player. The wendigo is the only ghost with full vision. Poltergeist can interact with an object and get a menu on screen to throw it at the nearest target, just have to select one. The banshee can come out of vision on their screen but to the people they are invisible for 5 seconds. The ooni will have a new button that brings up a players fright bar. I forgot to mention geese have bars that when paranormal is happening around them, it goes up.
The geese roles are just randomly assigned objects that help you find out who the killer is. To use your items you complete a task with your item. Once all geese are dead, duck victory. If all living geese write down their answer, they can exit the game to see if they were right. If no players were right duck gets 40 coins if 1p right 30 coins 2p= 20 3 players=10 all 4=5 coins.
The duck sabotages are to cut out the lights darker than usual, to start a demon summon that if unfixed the demon will be summoned and act like mummy. The third and final sabotage is the door locking sabotage which locks the front door.
Ghosts cannot exit the house.
If geese are camping outside for 3 minutes they will be killed for not going in.
The max players is 5 and the minimum is 3
I actually really like this.
The geese and ducks in Blackout mode just have the same goals as the main game but the geese also need to turn on the lights after they get their tasks done but if the ducks are voted out they just win like usual.
also the people would be able to see your flashlights
I was thinking of some kind of a VIP mode called Guard the Mother Goose.
Basically, it would be a team of geese, who all know who the mother goose is against a smaller team of ducks attempting to identify who the mother goose is. The catch is that periodically, the mother goose lays eggs, giving the ducks a trail to follow. Each of the ducks can call a meeting, where they can discuss who they think the mother goose is and each duck is allowed 1 attempt to assassinate the mother goose. The geese win if the clock runs out or if the ducks run out of guesses. There could be some different roles enabled for both teams, but some could be swapped around like the geese team getting more sneaky roles like a morphling or an undertaker to move the eggs around and the ducks getting more investigative roles like the stalker or birdwatcher. Who knows, maybe there could even be a dodo thrown in that can win if the ducks guess them.
like a more advanced complicated version of body guard and hitman made into a gamemode
Yeah kind of, except its more of an emphasis on observing and deducting who can’t be the mother goose, while the geese attempt to mislead the ducks

Maybe the parrot is the role of an imposter. he can put marks on people, and during the voting these people, against their will, vote for the person you vote for. The maximum number of "hypnotized" is 2.

We have! It's a fun idea that we might visit in the future. At the moment, however, none of the maps are procedurally generated. As such, tables and other map objects are static, and experienced players would notice anything amiss. A prop-hunt style game mode would probably require a whole new map, with other additional programming to make it work.

I am not sure if it's possible.
But, we'd love to be able to select Vulture and Pelican once again in selection.
The current group that I am playing with enjoy both roles, but doesnt really like draft.
Sadly, due to last few updates, you can only select one or another, instead of keeping it to random chance.
Like, without changing the settings:
1st game could be with pelican, second would be with vulture without pelican. That way possibility of chance for any of these roles stays 😦

geese HAVE to complete tasks to win the zombies can now infect other players and it takes untill a meeting is called before infected players become zombies however if every one at the end is a zombie everyone looses and a message will pop up reading The infection wins

Probably wouldn't be feasible for that many players in a game. Many mobile devices and internet connections already have trouble with 16 players! Interesting idea though

you see there are several servers of groups of people whom always play together. i pack a room every night with roughly the same awesome folks (all 18+mic's). whom are also in my discord server. we would love to battle other servers in a tournament or something. perhaps a larger tournament map. for a limited time or once a year. CHICKENMANIA I. i would pay an Entry fee to get my team in this Tourny even.

Thats what I mean, a counter. Timer like in goosehunt. We don't want players sitting in the vents while the duck is just looking around everywhere. You'd be surprised at how many people would do that just to troll

Gamemode: Duck Duck Goose (Idk how to name this one)
Three to four geese are present in a mix of ducks, along with a Dodo bird. Ducks can only kill a combined 1 player per round (The game will alert someone when a player has been killed). In order for the ducks to win, they need to vote out all geese while avoiding voting out the Dodo bird, while the geese need to complete all 10 of their tasks or outlive the ducks. Every two tasks, a special meeting is called where a random duck will be voted out (similar to sacrifice meetings). Ducks can call meetings with the meeting button.

There’s always one bomb with a timer that scales according to map size and player amount, if you have the bomb you will get semi regular pings about where other players are, if you have the bomb you can vent. Whoever has the bomb when the timer runs out explodes and a new bomb is randomly allocated. Last person standing wins
It would be nice to have a combination of Classic and Draft, where the host chooses the role pool like in classic, and then players are randomly assigned a number and take turns choosing their role from that pool like in Draft (selecting from 3 options). Also same concept for corruption mode.

Mode: Hunt or be hunted
All players start the game as geese. They will have 15s to find a hiding spot or do tasks (Maybe 2 or 3 tasks). The first player to complete their tasks will receive a hint of a knife that will spawn at a random location on the map (A red circle on the minimap). And after 15s there will be a 5s countdown before a knife spawns. Once the knife has spawned, all players have 30s to find it. If no one finds it, it will be given to a random player. The first player to pick up the knife activates the 'Goosehunt' and becomes a duck (Gains speed boost like the duck in Goosehunt and can vent/hide). They will have 30s to kill a goose then return to a normal goose, otherwise they will die. After they kill a goose or die themselves, the 5s countdown resumes and the game continues until only one player remains alive.
Notes:
There are 4 time phases in total: 15s warm up - 5s before the knife spawns - 30s to find the knife - 30s for 'Goosehunt' - 5s etc (If a phase suddenly ends, it will move to the next phase immediately)
You can do tasks at any time, even during 'Goosehunt'. And tasks do not accumulate, they will be reset when 'Goosehunt' starts.
If a player has completed the tasks or picked up the knife, there will be a message sent to them and all other players:
'You are the first to complete the tasks, look at the minimap for a hint on the knife's location.'
'You've picked up the knife, kill someone or die!'
'Someone has completed the tasks, find the knife or hide!'
'Someone has picked up the knife, hide or die!'
P/S: Aggressively looking for a knife to kill other players or cautiously finding a hiding spot to ensure your own safety? That depends on your playing style. Don't worry about long tasks or short tasks because sometimes you can pick up the knife thanks to luck. And having a knife is not the only way to win, you can also win when you have a good hiding spot.

Gamemode: goose chase
This gamemode has one goose that is hunted down by the ducks for a bonus. there are only 1-3 ducks depending on the number of people. Everyone knows what goose is getting hunted down and other goose can come back except for the goose that is getting hunted.
To win ducks have to kill all of the targets by there kill and the gooses have to win by eliminating the ducks. There are no roles except for goose and duck.
Randomizer
- This gamemode is like classic, but EVERYONE cannot see what their role is.
- They need to figure out what it is.
- At a meeting, the first person that guesses their role gets 1st place.
- Then 2nd, then 3rd and so on so fourth.

Ugly Ducklings: a battle royale mode. At the beginning, players need to do quests to get kills. When you successfully kill someone, you will randomly grow into a black swan or white swan.
The black swans can become invisible, but walking will disable it. The white swans have a shield that cooldown after blocked killing.
When only one third of the player remains, everyone will grow into the swans and get permanent kills.
Ngl that's a good game mode
would love the opportunity to truly personalize game mode- exp- a full lobby with half pelicans and half sheriffs.

what if there was a gamemode where you can go to random maps and maybe two maps from as one is that a good idea?
I think you should do a capture the flag game where we're split into two teams that can be randomized, to capture the other teams flag.
You could add in other options in the start of the game where people could pick roles like
Flag snatcher: runs and attempts to get the flag.
A form of bodyguard for the flag ECT.
And if possible add the option to take back your teams flag if a opponent team player is running by you before a "safe zone" where they would get the point for the flag
Then like a point system like first to 3 wins or options for longer games for bigger lobby's just add more captures.

Corruption Mode: Basement (Imagined)
Map mechanism:

Duck Extraction: Five geese start on a ducky boat traveling to a random map. Throughout the map, there are generators that need to be turned on to get to the main objective- the golden egg. Thing is, there’s a duck that spawns 30 seconds after the geese that tries to kill all the geese. The duck can see all generator locations and can sabotage generators for 30 seconds. The duck can also see if a goose is trying to fix a generator.
When the geese get the golden egg, they have to make a run back to the duct boat without getting caught.



Death trap: the way it works is there’s one duck and 5 or more geese the duck starts in a hallway and there’s traps he can activate by interacting with traps he’s objective is to kill all the geese with the traps. The geese have to make it to the meeting button to vote out the duck when they hit the button the duck is automatically voted out.
this might have been suggested before, but a game mode where every goose is a sheriff. meetings can be called and bodies can be reported (to exchange information) but all votes automatically skip. all sabotages are unlocked at the start of the game, to prevent geese from just camping on sabotages, but the cooldowns are much longer. the game normally only ends if all geese are dead, because a single sheriff is still capable of killing all living ducks and neutrals around them. if neutrals like falcon or pelican are in the game, then hunt time still works like usual. if only three players are left, to prevent the game from going on for too long, the playable/safe area decreases in size, just like tastes like chicken. all ducks that have powers concerning votes, and the dodo, are of course deactivated in this mode. a possible optional mode feature
is task quota: for every certain interval, a number of tasks must be done that depends on the number of remaining geese at the start of the interval. this forces geese to move and of course do tasks, unlike in draft where tasks are pretty much inconsequential. if the task quota isn't met, then slaughter time activates. during slaughter time, someone must die in order to stop it. if no one dies and slaughter time counts down to zero, a random bird (any role) gets killed. meetings cannot be called during slaughter time. slaughter time and falcon/peli hunt can occur together.

I want this game mode to be called death & trouble everyone is a duck and have to kill everyone to win and the there is a role that trolls the duck's the jocker he/she can kill and the duck's can't kill him but there is a way to make him on your side you've gotta give him/her a jester hat it spawns every 5 minutes and when you give it to them it makes them help you

The duck will prepare a sabotage and the geese have to guess who did it, the duck cant kill anyone by normal kill, they can only sabotage, and the geese can only win by voting the duck out. To make the game harder for the duck, the sabotage can only affect certain people.
PS: the duck can also be killed during meetings

Duck
This game mode is kinda like clue.
At the start of the game, one person is selected as the master. The master decides who is the killer, what weapon they used, and where it is. Then all the other people(10 people max) are each given a egg that tells a clue(like the clue cards in the game). Every time a person does like 5-10 tasks, they get a one time use alliblte( sorry for the bad spelling) that allows them to take a egg from a other person. Whoever gets a correct guess first wins the game. but, there will be a 5-10 minute timer. If this timer goes down to 0, the master wins. The master has a hand full of allibltes(sorry for the bad spelling again) to help stop the players.
First alliblte, scramble. This swaps all of the players egg around and drops a few around the map.
Second alliblte, trap. This places a hidden trap that, when touched, makes the player controls messed up for 30 seconds. If nobody touches it in 1 minute, it will despawn.
Final alliblte, splat. This targets a random person and removes 2 egg from them.
Extra rules:
#1. If a player guessed incorrectly, most of their eggs disappear.
#2. All players will have one final guess if the timer runs out. If a player guesses correctly, then it’s a draw.
#3. The master is kinda like a specktaker(I don’t know how to spell it but I think you can figure it out). He flies around and can see everyone, but nobody can see him.
Extra role(s)
#1, the tricker. He has a fake egg that is incorrect and will always be taken if someone tries to take a egg from him.
#2, the killer. Whoever the master makes the killer, he will get a special role.this role allows him to kill a player once it reaches half the time remaining.

What about Snipe Hunt? A player is made the Snipe during the game. The goal is to survive by hiding and going invisible (if standing still in the open). The Snipe will respawn as many times for any other player (or team) to score a certain amount of Snipe kills before a timer ends. Everyone is limited to one bullet per Snipe spawn, killing another player will result in the player being disarmed until the Snipe is killed.
While no arrows would be available to track the Snipe, players can use a limited scan to see if the Snipe is within a certain distance. The Snipe, if they successfully survive for say, 5 minutes or 10 minutes without being killed once, will win. However the timer restarts when the Snipe is killed. Hiding in vents or travelling via vents is allowed but timed with a cool down. Same with turning invisible and hiding in objects. Everyone will know who the Snipe is at the start of the game but will be frozen in place up to 30 seconds to give the Snipe time to hide or run.
Death in the dark
All players can choose between flashlight (just like regular flashlight mode) lantern (gives you lower vision, but it lights up your surroundings) and night vision goggles (makes it so that you can see everything but gives you a green hue and has terrible battery life making it so that you have to recharge it a lot) they can choose between them in meetings
Werewolf (duck) (for corruption)
If you collect enough corruption before night falls, your werewolf curse swap your demon form to a werewolf for for only that night, you’re abilities are enhanced as a werewolf

Neutral Birds Team
This modificator would be in the settings of the game that obviesly the host only can access and the things are these:
1º Every neutral birds work as a new team if this modifier is activated
2º The way that they win is if one neutral bird win with their gole rol meaning that if a dodo bird is kicked, falcon kills or pelican "eats" every goose and duck or stays alive when there is only 2 players alive that are geese or duck, pigeon infects or Raven corrupts every geese and duck, vulture eats the bodys that has to eat they win
3ºIf the** geese team** wins a round they win 500 xp and if they are alive 650 xp
4º With the modifier the neutral birds know each other and roles (pigeon = orange name, vulture = blue name, falcon = cyan name, dodo birds = yellow, pelican = lime, raven = black)
5º Dodo duel can kill each other when tasks are all done

It would be interesting if such a mode as "Creative Studio" appeared. In it, players would be able to make their own maps and their own settings. For example: A player can take a timer and set it and at the end of the timer do some action. It would be interesting if the players would create their own maps with their own mode. Also, the cards cannot be published, but only play your own, which you have built (since due to public maps, the game may lose its meaning).

I want to propose an idea about the role of Sheriff, look I think it is possible to give this role the possibility of 1 shot, namely to hit the Assassin no one else, if guessed Sheriff remains alive but dies Assassin, if missed dies Sheriff, but the victim of the shot remains alive if peaceful or not Assassin
Combine mode: every person gets a choice between 2 sets of 4 roles like in draft, everyone who picks the 2 roles gets them combined in a way, for example a player could have identity thief and professional (meaning that they transform into their most recent victim and the body is invisible) or if a role combo has 2 different abilities (for example sheriff and vigilante) a small icon near the kill button will distinguish which type of kill it is (vigilante kill or sherif kill) no neutrals btw ( to keep things a lot more simple)
masquerade party - this is a no mic only gamemode, the gimmick is that when you kill someone, you will transform to that person. This will not check class or the team of the player (if it's goose, duck or neutral). If someone kills a already transformed person, they will transform to how the person looks. The body left behind will be of the og you. You may transform more than one time

Some players (maximumly 3) will become Mimic goose
while others become ducks (except Spy Duck).
The ducks win if they kill or vote out all the Mimic
The geese win if all the Ducks are dead or they finish their tasks. Mimic can realize each other (like Ducks in normal modes)
Mimic can kill, vent, sabotage critically or go into fog like other Ducks in this mode. Ducks can kill their teammates but Mimic can't.
Only critical sabotages available (like sacrificial bell or feed something), some of them leads to Mimic victory.
Roast Dinner:
In this gamemode everyone immedietly knows who the duck is.
Goose: Finish duties before duck can kill them, if duties are finished one random goose gets a kill button and has 60 secs to kill the duck

and is able to drag alive goose, his goal is to put the goose in to ovens randomly placed around the map and put the roast dinner on a table ( 2 bodies per table) his cooldown is 20 secs longer to be equal ( about a 40 sec cooldown)

In this game mode, the game will start with player having no role, you need find your role through the map, like a circle with a question mark on it, when you walk to it and use it, you will gain a random role, could be pelican or duck or just goose, also if you are late to find a roles, you could get killed by the duck who find his role more early than you, like battle royale.
The Last Supper:
A flock of bird-eating ducks is mixed with pelicans and vultures, and 10 seconds after the pelican swallows a player, the player will be digested
The pelicans, vultures, and bird-eaters have to kill the pelicans and vultures hiding among the ducks, the pelicans have to survive until the countdown ends, and the vultures have to eat 1/3 of the dead birds to win
(Vultures and pelicans know each other, but are not on the same side)

The spy team must kill the other team before the one of the 4 teams wins. The 2nd team is a Pelican

who can kill faster and drag bodies at fast speed. If a team completes all of their tasks, they successfully win the game.

Team Blue: Vulture 
This team must eat 8 corpses to win, shoot the 2 teams to win, or finish their duties.
Team Yellow: Identity Thief 
This team has a shapeshift button who can shapeshift anyone they want, They can call in airdrops to give them health, But has no tasks, So their only objective is to Shapeshift someone from the other team and shoot them
Team Green: Sin Eater 
If they kill 3 people in a round without a break after 2 minutes, they can survive, They have tasks to do, if they do enough tasks, they can survive. Objective: Shoot the other 2 teams and don’t get killed.
Also, if they gain enough points each 5 rounds or less, they earn a victory with the team that won.
If you complete a task, you regain +5 bullets.
(Note: If the Identity Thief kills someone, they regain +3 bullets)

Adventurer : You cannot be killed with Duck abilities.
Astral: You can now see color in form.
Avenger: You are able to get the avenger kill from areas behind walls inside your vision. The timer is longer.
Birdwatcher: Has a wider cone.
Bodyguard: If your target lives, you get the bonus.
Canadian: Your body can now be self-reported with bombs or other ducklike abilities.
Celebrity: Everyone knows what role killed you and where you died at.
Detective: Checks for if the player has killed before in the game. Cooldown increase.
Engineer: Time in vent increase. Can now see when sabotages have been unlocked.
Fortune Teller: If anyone reports a body, you will see the possible killers.
Gravy: Tasks now give double the money. Money bag is visible to Falcon and Pelican.
Lobbyist: Votes now stack.
Locksmith: You are now able to unlock locked doors from sabotage.
Lovers: If you are near eachother, you cannot die to Pelicans or Falcons.

Sin-Eater: Getting enough votes allows you to explode an area at the cost of your own life.
Dodo: Has 2 votes.
Dueling Dodo: If one is voted before the other, they both win together.
Pelican/Falcon: Faster during their timers.
Pigeon Infections carry over meetings with a long cooldown. After infecting everyone, the Pigeon becomes a Crow and has to kill everyone before their timer ends.
Vulture: Moves faster when someone is dead.

Please make it a running mode.
I don't know if anyone has recommended it, but I think it would be really cool if there was a blind draft setting (i.e. everyone can select their roles, but no one knows which roles were selected). It would be like the perfect blend of classic and draft. Bans would still be visible, but not selected roles.

Survivalist: Bush ability can be use more often, you can always use the bush ability.
Cupid: Player slap cooldown is shortened. Can pair faster.
Camo: Whenever you use your ability, for a short period of time, players can only see you from a distance. Speed increase upon activation.
Sniper: Can shoot any player at any time. Can also shoot teammates with no mimic.
Spotter (BOT): Bot spotters will run around and use their scanner for ducks. Circle growth in radius.
Chicken (Neutral): You heal players to win. Reviving players means that they cannot speak, or vote anymore. After every non-duck is revived, You and your silent chicken army gain kill buttons. You cannot kill the chicken as a silent goose/neutral.
Mime: You can mime as many players as you want. You can also mime yourself.
Villager: Do tasks to gain a kill button.
Thrall: When this is turned on, any Neutrals/Ducks that die, will become a Thrall. Can only grab players legs. Players don’t die from 4 Thralls now.
Mummy: Transform into a slowed mummy. You can only kill in mummy form. Only sabotages are the Thrall-helping ones.
Vampire: A few seconds after biting someone, they become infected. They will know that they will die in 10 seconds. Calling a meeting won’t help. They will die in the meeting.
Owl You have to peck every living player 3x to unlock your Owl hunt. Low ability cooldown. Pecks only PARTIALLY last over meetings.

Striking Seabirds!
In this mode, The Pelican and the Seagull battle for who can eat the most people. Geese are able to have helping roles, but not killing roles. The geese will have a timer, if a single goose lives and the timer reaches 0, goose victory. The Pelican and the Seagull cannot eat eachother. They can do tasks to lower their “Devouring” cooldown.
Not bad
The seagulls should be in this game mode only because it's just the rip off of a pelican
And make it so when someone does 10 or 15 task they get the option to save one person from the pelican or the seagull stunning them for 6 seconds. (this won't work if you're the final goose)

Objective:

Control Points: Throughout the map, there are several Power Stations that Geese need to activate by standing on them for a short time. Once activated, the Power Stations stay captured unless a Duck sabotages or reclaims them.
Sabotage: Ducks can take control of captured Power Stations by pretending to be Geese or by sabotaging them, causing the Geese to lose points or be forced to recapture those stations.

Deception: Ducks are not revealed at the start, so every player is suspicious. Geese must be careful about who they trust, as any "teammate" could be a Duck in disguise.
Time Pressure: Both teams are working against the clock—Geese to capture enough points before time runs out, and Ducks to prevent Geese from reaching the score threshold by the end of the round.
Additional Features:
Limited Voting: Emergency meetings can be called to try and vote out suspected Ducks, but with limited opportunities to do so. This adds pressure to make correct deductions and avoid wasting meetings on innocent Geese.
Sabotage Tasks: Ducks can sabotage captured points or set traps, making it harder for Geese to recapture lost control points. These sabotages can also create temporary hazards like gas leaks or force the Geese to focus on repairing instead of capturing.

I would like to see a mode or map that people have no roles other than duck and geese, BUT the catch is: You can find or get items from all over the map, which means, you found a knife? you are a vigilante now, found a bomb? you are the bomber now, the items should be few, and sparsely scattered through the area so not everyone will have cool powers, also items shouldn't stack or it would be too op

It's an interesting idea, for sure. It reminds me of a Death Note themed social deduction game on Roblox where the Kiras are determined by a pre round minigame where you run around the map checking desks, bookshelves, trash cans, etc trying to find a Death Note and become Kira.

A gamemode for a traitor goose. The game starts but it's 1-3 ducks with 1 goose, and ONLY 1, who sides with the ducks and wins with the ducks
There will be a few changes for roles if they are the traitor to benefit themselves and/or the ducks...for example:
Sheriff: he can kill even if it's a goose(it's like a normal duck role but he can't vent)
Vigilante: can kill only once per meeting
Detective: once per meeting, can investigate a person and see their role but their cooldown is longer(30-50 I guess) and can only be used once per meeting(or game if balanced)
Engineer: can use the vents permanently
Birdwatcher: when watching through the walls, he can hear what the person through the walls said
Lobbyist: passively gain 1 vote checkmark to get a kill ready

Sounds very interesting, though I do think that if the falcon rush idea (or I guess the traitor rush) is used, I think everyone should get a gun this time. Otherwise you might get scenarios where none of remaining players are able to kill, resulting in everyone just kind of sitting around until time expires.
Though I do think I prefer the traitor getting a normal kill substituting their normal traitor ability more.

Hour Mode
This mode presents the combination of all the maps in the game, except for Black Swan, SS Mothergoose, and Nexus Colony. In this mode, the total player limit would range from 20 to 35, depending on your choice, with all the roles from the maps, along with some new roles, new systems, and the combination of all sabotages. Meetings would be organized as follows: if the body is reported, for example, on the Ancient Sands map, the meeting and the expulsion animation will be from Ancient Sands. The same applies to emergency meetings. Since 35 people wouldn't fit on the same voting page, a pagination system would be created for voting. The purpose of this mode is to last a long time, which is why it's called "Hour Mode".
Goose Roles:
- Macaw [Goose] – Has the ability to send messages from other players.
- Toucan [Goose] – Possesses the capability to see the last 5 seconds of the past.
- Swan [Goose] – Is able to remove all votes against them during a meeting.
- Guinea Fowl [Goose] – Can mark a player as "suspect," alerting nearby Geese about the suspicion.
Duck Roles:
- Eagle [Duck] – Allows the player to view a room on the map from anywhere for a short period, seeing who is present in it.
- Hawk [Duck] – Has the ability to capture a living player and transport them anywhere.
- Pheasant [Duck] – Can nullify the votes against them, as long as they don’t kill anyone during the round.
- Ostrich [Duck] – Can hide on the ground and attack for a brief moment, although this ability has a long cooldown.
Neutral Roles:
- Flamingo [Neutral] – Has the power to leave players dizzy, causing their screens to shake. If they can leave everyone dizzy, the Flamingo wins.
- Penguin [Neutral Assassin] – Able to hide in lakes or puddles, with the ability to kill.
- Hummingbird [Neutral Assassin] – Can move instantly between rooms but has a long cooldown for this action. Also has the ability to kill.
- Seagull [Neutral] – Has the capacity to steal tasks from other players; by completing 5 stolen tasks, the Seagull is victorious.

Falcon hunt is disabled and the only role available is falcon.
Pandora
A neutral role has joined the duck faction and if their win condition is met then the ducks also win
Follows a similar format of role selection to draft mode except for the following changes:
-Only 1 neutral will spawn on the role list and will be on the same faction as the ducks taking up one of those duck faction member slots
Meaning there will be no true neutrals and at most will be 2 ducks and 1 neutral on the duck team at a time (or ig whatever the lobby settings are if it allows for a higher amount of duck roles)
-when a neutral is selected the exact role will always be revealed even if it was randomed allowing the geese for some counter play
For example if the geese know the neutral is a dodo they will likely try to avoid just to blindly follow people in pushing for someone to be voted out and encourage the sheriff to shoot them instead as it could be the ducks trying to vote out their own dodo
Regarding neutral specific changes:
The ability cooldowns of most neutrals will be greatly increased to bring them more in line with the other ducks in power level and for vulture making more bodies required to consume increased or the dodo needing to do some tasks first as if they were a duelling dodo to make their special win conditions harder to meet overall

Idea for The Lounge - A Party game mode.
It'd be a series of tiny minigames that accommodate the size of The Lounge.
The winner will have some sort of effect applied to their appearance or their voice (i.e. rainbowing color effect on goose's color, party/hexafluoride voice, goose is larger) for the duration of the next game.
Players can vote one of three options for the next game in-between minigames.
Some ideas for minigames are Pigeon Party in which everyone is Pigeon and first to sneeze on everyone wins.
Bird Food in which during a two minute time limit, three pieces of candy at a time are scattered throughout the map, once one is collected, another respawns, until two minutes elapse. Winner is who has collected the most. Goose marginally grows in appearance as they eat, but they retain the same collision box so their size doesn't affect gameplay.
Last Man Not Standing in which "killing" a player freezes them. All players can do this, including those who are petrified. Winner = see title.
Tastes Like Turkey, which is Tastes Like Chicken except the lobby is divided in half into two teams. Once a team wins, the losing team is eliminated and the winning team is divided in half with those on its team who were killed back alive. Rinse and repeat until two teams of one player remains, in which case, the player with the most kills and least deaths wins.
Hot Potato in which a random player is randomly given a 10-second Demo bomb which can manually be passed to another player after two seconds. After first splosion, TLC-esque "zone" gradually encloses into one of the rooms which ordinarily are behind a closeable door.
Golf With The Fowl, in which a hole is placed at a random spot. Players take turns trying to find the hole, shooting the ball. Winner makes it in.
I totally understand that something like this would be a HUGE workload developmentally, but it would fit the framework of GGD as well as The Lounge itself nicely and GREATLY separate GGD from games like it.

Ducks: 1, 2, or more ducks need to find the geese to win

Investigators:
Geese have to take pictures and prove that the duck is the killer, and needs to gather 20 pictures for proof. Has a camara power, or you can just find pictures and evidence to end the game, Blah blah blah
Duck: Has to catch all of them before they find all the evidence, can place traps around the map
Pelican party:
there’s one pelican trying to eat everyone, meetings don’t kill people in the pelican’s stomach, and the kill cooldown is forced to be 10

A potential setting for Draft Mode to give some interesting control to the players low on the list, encourging them to stay, as well as potentially making the role list a bit more dynamic.
When the toggle is on, the host will be unable to disable specific roles. Instead, when the draft positions are dealt out, the bottom X players (Number of players/3, exactly the same number as vulture needs bodies to win), starting with last place, will be given 3 role options. Not to pick, but to ban. For example, in a full 16 player game, player 16 will choose a role to ban, then player 15, and so on until player 11. After player 11 bans, the draft starts as normal going down the list.

That sounds like a combination of Dine & Dash and Trick or Treat. On one hand it'd be cool if the ducks in those modes had the ability to hit others with helium, but on the other, it'd be ostensibly easier to vindicate the ones who have been hit with helium. Still a fun idea. 😄

The players can be the hiders and one seeker the players can morph into objects around the map so it could be pretty fun for people it’s a pretty good game mode for people. I don’t know if it’s already added or not the seeker has 10 minutes to find all the hiders if the time runs out the hiders win if the seeker finds all the hiders then the seeker wins

The ducks upgrades don’t have a duration but the geese and neutrals have durations to their power ups and each possible role that can be killed by a duck gives a different upgrade and probably the rarity of the upgrades would become more valuable the closer to the last 3 they are if a pelican is in the top 5 left when They are killed their the hearing range upgrade given by the pelican instead of 50 percent range boost to a 150 percent range boost so it would encourage ducks to let some live for longer for a bigger advantage later on

A new game mode for fun games aside the normal social deduction!
- The clown has to clown everyone with two balloons.
- Get enough to win(ie 7 players then clown 5) and call a meeting so they all pop.
- Geese are to do tasks and task win before the Clown can do so.

It would show as Custom with the name it’s saved as beneath it. Similar to hang outs.
Your able to disable any number of roles. Allow duplicate roles. And have any number of Ducks or Neutrals.
I would just like some more customisation so we can make our own game modes.
These count as roles but Killer Duck and Basic Goose would be good roles for extra customisation. If you where able to change the kill timer and all other ability times or let you disable them it would allow for so much more Custom made content. If you could share your game settings with other people it would allow for so many interesting ideas.
The clown idea for example is really good. I personally don’t think it needs a specific game mode. A Custom Game with those settings set up correctly would be good enough. Also having like an in game List of Custom settings that people can like and add to their saves to play for themselves would be awesome.
Goose-chess
Players are separated to 2 groups — white and black. Among each team there is one duck.
Everyone have 2 roles: one is simple (sheriff, vigilant, astral, assassin, esper...) and another is a chess role (king, queen, knight, bishop, rook, pawn) that indicates their movements.
The geese aim is to checkmate another team and to get rid of this team's duck. Everyone can capture a player of another team (kill without leaving a corpse) and check the enemy king. After they checkmate enemy team, they must also figure out a duck. Geese can also win by completing tasks (white and black geese together).
The duck aim is the chess victory of enemy team (a white duck wins with black geese and a black duck wins with white geese). Duck can also capture chess pieces of another team, but that's not beneficial. Besides, duck can kill members of its team (normal kill, with leaving a corpse). The body can be reported by this team, and then voting starts only for this team (another team can just watch without participating). A duck can't capture another duck but can betray it to geese of another team. Or the option "Blind ducks" should be used for this mode. Duck victory is possible if only 2 ducks and 2 kings remain, or by a critical sabotage.
King is always a goose, its role is gravy or celebrity. Can't be killed but can be checkmated. When there is a checkmate, all geese of checkmated king's team die (or blow up).
Assassin shoots like earlier, by selecting a simple role.
The game takes place on a map like a chess board, but bigger, with obstacles and task points. All players' moves are done according to chess squares and simultaneously. About 1—2 secs are given to choose the chess square, then the simultaneous move of all chess pieces occurs; if a player hasn't chosen the chess square, he/she misses the move.
Teams spawn at full strength on the opposite sides of the map.
Chess customization according to players' current chess roles would be also nice.

Battle Royal: All players are the Falcon or Pelican(Host can set which role will be assigned to players). The last one who survived alone is the winner.
*There is no Falcon/Pelican hunt.
*Maze in the Basement will be blocked.
*Sewer in the Eagleton Springa will be blocked.
*The 2nd floor of Library in The Mallad Manor will be blocked.
A mode that all player start with Goose/Duck having no abilities. When one player completes a specific amount (which verifies for balance) of tasks, they gain a random new role. Multiple roles with active skills can be switched with an unused key, passives are always on once they get the role.
- Neutral roles can be gain by some goose when they gain their first role. Once they gain the neutral role, they can only get neutral roles from then on. And there should be a limit of maximum neutral players.
- Another design is adding a new neutral role having no ability for this mode.
- Assassin may be a little too OP in late game. Can be rarer for random rolls.
- For Spy and Mortician, there may be some UI problem.

I think I'll just pop this here for anyone to see.
Freeze tag. Utilizing a new unique Duck role called, "The Pinguin".
Due to the nature of the game mode, it will probably be one or two Penguins on however many other Geese.
The Pinguin freezes geese in blocks of ice, and a timer starts for the frozen goose, you will need to be unfrozen before the timer reaches zero or you die. However the other geese won't know if you died or not, they will need to unfreeze you to find out, which should take a second to do.
Winning conditions:
Geese; Complete all tasks, or run down the clock.
Ducks; Freeze all Geese.
Not to mention that this game mode should be able to be played on any map (as far as I'm aware)

There should be a sitting ducks mode where we know who the duck is, but it’ll be like hoot and seek and prop hunt mixed together where the ducks hide from sheriffs or vigilantes and the ducks try and stall them with sabotages whilst surviving the sheriffs/vigilantes

-Literally, players receive combined role.
-Neutral roles don't combined.
-Two geese roles can be combined into one role. Two ducks roles also do the same thing.
-Strong roles cannot be combined. For example, Sheriff, Assassin, Professional, etc., cannot be combined.
-There is three groups of roles. First one is 'roles that don't have ability button', second one is 'roles that have ability button A(Space bar)', and the last one is 'roles that have ability button C(L-shift)'. Roles in the same group cannot be combined. Roles can only combined when their groups are different. So basically everyone is ducks and no one can report dead bodies and last person standing wins the game but no one can sabotage and it's only duck roles with no special roles
Think Tastes Like Chicken, but with actual social deduction.
Up to 4 teams with 3 geese and 1 duck on each team. They don’t know who their team members are from the start of the round. As tasks are completed by geese, a different member of the team gets a circle on their map to see where a teammate could be.
The ducks need to coordinate and find their teammates and eliminate who they think are not on their teams, while geese have to find each other and look out for enemy teams.
Meetings will still happen, but with every team being a minority, you need to be very careful with what you say, because other teams can gang up on a team that seems ahead.
This goes until one team is left or in the case all the ducks are out, a 1 minute countdown starts. At the end, whichever team completed the most tasks overall wins the tiebreaker.

(Finches = Neutral Role)
This game can be played in either draft or classic mode, but there will always be a Finch. The Finch has a cooldown of 2 to 3 minutes, depending on the number of birds in the game. The Finch acts like a pigeon and must try to infect everyone. When the Finch infects a goose or a duck (there are no other neutrals), that bird becomes a Finch and starts infecting others as well. When a meeting is called, the game will show how many birds are Finches, and the cooldown will not reset.
Winning Conditions:
• Goose: Complete all tasks or vote out all Finches and Ducks to win.
• Ducks: Eliminate all Geese and Finches to win.
• Finches: Infect everyone to win.

Hot Potato Mode, you can play this mode in the original game already, there is no killer role besides Demolitionist Active, there is no Neutral Role besides Dodo Bird. One Killer only, One Neutral only, and Geese roles like Scientist, Mortician, and other completely useless roles that do nothing. (No Geese Roles that can kill).
Now watch a game of Hot Potato happen across the map with the only way to go and win the game as Geese is to find out who is giving all these bombs to people and call a meeting to vote them out.

New Neutral Status: Peacock
The peacock has colorful feathers, and all the small birds and ducks envy its plumage.
Therefore, the peacock does not have the ability to actively attack others. What you need to do is to disguise yourself as much as possible so that the geese and ducks do not notice you.
The peacock can activate one skill in each round (except the first round):
Randomly obtain one ability of a deceased good person or the ability of a deceased duck, and then this ability will replace his skill for this round. The cooldown is 20 seconds. After replicating the ability, he will lose his own skill and enter a 20-second cooldown.
Note:
- The peacock cannot replicate the ability of a good person to use a knife.

The ducks are cops and need to take the geese to jail (a point on the map) and one guard needs to escort them to the jail if found (Use Undertakers drag ability). Geese that are caught are locked in the jail but they can escape if another goose comes to rescue them but the cops can be in the jail at anytime. Once the ducks their kill timer is up they can kill any goose in the jail but it might be unwise as then they can do their tasks (They can only kill geese in jail). Ducks win if they kill everybody/have all alive geese in jail. The geese win if they finish their tasks.

Goose Goose Duck – Hot Potato Mode (Idea)
One random player starts with the Hot Potato.
A global timer (about 1:30) begins and everyone runs.
The player holding the potato has it visible in their hand and must press a button on screen (mobile) or a key on keyboard (PC) to pass it to another player.
When the timer hits zero, the potato burns:
The holder is eliminated.
A big on-screen warning shows the burned Duck/Goose.
A new round starts with another random player.

Ill be honest, this raises more questions than answers for me, personally.

The thing is, each neutral role is named after a bird. I don't think Rooster can fit GGD as a name for a role. Ducks have goose costumes, but also other birds use these costumes to fit in.

Imagine a mode where it was neutral-only, and the neutrals must complete their objectives to win. For Pelican and Falcon they must kill eachother at the end; Crow, Raven, and Hawk have their own timers to kill everyone as well or else they die. Dueling Dodos could be excluded.
In Draft you can turn on/off an option to be a true Duck/Goose/Neutral, where you are chosen to be one of them and the options are only from that group, so its not that random and the last players could be good things because they were select to be it beforehand (but its just an option to turn on or off)

What if there was a gamemode that took place during the goose vs duck war
Goose Infiltration: All players (except 1-2) are ducks with the power to kill each other; the other player/s are geese. No one knows who the other is, and both factions have tasks to complete to win, outside of the ducks killing each other or the geese.
Capture The Flag: One team of geese and one team of ducks aim to capture the flag of the opposing team, you can climb up through ladders and go through vents to go down. You grab the flag by walking in the radius of it then you bring it back to your flag. This is a best of 3 gamemode timed 2 mins per round. Killing someone sends them back to their flag spawn point. (5 sec to respawn)

U should make a game mode where if u r offline or wanna practice u can play against bots just for fun aswell if u have no one to play with and u could play in any mode with it like draft and classic would work

- Flock o' Birds (New Gamemode)
Description: "The neutrals have made a truce ensuring that they would end up victorious against geese and ducks. All neutrals are now on the same faction and win when two of them achieve their respective goal or if only neutrals remain alive, ending the game. If they can't achieve any of their faction win conditions all neutrals will die after a short period."
Neutrals now know each other and work as a team w a few changes: - No more than 2 neutrals can vote for the same thing, let it be the same player or skipping
- All neutrals keep their respective win condition but they dont win until their faction wins
- If any neutral achieves their win condition, all players will be notified that they need one more to end the game
- Dueling dodos is banned, wouldnt be fun to have enemies between your faction would it?
- Trick or Treat Changes
The timer is now shorter but it no longer decreases in meetings. If theres less than 45s left or one villager remains, starts the monster hunt. In monster hunt no meetings can be called and sets the time to 45s if applicable. All monsters except the vampire & their thralls have been changed. - Mummy: Can now sabotage in any form but sabotages have longer cooldown, killing a player reduces it. Can now kill thralls when not in mummy form. Now always knows the location to dead thralls. BM now shows the locations of villagers to the mummy for a short period.
- Mummy's thralls: Now wounds villagers. Wounded villagers can't lynch, get slowed and if they are wounded while wounded by the same thrall they die. Wounds stack if wounded by different thralls. Thralls will know the location of the last villager they wounded until next round.
- Dr.Turducken's thralls: Now grabs villagers including Dr.Turducken. When killed, temporarily pings the killer.
- Dr.Turducken: Pinging thralls while they're grabbing will instead kill them. Can ping while grabbed. Pinging a player will also ping nearby villagers.

Sounds strange, doesn't it? In this mode, geese and ducks switch places (a few geese among most ducks). Ducks win if they get eliminate all geese, and thick if they complete all tasks or eliminate of all ducks. All ducks have the ability to kill, but they do not know who other ducks are, and must number them by deduction. Not all geese can kill, but geese roles are SIGNIFICANTLY busted. On the other hand, if ducks kill random players, task pool will fill up rapidly. You can also add a few special goose rolls. When number of geese and ducks becomes equal, a countdown begins, before end of which the geese need to complete all tasks or kill all ducks (if possible), otherwise the ducks will win. Ducks cannot sabotage, but geese can do special non-critical sabotage.
Examples of buffs include: Astral can see names of other players and can temporarily transform into a spirit to move through walls; Detective will be able to reveal the duck role at meeting if check; Avenger temporarily becomes invincible and hide their personality if a kill is committed in front of his eyes and can kill several players at once during a rage; Lucid Dreamer can complete an unlimited number of tasks during meetings and e.t.
New roles: PUNISHER. is essentially an assassin goose, but can kill an unlimited number of players and several at once during meetings. The main role to prevent the opening of roles. EAVESDROPPER. Among the goose there is a detective (maybe up to 3), Detectives can also kill, however if they kill a goose they both die, if they kill a duck a message appears saying that a duck has been found/killed by a detective
Goose and detectives know how many detectives are left, but not who they are, ducks do not know either
Detectives have limited "super votes" that make the person they voted get kicked regardless of other normal goose votes, (these super votes can be nullified by others detectives super voting another person or skipping ending in tie)(when a detective casts a super vote, the menu goes red, prompting other detectives to cancel it if they think there was not enough evidence to kick somone)
If all detectvies are dead or were voted out, goose can no longer report bodies (only being allowed to call an emergency meeting)

This could work, but the ducks do need something to do while the game is going on

Infection
at the start of the game goose spawn in the same place, a single duck appears in the opposite side of the map, goose know who is the duck, having to avoid it
The duck moves slower than a goose, so goose can outrun ducks. Goose and duck see where each other of the same team is in the map,
When a duck kills a goose, it instead becomes a duck, having to hunt down all other players
Tasks generate randomly over the course of the game, and are also simplified to make goose be able to complete them before a horde of duck kills them. The tasks are shared among all goose so if someone does a task they all get it.
Voting does not happen in this gamemode.
The ammount of players in each team gives them certain advantages and disadvantages: at the start of the game ducks move at 90% of the goose speed, the more duck there are, the slower they get (up to 30-40% goose speed so they have to plan ambushes on goose), the fewer goose there are, the faster they are able to complete tasks
Goose win if they complete a certain ammount of tasks, the game goes on even if there is a single goose remaining
Duck win if they kill all goose
This mode should be played in a map without dead ends tho, every room should have at least 2 entrances to avoid goose getting trapped with ni exit

This is a pretty cool idea, we’ve had similar thoughts. Not sure how the design team wants to implement, but this could be balanced

Maybe for this mode make ducks not able to sabotage, and give goose "counter-sabotage" the more tasks they complete, kinda like cod killstreaks, stuff like temporaily stunning all ducks in a radius, maybe even kill them so they have to wait a bit before respawning, UAV showing in real time all duck in the map, boost their speed, etc

Roulette game mode:
The duck role changes constantly, every time a meeting ends the game chooses a new duck/s, once a new duck has been chosen, the person that was previously a duck now has a bounty like bounty-hunters
Goose win by voting the duck in 1 round with practically 0 evidence, meaning wins by the ducks would be more common in this gamemode, as you cant really tell who was acting sus because even if they were duck next round they wont be or the other eay around
Some balance may be needed to make goose able to win more frequently in this mode, as duck can be way more agressive killing people with less chance of being found
Maybe ghosts can do more stuff?
@regal mango this is a pretty original idea, it will prob change the feeling of the game a lot tho (it will be more action based rather than deduction based)... also the ducks would not have much incentive to kill people as every time they go through a voting session they'll lose their duck role... but it's def a concept to consider

When the game starts there is 1 goose and everyone else are ducks.
The ducks have to find out who is the goose.
The goose has to hide doing tasks and more things needed for the goose to win.
If a duck kills another duck they die after 60 seconds, but if they kill the goose, they win.
This gamemode will make the goose try to pretend to be a duck without any of the special duck abilities.

Hm experimenting with voice chat is interesting! Could you elaborate more on how you think the gamemode would work though?
I haven't fully thought it out yet, but the Duck who has very very limited vision would go around saying "Marco", and the geese would reply "polo". Duck listens to responses and proximity chat (hopefully) leads them in the direction of a goose. Once the Duck is close enough, the goose is caught.
You would have to figure out some way to force players to reply to the "Marco" Otherwise someone could just ignore the calls and win the game.
It'd have to be on a much more simple map.
this is interesting as an idea, we could use voice processing and display a direction for other players along with spatial audio. It's a bit of a gimmick in that it could just as easily be a button, but people like gimmicks. 🤷♂️ Would be interesting to see this idea expanded upon to have a better use case in a game mode.
building on top of your idea, we could have an echo button the blind duck has (they could be like a bat in some sense) and they will get back their own audio feed from the goose nearby and, naturally, closest the goose, louder the echo, but yeah lots to experiment with vioce

Okay..... hear me out on this one.... 16 players is the perfect amount for a game of survivor or big brother....I know it’s not really in the spirit of the game, but you could easily make a few challenges with the tasks, hide some immunity idols or whatever. It would be great.

Co-Operative - A self-destruct timer has been initiated on the ship. Geese work together on a list of shared tasks. The timer ticks down at a rate equal to the number of outstanding tasks. New tasks will appear at a rate based on the number of Geese. After completing a task you're locked out from doing another task for 30 seconds and your goose gets tired (moves slow) during this time. Tasks spawn rates will increase as time goes on making the game more difficult. Sabotages will also appear from time to time. Survive as long as you can and earn silver and exclusive cosmetics.
We can also do predetermined weekly challenges for a pre-set number of players. Compete and win rewards.
Timer starts with 1000 and counts down. We can also put you head to head against another team. Their timer will be displayed on your team. Outlive them and win.
Idk what you would call this, but a goose found a bomb. The goose does not know what to do with the bomb so he goes to another goose. He gives the goose the bomb. This new goose does not know what to do with the bomb and so he gives it to a duck. The duck just wants a goose to die so he gives it to another goose and the chaos continues no matter the bird. This bomb was very much on a timer and the last avian standing will likely explode, but at least he exploded last. (Essentially it’s tag, but if you don’t tag someone within a certain time limit you explode and I couldn’t think of a clever name)
Hot potato?
I don't know if this is a game mode but it could be a role: A Demolitionist - Gives a bomb to a player, bomb has 30 second countdown timer - can't give it to the player who gave it to you - when it hits zero it blows up. Good and comedic way to kill in a stack as a duck.
Or better yet, the goose that gets the time bomb kills anyone in their line of sight radius when the bomb goes off... the goose however CAN NOT give the bomb to anyone.

i have an idea of where there is a goose that can auto fix the doings of the ducks by lights and other things make a goose be able to scan anyone per round that can see the roll of them as goose or duck or dodo and so on
Has a zombie mode been talked about before? Where the dead come back to life and assist the duck? I think it might be fun in fuller lobbies where there is one duck to start. We could add a role where there is a medic role that can fix that zombie duck if they are quick enough.
We do have an idea for a contagion or zombie mode.=)
We are also working on possible modes for fewer than 5 players
a rule where we can disable skip vote and the only way to coordinate skips is tie votes which allow ducks to throw those. If there are people who choose not to vote, they get a penalty for next meeting where they have +1 vote against them already. It'll be fun to see the chaos of forcing to vote

Duck hunt mode:
In this mode whenever the duck(s) kill someone, the body appears in the map of all goose, meetings are off but voting is constant, corpses are colorless
Constant voting:
under the map button there is a button that opens up the normal meeting button, but it can be opened and closed freely
The way this constant voting works is that every 30 seconds the person with most votes get thrown off instantly, there are a few rules though, people not voting are ignored, only the people that voted during those 30 seconds are counted, a player cannot be voted off with just 1 vote, votes are annonimous, only 1 duck can vote at a time (avoid multiple ducks to just eliminate players by voting random people)
The gameplay: ducks are vulnerable as killing reveals their possition, so they have to either play super cautiously to plan their kills and run off or be super agressive and not allow 2 people to find him at the same time to vote him out
Goose have to go in groups so when there is a dead body to be 2 or more people to vote the duck out instantly, as just 1 person cant do anything.
This game mode would be easy for the ducks in public matches, as no voice chat means goose have to be in groups all the time or they wont be able to vote the duck out if they find it, it would be easier for the goose in privates as a single goose can see the duck and run to other geese to tell them who to vote with proximity chat
This could be balanced by shorter kill cooldowns and faster duck speed in private so ducks can kill goose who found them before they can get to other goose

1 President/Goosident, 2 Assassin ducks, the rest are body guards. May want to have a special map, goose are to try and get from one place to another. Ducks try to kill. Body guards can stun a target with 45 second cool down. They can communicate across the map with other guards but not to goosident directly. So they can scout out the path ahead to relay to guards with goosident. Goose win if goosident gets to end. Ducks win if they kill goosident.
Prob would want a multi branching inter connected path kinda map.

Only living ducks win once goose is dead. And you cannot see if others are ducks (ie not able to know when you find the Goose)

Body Snatcher Hunt:
All Geese are Vigilantes, and the Ducks are Morphers that start disguised as one of the Geese. Spawn positions are random, and Ducks have no ability to speak in emergency meetings or be voted out until killing a Goose.
Morphers can change disguise only when they kill a Goose, producing no body and effectively replacing the killed player, The Duck must then attempt to blend in at emergency meetings and can attempt to get other players voted off.
If a Goose suspects someone of being a Morpher or even watches them change, then they can kill them outside of emergency meetings, due to being Vigilantes.
A traitor game mode. Ducks can chose a traitor every 180 seconds, they work for the ducks. They must get blame off ducks, even if it means killing yourself. All past traitors and current traitors win with ducks. Max 2 traitors in a 16 lobby
Cannibal Party, all ducks are cannibals and can eat as many corpses as they want

A possible colorblind setting for the wires task. The light green and yellow on the faded side in the weapons area look pretty similar and may generate confusion.
I know Thor was saying that they were going to bring colorblind options, can't remember if he said next patch or not
@toxic ocean sometimes clicking out of the tasks gives better color options but 2 devs are colorblind 🙂 hope this helps

A couple geese of the gaggle crew are colorblind. I am very colour kind, colorblind additions are coming next patch :) real soon

Cupid gamemode - This gamemode would have every person randomised with another player, if one of them dies then the other one would die with it.
Ducks VS Dodo - Half of the group are ducks and half of the group are dodo birds. The ducks are blind so they have to vote out and kill the right players so the dodo birds don't win
Duck Hunt - There is up to three Vig, a random number of ducks and gesse. The aim is for the vig to kill the ducks. The gesse can't report bodies but they can let the vig know who the ducks are. The ducks can only win if they kill the Vig or all of the geese.
zombie mode one goose is a zombie if he kills another goose they turn to zombie and all thier tasks are auto complete so if one person has all his tasks completed and the rest didn’t but they ded goose wins

How about a hot potato mode: so at the start there is a 2 minute timer and a random goose gets a potato and needs to catch another person to give that person the potato after the 2 minutes the person with the potato explodes and another person gets a new potato with less time to get rid of it. This goes on till there is only one man standing.

Drunk drunk goose. Movement keys are randomly assigned (might be space to go down and s to kill) vision ideally would be blurry for geese but not ducks. For extra hilarity movement keys change for ducks after the duck performs a kill

Duck duck goose. Complete opposite if goose goose duck. All geese are sheriffs and everyone is blind they have tasks to complete but they also need to kill the geese just not too soon.
I think itd just be funnier is space could be a movement key so risk of accidental kills but reversing would work
Geese vs ducks. Geese roles are disabled. Geese have a giant prompt at the top of their screen that says something like spin clockwise the ducks have to try to Crack the code before they get caught out for not knowing. The code changes everytime a meeting is called.
Team scavenger hunt.
Race to the Button (would probably need a different map for this idea) everyone starts in a random location, everyone has kill buttons, everyone respawns 10s or so after death at a new random start location, the first person to make it to and press the meeting button wins

I like this idea, each person gets one kill per game to start, until there is one duck standing, but with a count down to end game, and doing all task can refill the kill ability once.
