At the end of the day, everyone will have their opinions on roles. The devs read everything and take that into account along with actual game stats to determine whether adjustments are needed. The Esper Goose in its current form has a significant impact on the game while alive. While it may not be "fun" to some players, it is a detriment to the Ducks, who essentially have half their tools available until they kill the Esper. If they choose to hunt the Esper, they waste time allowing Geese to get tasks finished (or Pelican to eat them). If they choose not to, then they are significantly weakened by not having those abilities.

The cave lights up, whether the esper is alive or not.
What I haven't tested is whether Yee'ucky lights up (which apparently happens), because outside of sabotages, there's not a lot of reason to go there.
Those same glowing vines exist in Yee'ucky's cave too, so I would imagine they do the same

I saw that banners can be enabled and disabled on settings, but why the level of players no?
That is one of the questions the devs would have to answer I'm afraid. I know why levels were removed was because some people were trying to use that as a sort of meta game

To declutter the voting screen. A players level doesn't bring anything to the game. People requested the ability to be able to turn off cards and banners because they want a cleaner voting screen as the screen can get busy with 16 players
Not sure why it's a pity, if you're curious about someone's level you can see their level in the player list in settings
How about adding player's profiles to be viewed by everyone publicly in the lobby or on their friend list? It could display their card/banner and their level and their achievements. Maybe players could customize some info such as their favorite role and map

The problem with removing the skip button, is then you are pretty much guaranteeing someone gets voted out every round

Falcon and pelican are also optional roles.
I don't see a point to removing the skip button at all. Yes they are optional, but if you take away the skip button something has to be done if they are included

Well if you happen to have video of it you can open a ticket in #troubleshooting-and-bug-reports and provide it. Most likely you just didn't notice passing the Demo

In regards to the bomber, first, there is a 15 second delay from passing off the bomb and anyone knowing they have a bomb. Second, "across the map" can mean anything from literally opposite ends of the map, to a big difference from where you are to the target. This latter one can be attributed to just a lag in ping. If I'm misinterpreting anything here, please feel free to correct me.
It is not a set 15 seconds, the "fuse" before it starts ticking is a range of (I believe) 5-15 seconds

Assuming the RNG chooses the maximum 15 seconds, on some paths, that is more than enough time to get from one side of the map to the other

So I just bought the firefighter outfit and it got me thinking it would be amazing if say I unequipped my fart and instead of farting I shot out a little bit of white air from my fire extinguisher. I would personally like the muting and unmuting button visible at all times, on all platforms (including loading screens), so I at least know if I was muted or not.

The dead aren't going to be able to communicate with the living. The medium used to see the dead ghosts but this was too powerful as the ghosts know who the ducks are. It took away the deduction aspect of the game

No role has multiple powers
Venting and killing can be considered the most any role has, and thatās baked into what a vanilla duck can do. However, there wonāt be any roles with several powers in Classic +. Maybe in a different game mode. Part of this is a concern of the balance of enjoyment in the game, and making a role too cool, and by comparison everything else less enjoyable. Another consideration would be that we intend for the game to be on mobile as well as pc/mac. So if your role requires several buttons, that might barely work on PC, but adding a few buttons in addition to the use/report/ability/vent buttons makes the UI very difficult to navigate on mobile.

Ok I'll throw in an idea for a pirate ship: Some sort of sabotage that forces the boat to rock to one side, sliding everything to one side of the boat. Maybe anyone standing too close to the edge could get tossed overboard

Sounds like your streaming software can't use your mic if it is already in use. You can try opening the streaming software first, then opening GGD, and see if that works for you

When I use joystick control it's hard to move and it's small so if u add an option to make it bigger or customize the whole buttons it would be amazing
Controller support is being worked on
We will also look into ways we can implement controller UI for mobile. The main issue is how much space a bigger joystick UI would take up, even moving it in a few pixels could obscure important game information you would potentially see.

just thought of this while in a lobby, dont know if it was said before, but having an in game symbol for other players so that they could see if you are muted or deafened to make it easier and have less confusion
I don't think I've ever seen suggestion for an in game indication you are deafened.
I imagine it would be useful for streamers in the lobby and the people who play with them during meetings (because I know some streamers tend to deafen during meetings to talk to their chat)
I don't think it works so well for the mute button though, some players use the mute button to fake being silenced, others constantly toggle it for various reasons and some players don't like talking over mic so simply mute to avoid the issue. Showing that they are muted will alert everybody to the fact.
Maybe to message ur friends maybe not even full conversations just the simple hey/ invite me
they are planning to add more features to the friend system as the game gets updated
Absolutely, It would be a interesting addition if they added it as a option to have it on other maps. I know from the feedback I've heard, people much prefer it over falcon. I'm really interested to see what is planned for the future. I do think Pelican would be a great fit on Goose Chapel & Jungle, those would also mean probably the removal of Falcon or like we mentioned have it as a option to have either one but not both.
You guys should add a join button in friend list so players. Can join their friends game without inviting (for public lobbies)
We will be adding features to the friend list soon, there is other things we are working on first, as with joining without an invite I don't think we will go down that route, but we might allow requests to join, which they can respond to
That makes a lot more sense, especially if someone is streaming or in a private lobby that is invite only

Does this role fundamentally alter how the game is played?
If a role would fundamentally alter how the game is played at its core, it probably should be in a different game mode if it's interesting and fun enough of an idea. Lots of people often suggest roles that have the ability to resurrect the dead, or roles where players change teams. These ARE interesting ideas, they just break different facets of a game of social deduction. Resurrected players will have knowledge of who killed them, and if role reveal is on, will be able to see what everyone is. Instead of trying to force the square peg into a round hole by trying to make it so that these dead players canāt speak/see names/etc etc, just accept that role reveal is going to be a staple of most games, and that this would have to live in another game mode.

Steam and other platforms have limits on the number of achievements you can put up.
Steam is also only partially reflective of how many people have the achievements. It doesn't take into account those who downloaded the game from gaggle.fun directly, or any of the mobile platforms.
%idea a trading or transfer function where players can trade various materials for the items they need for crafting. i.e. Player 1 needs 10 goo a for hat and Player 2 needs 5 flowers for a stinger. They trade those items between themselves so they can craft them.

When it comes to Cosmetics it depends on how much it cost. For example if you want the least expensive hat which is 15 gold coins. I would roughly average that to 20-30 common material, 10-15 rare material, and 3-5 Epic material
i was referring to craftables, most cosmetics arent craftable
and the cosmetics that are craftable that can be opted to buy arent usually as cheap as 15 gold
The crafting system is getting revamped as the game goes along. This idea has been suggested a few times and the devs have said they may add something similar

I think Iād honestly be fairly annoyed having people request to join me. Itās up to the people from inside the lobby to invite people from outside with either the code system or the friends list.

I had an awful experience with a single player today, host kicked - then we had an unresponsive person...didn't want to wait 5 mins for them to get booted....but also didn't want the first person back in

As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.
If you find none of that explanation sufficient, as Herbert always says, today we are one day closer than yesterday.

This isn't a great solution, but I find that most people who cause problems won't try to come back after a few minutes. I don't know how long it was between Problem Player and Idle Player, but if it was a few minutes, it should've been safe to pardon all kicked players.
And, on the offchance the problem player did return, nothing is preventing you from kicking them out once again.
anytime we reposted or switched lobbies they rejoined. we did kick again, but it's annoying to do so, and with switching hosts didn't always keep up

We are working on an idle reconnect feature, this will mean that you may see an afk icon instead if they are not connected. But they will still be part of the game, it will then show the role at the end, but remove them when you are next in the lobby.
They will also be able to rejoin the game too, if they didn't get killed they will still be able to play like they were alive.
This has likely been suggested before, but how about a "role preference" system?
Similar to the host selecting available roles in the setting, players can individually select the roles they "like", "dislike" or "no preference". This wouldn't affect an individual's chance of getting a Goose/Duck at all, but would allow for players to get specific roles within those teams slightly more/less frequently (albeit in a minor way, and neither guaranteed nor never). All Neutral roles would be unaffected due to the nature of those roles, and Geese with the ability to kill (Vig, Sheriff, Avenger) would also be unaffected (since I imagine most players would "like" them regardless of their actual preferences) and would function as if "no preference" was selected.
Maybe something like the Draft idea in #polls ?
Being able to opt out could be nice for other modes if you like being a goose in goosehunt, for example

Like, I think the default volume is around 60-ish when players join a lobby whom you haven't played with before, but if there was a way for players to adjust that on their end, that'd be really nice
I mostly suggest this for the sake of streamers who play with their community, so they don't have random trolls joining the lobby shouting offensive things live on stream etc etc
This is talking from a streamer view, I think the deafen button solves this problem. If someone comes in yelling offensive things, hit the p button and kick. I don't think a default volume adjustment would solve the issue just an alternate to a already existing solution
I also suggested this around months ago as well, specially when the first stream incident that led to a streamer being banned for a day
Half the community hates the Birdwatcher and Mortician, even though their probably 2 of the strongest roles in the game.
I think its kind of necessary since having the general deafen means if someone is voice-trolling, the streamer wouldn't know because they won't hear the other players saying if there is such incident currently happening
And sometimes, by the time the streamer actually reacts and deafens everything in response, there's still enough said by the troll for them to report and have the stream face consequences
I think the adjustable default will be helpful if it becomes a feature, since some lobbies have their own moderators, and if somehow one new player enters the lobby, the streamer wouldn't hear it (because default set as 0%) but the mods will hear it (set at somewhere 1% to 100%) then the mod tells the lobby owner then kicks the offender
Apologies if any of this seems rude in any way, by the way. I guess the reason we're suddenly coming in here adamant about this suggestion is because it kinda just happened again to a stream we're both watching, and we don't want the streamer to face any more consequences for something out of their control
Ultimately, an individual's stream is that individual's responsibility. You can control this by limiting lobby code access to people you trust, or by muting the game audio on your stream during lobbies if unvetted people are joining (lobby time is a great time to run ads if you manually run ads!). The game options give you full control over your experience.
Once a code is released into the wild (either displayed on a stream or advertised in a public post) anyone and everyone can join

As a side note, in the Sound settings, there is a default "Player" volume that affects all player voice. This might be helpful in what you're looking for
unfortunately the default Player volume does in fact affect all player voices, which basically renders everyone on the lobby mostly muted and cannot be heard by the streamer and the stream

Yep. Not even from a streamer perspective, I wouldn't mind the default individual volumes being lower or something that could be customized. Some people join a lobby and 61 is a fine volume. But many join in and ARE SUPER LOUD and have to go down to 10 or lower to mesh with everyone else. I'd rather turn up a player I couldn't hear than to turn down someone who just blew out my eardrums 
Generally if you're a streamer, you know who you're inviting to your games.

If you do need to invite randos, you can always temporarily mute stream audio and check them first

I don't think it's much different from the shuttle/teleporter strategy on Nexus. Plus, there's no cooldown so the duck could immediately jump in after the geese.
Or, the duck could try camping at the portal for a bit if the geese keep hiding there.
It's a bit different. The NC teleporter always goes to the same place. The portal in TB takes you to one of the spawn points
Being able to remap/resize the buttons on mobile could be a nice QOL change.

The pelican has recently been changed so that if they eat someone with a bomb, the pelican dies and everyone inside is freed.
Idea for the lobby u could give someone leader so people who knows what to do can use it its ok when this gets added but just for private because people in public just would say give me the leader rank and than they activate like 2 ducks with 5 pelicans

Scrolled up a bit, didn't see it. Would be really cool to have a way to better organize friend list, like to see how long it's been since they've been on, especially. I'm a pretty active player and making new friends constantly, but if they're not on for over a month, I'd rather be able to know that and delete them so I can make room for more.

An option that locks the emergency button until you finish your tasks(only available with fake tasks).
Finally caught up on the developer update, noticed you wanted to give dead players something more to do besides just spectate or grind for materials.
What if some of the tasks has spectral versions, for example the chess board task could play actual ghost chess or the piano task let's you play ghost music (that only you hear)
Please add the feature to send a request to your friends to join their running game or while they are in a lobby because you have to wait until they invite you.
This is planned to come out as part of the QOL update

Would be a good idea to be able to purchase things from the store, but send them to another person's account as a gift.
Or purchase them yourself, but don't put the items into YOUR account, put them into a "gift basket section" or a "holding inventory area", which you can them pick from to either give to people in game, (good for give aways on stream), or just consume into your main account.

Ok he said he had 3 second cooldown on passing the bomb but the bomb was going off right as the meeting went off. He is thinking its a bug

That definitely sounds like a matter of latency then. You may sometimes notice this type of latency if you try to kill someone just as a meeting is called, and you heard the kill sound but the person isn't dead. Your client immediately responds to the kill button to make the sound but in the tiny bits of a second it took for your client to communicate to the server, a meeting got called.
%idea On the rare occasion a big lobby tries to play the cardgame in lounge, some ppl get left out bc its max 6 players. Since there r two tables (one for the cardgame n one for decor), I suggest having a second cardgame available on the other table. This isn't rlly needed atm tho since ppl don't play the cardgame as often, but as we get more minigames n ppl playing in the lounge, mayb this would b a nice addition to it

If it's a public game, report them in the middle of the game.
If it's a private game, the best suggestion is to mute them on the player tab and boot them afterwards.

If the player in question is the host themselves, you and everyone else bothered by their behavior should leave and form a lobby of like-minded individuals, with your own agreed upon rules. If no one else in the game agrees with you, you probably shouldn't be playing in that lobby anyways.

If you're referring to the message you quoted, it was discussed in some of the Developer updates on Twitch. The current system where you can gift gold to other players, is temporary. They'll eventually be changing it so you can gift your friends items, I believe. Would need to rewatch the dev logs to be sure (or someone who knows for sure could correct me)

I'm not sure if this is the right channel, but my idea is to update the friends list to include when you last played with each player (or at least when they were last active). Our friend list maxes out very quickly and it is hard to determine who to delete and would be easier to delete inactive players from our friends list to make room for active players.
That's not a bad idea. They are going to be updating the friend's list as time goes on with more features and function

As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.
If you find none of that explanation sufficient, as Herbert always says, today we are one day closer than yesterday.
Could private lobbies have an option to have an increased member count, higher than 16?
That would require them to revamp the voting screen (across all styles), increase the number of colors so that ppl can swap them out in the lobby, and it would make the game struggle even more on low end mobile devices.

Example: with my idea players could use a certain amount of coins (A high amount) to improve a role giving it a buff or an extra skill and maybe change the role name when it is buffed Example: The buffed hawk could turn a macaw. (I know it's a bad example)
All it takes is a buff player to roll it so that everyone on their server can use it. Because if only those who buffed used the improved version, everyone would know that beginners aren't using the role.
I mean that is an interesting idea, but I see it perhaps unbalancing the game.
This would mean that instead of you having to create new roles for a simple idea, you could just improve a role that already exists

The roles are designed to balance out the game and reworked when needed for that. I'd rather see new balanced roles put in than have a feature to shove a superpowered version of a current role into the game
This system would also require a rework of all current roles and future roles so that there are now 2 versions of the same role

I mean, how do YOU picture buffing a role would work? Outside of changing the probability of getting the role, there really isn't a good way to make them more powerful under all circumstances.
My idea would be a special kill animation you unlock from unlocking a higher tier. Something you can't just buy / craft in the shop easily

It's not that Gaggle can't do it, but console approval processes (particularly Sony) take an exceptionally long time. So a new update that might currently take 3-4 weeks might take 8-12 weeks instead.

Well, if people don't use that filter, it won't work anyway. But the option is there for all the languages which have translations, I believe.
The suggestion of changing the politicians votes has been made, but if it were to change, I'd make it so that the politician's vote counts for 1.5, thus winning in a tie that he's not the target of.
It would become more dangerous to vote for yourself with that power, though.
