In what way do you think it sucks? I played among us tons last year, even played it with there devs, but nothing changed for several months and it became stale. When i play this game there is constant updates to roles, maps, game modes. There is no preferred map for me and they all play decent. Every week i also see proposed ideas and devs that are taking on board what the community say which will make the game go from strength to strength. if you think something sucks then say and tell them your opinion why instead of one line!

We don't want to put barriers to people playing the game. Server rentals will segregate the community with a monetary condition. Creating a private lobby code is essentially creating a temporary private server. We encourage players to create their own communities with players they like to play with. We will likely add a friends list later to help people find one another 🙂
Also $20-$25 a month for a dedicated room code seems steep and we would rather have players put that $ towards a better gaming experience and not just a server code (which they can already create).
Managing the billing infrastructure would be more expensive than the value on return.

Pigeon role is fine how it is. You guys are doing pretty good from what I've seen. Although if you're asking for feedback (here), I'd have to say the pigeon role could do power with scaling based on lobby size, right now the only way to effectively win as pigeon seems to be to manage to survive to late game and infect the last 3-4 geese / ducks. Not that you can't win early, I've seen plenty of games won within the first 2 minutes, but those were mostly because people forgot the pigeon was turned on.

Hi, went to sleep, but keep in mind overall I love the game. Maybe it is unique to our lobby, but when the entire lobby of infects resets at any meeting, between bodies being found and geese hitting the meeting button to reset the timer for pigeon concerns, it has been almost impossible for us to get a pigeon victory. We have had a few close moments where only one or two people needed to be infected but never got there in the 10+ games we played yesterday.

The pigeon should be one of the more difficult roles to clinch a victory with. There is 1 pigeon : everyone else in the game and we're happy with the balance of them only winning 1/#of average players in game.
The goal of the pigeon is to make it more difficult for geese to group up. 🙂 Based on our observational; data we are happy with how difficult the pigeon is to win.

Yes and no. If you're in private lobbies, it's likely because you've met and friended up with someone in a public lobby. This makes it an expected friend request. Random friend request that you were not expecting is what anyone - especially kids as I've run into a number of them in public lobbies - should be auto rejecting on the spot. 9 times outta 10, the person is likely a bot or someone snatching your shiny information

So to have the most available knowledge, make sure you're checking which roles could be on while you're in the lobby with the question mark box. If Canadian is or could be in the game, all reports become suspicious of being a self-report. If Assassin is or could be in the game, don't admit your role, or try baiting the Assassin with a fake role.

Before the Professional and Assassin Ducks, it was very common for the Canadian to tell 2-3 people their role, then when their body was reported it was usually a free confirmed Duck ejection. A savvy Duck could counterclaim Canadian but it still generated sus.

It definitely depends on the skill of the players in the lobby, whether they're paying attention to details, and whether they're playing seriously. If you're playing with players who never remember who they saw passing by, then your experience as Canadian may be less enjoyable.

Canadian definitely plays differently in proxy chat games vs. non proxy chat games. You can kind of take control of that, by guiding people to think about the Canadian more in games that you aren't it, and regularly bring it up, to seed that pattern of thought into their mind.

Well, the sheriff was on the way to kill him. I'm standing on the shuttle, he's hiding in a vent waiting for another goose to kill. I squished my self in front of the sheriff.

Whoever kills that player would win some out of game currency for their discord server roles. To call us a copy is a bit disingenuous. Did fortnite copy PUBG? Or did PUBG copy Day Z? We open admit we were inspired by Among Us and its great but no one owns social deduction. We wanted to change the design and game play to be more centered around communication. That's why we added dynamically controller integrated voice and proximity chat, 20 roles, and customization characters. We have new game modes and more stuff on the way. We're still in early access and we've only begun to scratch our content/feature list.

If you get the duck role in game, you only need to click on the task within the drop down menu on the left of your screen. it will point you directly to your task. The map will also show yellow dots (indistinguishable from fake tasks though) and doing the task is pretty self explanatory, you simply input a four digit code that is shown to you. Just don't rush it as people tend to mess up and input the wrong number a lot lol

Absolutely nothing. Its just a reference to some space show, warp speeds go from 1 all the way up to 9, with 9 being the fastest. In terms of gameplay, the different speeds do nothing except speed 9 which unlocks an achievement.

Sorry, but i disagree here, the Ducks are seriously outnumbered to begin with, and there's a Vigilante and a Sheriff which, assuming the both get lucky in their first kills in a full lobby, would only leave one duck..
Besides it's also hilarious to call Doors and get someone ejected, specially if you got vigi'd at the beginning of the game and have no one to talk to
