Question: If the lobby cooperates to have names called out, until the Silenced person votes someone, therefore meaning silencing someone and killing in front of them isn't very effective, any ideas/suggestions on how to make good usage of the Silence ability?

Silencing is good for keeping someone who might know too much or is a strong role from sharing their info. Bullying them by repeatedly silencing them is something I like to do.

People tend to accuse the person they silence, which observant players might catch on to so I tend to avoid doing that unless either they already have suspicion on them or I am desperate and need them out for some reason.

That kind of cooperation is something I have never seen outside of chinese lobbies where it's the norm to take turns in meetings where something like that might be more noticible.

When I get silencer I usually bully one person the whole game until they die, where I move on to someone else.

You'll usually see me stick near the bell to catch someone trying to ring before I can silence.

Might not be the most optimal why of being silencer, but that's the shrike way

This team almost never gives specific release dates, instead releasing the moment it is ready without being pressured by release dates where you either rush to be on time and deliver a poor product or you push back the date and disappoint your fans.

I have found, at least for me, killing in front of a silenced player is the least effective way to use the ability.

If they don't get voted out, they spawn in the very next round and immediately accuse you, fooling your plans.

Only useful when there's a guaranteed victory no matter what happens that meeting.

Personally, I find it better to use it as Shrike suggested, silence the players who you believe to be the most likely to share info that could incriminate you, players who are typically very good at deduction or just in general players who tend to sway the voting in their favour just because they're loud.

Restricting the flow of information, even if it's not directly related to you, can be very useful.

OHHHHHH - that makes a lot of sense! It's a way of removing someone from a discussion that might've been helpful during the meeting with useful info or something else that would've swayed the conversation. I'm more frustrated that we weren't informed that the whole store was going to go. I have 50k silver that I was saving for something special. But if I knew that we were losing the store I would have spent some silver.

Now a 50k item in the silver store (like the Borat bikini) is worth 20k dust. And on the mini claw alone, it would take at least 1 million silver to obtain 20k silver ( (20,000/5)x250)

So far I've done 16 small claw pulls and gotten dust for 15 of those pulls. I pulled a common fart that I already owned for my 16th pull and only got 3 (+6) dust for it.

You shouldn't receive less dust than the base amount of dust the machine gives. Makes me think that I will save up gold for a pull on a better machine and end up with 3 dust.

The two alternatives to this comment would be to
A) offer less cosmetics upfront and adding them over time (which then changes the odds of receiving rewards)
B) constantly swap out the machines and never be able to bring cosmetics back

Our main goal is to continue development on the game indefinitely. One major challenge we have is that we don't treat this game like a f2p game but we charge $0. We basically give out DLC size updates multiple times a year and expect nothing in return. This is on top of paying for secure servers and voice chat data. This model would work if enough people support us but the reality is that most dont or cant. A lot of players felt that those who do support us were being upstaged by f2p accounts. We didn't like this.

We have no plans on putting gameplay behind a pay wall and when we look at games out there with the level of quality and content that we have, we're pretty much alone with the exception of but a few.

We wanted to put further separation between how cool f2p accounts can look compared to those who only support us a little and those that see it the way you see it. Our goal is to keep the game content free forever.
