holy gods i've been playing DL2 recently and I LOVE the traversal in that game, ik Palia isnt even designed to have such a complicated traversal but HOLY GODDESSES I really hope moving from point a to point b is somewhat interactive by the player and not always just walking through a desolate road

Its a programmatic limitation probably .. many games with terraforming have their landscapes/worlds designed using voxels ( cube system ) think no mans sky and valheim ( I think ) rather than meshes with objects for caves etc.

It's very hard to do as it means run time editing of the mesh .. the more terraforming the longer it will take to load ( depending on how the landscape/world is created in the first instance ). Valheim I think fits that bill .. it procedurally generates a world map and then as you load in each area it adds any terraforming you have done. My friends did a horrible amount of terraforming on one of our shared games .. it took ages to load up everything

A game for instance that hand creates the landscape/world would first have to load in the map, and then work out what modification has been done in that area. Again a loading issue.

I was never a fan of terraforming in any games I've played, it's usually very clunky, takes too long to get right and never actually ends up how you imagined. While I could see some level of it being neat, I think I'd honestly prefer designed presets

Is this game be on the new console after the PC and what's the cheaper gaming laptop or tower

As for power of rigs I'd say if you build the pc-rig yourself, the pc-option will be cheaper. That is meant as in overall power to play certain games in regard to the price to achieve this outcome.
Especially with some prices going down the last few weeks.
Personal opinion though.

I always prefer the option where I can choose parts and being able to replace new parts easier, if needed.
So, tower build is always preferred.

Yeah I agree, have the prices of gpus come down or are they still bonkers atm? Last I checked, some amd gpus were down in price, but I haven't been keeping an eye on it.

end of february at least the most bought AMD gpus went to a price around +50% over list price, abit falling. nvidia gpus are still very high in that regard.

But problem with amd right now is, that they're going really warm and loud, so water cooling is advised.
