Your interior choices are going to be wild Only Nish's house in Pre-Alpha was shown the outside for .. I didn't see anything special there though.

That may be just placing stuff on the ground .. but it might mean customizing the outside wall design

We all are waiting .. but bear in mind that although there will be more than in Pre Alpha ( 1400 ) it will still be a moderate amount of testers. In Pre Alpha there were something like 80k people interested and 1.4k picked. Alpha will have numbers around 110k if not more by then so even if they managed to invite 10 x as many people ( we might not be that lucky ) it will still be a tiny portion of the people waiting. 🤞 So good luck to everyone 🤞 Quote: [S6] AmeliaMarz — 10/29/2021 It is a bigger number of players than the Pre-Alpha, but still a moderate selection. Does anyone know if you’ll be able to talk to people as you pass them like with a mic? Or will it just be emotes?

i dont believe theyve ever directly said so, though voice chat in game has been suggested many times. I think the main issue with it is with open world voice, its nearly impossible to moderate unless you record all conversations, which just isnt practical. pretty much the same reason theres no voice channels in the discord. it would have to be moderated 24/7 and thats just not viable.

I was thinking before, I believe bug hunting is planned. Would be cool to go catch butterflies and have em fly around us.

It'd be cool if some of the animals could be found and tameable, then you could go hunting for specific variations or colours you like. Actually, I just imagined something like FFVII chocobo breeding for variations, so for example, you tame a deer, but feed them weird vines to breed them like Memecraft, then they spawn a kinda of wild flora looking deer or something. Or, you breed a deer with a uhhh tiger or whatever and you get a stripy fanged deer lmfao, but that's obv a very elaborate idea, just daydreaming here.

I imagine colour variation wouldn't be hard in principle. Create a small bunch of patterns and layers, then randomly assign pre-designated colours, or something. If we have biomes, then variation in colours due to that would be insanely cool. Like browny/green for forests, greys for mountains etc.

Yeah that sort of stuff might be a bit too soon. But they are using UE4 at the moment so that might give you some idea of what they may be using based on what we’ve seen or been told so far.

Actually color variation could become expensive on performance if they are aiming for mobile as well. To make it not impact performance it can become fairly complicated 😅
