Usual example is youtube videos.

Then either the audio has to be muted, or the thing - in this example, a video - has to be taken down/made private.

If a game is caught using audio without permission/license, it could mean a whole lot of legal trouble.

and yes, that includes us as players using audio in-game through an official means.

Multi-boxing or multiboxing refers to playing as multiple separate characters concurrently in an MMORPG. That is a curious question, but that is often frowned upon as it is considered farming resources in some MMOs. I know that WoW does not prohibit it.

They have confimed that the long-term plan is to allow multiple characters to an account (source: #❓│old-team-answers-pre-alpha message), but I don't think there is any statement from a S6 dev that a consumer can have multiple accounts (much less play multiple accounts).

Farming wheat for noodles.
Farming soybeans, cooking skill for soy sauce
Raising chickens for broth
Fermenting skill for miso
Mining for salt
Fishing, or maybe beachcombing, for nori
Woodcutting for menma (it's bamboo)

Now whether we as players will be engaging in such an activity is up for speculation as there is no official confirmation on that.

Anyway as I was saying, in a theoretical player-composition music system, I'd enjoy something akin to Mabinogi's approach, where we get to transcribe notes into a scroll and determine backing track order and such. Then you could "use" the scroll (it'd be infinite use) to play the song you've composed.

I don't think they have named every game that inspired them but there are several elements from multiple games that they liked that they put together to help them build Palia.
