In all honesty, one of the reasons my switch friends does not want to play PC games is they have this misconception that PC games are all violent games, combat games, strategy games, and that there is no laid back games that exists which is totally wrong. I really want to introduce them to PC gaming and I feel like Palia would be the best game to introduce to them who has never played on a pc system before.

I had a plastic screen up, but wasn't wearing a mask, a girl was coughing at my desk without a mask... assured me it was just a cold... pretty darn sure she was the one who gave it to me. Got real diligent about wearing my mask and using hand sanitizer when I got back after my 2 weeks at home.

We are still exploring ways of networking before entering the game with your character - at the moment the easiest way is to either become friends (you can search for them even if you’re not in the same area), or join a party together, after which you will have manual controls to ensure playing together. it at least answered the question that on day 1 you can start making sure you are able to play together.

Closed Alpha is expected in the first half of next year .. with full release currently expected at less than 2 years and 7 months

We don't know the numbers for Alpha yet .. but we are told they are more than Pre Alpha which were 1400 but will still be a moderate amount. So, there is a chance. Not too great but better than no chance at all 🙂

Based on current information, none. Most combat oriented will be hunting, which still isn't combat, and there's no traditional pvp. Rather pvp in the form of family game style, equivalent to board games, snowball fights etc
