Not super hard, you can buy the seeds from the gardening guild store, once you have a bush growing. just make more seeds.

i have roughly 100 blueberries in my inventory at any given time

I wish the bundle board and event didn't give out so many Jack-O-Lantern lures. I have 6 left over. I've already caught several star quality Pumpkin Rockhoppers. Since the lure only attracts that one specific bug it was easy to get the bundle amount with one lure. I totally get 2 lures. But I wish the second lure and the post-bundle lures were something... else?

It's also one of the possible prizes in Zeki's coin machine, and you can get a blueberry from a rummage pile and process it in the seed machine, but both of these involve luck

It could be yes. In general Bahari is harder for most switches to process because of the large amounts of things going on. My switch does not like bahari haha. I’d assume that a special ‘event’ like a grove could definitely mess with your game even more

Not anymore :/ used to be but now people are getting that quest before completing the root bundles

And it used to be you would get a cutscene but you get that cut scene before completing the bundles now or sometimes the cutscene glitches and you just get the end result

Hoping the devs are seriously considering making it possible for folks to do the things they do on plots without having to glitch, like reducing collision, allowing overlaps, floating things. Something akin to ESO housing. You look at NPC builds and it’s obvious those types of placements are happening in those as well. Would be nice and allow for greater creativity for all players, not just glitchers or folks with friends.

Plus as they fix bugs, certain glitches stop working, so old techniques end up breaking.

Hi everyone, is there any development on creating something that is appropriate to place on ceilings and rafters, when I hit my control button in my house, a grid appears on the ceilings and rafters. I tried placing stucco, tiles, even wallpaper. Nothing was suited for that surface. If you can't decor it, why grid it?

The mods are just volunteers and have no association with S6, the only one who'd be able to would be Lacie, who is the community manager, and while she is active in the discord, she can't keep up with the amount of messages pouring in.

She does take note of some stuff, like common issues players are encountering and such.

With the size of this server it just doesn't seem to be feasible atm to have a feedback channel.

From my understanding this discord was, at one point, a primary way for the devs to receive bug reports and feedback. However, as the server grew, that feasibility reduced. There's an estimated 500k people in this server right now. The online section currently shows 50k and it's early morning in a work day in europe, and fairly late at this point in the US. That's a lot of people, and being able to sort feedback messages is much easier than discord messages. We do see devs occasionally in #🤝│game-help and #💻│tech-help but they're usually there trying to pin down specific bugs, asking for ticket IDs

The Maji mart thing at night is only a week long. But from what I've read (I'm only like 20 hours in) is that it is a week long every month. Plus the tickets you earn carry over from month to month so not a big rush.

Oh, there is a 'daily tasks' in your menu somewhere. It rewards little tickets that you can use for purchasing new hair colors and in the future (not sure when but it's mentioned in a dev post) those tickets will also be used to unlock dying clothing.

Tips for Collecting Essence

• Upgrade your Relics to Tier IV as soon as possible!
• Party up! When in a party, Relic buffs are shared with other party members even if they do not have that Relic equipped. It is suggested that party members each equip different Relics in order to combine multiple effects.
• Drop a Honey Lure and catch as many infected critters as you can (ideally in a party). A4 on the map grid is reported to be a great spot for lures!

No, this was an area we had never explored. I only have 23 hours and she has like 16.

We found 3 chests in this one hidden cave behind some moss. I saw 3 chests there and she saw 2. 2 of them had coins I think are for continuing the main story.
There was another cliff I found and I got a chest but she didn't even see it. I do not remember what was in the chest though since I didn't pay close attention to the popup but thought it was normal stuff.

Yeah, I’m not truly happy with the ranching. I guess I was more hoping I could do it on my main plot, rather than have to switch screens. Not being able to decorate the ranch is a bummer. And if I don’t play for a couple days, the animals seem to age too fast, with no simple way to pause aging, since we can’t craft cookies.

I want to just breed until I get ones I like and then keep them forever... which yes, I can do, but they don't do anything unless I pay for the handler's license to have them as follow pets... which I refuse to do because $$$.

Some quests have you find chests that will have the quest items in them (most talked about will be the [element]seeker medallions) and you only see them when the quests is active.

You wouldn't see people on your plot if it was up for tours anyway. The plot on tours is instanced. Are you sure all of your plots are locked to either friends or NPCs only?

Thank you, I actually just started doing more research and it seems to be the crappy switch, mixed with some bugs and as far as the other players I am not sure because switching plots is when I see them as it says players will be removed or something like that, and as I load onto my other plot they are floating mid air and I just restart the game.

i heard some ppl (even with locked plots) see some randoms on their plot , idk if they move around or not. but it’s a bug i guess that’s happening again (happened long time ago) . no one can take anything off your plot tho even as editor. for things moving around sometimes things go invisible, maybe it’s on a . different plot (that used to be a bug) especially if you put things on the builder items.

if you can’t find them anywhere best you can do is that support ticket, there might be something stuck in the ground/out of bounds area. but see on how you did a ticket , make sure you had replied to it so you get a human to contact you , but if you haven’t i’d redo the bug report explain what happened, if you can give an example item that’s no longer on your plot probably will help find them.

specifically:

• i find it hard to tell which ones i've already fed, especially when they move around and they don't always all produce stuff at the same time (sometimes I use that as a kind of marker)
• it takes a long time to go through and find all my animals and feed them and collect their materials, partly cause the ranch is so sprawling - it's a blessing they have so much space, but also a curse cause I have to find all of them lol

When I get to my barn i go into the animal roster and favourite/heart all the animals that need feeding. Then as I feed one I remove the favourite marker and look for the next one on my compass. You can see on your compass fairly easily when you have done a pen as the hearts are clumped showing that only animals in other pens are still left to feed

i only feed them once every 2 days so i usually feed/collect pet at the same time, therefore the animals that dont have a produce icon on top are already fed

I've already read that the Shepp doesn't really do anything. It might be a future thing. I get that.

But... what exactly is a Shepp? I thought I saw it mentioned that you're basically joining their family but at same time it's flat out said numerous times by NPCs that you do not need to follow your family path. So are they training you in a path, are you joining their family, or what is the meaning behind it? It's got to be more than 'being sponsored' because you already do a lot to prove your worth.

It's basically like a mentor, I guess it's more like they'd guide you in discovering your own path rather than make you follow theirs. At least that's how I see it myself, since it doesn't have much impact in the game yet.

If you talked to Najuma after finishing the Bulletin Board completely (the quest "Spirit Fest Outro") but still can't find it in your inventory or storage or the accessories slot, you might have to submit a ticket to Support. They'll probably want screenshots proving you did all four Bundles, just an fyi.

Yeah all it shows is the points and tickets total, so for some reason there is no way to track balloons popped per match. That particular Stamp Card is obtained when the whole server pops 1k or more in one night so you'll just get it when that happens.

So uh, I'm doing the Piksi bounce game to get Elderwood Cosmos and not doing good at it...played 5 times and got 3 cosmos (have managed to request 2 more). Yet I realized last time playing the game if I do the "unstuck" feature, I get put back on top of the tree, even if I have touched the ground! Are there any consequences for using that feature? I keep the things I just gathered, right? Isn't like a rewind or something?

Kind of feels like cheating, but is a feature of the game. Can even keep hitting "Unstuck" to go to an even earlier place I was standing to get to the top of the tree again. If others are using this, no wonder no one waters the pods to open the bounce flowers.

Sorry for the late replay --busy packing and throwing things away Palia is thee hoarding game at this point. I keep rare resources and other stuff to give to people whenever I can or have 1000s of building materials for whatever project I have in the works. I felt bad the other day because a friend was requesting peppers but I only grow starred ones If the devs don't understand that, I'd suggest they play the game for 4 weeks and just see what it's like for the average player. I know a few different studios have done that and it improved QoA since they saw first hand what needed to be addressed.

At the risk of sounding too negative again, I think the playerbase forgot that glitches are like, NOT supposed to be there, due to Palia being glitchy in general. There is a bit of a double standard when it comes to housing, as glitching is celebrated there, for instance. I know there are other arguments to be made too but the official Discord ain't always the place for it...

so idk i’d think a special line to refer to that there’s “hidden gems/easter eggs” how they wanna say it and leave it at that. they wouldn’t have to keep adding more context to it every update either cuz it’d be the patch they are introduced.

I know I've seen the idea a few times, but honestly -- a recycling device. Toss the furniture in, get some of the materials back. I have the Place of Lost Things, a plot specifically littered with all the furniture I don't want, need, or can't really use so my chest isn't cluttered up with it. I have a question: Does anyone else have this, or is it intended before I submit a ticket? For me, Nai'o is constantly standing in the Elderberry Forest near the "Central Stables." He doesn't go anywhere. I have to go there for every quest, or if I want to give him a gift. He doesn't even go to the Maji Market or to sleep in Kilima. Is that normal? I've completed all my quests.

t's now 10:40 pm. He's still standing at the central stables station, patting himself on the legs. The other NPCs are gone.

The feedback has very much been raised to the team. Unfortunately, it was just too short notice for the event to have placeable jams (that surprisingly take a lot of tech and planning work) be a reward. But rest assured, the team is now very aware of the want for them though.

Kinda strange question, I didn't find anything searching the server, but I might not have searched the right combo of words. Is there plans to be able to mix and match non-starred and starred crops and items for recipes when cooking? Basically, I tend to only keep the starred crops I grow, but hard to come by forageables (heat root, flowtato, etc) I only have a one or two starred. So when cooking recipes that require those items, I want to make non-starred versions, but I can't use non-starred crops because I only have starred ones.

I keep my starred forageables in my lockbox, so the recipe is forced to use regular ones even when you hit the "use quality ingredients" box

Okay wait maybe i explained it wrong and actually confused myself. I want the ability to use starred veggies in a regular non-starred recipe. So without selecting the "use starred ingredients" button, I should be able to select starred versions.

I'd prefer it the other way around - choose to use non-starred items in a dish that is mostly using starred items, to preserve the ones I only have a few starred versions of

Would also fix the issue of not having enough of the starred ingredient but not being able to use your non-starred, when it requires multiples

I feel like the ability to upgrade an ingredient for a base recipe makes sense. But the other way of using a downgraded version in a starred recipe shouldn't be allowed. But I also see both sides of it. Ideally it would be both ways, but right now they only allow downgrading.

the issue with the community events atm is that they need to be careful not to influence the new player experience with them bcs the rewards are simply login rewards, so it's somewhat understandable, still sucks but eh
no matter what they'd add veteran players would have plenty of it already anyways

and the main reward is the plush vote, bcs the community turned the game into Plushia by consistently demanding new plushies

I would rather have the community events something actually in the game through the bulletin board with livetracking and a personal goal we need to reach to unlock the rewards so they have more freedom in reward quantity

but a system like that would take time to implement

Wouldn’t it be cool to unlock certain building styles via a community event? Palia does have towers for instance but there’s no way to build them yet. But imagine you unlock a medieval‘esk tower through a community event and your „payment“ is the effort. Would be new player friendly as well imo

We definitely hope to bring more in game integration with these community events as we continue to listen to feedback and iterate on them. Especially with messaging surrounding the events, and other important in game communications.

It's definitely a fine balance trying to find something that is enticing to all player types (new, mid-game, more experienced). We're working on finding different rewards that excite all player types, **but **that also make sense for all player types. (Giving a bunch of gold bars to a new player, for example, could really mess up their experience in the early game).

I know there's a ton of great ideas for new content in the game, and while we love to hear those - those can take a bit longer to create and and can't realistically be the majority of prizes, especially if we're planning these community events to happen more frequently.

However, I would love to hear ideas for rewards that are already-existing in game items that would be exciting to you all. This is really helpful when planning future events. 🙂

Maybe a temporary luck increase item. Nothing insane. But it took me real life weeks to get certain star stones that should have been easy to drop. Currently been trying to catch a swordfin eel for like a month (haven't even seen it!!), any little extra boost would be appreciated. I think what people are kinda sad about currently is that the placeable jams had been a long term request, so to hear the team has only been aware recently could be interpreted as the past feedback had not been seen before or only was recently.

I understand they can't pump out new stuff fast and without properly testing it of course though, plus there are so many assets in game we'd also love to see officially implemented too (like tints )

I understand what you're saying, and I think a lot of folks understand that in regards to the fine balance!

Gold Bars would probably be fine for a new player-- considering that's been given in the past as twitch drops and login rewards (I'm thinking like 5 max)! That said, I think, for example with this one, giving 2 apple seeds or 2 blueberry seeds (or even 1 of each), would probably be good for new players and give incentive!

I know veteran players would shrug, because... well, we have a bunch of that stuff already, but I think something like that to help them progress a little (since it doesnt boost it that much, in my opinion!) would of been more enticing! Esp cuz that could help open them up to participating in cake parties and working towards other stuff!

Other than that, I genuinely am not too sure what rewards would be better for veteran players. Since a majority of folks have a handful of things already, so most stuff is going to be kinda... eh.

And as much as I don't like FOMO-- I saw someone before suggest a trophy specific to these events, to show that "you were there". And that could be something that is reoccuring-- since I'm assuming they would happen more than once! (Insect-a-palooza for example). I know that isnt something that "already exists", but something to maybe think about too!

So that way, even if someone partipates in the 2nd one, they can still work twoards it. Just would take a bit longer, if that makes sense.
