Many issues can be resolved with player workarounds or the right information, so potentially something could be solved in the meantime. Some things require player support of course, so if you have an issue like that, continue to reply to the ticket so it stays open/they know you still need help.

Are you on PC? If so, you can try the sync date and time step (support will recommend this anyway), and your items may return.

It depends on what they are though. It doesn't work with all items, but does with most missing things.

If you're on PC, try the following steps:

1. close Palia and your platform completely.

2. search date and time settings in your windows search bar.

3. on the resulting pop up, hit the sync now button. Even if it says it's synced, do it anyway.

4. open Palia again. Check the area between your in-bound grid and the plot board (this is called the "lamp zone") and some of your missing items may be there.

You may need to do this several times depending on number of missing items, as the lamp zone only has a set number of spaces.

And if you do this, and it doesn't work, you can update your ticket that you did try this and it didn't work so they don't recommend this troubleshoot to you.

I've been thinking about sending feedback to team about putting party members and radius on map. Perhaps the radius could surround the person who created the party. This would allow the other party members to venture out but know they are staying within limits. Thought I'd get some thoughts from you guys first. I'm usually a solo player and don't really party up so don't even really know if this would be helpful.

Another issue besides player etiquitte would be where in already-established-Kilima a community kitchen would go, and what it would look like. Would it merely have 2 of each station to cover all the recipes? what if more people show up? It is an interesting idea, but it's kind of already covered via server chat and the ability to open your home plot up to anyone on your server.

Has anyone else had issues with only getting starred produce from your garden when you plant non-starred seeds?

Once you hit a certain level, you unlock an invisible perk that all the crops you harvest will be starred, no matter the seed quality.

If you need to, I believe you can buy an unstarred veggie from either Badruu or Zeki. But yeah, like Faera said, you just need to remember to start all your recipes starred.

I just think the default needs to be switched. I like having the no starred option so it won’t automatically consume starred items when you don’t want it to. I don’t have enough room in my lockboxes to store all my starred… fruit, for example, when doing an “unstarred” cake party. And I tried putting unstarred in my inventory to get the game to prioritize them but it pulled starred ones from my inventory still

But yes I think the “star quality allowed” should be the default

Yes star quality items will always be prioritized by the inv system even if they are in your storage chest and not your backpack. This is why it's best to lock starred items away if you for sure do not want them to be used, and want unstar items to be used. Great example is sweet leaf. If you have starred sweet leaf in your storage chest, and even with Dari in your bag, the inv system will choose the starred spice during a poke bowl recipe even with the "higher value" unstar items in your backpack inventory. (Unless you're manually selecting every time).

I don't really see an issue with GIFTING starred items, so long as it still follows the current rule that they receiving player has to have already acquired it first. Or just automatically demote the item to unstarred when gifted. JK I actually don't like that, could be misleading if you think you're giving them a gemstone or something you think they can place

Gifting needs to be expanded to starred items especially because at a certain point you stop being able to harvest non-starred crops so all you're getting is starred.

This is actually how me and a friend of mine got tons of essence. I ended up getting 4k I think in.. 3 hours, give or take I think? From just running around and cutting all the trees in one specific area. Both of us having different amulets to boost the drops, because honestly getting essence is incredibly tedious… someone on reddit said if you want every single object that you can buy either essence + all the essence quests, it equates to 100k essence which is… kind of ridiculously huge. A bit too much for majority of people. And I don’t think the gemstone bag is worth 10k essence at all, since apart from MAYBE the starred ruby, I don’t think anything is worth that. But even then I think 5k worth starstone for 10k essence is kinda ridiculous. Or realistically the highest price that isn’t ruby is being 2,250 gold, which.. also is even more ridiculous. They wouldn’t sell us 10k essence for 2,250 gold, because it’s definitely not worth that kind of effort it takes to get 10k essence. That’s equivalent of non stop grinding for mm 8 irl hours give or take. You’d earn more gold catching bugs or fishing for 8 hours that way.

I think for new players they will be driven away by the intense grind because too much grind isn’t fun, plushies are already a huge grind. From lore point of view it makes sense but 100k essence grind is kinda craaaazy.

Thanks for the tips though, it’s what I have been doing either way a friend but we’ve been busy with trees as said somewhere above, because it was the best way for us to get essence. IMO I think this game has always advertised it as a game more for co-op than solo, but with the possibility for solo players to also play and enjoy it to an extent. But most mechanics do rely on pairing up and doing parties. They have been fairly clear with this from the beginning.

Yep, it's not really that big of an issue. The only "sink" for gold is either the zeki coins or buildings/furniture. There isn't really an advantage or competition. It was the most community feeling I had in game for a while, without the usual complaints over honey lures.

Many players had also been begging for another bug catching community event like the Bug-a-palooza, to further that sense of community.

I think the issue is that the game from the getgo had this message of "going your own path" and being able to "play how you wanted". There's both discourse about the community systems of the game being half baked (such as the in game communities) but also about how the game is being more rewarding if you play in parties, which may not be everyone's playstyle.

The way artifacts work in EW definitely feel like they're designed with the intent to incentive people to play in parties, specially for grinding essence. Many aspects of EW don't feel very balanced for solo playstyle, and more grinding.

The cake nerf really hit so hard, I was actually around for that but never did it myself as I didn’t quite get what was going on. But I remember the uproar from players being upset. Any time players find something that is “worth the value” too and grind it, it ends up having price decreased for “balance”. But it never takes into consideration solo players who actually suffer the most from those cuts.

That was what I mentioned to a friend before!!! I thought the loot would be shared and that we’d gain more by doing it together. I was so disappointed to find out teaming up for the piksii blossom event just.. doesn’t do anything??? This is exactly the kind of event where pairing up should give bonuses

And honestly? For a game that does put some pressure on communities and community interaction, it’s actually quite hard to find communities to play with. Since can’t advertise discord servers and ingame there is no “all these communities you can join that aren’t filled up yet” menu.

The frog glitch essentially was that in 2 certain areas of EW, if a honey lure was placed in a specific spot, it would spawn a massive amount of the epic tier frogs, which sell for quite a bit. So it became a fast way to acquire essence and gold.

They patched it, twice, but I'm not sure if they nerfed the frog rates after that.

And then star stones got nerfed hella price wise, and then worm bins got their own nerfing since people were tossing cakes into them to get fertiliser and loads of worms. When reviewing submissions, we trust people to be honest and use our best judgment....especially if something seems completely far-fetched. That said, we’re not going out of our way to verify every detail or request personal information. That could be seen as a bit too invasive.

The pings also serve a purpose when there are in game items/gifts tied to them. Even with the ping, I’ve noticed some folks are confused about why they received something in-game, so the notification helps add context. They are also generally only once every two weeks.

At the end of the day, the goal of Beyond Bahari is simple: to share a little joy with the community. I think we could all use a little bit of additional joy in our lives.

The developers wouldn't have said that they are looking for a way to implement marriage and kids if they weren't working on it. It won't mess with the lore any more than it would in any other game. I am not interested in other players getting married but if they add that alongside getting to marry NPC characters then that is great for anyone who wants that feature.

There's a lot of conditions that apply. Artstation is something of a virtual portfolio for artists, and they have a right to show their work. A lot of the Palia related stuff has been posted by former employees, and I suspect the more recent ones may be contracted workers as opposed to permanent staff, which gives them a little more freedom to showcase their art. Speculating, of course, but it's the way I've seen it done with other companies. Having contractors instead of permanent staff often looks better on paper for costs.

Yes, all pets have the courier function. In order access it you need to complete a quest in EW, which also unlocks a free pet and 4 courier slots.

You can get additional 4 slots (for a total of 8) if you buy the Founder's Pack, which also unlocks the feature without the need of the quest, but it costs money.

Just over a year ago, in honor of that punny father, Badruu, S6 gifted all it's happy little players ✨ Lettuce Seeds✨. There was much excitement, for Reth frequently vaunted his famous lettuce soup. Here was it's beginning! Players eagerly cultivated their gardens to grace their garden with its green leaves. But when planted, it was noted that the lettuce looked strange. Grey and spikey, like it was not yet meant for this world. Players diligently tended their gardens, hoping the lettuce would soon take on a verdant hue. But alas, it remained grey, right up to the moment that it could be pulled from the fields.
Some players made more seeds, hoping that in time, the blighted crop would appear healthy, but it was not to be. A year has passed, and the humans still wait for a chance to make their own soup... 🥬 #LegendofLettuce

Has anyone tried the Scholar of the flames (Steam) achievement recently? It has been bugged for so long that I haven't tried it myself in a long time

It seemed to be fixed for a period of time, I completed that achievement in December 2024. I had to use a steam guide to finish it, the stuff I was finding on wiki/reddit/etc wasn't helping.

Yeah! Definitely worth a try. Some people have struggled lately but some others have completed it too. It seems to be hit or miss depending. My personal advice would be to look towards the community steam guides, if they still come up on Google these days. That was helped me find the missing stuff.

If you look at the table that is set for people to come over for dinner in the Beta trailer. One can see what looks like a fresh green salad.

It's now been 2 years since that trailer was released, & we still have no mention of that salad item. Or the lettuce that would go into it.

if you are logging in every day (can literally just open the game and then close), and don't mind waiting for the outfit, you could look into the loyalty club. it's 5 usd (not sure about canadian dollars), you get an initial 450 then every day you get an additional 30 coins for a month so a total of 1350. after two months you should be able to buy the outfit for only 10 usd (again, not sure if that's better in canadian dollars)

Yes and semi yes. If you look at the roadmap video they show all the new furniture pieces we should be expecting. Some may be in sets and some may be part of the new housing expansion. No names have officially been given(unless stated in video or notes). Estimated time sometime hopefully in the next year or two. (Someone correct me on the dates if we were given a better estimate).

For the tints there's been a dev or two who have stated they're tracking that more color tints are needed and wanted. And that they're being worked on but no official word on what kind or when.

We'll see if any comes out in the new update

Feedback request/Idea, it would be nice to have a 'filter' button in storage, when pressed, shows you from most to least of how many items you have in storage. It would make figuring out what to sell a LOT easier because hwen you have 13k items it can be really overwhelming going through the chest and figuring out what to sell. A filter would make it so much easier visually to locate the items you have excess of and sell! 🥺

It's not region priced like the Founder's Pack is, if I'm not wrong. In fact the currency exchange for Brazil was messed up for a bit and displayed an incorrect amount

I can def say it isn't for mine. I think the way they've gone about it is that they've set a fixed exchange rate for each currency, because if I do the conversion to mine, it's just off by a very small margin. But it's the same equivalent.

Meanwhile for FP it is a lower amount than it is in the US (still pricey though but, at least it is lower).

I'm in Russia, my game displays all prices in dollars, when I click to purchase, Steam converts it to rubles using Steam's conversion rate.

For less significant markets they just let Steam handle the conversion
