The party tab is more used for setting up hunting parties, bug hunting, fishing, housing plot cooking parties.

You may have a better chance in-game asking to share relic buffs (though I hear this also isn't done as often anymore)

I think I may have bugged the campsites in Elderwood/Terras Altas and I’m wondering if anyone else experienced this.
During the campfire cooking quest, I already had campfire food in my inventory, and the game counted it for the quest and let me progress.
Now I’ve finished the quests, but I still can’t find campsites anywhere. People gave me locations and I even followed someone directly to a campsite location in real time, but there was absolutely nothing there for me.
I’m starting to wonder if the quest counting the campfire food I already had in my inventory skipped some trigger and prevented campsites from unlocking/appearing for me. Has anyone experienced this?

hi! i need help. i’m doing the something fishy quest and rinse gave me the bait but it doesn’t let me fish infected fish. i mean i fish but it’s just normal fish and now my bait broke

i tried fishing in the purple spots, with the bait, without the bait, in rivers and lakes and even at the sea but the counter doesn’t go up. it seems bugged but i also reopened the game

I'm not sure why it's not registering, but you can craft new elderwood lures at your workbench

There are no infected fish. The fish you catch from infected spots are regular fish with Infected Essence.

Is fishing as a whole broken? Im fishing in elderwood with my sister and it seems like starred spots and infected spots arent working even though we are DIRECTLY on the spots

Fishing has always been super finicky for me in elderwood the entire time i've been in the zone. Even when it shows me that I can fish in that spot when I cast out it tells me i need to be in a different position ( you have to go in a really weird area to even fish from some places) Sometimes when the starred spots are there, they dont give me star fish. Sometimes the animations dont trigger to go away either for me after I do get a fish from one of the spots. Or I do not get any essence from the infected fishing spots. So maybe something is broken, yes xD

From what I have gathered, it's using a bug lure in a specific area to collect it off of infected bugs. But truly, I have no idea as I just do this and run around collecting everything essence related. 😂

I'm also reading to chop all of the trees down because then infected trees will start to spawn in that area.

Also the lure spot everyone suggests is A4 btw.

It's also good to utilize the relics and if you are in a group, you can mix them and get the benefits from everyone. There is also a potion from Tamala that helps!

i think i went through 500 fine arrows and was part of a hunting duo but we would get starred meat, and nothing else. i came here and said that the ogopuus were annoying to kill, etc, and 50 arrows later, i got two starred ogopuu scale on my own.

go for just the blue and waveback ones...i went just for blues and left the emeralds alone.

the infected spots are buggy. you have to wait till the cast arrow turns purple but even then, it's a hit/miss as you need to land directly in the center.

Any got any tips for catch maws? I've been tearing my hair out trying to catch this guy, using every fishing buff I can get, the angler potion, the correct bait and have been searching for nearly two irl weeks to catch this guy and all I get are lake sharks and piksii floatfish, and plushies. I get that he's a legenfary fish, but why make a legendary fish part of a recipe when it is nearly impossible to catch him?! It's super frustrating

Assuming you're talking about the guiding lantern, you should be able to request one through the crafter menu I know that doesn't solve your fishing issues, but it at least helps with the lantern.

If you've started doing the story quests in the Royal Highlands, he may be quest locked there. You'll have to keep going to free him.
