oh thats an odd one, first time ive seen this. it could just be a visual glitch, but if you'd like to try something, close the game and resync your time and date before restarting, it might fix it.

you could also being missing one of the 3 pieces for that quest

During any offline period, you gain Rest XP. The Rest XP is shown as the transparent color in the Lunar Path HUD. For Kitsuu path, it's the darkish transparent red color. You can bank up to 24 real life hours worth of Rest XP.

This Rest XP acts as a multiplier. As you gain Lunar XP (the neon red color on the bar), the Rest XP is used to increase the value of your Lunar XP you just earned.

The transparent red bar will decrease while your neon red bar will increase. When you expend all of the banked Rest XP, you will no longer see the transparent red bar on your Lunar Path HUD. Once it is expended, you no longer receive the increased value of earned Lunar XP, and resume earning Lunar XP at the normal rate.

Hi! I wanted to ask a question about a change I'm just now noticing after a long break. I used to be able to use just the hat and pants from the stellar sorcery set (moonrise) and it used to replace my equiped glider with the broom stick and give me the ground effect, the other items I wore with it were the top and mask from the masked doctor set (botanist). These effects no longer show up and I'm wondering if it's a bug. I really miss using the broom stick as my glider and I don't see another way to equip it. Is it only applied with the full set now? (The broom stick and ground effect)

Most effects like gliding or idle animations are tied to the blouse/top, so you'd likely need to be wearing the stellar sorcery top to get the gliding effect and the idle animation

everything you acquire in highlands should drop some essence for you , if you're not getting essence it could be a small glitch, you could try mapping home and back to see if it was something that could be fixed by a loading screen transition, or restarting the game should resolve it for you :3

You have to follow the main questline in order to collect infected items (essence). Keep looking and you will find some that aren't infected until you get to that point.

you should be able to ride any of the normal dawnspurs youve bred or bought, the thoroughbred and the pheonixfires are the only ones you need to pay for, what you encountered was likely an unintended bug

Oh my goodness, I figured it out... The default dawnspur was in my 'retired' section by default (I didn't put her there). So I thought my fancy feet dawnspur had to be in there to ride. But no, if they're retired you can't ride them. He became rideable when I restored him.

You have a limit of 30 individual house structures on a single plot (rooms, freestanding buildings like the pavilion, gazebo, etc.). Then for the harvest house line, you can have a max of 15 rooms connected (hallways don't count), and for the alchemist/estate/ancient homelines, you start out with a max of 10 rooms connected (alchemist conservatory windows, alchemist fireplace, ancient bay window, and ancient balcony all count as rooms). You can increase this to a max of 14 by finishing the Path of the Kitsuu and the Path of the Tadpole (each gives you an extra 2 rooms connected--the limit of 30 total stays the same).

when you switch to your saved outfits it ato applies the glider you were using when you save it, so if its default it was saved as a default

youd have to manually change the glider through your wardrob/collectionstab to apply the one you wanted again unles you re-save the outfit with the glider/nameplate/pet and swap out the wheel selection

Don't wear Amadeus ring if you have it, its currently decreasing luck instead of increasing it, a bug that will be hopefully addressed with next patch,

You can try Halwards ring for increased tool efficiency, so it takes a few less hits to knock down the trees,

Otherwise just keep at it, amber drops aren't common not even the ones that drop in bahari and kilima

Yes, the homelines walls support placeable windows, but not placeable and transparent ones. So to get transparent windows for homelines, S6 had to make special rooms to essentially replace the walls.

I think the trees act like your garden, but someone may know better than I do. They only advance for every in game day you're playing. So if you watered it last night and then logged off and didn't log in again until just now, that's only one in game day. And if I remember correctly, they don't need to be watered every day by the end, but every second or third maybe. It's been a while since I grew an oak tree, though. I'm pretty sure you do need to get the seed in order for the quest to progress.

It's a bug. They revert to seed stage after being watered for a while. We just have to wait for them to fix it.

There are a few like that, like the one reachable from the stables board. Sometimes you don't aim for the center of the bubble spot, but the edge. Or you have to move to a different location. When you draw back to cast, look for the pulsing drop circle. If it isn't there, you can't fish.

Good luck getting one soon! Just in case - Elderwood arrows give the same amount of damage as fine arrows iirc, so for any non-infected ones you should be able to just use those, maybe an occasional slowdown in between to make hunting easier.

Yeah, it's confusing, but the two packs for the highlands are mostly duplicates of the same stuff, so you don't get 8 slots by buying both, it's the same four slots in each pack.

The chests (and all other crafters) have to be touching the floor inside your house or anchored to the ground outside. If there is something like a building block between the crafter and the floor of your house, it will teleport the next time you leave your plot (or change servers).

I am trying to build with the Estate house line. I unlocked everything in the path of the Kitsuu, except for the onesie and the tshirt.
I have the pillars, the actual base, the windows, everything except for the base rooms. Where do I find it? I was at Kenli's, in my crafting table, the build mode, I can't find the rooms anywhere.
Does someone know where the rooms for the Estate line are?

Make sure you're travelling to another map and not within the same map. It helps sometimes to wait a couple mins in the other map before traveling back. The server you're put in is totally random based on space so it's likely you traveled back so fast the space you left open wasn't filled up yet so it just put you back there

You find the artifacts at dig sites. In Elderwood, this is a random location. In Royal Highlands, this is at campsites (which are randomly placed as well). You can purchase the artifact tracker which will place the dig site on your compass as you get within range.

Relics are the items that provide buffs. In Elderwood, relics are used to help you catch infected things or track infested things, etc. In Royal Highlands, relic rings are used to buff your amber echo collection, provide drop rate buffs, etc.

Artifacts -- the items you donate to the bundles

Relics -- the items you personally equip to use for buffs

Okay that's good. You can try shutting down steam and Palia completely and resyncing your PC date and time, this may help it may not. If it doesn't help, wait on your support ticket as they'll be able to review your account and account purchases and they can assist you.

Quitting the game doesn't resync your date and time, if you haven't tried this, do this step so player support doesn't recommend this to you and you can let them know you already did that troubleshooting step.

Shut down Palia and exit steam completely, then resync date and time. Then reload steam and Palia. You can then let player support know in your ticket if this didn't work. If it did work then you're all settled.

But this way, they can get right to fixing the issue so you don't have to do through that step with them

that is an issue that keeps happening now, generally it goes away with a few hacks like resyncing your date/time on the pc, verifying steam files, or just relogging randomly

Oh thats another thing might be an other app or overlay causing it. TBH u are the only person with this bug that swaping tools not fixing it, everybody else can fix it with it so 90% its something on ur site in my opinion

the thing is, it is a common bug that is very easy to fix usually, but in their case the bug seems very specific to something causing it, which might be just a coincidence sure, or then cause of a very specific log in-style or launcher issue

okay, basics in palia debugging - sync your pc's date and time with steam and game closed, verify steam files, and try not to use/fire the tool belt items immediately after equipping them

for me the watercan is the one that most often bugs, both with switching to and out of it too fast, which causes it to cause the similar glithing with the can or to tell me that I don't have enough water in my axe

also - you might even want to restart your pc fully when doing changes like switching to d12, at least make sure to restart the game

When the update for RH came, it reset my keybinding (it was a tiny bit of a pain to redo). Have you tried to see if the keybinds could be messed up?

check that you did the full questline, and also that you're at the mixing station, not at the cooking or prepping one

Has anyone had trouble with activating the "Best foot forward" quest. Just realized I don't have the macaron recipe, but I got the mechanical foot ages ago. I've tried putting the foot in my inventory and going to talk with Hekla and Einar but nothing happens

Theres been cases of people loosing access to that recipe for some reason, if you have in your completed quest log "The great human bake off" and still don't have the macaron recipe then you'll have to write to support

The Macaron recipe comes from The Great Human Bake Off -- is that in your completed quest log? Check the mixing table for the macaron recipe if so.

If it's not in your completed quest log, check your quest inventory for the Very Old Grocery List, read it. If it's not in your quest inventory, you may need to go find the list to start the quest.
