I was wondering if there is a way to select a specific amount of multiples to move? for example, I want to put flowers around my farmland. if I want to move that farmland to a different location, would I be able to also select the flowers and fencing that I place around it, at the same time?

You can't choose what to multi select, the game automatically detects that for you (like linked building pieces, terraces etc). You would have to move it one by one

I have a small problem. I wanted to move my fields to a different plot of land. It worked smoothly for a few of them. However, with the remaining fields—specifically those 9 small patches—I just can't seem to get rid of them. I tried letting them "grow out," and I tried hacking them away with a hoe... but unfortunately, I'm completely out of ideas.

You can do either... It will become untilled in 48 hours regardless--once you harvest something after the 48 hours it will be bare. The only thing is that you would have to wait to be able to harvest if your stuff isn't ready yet once the 48 hours passes. (Sorry I edited that for clarity. You do not want to retill it.)

You're welcome! There may be some Discovery and Found Item quests that you can do without starting the Main Story quest in the RH. But the main story is linear, so you'll have to get current.

do dailies, do bundles at the bulletin board, you also get lunar xp just by playing.

check the question mark, completing dailies, bundle boards give u lunar path EXP, aside from that every afctivity like hunting cooking etc givees a very small amount. You have a bar belkow your focus bar that says how much exp you are earning until you fill up an entire level. Each Path can be activated so your EXP only counts towards 1 PATH out of all of them. So make sure to select the path you want to level up before claiming dailies

no, it's like elderwoods, not meant to be starred, it just means they give more amber. you're supposed to get starred fish from regular bubble spots but they're barely spawning in the highlands due to a bug.

Did I miss something?

the tutorial you are watching must be really old. they changed how the whole system works a long time ago. cottage A and B are just cottage base rooms with certain attachments added - all the attachments are now unlocked in the same lunar path as the cottage base room.

for a more solo approach to making money, fishing, hunting and gardening are decent options as well, gardening being good as it is a passive way to make income, all you really need to do is plant your crops and wait for them to grow, in the meantime, you could do other activities such as fishing and hunting to pass the time

once you reach the required levels to get the preserves jar and seed makers, you can further refine your crops to be seeds or preserves to sell them for even more profit

guys, I need help with the relics. I am so beyond confused. I'll tell you, what I did today and in which order I did it.

I bought the schematic for the bag of illusions. I bought the schematic for brighteye. I got the quest from tamala (I think it was a purple puddle) Hexomancy 101 to craft ANY relic. But there were no recipes on the relic crafter, someone mentioned that I still have the idol schematic for purchase. I traded some artifacts to be able to buy that schematic too. It triggered the visionary quest to craft the idol. I did. It updated tamalas quest to make any relic tier 2 and completed elouisas quest to craft the idol.

Ok, I found out, that I have to buy the schematic for idol tier 2, so I did. Now I have 2 questions:

When will I be able to craft the bag of illsions and brightey and how do I craft the idol again, cause I need it for the tier 2 idol but the tier 2 idol is the only recipe I have.

please someone help me, I am at a loss.

EDIT: I just found two main quests for bag of illusion and brighteye! But I still don't know how to get that idol again. I have it equipped but still need it for the recipe.

i usually equip the one i’m currently using (like the bag) and then whn i go to upgrade i unequip.

***Also here is a tip for anyone dealing with CyberSickness (motino sickness) when on the horse.

1. Turn on the Presistent Centre Reticle in the game settings.
2. Scroll to the bottom of Gameplay settings and change Mount Camera Mode to Automatic. You will need to use the WASD keys to turn and such but when you move your mouse, it won't move the camera at all while you're on the horse and it has REALLY helped me with the CyberSickness. ***

Reporting in that this is STILL an issue for me. YES, I have completed Through the woods, YES, I have completed Up the Hill, YES, I have completed the entire Prismbeard quest chain, YES, I have completed all side quests in Elderwoods. I have, as of tonight, completed the Zendruu Tree MSQs and I am now on the Royal Highlands MSQ quest, Nai'o is still glued to the Elderwoods Central Stable board all day/night and will not go home/back on his patting routes. Auni has already went back to his routes. I am on PC.

Is through the woods listed in your completed quests? I know you’ve completed it, but has it disappeared from the list? I have this same problem and it seems related to that quest. Every person I’ve come across with the same issue has completed that quest but it’s no longer in their list. I sent in a ticket and they asked for screenshots of everything and said they would be investigating whether this was happening to other players, so I encourage you to also send in a ticket. Poor Nai’o has been stuck at that stables board for me since August.

Yes, this seems to be the problem for me as well. I do not have Through the Woods anywhere in my completed list despite having finished it and gotten my stable board at home months and months ago. I've been having some issues and pain since the Royal Highlands update has people been missing any NPC's and has there been a buck to where you can‘t fish for starfish? I have been looking for Nai’o for the past four days. I don’t have any unfinished quests to where he would dissapere and I can’t find him so I can start working on the board bundles. I have not seen the new npc either. Also when I try to fish, the bubble pools of water for fishing stared fish are blocked.

If you not visited that campsite yet you will have soup on the bench. If you visited already there will be nothing. Also by the table sometimes is bag where you get new recipe (ofc rng). You can change server to spawn new campsites. It is 4 daily (2 for each server) and its random

Thanks. I mean the amber version of the crab specifically. All bugs, fish and animals in the Highlands have an amber version that you have to free from the amber first and then get, similar to the infected versions in Elderwood. There are accomplishments to get all normal, all starred and all amber. It is the amber one that hasn’t registered

okay i have started playing this game in September. I have this game glitch or something that just wont go away. With the Gardner I am on almost level 4 and it wont give me the gift request or quest line for level 2. I havent had Baduur or any other person come and activate the "Networking" quest. They have to be truly disconnected. They will snap together really easily. If you pick up the floor before the one you just attached and it picks up the one you just placed, too, then they are attached. Make sure you are aiming away from the previously placed floor when you place the new ones. They will still snap, but if you're aiming away from the other one, they won't actually attach.

Yep, the horse is at ur ranch! So you go there and check on it, also, see some workarounds from the COmmunity Manager:

Q: I can’t ride my horse, even though I have completed “Before the Dawn"!
A: Go to your collections menu and unequip the Dawnspur. Alternatively, go to your Retirement Acres and un-retire your Dawnspur. Either of these should fix the issue!

For those who equip a horse and can't mount it (after unlocking), here are some work arounds.

Work Around 1:

1. Open collections
2. Unequip your mount
3. Close menu - you should be able to ride

Work Around 2:

1. Clear space in your ranch
2. Restore your new horse from retirement
3. Age it up from baby
4. Then equip

a semi bug report, the alchemist fireplace seems to bug out the walls around it and won't let you place wall items so long as it's there

i've been testing around it and it seems like it's literally Just The Fireplace that does it, i placed another alchemist room atop the one with the fireplace and i can put stuff on that wall above it, but not the fireplace wall itself

To expand on mogikarp's answer, you'll need to finish all three It Takes a Village quests, Eye of the Storm, and Proof of Magic. After you finish Up in the Air, you need to explore the Temple of the Roots and finish the quests Keeper of the Roots, Secret Depths, and Vault of the Roots. Otherwise you'll get stuck on Rooted in Place.

That’s really odd. You can build elaborate housing plots. You can increase your friendship with all the NPCs and romance many of them. You can try to collect all of the different fish and bugs etc for achievements. You can collect plushies. There’s a lot of little surprise side quests, too.

You can get the horse without unlocking the full RH questline. But you’ll have to finish all the main story quests (the temples and the elderwoods) for the whole story in the highlands. But you can still get the horse!

A few of the things the game takes into account when putting you in a server is quality of the connection, whether friends are online, and if there are blocked people there. If you have a lot of NA friends, the game will try to put you with them. If you have EU friends, try to server sync with them. If you have a VPN running, check where the server is located.

tree farming would work for that too (do mitana grove or I4/I5), honey lures (usually at A4 or C6/D6 or on a pillar) are also an option but won't be as effective as in a larger party. one of you should have brighteye amulet IV, then preferably the other has guiding lantern iv, or use bag of illusion if neither of you can be bothered with using elderwood potions/bug bombs/etc.

infected tree farming method: clear all regular trees in your target area to open up spawn spots for infected trees, then only cut down infected trees, try to cut them down as quickly as possible after they spawn.

for honey lures i think people usually only catch the infected draugr beetles and the flamehopper frogs, scare away the rest. if you have at least 3 people you can run 2 lures at once

Before I reach out online and possibly mess everything up even worse... I paid to unlock the lunar path. (I've completed one lunar path in the past- Path of the Kitsuu.) For some reason, my lunar points aren't counting and when I try to click the question mark on the lunar path screen, it tells me to unlock the bulletin board by completing a quest I've already done by talking to Kenli. I did go talk to Kenli and there was no mention of something to unlock the bulletin board. I've already completed 2 of the bulletin board bundle and my daily quests. There is something weird with this chair! You are actually the third person I’ve seen with this same problem. You can put down an empty house on your plot and put the chair inside the house. Then pick up the house and you’ll get the chair and the plushie to go into your inventory.

You’re welcome! Freshwater starred fish are currently bugged in the Royal Highlands so the developers added that as a temporary fix so players can at least complete the bulletin board.

I still don't agree, along with many other people, having these quest unlocked so early into the game. Like. I don't think certain things should be activated storyline wise until certain other things are completed in game. Oh, yeah you can’t use items from storage to complete dailies, they have to be caught/gathered that day. If you have starred bugs or fish, you can place them and pick them up and that’ll work too

Only starred starstones (and fish, bugs, and meals) can be placed on your Housing Plot like decor. Keep all the starred ones and maybe a few of the unstarred ones, except rubies, those are rare. Keep all of those.

A few of them are used for quests and the bundles at the Temple of the Night Sky.
