How to Upgrade Your Tools

• All tools have four tiers:
  • Makeshift
  • Standard
  • Fine
  • Exquisite
• Players begin with Makeshift tools which can be upgraded at the worktable with planks & metal bars.
• The recipes for tool upgrades can be purchased at their corresponding Guild Stores upon reaching certain levels in that skill.

The planks and metal bars needed for each tier of the upgrade are in the image below:

You can carry it around in your backpack until January or trash it. I think you can sell it. If you have a courier pet, you can have it bury the ribbon. Claiming a ribbon at the LNY market is either 200 Lucky envelopes, 200 Gold, or 5 Renown.

it's because of the hometown hero outfit, you can't turn it off. it's probably linked to the top specifically (at least the animations usually are)

it usually means you have something attached to the room that needs to be removed first. for example, bay windows, kilima porch, kilima door, fireplace etc. you also can't remove a room that has another room/hallway dependent on it.

I can't continue The King's Voice quest!! It won't let me go to next step. i have talked to everyone, EVEN Hekla. But it keeps telling me to talk to hekla, but when i do: nothing continues. I think this is the one where you have to go talk to the gardener in the ruins in Bahari, not through the gardener hub on your plot.

Hi I'm trying to do my Dailies and I go and hunt/collect the items in world and they don't check off. Does anyone else have this problem. It takes hours and sometimes I miss out.

sometimes they are buggy, if you can take item out of storage/inventoy and place it on ground (if you can depending on item) , otherwise i’d try to relaunch the game but last resort would be to reroll the daily, i’d also make a bug report of which ones are bugging and how many times you tried them

In addition to what Elithesia wrote, if a Daily or quest doesn’t specify Elderwood items, they won’t fulfill the daily or quest.

When you are in the Housing Menu, there is a counter at the top of the screen that tells you how many buildings you have on that plot. Keep in mind that the Alchemist Conservatory and Fireplace are buildings.

there isn't really a best spot, unless you're looking for a particular fish - the most important thing if you want to level up faster is to use worms or glow worms (the latter gives the most xp) and fish in the bubble spots when possible

You're not really not supposed to. Also it's just that Ormuus are solid, and the game's weird physics means smaller animals might push you on top of your ormuus once in a while. I wouldn't call it a glitch so much as an unintentional quirk.

My mom’s tools somehow all reverted back to makeshift and she can’t upgrade anything. Because it requires a makeshift one, but she doesn’t have it.

All tools above makeshift have durability, if the durability reaches 0 the tool will revert to the previous level, you can repair the tools at Sifuus forge using the anvil for a cost of gold, or you can craft repair kits and use those instead, I use gold because I have an abundance and its pretty cheap if you keep up with it, as for not being able to craft higher level tools I'd suggest first restarting the game as it could be a hiccup, and then double checking she has the materials and the recipe to upgrade

Makeshift doesn't get repaired -- she needs to go to her workbench and craft the next tier of tools (standard)

What Miss is referring to is after you craft a higher level tool, you need to continuously repair it so it does not continue to break down (either at the anvil at Sifuu's, or, at the repair station on your own plot; it costs gold at Sifuu's, or, repair kits (which are crafted)).

It’s not letting her do anything with it, though. When she tries to craft the higher tier, it tells her she doesn’t have the tool.

So let me try to explain this how I understand it:
Once a Standard tool breaks, it goes back down to Makeshift and you need to recraft a Standard? Or fix it with Sifuu?

Correct. Makeshift is the base level tool -- then you craft to standard, and then fine, and then exquisite over time. The orange circle around the tool is the decay bar -- it needs to be repaired before that bar totally depletes.

Sometimes, the UI won't let you craft a tool if you have it in your hand/equipped. She should open her tool wheel, select the empty/no tool option, and see if this helps. She can also verify what level of tool she has in the wheel, by hovering over it.

The crafting stations that require input (so worm farms, sawmills, smelters etc) keep working until either the inventory is full or the input has been depleted, even while offline! It's only the garden that works differently, growing only one tick while offline

The medium room is from the harvest house line, so that won't work. The harvest house ones are all that are sold at the city hall (two houses, three rooms, a hallway, the fireplace, porch and door sold there, the bay window sold there and the courtyard sold there).

Go to your player menu, then the inventory. There should be either a tab or a section with various options to equip things like romance pins or pets, depending on your device. One of those is the glider, if you don't have one there, try equipping it there. Also, look through your storage and inventory to see if the gilder got moved in there, you may need to have it in your inventory (backpack, the one you carry with you in the world) to be able to equip it.

The Palia Tracker website has nothing to do with the game -- in order to complete the bundles in game, you need to physically turn those items into the bundle board (or in the night sky temple bundles if you're doing those)

for a more solo approach to making money, fishing, hunting and gardening are decent options as well, gardening being good as it is a passive way to make income, all you really need to do is plant your crops and wait for them to grow, in the meantime, you could do other activities such as fishing and hunting to pass the time

once you reach the required levels to get the preserves jar and seed makers, you can further refine your crops to be seeds or preserves to sell them for even more profit

It sounds like you're not going to the right location for Sabine's resting place. A remembrance candle is not needed for this quest, it's related to something else.

hello, i'm having problems with the quest "All Quiet on the Umbraan Front". i have to collect one of the journals that is supposed to be found in the top left of the elderwood. i've already looked at videos and where this journal is supposed to be, but it is absolutely non existent for me. which to me can only mean that the quest is bugged and just completely uncompletable for me. i've already wasted hours just walking around in the same circle with nothing being there and multiple game restarts

Glitch or bug with th first part of silver wing quest. Cant put the eggs in order. Pick up egg and then it wont let me set it back down. Instead it says " F Place spotted Stinkbug"

The game takes a while to register that the material has been read, so if you've re-read the logbook very slowly and logbook #2 doesn't populate, you'll need to file a player support ticket.

It's a fully new house. If you currently use the harvest houses, you can't attach them to each other, either. But the alchemist and estate bases can be used together.

To remove the house all you have to do is right click it (in the overhead building menu), you'll get a prompt to take everything out as well. So no need to individually pick everything up, the game can do that for you. Then, if you have crafted the alchemist base, you can pick it up from the housing inventory and place it the exact same way you placed the harvest house

Long standing issue, there's nothing you can do to fix this. You'll have to remove outputs in order for more inputs to be processed.

Today I give up and shut the game down. I am fishing for the waterlogged chest but after spending 8hrs+ at the weekends and 3hrs in the evening midweek, I am defeated. I spend 8hrs fishing at the market.....others pulling up chests, me, not even one. Give up. Collected over 1k for the Pebble, just meat, pearls, green pearls, not even a black pearls or the Pebble. Every time I aim to collect something it becomes impossible, frankly joyless. So I give up. I truly enjoyed this game, consumed by it for a year but its actually making me frustrated and depressed instead of cosy and relaxed. Im done.

I know this is not really helpful with being frustrated from grinding, and I can completely understand it if you want to take a break or so, but contacting support about the pebble might be helpful, it's been bugged for some people. Additionally, for black pearls you need to open elder clam mushrooms, not oysters. (And, I 100% feel you on the waterlogged chests, those are really bad to collect due to their low RNG.)

if solo: focus on upgrading brighteye amulet to max, best solo method is probably farming trees to force spawn infected ones (this is usually done at I4/I5) which can get like 2k essence per hour if you have max brighteye amulet, but even just wandering around collecting everything infected you see isn't bad

it will, however, go faster in a party, as you share the effect of your party members' relics. most popular method for farming essence in a party is honey lures in mauvais way. you may be able to find people to do this with in #💬│lfg-chat or #1445866314949202012

During any offline period, you gain Rest XP. The Rest XP is shown as the transparent color in the Lunar Path HUD. For Tadpole path, it's the darkish transparent green color. You can bank up to 24 real life hours worth of Rest XP.

This Rest XP acts as a multiplier. As you gain Lunar XP (the neon green color on the bar), the Rest XP is used to increase the value of your Lunar XP you just earned.

The transparent green bar will decrease while your neon green bar will increase. When you expend all of the banked Rest XP, you will no longer see the transparent green bar on your Lunar Path HUD. Once it is expended, you no longer receive the increased value of earned Lunar XP, and resume earning Lunar XP at the normal rate.

She can try this solution to see if it solves the problem:

1. Login to the Palia Website and go to your account information.
2. Confirm your name/age/country details etc are correct and fill in the missing information and ensure it is saved.
3. Restart your console and try logging back into your PS5 to see if the issue is resolved.

The eggs have a low spawn rate. You can also get a mix of different eggs from ranching, foraging, and gardening. I personally would pick up every forgeable item while I was hunting. If you’re in a party, you can also get a dance of double loot.

I don't think there's any benefit beyond the trophy you get at level 50 and the medals you get with each level increase. Once you get to the point where you're mostly getting starred food when you cook, starred veggies when you harvest, etc., there's no other benefits that I know of.

2 bees and 4 ormuus to keep everyone fed off of milk & honey, skipped the trufflets, sold off the pekis and gloobis as they weren't useful to me, cashed in my roli voucher but didnt keep the animal as I no longer join cooking parties so I have no use for the pink salt, sold off the ferris because I don't need a fruit gathering animal, and I was debating selling the boovars, but the fish they give is a decent passive income

So I have a total of 2 bees, 4 ormuus, 4 boovars, leaving 20 slots open

The wall connected to a hallway is buggy. Change the opening there to an archway (like the one further down your hallway) and apply the wallpaper to the little area around the arch. Then you can switch it back to that style of opening.

There must be something on it. If you ever were trying to merge it with something else, it could be a bowl or a plate that disappeared into the cushions, because that happens. You can put it in an empty house and pick up the house, which will pick up the couch and whatever is attached to it (and you can see on the screen what it was). If you don't have room for an empty house, let me know because there's another trick but it's more involved.

• Yellow Eggs can be found ||by Bug Catching.||

Guys I'm about to submit a palia ticket man! This Ormuu's Horn Wallpaper is supposed to appear the first time you pray to the Phoenix, in a chest at its feet. I know this because my first file has it. But my alt file has prayed to the Phoenix enough to max it, and still no wallpaper!

Question: Temple of Flames Lost Relic/Tomes Steam Achievement

I've found 7 in the temple of flames, is that.. all or am I missing one? I've been all over the place in every chamber and I haven't gotten the achievement yet. My friend who is new to the game for like.. a week has it and I asked them but they kinda gave a shrug off and just said they found them easily.

Is the achievement bugged for some or am I missing one somewhere?

i think there’s only 7, steam achiv has been buggy for some (you’ll probably get it randomly later) , you can report it if you want to let them know it’s still buggy?

have you tried using a video walkthrough? (make sure to double check with a 2nd video or check video comments as i know some of these video guides are sometimes missing one). as far as i'm aware, the achievement is usually only bugged for people who started the game on steam in 2025 before they released a fix. if you've followed walkthroughs and still don't have it, put in a support ticket with screenshots of you reading all the tomes
