Nothing you can do to prevent this, just interact with them while they're upside down. The dialogue goes as normal.

Try the gardening room they know EVERYTHING you will need to know about gardening, I go tomato and potato in a checker pattern myself.

Okay, then I would try to restart the game and try to collect the items again. If it doesn’t work that time, you could try rerolling for other items to see if that works. If it continues not to let you claim them, you could submit a bug report

you buy pumpkin seeds from tamala's potion store for 500 infected essence, you can buy pumpkins themselves from the daiya family farm and convert that to seeds once you reach gardening lvl 5 and bought the recipe

You should follow Alexus' guide for the 2026 chests. It would be extremely unusual for them not to spawn. You should go to every location and take screenshots showing the 2026 chests are not present and submit a player support ticket so they can assist you.

Last week I put two sandbox bounce Shroom in two gazebos. I noticed this week they are gone. I tried moving the gazebo to look under it thinking maybe they fell through the floor of it, but I can’t find them anywhere on the plot.

They are sometimes asked for in a daily, but that one's been bugged forever, so no point in saving them for that.

Shutting down the console and coming back to it will do that resync process. This is generally what support recommends for returning lost items. If it doesn't work, you can contact them for further help.

You can't stack three buildings without glitching, no. But there is essentially three stories, because there is an attic space under the roof that you can access with stairs.

Has anyone on PC had issues with pressing enter to open the chat recently? I'm mostly only encountering this on my home plot, but basically whenever I go to hit the enter key on my keyboard to open the chat, it behaves as if I've pressed alt+enter and switches between windowed and full screen mode. I understand your frustration.
If you're ranching level 10, you're able to buy Fancier Breed Biscuits for 10 ranching medals from the Ranching Store. They are also possible drops from Uncommon treat packs (obtained from donating animals with high enough value).

You can buy them from the Ranching Guild Store once you reach level 10 in Ranching for 10 Ranching medals. You can also find them sometimes in Uncommon Treat Packs.

Unfortunately, if you didn’t activate the new path, there is no way to obtain the XP you would have earned. You can still earn XP toward the new path by completing dailies and using your skills. This path is pretty short, so hopefully shouldn’t take too long!

The path and the bundle board are separate. If you activate the path you can get points towards it by doing dailies and just playing the game.

is there any alternative to builders blocks for a "raised" area to place kegs etc on, that won't teleport them to the entrance?

I don’t believe you can place crafters on anything without them teleporting to the entrance but you can confirm with the people in #🏡│decor

You can float them to make them look like they are on the builders items. They just need to be anchored to the ground outside, and then you basically put the builders blocks/floors under the floating crafters.

Also, they can be on blocks if they are outside. It's just if they are on the blocks inside on your floor that they teleport.

Hi! to figure out what Najuma wants, you'll need to go to the Bulletin Board in the middle of Kilima Village, click the Weeklies tab, then click the Discover button. This should take you to your relationships, and fill out all the NPC's weekly wants!
You'll then be able to view Najuma's weekly wants, and doing this should trigger the next step in your quest.

Hello! Have you been able to buy things from Hassian before? You need to be at least at hunting level 2 to buy anything from him, and hunting level 10 to be able to buy arrows from him. Before that, you need to craft the arrows on your home plot's work table.

Theres not much you can do wrong etiquete in the hotpot of the majimarket

you can join any game the only thing really 'frowned upon' is if theres already a group of 4 at the table about to start their next game then dont 'steal' one of thier spots but its not that deep

i'd suggest looking up the rules (of hotpot) so you understand them, or ask! makes the whole thing smoother for you. :) other than that, if you need to go afk for a while in the middle of a game, leave the current one. otherwise everyone has to wait for your entire round to pass everytime (30sec each time until the game ends). this isnt really an etiquette thing but just considerate! have fun!

ah, no! your gameplay doesnt really affect others. so dont stress and just take your time figuring it out ^^

The only hotpot you need to worry about is in the ug as some will say spampot back table meaning they just play fast without the rules of hotpot and if you join those they might get annoyed at times :D, but in the new year maji market there is no avtually use to spampot so everyone plays normal 🙂

But yes, if you wanted to check your accomplishments -- those are in-game but are separate from/are not quests.

Hi! I don't understand how do you valid daily quest.

I have a quest "Sans Exception I" in french which ask me to make 2 copper ingots. I made them but can't get the quest done...

Dailies require brand new items. So that means you either have to make them, collect in the wild, and sometimes you can buy the item (like for copper bars, buying from Sifuu)

You may need to try restarting your game. This may help the daily trigger.

If that doesn't help, you can try buying a copper ingot from Sifuu to see if that helps.

Other players have reported waiting a few hours and coming back to the daily and it worked later. Some players have rerolled the other daily to help "refresh" the daily board, and this helped the daily to trigger.

If all else fails, submit a bug report documenting your issue.

When you see that box, it means you've already picked up that quest starter. A Very Old… Grocery List starts the quest The Great Human Bake-Off specifically.

It's a kitsuu. The bar to the right shows your progress in the Lunar Path that you have active, in this case the Path of the Kitsuu. The red number is showing how many milestones you have unlocked and not yet claimed.

You're welcome! Everyone is automatically enrolled in the Path of the Kitsuu, since that is the first Lunar Path. When you complete a path or if you want to switch, you must activate the next one that you want by clicking the lightning bolt icon in the Lunar Path screen.

That's too bad. I've done almost everything, including being over 100 in all my skills except ranching (93). If I knew that there were quests in game that I haven't stumbled across yet, I would try to find them. I'm not willing to go through my whole list of completed quests though. Sometimes an unstable connection can result in odd server connection problems. I've encountered the same thing where loot bags weren't visible, and a few mins later I lost server connection and had to refresh/restart

I'm encountering the problem where I've followed guides and videos for every spot, and there aren't chests showing, but the stamp card says I still need 1.

If you're positively following a 2026 guide and a chest has not spawned for you/your stamp card doesn't update, you'll need to contact player support for further assistance with that. To help speed up your ticket, go to every chest location and take a screenshot showing it is not there. Then, take a screenshot of your stamp card and any chests you have collected to show your total number of chests. They should be able to help you forward after that

You’ll also notice a change to the way Hot Pot works at the Fairgrounds for Luna New Year. Instead of the game ending when the deck runs out, discarded cards will now reshuffle back into the deck, allowing the game to continue. Hello, weekly wants have just resetted, so I was going around giving NPCs their wants. But a lot of them said i already gave them certain items? At first I thought it was just a coincidence, but I’m getting rejected so often now that i feel like it might be a bug. Has anyone else ever had this problem before? I also usually see thumbs up and hearts above the items people like, but they’re not showing up for me now. I did experience some server problems earlier. If you've only done dig site number 1 in red blossom cave, Auni and Naio should be right behind you to update them.

If they are not located in red blossom cave, if you haven't already, try restarting your game (shut palia down completely).

If that doesn't work, you can try resyncing your system date and time while palia is shut down. Then, see if they've come back to red blossom cave for the update part.

For the drops on twitch I will watch for all the hours needed but not get everything.
For example the most recent one I only got the bags from watching twitch streams no plushie and no envelopes !

The screenshot you sent shows you claimed them 5 days ago? So its not a matter of 'they may be delayed, wait 24 hours'.

I will note, because you mentioned not receiving the envelope, the envelopes are a currency (Lucky Envelopes) that are used in the current Lunar New Year market. These appear in your currency tab, not as an item in your inventory.

Just because support is a last resort, could you double-check your news tab in case your rewards came in without a notification, as well as your storage for the Pink Maji Plush?

Travel to the Fairgrounds where the Maji Market is held. You’ll bring your blank wish ribbon to the dye station that is to the right of the Wish Tree. Each dye color will give you a different reward:

Pink - 5 Renown
Orange - 200 Gold
Blue - 200 Lucky Envelopes

After dyeing your ribbon, you’ll go the wish tree to deposit your wish ribbon.

After the next day, you’ll be able to retrieve you wish ribbon at the station to the level of the Wish Tree and should receive your chosen rewards.

It doesn't appear to add up things that you buy one after another. For example, I bought three LNY stools, and they are under 2K tichets each, and I got no coin for teh wheel. Does it only count if you spend on one item?

Yes, you need to complete the treasure chest track on the bulletin board to get the Roli voucher in the fifth chest. Dailies, weekly NPC gifts and weekly skills guild contribute bulletin board XP.

You can access Elderwood at any time by going to Bahari Bay and using the Elderwood gate, iy is to the left of the Outskirts entrance (you can access Bahari Bay through the back gate of your plot)

Hello, I am not sure this is intentional but it feels like it would be a mistake. Is everyone else also only allowed to request 20x ancient amber? I thought the numbers were primarily based off item rarity and with ancient amber being an epic material it doesn't make sense to me.

Your weekly skills guild challenges should contribute XP towards your treasure track, so if you continue to do those and don't see any progress, may want to submit a support ticket in case it's an error!

You should submit a detailed bug report documenting which dailies it is, and all the steps you took to get them to register, such as: restarting the game, restarting the game + recollecting items, rerolling dailies, or waiting a few hours to try and claim again.

If none of those solutions work, you may need a bug report. As a side note, items from storage do not count for dailies.

No no -- your weekly NPC gifts will count just fine (as well as dailies and doing whatever bundle boards you can).

If you're not at level 10 in a skill yet, you won't have the weekly skills guild challenges I referenced earlier.

If you want to use the same account, you’ll login with the same account that you use on PC and everything will be the same. It sounds like you’re wanting a fresh start, so you’ll make a new Palia account (with a different email) when it asks you to login on your PS5 or alternatively you can make a local account for your PS5. However, if you have a local account, it will only be available to play on your PlayStation and cannot be played on other platforms and you will not be able to claim Twitch rewards unless you upgrade your account, so I highly suggest making a new Palia account to connect to your PlayStation

Well the Maji Market is ran differently anyway, it doesn’t follow the same rules as the Underground. For example, the game typically would end after 16 rounds. For Maji Market, it’ll continue going until a player wins, so they are just coded differently

My dailies are not computing, and I've reset the game. What should I do?

If you are having issues completing dailies:

Make sure the items have been gathered today. You cannot complete dailies by using items from storage.

If you’ve already done this, you can try restarting the game and gathering the items again to fix the issue. If you’re on PC, try doing a full restart. Completely turn off your device and restart the game. There are some dailies that have been reported to have issues, so if they are still not completing, you may be able to use a reroll ticket to get a different item.

If you are still experiencing issues after that, then I suggest putting in a ticket with player support with screenshots attached. Hopefully that helps!

I would try to get the items by actually gathering them in the game yourself after you do the full restart. I know you used to be able to complete dailies from requests, but they patched being able to get items from storage a while ago, so it’s possible the same thing happened with item requests. I don’t believe they need to be in your inventory when you’re claiming them, but you are welcome to see if that helps

The only other quests aside from the main story quests and the relationships quests would be discovery quests. You could try going through the wiki and see if you’ve completed all of them by comparing them to your completed quest log in game:

Is anyone able to clarify a confusion regarding the pet licenses? This is just to permit use of already raised ranch animals as pets, yes?
Then also, all other pets after the gaulder pup, do they also have the ability to ferry items back to your plot, and is it always four slots, never a full row?

It seems it is 4 slots if you have the ingame quest pet unlocked. The other 4 are from the founder pack in the store.

There are handler licenses which allow you to use one of your ranch animals as a pet, but there are also generic pets that you can purchase from the Premium Store. All pets will have the courier pet feature. To unlock the courier pet feature, you have to complete the questline that starts with Hexomancy 101. This will give you 4 slots. The 4 additional slots you can get by purchasing the Founder’s Pack from the Premium Store

Did You Get Stuck in Palia?

Try this:

• Press Esc (PC), Start (controller), or + (Switch) and find the Unstuck Button
• Type /unstuck in chat (in the language your game is set to)
• Open the map and click Return Home
• Use a Hearth Potion to teleport home

Depending on your level in game, there is a few items or foods that can be used to help it make it easier to fish.

If you’re a lower level, I’d suggest using Fisherman’s Brew because it expands the reticle (safe zone) size when you’re fishing so it’s easier to keep the fish between the lines.

Once you’re level 10 in fishing, you can purchase fishing attachments with medals. I suggest the Major Safe Size Zone Booster for the same reason as the Fisherman’s Brew.

There are other foods and fishing attachments that may help, so I can provide information for those if you’re curious or you could also ask the players in #🐟│fishing-mining as they’ll probably have some suggestions as well!

The treasure chest can be found in the Deep Woods, behind some purple crates against the wall between the entrance to the Central Stables and Lilac Cavern.

A lot of people say focus on the Phoenix, but I try to keep them somewhat balanced because if you max out the Phoenix for 100% bonus, but still have low max focus, you'll be eating all the time to refill it.

It really depends on the player. If you’re new to the game, I suggest leveling up your focus bar a little bit, just so you don’t have to bring a lot of food with you. If you’re trying to level up your skills, you’d want to upgrade your focus bonus.

When a server gets old (has been running for a while) it starts to get slower and players can experience more lag. As a way to minimise this, Palia devs have implemented a feature that moves you to a new server once the one you're on becomes 'old' (usually around 5 hours, but it can vary server to server).
Server age is displayed underneath your server region in hh:mm format.
The feature is still new and being adjusted. If you believe it's not working correctly, contact support and let them know how it's affecting you.

yea thats something to keep in mind, you need to freshly grab the item and not from your chests, the dailies are meant for you to go out in the world and obtain the item, not just casually auto complete it because you happened to already own the item

Elderwood Lotuses are a rare forage, so they're more difficult to find than the orchids which are common. Look around swampy boggy areas, like Mauvais Way, and around De Mer Dock. You can also use a dowsing rod to help you track rare forage

If you don't want to continually add Ferts, yeah, putting multiple down is a convenience. I usually stack x100 Ferts on most of my plants, the fert will persist after/can be taken back up if the plant doesn't use all the fert laid down

I know for me personally, for example on my apple trees, I need to have the fert on the trees for several growth cycles (there are 12 total) in order to get the 24 apples versus 16 apples.

Landscapes only apply to the "backgrounds" of the plot; you can apply them to any plot. You buy new plots by using the drop down menu from your overhead view and clicking on the "+ New Plot" option

You probably need to go back and slowly re-read all your collected journals/logs for this quest. Once the game registers you've read every page, the item should spawn for you.

the name plates can be acquired multiple different ways! for instance, there's one you can buy at the maji market right now. some are random drops in the killima bloom event. you can do home tours and after 25, there's a name plate that's earned. there's even more ways than that! you can equip them in your collections tab. that's the same place you equip your pet

You need to complete the quests lines in Elderwood and then you'll receive quests to learn how to capture infected items.

That's all it does. There were changes made to fishing in May 2025 that allowed the ancient fish to be accessible to all players.

It’s a random chance. My understanding is that you also have to complete the quest The Gardener’s New Oneness to unlock flow tree seeds. Also the Ancient Galdur Statue looks different and is different from the Gardener’s Hub.

You can't have a friendship with the Ancient Galdur Statue, btw. It has a tree sapling growing out of its head. It sounds like you're referring to the gardener hub from a quest line.

Flametongue Ray is more attracted to Glow Worms, and can be caught in Kilima Rivers in Kilima Valley, during the morning and day (3:00 AM - 6:00 PM).

Giant Kilima Stingray is more attracted to Glow Worms, and can be caught in Kilima Lake in Kilima Valley, during the morning, day and evening (3:00 AM - 9:00 PM).

make sure you are fishing in the correct waters! eating sushi will give a fishing buff. make sure you're paying attention to what time they're out, so you're not fishing unnecessarily.

to add, you can check the server age underneath where it shows you the server region.
from what i've seen, most servers start winding down around the 5 hour mark. If you're planning to stay in one server for a while (for decorating, cooking, a party, etc) it may be a good idea to server hop to a 'younger' server, to reduce the risk of your server winding down in the middle of a task

Hey guys, I'm on the prismbeard lost treausre (part 4) which is the riddle to find the sliding puzzle room but the riddle is super confusing to me?

The riddle says "Now that you've found my spots hidden three Return to the place where me face carved be Speak out these words and receive your due prize: "A fitting reward for Prismbeard's demise".

The whole riddle is super illierate?

parts 1, 2, and 3 of this quest were finding secret/hidden locations relating to prismbeard (so his 3 hidden spots)

Return to the place where me face carved be
his face is carved into the sliding puzzle tiles so go back there

Speak out these words and receive your due prize: "A fitting reward for Prismbeard's demise"
once you're at the location, you'll get a dialogue prompt to say something, and you must choose the correct phrase to pass

There are two options that come to mind, either you've already reached the maximum (1000 focus total) or you're encountering the bug where the shrine won't work that some players have been running into for a while now.

They are on the trunks of the very large trees with mossy trunks. You can find them anywhere you can find these trees. Mitana Grove and Mauvis Way are good places to look.

Hey guys I'm trying to finish the quests where I have to fulfill 5 weekly villager requests and fulfill 1 player request but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do

Heya! 🙂

Start by going to the bulletin board in the center of Kilima Village. Interact with it and on the left you should see an option called "Discover". This will populate the weekly wants for all the villagers. (Refreshes every Monday)

Then you can hit the "L" key to see all your relationships with all the villagers. Clicking their portrait will give you your progress with them socially. At the top right, you will see their weekly wants. Deliver 5 total of villager wants. This is done by talking to the villager and selecting the little Gift Icon at the bottom left. This will open your inventory. Click the item you wish to gift 🙂

To fulfill player requests, you hit the "O" key to open the social panel. On the right you will see the panel has three tabs. Click each one to get acquainted with them. If you click the requests tab in the center, then click the little tab with the present icon, these are the requests players are making for items. This is roughly how we trade in game and help one another out 🙂

If you have an item that a player needs, you can fulfill that order and complete your quest 🙂

By selling things in your shipping bin. Produce you farm, fish you catch, meat/fur/hides you hunt, bugs you catch. As you get further in the game, you can make more money by processing these things (turning produce into pickles/preserves, hides into leather, etc). You can also sell stuff to Zeki--it's the same as the shipping bin, but you don't have to wait for 6 am or 6 pm to come around in the game.

You have to wait out the cooldown, or request a hearth potion. If you have a friend online who has a plot available to tour, you can try to tour their plot from their profile and then return home from there.

If you haven't replied to the ticket, you may need to do so, so this way they know you still need assistance.

Sometimes, a new ticket needs to be submitted in case yours gets accidentally closed/etc.

weird glitched text I got he was just as confused as me

i have the "proper courtship" quest, where you have to meet Hassian in his grove. i have been there multiple times, waited outside to talk to him through the door, and he isnt showing up for me. i seen him in kilima for a split second and he had the highlighted text bubble above his head, but then he disappeared and i couldnt talk to him. is this a known bug or am i doing something wrong? tia < 3

Hassian is in his grove from 10pm - 3am in game. Alternatively, do you have any other quests involving him? sometimes NPCs get "stuck" in an area you're supposed to meet them.
For example, I couldn't find Nai'o in his regular spots, because I had to meet him in the elderwood for a quest.

Either craft it once you have a recipe or purchase one from Tish's shop if one rotates through.

I don't know what it is on controller, but it's the overhead view where you can see your plot from above. From there you can click on the blueprints for houses (on the left side of the screen) and then you can place them where you want on your plot (and move them around after you place them, too).

You need to craft the estate house on your worktable first before they end up in the overhead view map 🙂

does anyone know how to change servers on steam deck?

For any device, you can swap servers by leaving the map though a gate or by going into your friends list, and clicking "join sever", on a friend that happens to be on the same map but not in the same server as you. Your luck with that will increase if you have lots of friends in game. So may be easier to leave map and come back. Like, perhaps for the bloom in kilimia you can go home, the underground, the fair grounds or bahari and come back. Be warned if you are in a party you will most likely auto sync back to them and wont end up on a different server using the gate method and will either have to leave the party, swap to a friend, or have them map swap with you. Friends list i believe is the menu button on steam deck
