I think I have a bug. My English isn't very good, so I don't know how to describe my problem clearly. I'm using a translator. There's something I'm supposed to have done, but nothing shows up. I researched the problem and found that some people have the same issue, and it resolved itself after a while, but this is very annoying and hinders my interactions with the villagers I'm working on when I'm in the village.

You should be clicking and holding until you get to the circle, then release.

Harder to feed ranch animals after the recent patch. I can only feed them one item at a time then it automatically clicks out to where I'd pet them instead of feeding them. So, I have to click back into feeding them for every single piece of food

Hearty vegetable soup starts at the stove and then you can prep the ingredients at the prep station.

I need to complete the quest to create a bond with a suitable villager, but I can't start the quest because it doesn't give me the option to continue the quest when I talk to Reth, even though the quest is activated. if you're talking about 'Find Your Shepp', finish reth's level 4 friendship quest and wait a few days and the shepp option should come back. (might need to go all the way to his lvl 5 friendship quest, i don't remember)

Were you able to pick up the candles? I'd suggest bring the couch with the candles outside and then try to point on one of the candles if the game lets you to pick it then (had the same problem).

You need a barn bell to get to your ranch -- have you constructed one of those yet/placed the one from Delaila?

No idea how you had animals before without being able to get to your Ranch, but will believe you did have animals

Have them resync their systems date and time. If this doesn't work they need to file a support ticket. And, they have to be online to be invited to the community.

Are your animals eligible to be donated? Some animals are not eligible due to a "new in town" timer.

Another issue I have been having is I can no longer talk or see chat. Someone gave me some stuff to try, it didnt work. Unfortunately we are just other players here, but start with clearing cache and cookies in your browser, try an incognito tab, and try a different browser. If none of these work you may need to submit a ticket under the account management section as that doesn't require you to log in

afaik there isn't a limit other than the flower / furniture limit. Sounds like an unfortunate bug, I'd try to just place them from your inventory rather than storage. Might be worth sending in a support ticket!

yesterday the quest with Chayne to interact with the new board came up and I talked with him then the game glitched and took the quest away while I was struggling to exit my housing plot (im able to exit now) has anyone else had this issue and managed to have Chayne come back to their house to tell you about the board or the board magically work again??? I'd like to fill out the board rather than look at it like decor :)

Oh darn. Submit a player support ticket as soon as you can with screenshots showing you can't access the board, that Chayne is not on your plot (would see his icon on your plot compass), and that talking to him brings up no option for the quest. Describe what happened (your glitchy plot exit), and see what they can do for you.

Make sure streamer mode isn't turned on, as this will stop chat messages from appearing.

For support website, use the account management ticket if you're stuck in the login loop.

If you were cooking a dish that gives high xp and you have a high focus bonus, it will use a lot of your focus bar.

Depends on the furniture made or what you're harvesting. Different things give different experience. that's from the New In Town status, it affects newly purchased animals for like 3-4 hours after purchase. it's presumably so you can't just keep buying and donating animals over and over. though notably bred animals do not have that restriction.

No, I was trying to see where your quest line may have been bugged. Home and Back Again is the follow-up quest to Nurture of Shadows, so if that is not in your quest log (either completed log or open log), then you have not reached the third stage of this quest series.

I would try to make a soon tofu and complete this quest, to see if you can get the third and final quest (Home and Back Again) to trigger for you.

This is going to sound so silly, but does anyone know how to remove fertilizer from a plot? I was growing only HQ stuff for a long time, but it's really hard not being able to make normal quality recipes, so I was thinking of going back to gardening a whole whack of NQ stuff, but the fertilizer doesn't seem to end even though I haven't re-applied it in forever LOL. Thanks!

Are you concerned about cooking? You can click "use starred ingredients" and it will allow all ingredients to be used in the recipe.

As for fert, there's no way to manually remove it. Sometimes when you re-plant over a previously fertlized spot, it will give you the fertilizer back.

And, Level 25 gardening, all your produce will be starred as well. So there is no avoiding starred produce eventually.

if you place 1 of a different type of fertilizer on the tile, it will refund the fertilizer that's currently on it. but frogga is right in that eventually you'll always get starred crops anyway, you may already be at that point

I might be messing something up, then! 'Cause right now for example, if I wanna cook something, it won't let me use one or the other if I've selected either HQ or NQ. And I wouldn't mind just using my HQ veggies, but it's been digging into all my HQ forgeables like my garlic/mushrooms/sprouts/etc. which is so hard to replace, aha.

Selecting "use starred ingredients" will allow you to use ALL ingredients you have, starred and unstarred. The UI will just prioritize starred, but will use the unstarred if it's what you have

Lock up the starred items you do not want to be used during cooking into your lockbox

Ooooh okay, thank you! That was my follow-up is that I just don't wanna waste my HQ forage items! Good to know that I don't need to worry about NQ/HQ crops though, I've been playing for hundreds of hours and I had NO idea they were starred at a certain level!

Yep! Totally understand wanting to save those starred items -- just slap them in the lockbox during cooking so they aren't pulled. I always do the same when I'm cooking in groups, I want to save my starred dari hehe.

Also this is equally goofy of a question, but I did Jina's quest for unlocking some library I think? I feel like I'm TOTALLY missing a room or something (I get turned around so easy lmfao). I unlocked it, and I ran around and I didn't see anything to do and the quest completed and I'm like "There's no way they'd make me do riddles to get into a place for it to be empty?" But I didn't see anything of interest. So I left, and a few days later a daily dialogue with Jina had her frustrated going "I wanted to give you first dibs on looking through the library because you opened it, but..." and alluded to being mad that I "didn't" haha. Am I missing something in there?

Yes exactly! I'm just about out of my HQ/starred forage items and I'm so sad LOL. 'Cause whew they're hard to get, but I didn't know I could just throw them in a lockbox to keep them safe! I'll start doing that, omg you're a lifesaver! Now I'm wondering what other level perks there are that I have no idea about. 😂

no there isn't anything special to do in the library, you can just ignore jina's dialogue about not having been in there. (i think you come back there for some other quest at some point, but only to read some books)

and there aren't any other skill level perks that we know about. some people may claim there are (e.g. some people believe raising cooking level increases chance of starred food), but there's no evidence for that as far as i'm aware.

Oh man, so there's really nothing in the library once you open it? I ran around and it felt like so much to go through to gain access to a room that's effectively empty LOL. I was expecting maybe a recipe or journal at least! Hm, weird. Good to know I didn't miss anything, especially with her dialogue it definitely felt like maybe there was a hidden room I didn't see or something. It wouldn't be the first time I completely missed an entire doorway or something. 😂

Depends which library, but all of the ”hidden” areas should have achievements/knowledge related to them

I did notice on steam that I was part of maybe like 0.3% who had done the knowledge quests, so apparently a lot of people just run past doing the quests and never actually explore :D

"The 20th Sacred Flower is currently not available" according to S6 on Discord on 23 May. It is supposed to drop when finishing the "Fit for a Queen Bee" quest but, obviously, doesn't. A few people have had a glitch double drop and have been able to finish all the shrines. S6 has not said when it will be fixed

Are you using a Fine Hoe? And are you hoeing multiple times?

Only catch butterflies, so the duskwing has a chance to spawn but if it's just yourself, I think you won't get a duskwing to spawn or it'll just take longer like few hours or hope rng God will bless you with a plushy. With a team or server takeover with 3 lures at Maji's will help though

There's streamer mode in settings but appears as "mode" right after you see "wrap action bar". Also hides your name too. If someone has a nameplate activated, you'll be seeing that too and the icon beside their name, like Xbox icon for example. I think it disables chat too❓👀

Has anyone had a glitch in "It Takes a Village Quest?" I can't get over to the other island to get the treasure for Zeki's quest because the fan thing doesn't work. I've tried it 3 different times. I've completed the other quests already. Idk what to do.

You have to complete all three It Takes a Village, this unlocks the final fan to get to the final island.

It seems that the way to get it is to stockpile about 1000 oysters and then open them all at once I did this and got it around 200 opened but others have got it at 400/500 or more. I just decided to grab 20 every time I was in Bahari so it didn’t overwhelm me and accepted as a longer term project

the theory is actually a lag issue where when you load into kilima the game loses your player and you get teleported deep under the map

If you block them they won't show up in your chat and you won't connect to servers they're in. This server can't help much with the ban side though, that has to be done through the in-game report/the website I believe

Are you positive they are checking in the correct locations? There is a website that can help them locate them. I would recommend using that, going to the locations they are specified for today, and then seeing if they are there. If they are not, your friends should take a screenshot of where the pile should be, showing it's not there for them, and then send in a player support ticket.

If you're on PC is very easy, close Palia and the platform (steam, launcher, epic) and then open your date and time settings from the windows search bar, and then on the pop up you'll see a sync now button. Hit that, regardless of if it says it's synced or not. And then reopen Palia. Could help!

And for Xbox, it's as simple as completely shutting down the console, letting it rest for a couple mins, and restarting it.

Your palia.com account can be linked to more than one console if you wanted to do so (i.e., you can link to Xbox, PS5, switch, PC all at the same time).

If you're for sure your palia.com account here is the one you logged into your console with, and the drops don't come within 48 hours, you can submit a player support ticket and they can advise you further.

Last night I crafted more Winterlight trees, ornaments, and tree topers for an existing Winterlight plot I created last year. When I went to place the ornaments on the tree I noticed that the placement would throw an error message. In some instances, it looked like it was going to accept the placement, but it would then throw the ornament into the ground. I had three different ornaments and a tree topper and kept getting similar errors. Mind you - I have decorated trees from last year on the plot already. Anyone else experience this yet?

So you're missing an email, which means you never linked your palia.com account to your switch. This is why you cannot get twitch drops. You will need to submit a player support ticket so they can link the existing palia.com account you have (the one you linkeds to twitch) to your switch.

If you're not getting them in game -- the palia.com account you have set up with Twitch may not be linked to your actual Palia game. Does that make sense?

It sounds like you may have 2 palia.com accounts -- one you made on your console, and then one you've set up with twitch drops.

The way you can confirm if your account is linked appropriately to your console is to log into palia.com, go to the account management section, and see if your in-game character name is at the bottom of the screen.

We can only have 1 palia.com account at a time -- and if the palia.com account you're logged into in your screenshot does not have your character at the bottom, then you are not linked to the palia game itself.

There are different regions and the game will automatically put you in the one with the least latency for you, but you should still be able to server sync with friends in other regions.

It may be an issue on his side. I used to play with a UK based group primarily and we synced to EU and NA servers with no issues. They have servers in different parts of the world, yes -- but there's nothing special to do to access them in Palia. I play on EU servers a lot since I sync to my UK friends

that's your system then! so you can close palia and exit steam completely. then, right click the date and time in your task bar and hit "adjust time" and then hit sync now button on the next pop up (even if it says its synced). go back to palia and see if you can equip a tool and then use it

Ummm I have a problem or I dont understand someting, when i removed my alchemist cottage B roof (the like round roof) and then put it back it came out not as it was but just triangular. How do I change it to its normal form like the only options for roof are flat roof and roof and the roof that I bought the alchemist cottage B for is gone 😭

Yeah that overhang is an edge roof part iirc. There are extra bits that can attach to the roof at little green spots on that apex at the top, a la Builder’s furniture set, like the wooden bridges.

As you can see, it’s still triangular beneath that awning, which juts out from the building.

The whole deal of the In-Line housing is it’s modular, meaning the unique appearances of any home using this style comes from how and where you place your little accessories.

The sacred flower wiki page is 100% up to date. Use this as a guide and then follow Kittey's instructions on taking screenshots at every location to show youve collected it/it's not there, and then send that into support.

I have been gathering from all the spots, found the chests, done the quests bought from Tamala, hunted waveback and piksi so I don't know where the last one I'm missing is supposed to be. Only thing left is if the hunting flower takes time or if it should be there first time i hunt those types

Most people miss the treasure chest hidden by the pond. Have you looked at the pictures of the 7 hidden locations for the flowers on the wiki page?

I seem to be unable to locate a functioning flow grove. I find grives but there are no trees in them. Is a patch coming soon for that?

You're using the glass smelter, correct? And when you say they're not there for you to pick up, do you mean they are not in the finished outputs? And, have you ensured your smelter isn't full/therefore isn't processing?

Yes I'm using the glass smelter, no theyre not in the finished section there is nothing in the finished section.

Alrighty. You should take a video capture of this if you can, and send in a bug report. There's nothing we could do on the player side to fix this if you've confirmed you're using the right equipment, inputting the right material and the correct amount. A video capture on the last few seconds of the glass pane production would be most helpful, so that it captures the job finishing, but the product not going to the outputs.

If they're struggling to save money that's below 25k, I'm assuming they're not using a very developed character yet. Yes, getting worms from a worm farm is best, but worms are really cheap to just buy to get more valuable fish to sell to cover the cost. Their crafter space on their plot is better used for a glow worm farm.

Could somebody tell me if my game is glitched or not. I'm trying to complete the proof of magic guest in the temple where you find all the tablets for caleri and elouisa. I've found all of caleris but not elouisa's. I've watched walkthroughs to find all of them and I have found and read them but it's not counting it in the quest to complete it. I've tried to do this many times and keep coming back to finish it and it doesn't work.

The final piece of evidence is on the final island, of which you need to do all three It Takes A Village quests to unlock the air stream that takes you to the final island.

If you have Adventure on the Horizon, True Treasure or Prismbeard Lost Treasure Auni and Nai'o are locked to those quests and wont appear on the maps.

If youve finished those double check Elderwood as Nai'o goes there now

Based on these pics, I do not see the Goldwing location/study #500, which is the piece most people miss on the Final Island.

Unless it's your third pic? It's a little hard to tell, but I relooked and that may be the correct shelf.

You can send in a player support ticket with these screenshots, or, restart your game and come back to the 4 evidences to see if they trigger; if not, ask for further assistance via player support.

Just closed the game turned off restarted my console went back to the game and retired it and it worked.

the spyglass will not be in your inventory there is a Quest Gear tab just like with your fishing lure and stuff. Idk what system you are on

You're likely in the wrong location for the home, as the quest clue is correct. Your spyglass is accessed by clicking the quest gear slot in your accessories bar, or accessories page if you're on consoles.

I checked my “Quest Gear” tab as well as normal inventory. What I meant in my previous post by “all inventories.” Still no spyglass….
His childhood home is located at A4-5 in the Elderwoods. The statue that I need to interact with isn’t there. Is there perhaps someone here with more information?

It's because you haven't equipped the spyglass. If you don't have the spyglass, you can't see the quest objective. The spyglass is not an inventory item. It will be in your quest gear slot, you click it to equip it. Can you screenshot your quest gear slot from your accessories bar, not your quest inventory bag.

Sorry if we're misunderstanding, but your use of "quest gear tab" and "inventories" makes me perceive you may not be looking in the correct spot for the spyglass.

It is never in your quest inventory either. It's not in any of the inventory slots, ever. You equip it by clicking the bubble next to your glider. No, it's not explained well and yes this confuses people all the time.

If it's not able to be equipped in that bubble you'll need to file a support ticket, but we should double check this part first with a screenshot 🙂
