yes, once watered to full maturity, and a couple waters after that, it will give you a seed to replant, the cycle continues as many as you like

That red icon under 'additional stations' indicates you need a second mixing station- eventually you will need 2 of each station to make one of every recipe in game

Yeah it's not very well explained at first but as you level up and cook more complicated recipes you'll need those extra stations for all the additional steps.

not entirely. if you’ve placed bay windows and want to remove them, go to the overhead view of your plot and scroll over them. it’s fussy, so zoom in if you’re having trouble selecting them. if you want to change the window shape, you can do that from the same menu you use to change your room to room entryways. no entirely windowless option tho.

Start at one end of the coastline and work you way to the other end picking up everything you see, oysters, shells, and the coral along the way.
They all share the same spawn points and this will make room for more oysters to spawn in and just keep going back and forth, up and down the coast.

Pressing the tab key cycles to the other chat categories and it sometimes automatically switches to "whisper" when you change map zones so you typically have to hit tab before chatting in a new map zone (like going from baha to kilima)

I don't know if it's because I haven't got my controls set properly or i'm just stupid but how do i use the stuff in my inventory? I'm a bit confused, my bag is red and my box on my plot is full - can i not swap things from box to the red line which i am assuming is my backpack? I was able to use something by pressing one of the numbers on my keyboard and then i moved onion seeds there and was able to plant some but for some reason can't plant more? So I can't swap out anything to get the carrot seeds. I don't understand storage/backpack...

sounds like the 'red line' you're referring to might be your inventory overflow - which is an extra line you get at the bottom of your inventory when your inventory's full. you can't move things into the overflow, only out of it.

it's a bit hard to tell what's going on with you not being able to plant more seeds without seeing a screenshot

it's a good idea to put items you want to use often in the bottom row of your inventory. that's the row that shows by default at the bottom when you've got your inventory closed (the action bar). but you can make your action bar scroll through all the rows in your inventory using the mouse scroll wheel so you can use items in other rows as well.

If you're able to, using a dowsing rod really helps! Along with running the entire coast and picking up all the forages along the way, or server hopping by syncing to online friends or reloading your game for a fresh server can all help respawn more moss.

Here are all the possible spawn points where the dragons peat can be located. Another tip I've heard is handy is (on pc) to drop your foliage settings to low so you can see the forages along the beach better- the dragons peat tends to really blend in sometimes! Also be sure you're checking the raised areas and plateaus, I personally find it up higher more frequently than ground level

I hope someone here can help me. I'm doing the Silver Winging It questline and I'm at the point where I need to start riding the wind gusts in the temple to look for all the eggs. But after i land on the big brown ladder structure in the sky i can't seem to make it to the next island up ahead by riding that wind gust. The air stream only gets me to the edge of the next island and from there the next available wind gust does t have enough force to get me to the next island. I am watching tutorials online and everyone just seems to jump into the stream and there's enough force for them to make it, so what am I doing wrong? This is so frustrating.

A starred flowbug is only obtainable from finishing the sisters' quests within the temple, and as a reward you receive either a starred flow bug or a starred cloud minnow. You can get the other critter by going back to the temple after finishing all the quests within, there's a YouTube video that shows where and how to do so

Are you trying to pick it up via the main harvest house, or are you picking up the rooms attached to it? You either have to

• pick it up by the base house and rotate the entire layout (you need to be sure you have enough room of course) or
• remove the rooms attached to the base house, rotate it, then put the rooms back- you would need to remove them entirely to your storage though since you cannot detach rooms and put them down un-attached to a harvest house base

There is nothing players can do to fix chat connection issues, the current state is it is most likely effecting all regions, helps to report it, in the case s6 is not aware of it, if flags have not gone off on their end about this, so they can investigate it and have it fixed.. S6 uses vivox for their in-game chat services which is software run by a separate company called unity.

(Hopefully chat servers will be up and running again shortly, so I wouldn't worry so much) they usually don't take long, but if they do S6 takes notice.

Yes and yes, all eligible npcs (which you can find a list of on the palia wiki online) can be romanced by the player regardless of gender. You can also romance multiple villagers or all of them at once, but once you get to the point of getting their pin (just a status symbol that you're "going steady" with the npc) you can only wear 2 at a time. But you can change them out once a week!

Not exactly, the wiki isn’t fully available with pictures of each item in its colour pallet! But there are a few players out there who have “Palia-kea” plots where they make every item, in every colour and just place it all down. That could be your go to if you’re able to find a player who doesn’t mind adding you and giving you a tour

Otherwise, you’re stuck with the small little preview on the mod bench!

Autumn color palette includes burnt sienna, coral, and peach.
Berry color palette includes purple, raspberry, periwinkle, and light mulberry.
Calathea color palette includes mint green, teal, and baby pink.
Classic color palette includes wine red, walnut, and cream.

Don’t be afraid to mix and match as it suits you! I have various homestead bottles in all the available colours to emphasize my bar area and potions area, I like to use an alabastor pallet on my toilet to make it tie in better with my bathroom, but might do a Calathea on a table and the autumn as the accents .

@robust rampart I have a plot on the tour board (sorry mods—not trying to plug, I believe it is relevant) where some areas are hyperfocused on select modification pallets if you wanted to check it out. I have alabastor in the gazebo, shore in the resturant, autumn in the farm area, and a variety in the living quarters.

And if you have time, #1162052326769565776 might have some neat pictures that players share showing various plots using modification sets!

it's common for gaming laptops to have overheating problems. i would recommend buying a laptop cooling pad to use during gaming sessions, it sits under your laptop and uses fans to increase airflow.

if you've had your laptop a while it may also have accumulated a lot of dust internally which can contribute to overheating. you can look up a guide on how to clean it safely, or a computer repair place could probably do it for you.

Make sure you have the Fabric Loom - Recipe can be purchased from the Furniture Guild Shop. Once you've reached Furniture Making level 2, talk to Tish and access the Guild Shop for the recipe!

Leather is made from 1x Sernuk Hide - Recipe unlocked at Furniture Making Level 2 for 100 Gold.
Fabric is made from 2x Cotton - Recipe unlocked at Furniture Making Level 2 for 50 Gold.
Silk is made from 5x Silk Thread - Recipe unlocked at Furniture Making Level 6 for 1,500 Gold.

Or you can even buy the leather/fabric/silk directly from Tish's store! (Look for the cash register)

When I made my first post, I actually already had upgraded to copper chests, I'm struggling to unlock the last backpack and the iron chests. I'm kind of heartbroken there's not yet Palium chests. I still found your posts helpful regardless. I didn't know I could store certain things on different layouts. It will absolutely help to have separate plot of land for storing fish, bugs, and flowers.

I agree, I think most of players do too. There is a possiblity we will still have a higher storage rate limit increase or at the very least I keep hearing plot decor limit .. Platinum storage would be great, we have seen concept art for silver and gold storage chests in the past. I hope it is something we eventually have implemented into the game.

You can also do this while you're just in the world itself, while you're holding your fishing pole and about to cast, right click to see your bait options on a lil wheel- same applies to bug bombs and arrows for hunting

So...weird issue, but....
I'm audio-sensitive, and normally that isn't too much of an issue. I know how to handle it now. But recently, since picking Palia back up again, I have noticed something that has nearly made me want to claw at my ears-- The sound of the doors and gates opening. It wouldn't be quite so bad (I would normally just avoid it), but it happens so often, and the range at which they open is so far. I can be nearly in the middle of the room and the door open, so for the first half of my gameplay, with one medium room that had two doorways, I would just hear constant door opening/closing as I was doing things in my house. (Thankfully, I have another extension now, so that has reduced it a bit) I would normally just turn the sound off, but I like most other sound effects and ofc the music. ;-; I just wish I could either reduce the range at which the doors/gates trigger, or else turn that specific sound effect off....
Idk if this is even something anyone can help with or would be reasonable to request....I suppose eventually my house will be big enough to rarely hear the sound, but....it still irritates my ears every time I do hear it. Does anyone have any suggestions for temporary aids in this regard? Am I the only one who has this issue? 😭 Any help would be appreciated....

Tbh not gonna be much help from me. But I get it, my front door annoys the hell out of me sometimes. But my PC likes to mess with me so my sound just shuts down if it is below a certain % so I mostly play in silence or with yt in the background. Unfortunately we don't have any specific option to turn off those sounds, but now that you said it,it makes so much sense and we definitely need it. The best thing I can say is put something on in the background or mute the game while on your home plot. But definitely contact support about it, they should implement something like that in the game

Or get that jukebox and have it play,maybe it'll tone down the door

If you use the hoe tool and press the right mouse button or X on switch controller, it will damage the planted seed until it “breaks”. I believe you do not get the seed back. I play on PC and when I Left-click and hold it down I should be able to continue swining the pick or axe until I stop holding down the mouse button. I can't chop trees normally lately. Usually if you switch servers or relog it will correct itself, but if it doesn't when doing either of those 2, you can reset your character in Jel's Shop through the large mirror there once a week.

Mine tends to correct itself just by moving a bit when that happens.

Is there any way to make it easier to catch the rare fish? I've been paying attention to where and when and what kind of bait but it'll be days of nothing but fishing and just the getting the same two or three fish. Some of these ones for the bundles I've just never seen. Is there a kind of bobber I'm missing or something?

Finding rare forage and hunting is so much easier with using dowsing rods and hunting horns and so on, but the equivalent fishing item just points to fishing spots, and that doesn't seem to help.

Nope, it's pure RNG, the only thing you can do is to look up the fish you need and make sure you're at the spot and the right time. You can catch it in 2 hooks or 22, rng is all there is to it, plus it makes sense since it is a rare fish

Did the Meaty stir fry recipe change? I hadn't played in about a month and logged in for a bit, went to make my usual focus food and see it now asks for crabs and corn instead of any meat and any vegetable? I can't find anything anywhere indicating this change.

broke as of the last update, you can still cook it and others just fine

that one in particular, just be sure to change the meat one to one you have/want to use

I just wish they communicated between departments better. I’m sure support is flooded with the same questions I had about it and they honestly need to know. I’m not super upset about not getting the chapaa plush and fountain because I have it already but I know some will be
