I'm starting to get into more advanced farming, and I have to say that it's a bit of a pain trying to follow schematics for planting when you have 9 plots. Is there some sort of auto-replant mechanic or blueprint mechanic you unlock later on?

Barring that, do you know of any simple layouts that aren't too difficult to eyeball, while also having water retention and all that good stuff?

I have a really stupid question: What advantages do I have if I am in a community or other players are in my community? I only know that I can only be in one group, but in several communities. (?) I get the flower furniture for community activities. Or is a group enough? I don't really understand the whole thing. I can't test the flower furniture because I already had it before I founded the communities (for two characters) and so did my community members. Is there anything else relevant that makes it worthwhile to be in a community?

communities have 0 use atm, they are just chatrooms basically, they always promised us more features for them in the future

parties/groups can be formed with anyone and is required for the grow all out furniture, besides that parties share their loot in a 35m radius and have a chance for double loot

I think it's because everyone wants this plushie now. The poor butterfly is hunted a lot at the moment. And he's really extremely shy. Any player activity that makes a “noise” chases him away. Everyone running around and hunting or throwing blue smoke bombs makes the butterfly appear only for a very short time and then immediately disappear. No chance! Unless you try it at a (real) time when there is not much player traffic on the servers, then you might have a chance. 👍

Hi there, wondering if there are any known bugs concerning the spa day furniture either

1. is anyone noticing that building some of the furniture isn't using up the focus bar? Not sure if the XP is counting
2. Is it safe to make the whole set? Feel like I have to ask after the Paltech set issue juuuust in case

I use Focus when crafting spa furniture... Not that much, but a little. If you're very high level, it probably won't matter much.

Does it vary by item by chance? cause the first few crafting from the initial recipes bought from Tish took noticeable chunk out of my bar, only after I started with the furniture learned thru inspiration that I noticed the bar wasn't being used anymore. Or maybe like you said it is being used but only a little? Idk

Actually, crafting the spa furniture consumes little focus, similar to camping furniture. It may seem like you're not consuming anything. I'm at level 78 in carpentry and I also see (almost) no focus change when I craft the spa furniture. In principle, only two things influence focus consumption: palium and silk.

you can't build a home together, you have to have separate plots, but you can visit each other's plots and give your friend permission to move your stuff or chop your trees for example. you can do most other activities together (there's actually pretty big benefits to being in a party with others) though there are certain main story areas which can only be done solo

In fact, the “common” only refers to activities outside your property, such as cooking, hunting, fishing, mining stones or ore, catching insects or cutting flow trees.

I highly recommend using the buzzy jar and skipping servers. Start it at 3am and make a circle around pulse water and switch servers, you'll run into some for sure. I ran into 4 on the same server, pretty empty server tho,but no plushies unfortunately yet

Do you need a specific axe to chop flow trees? Or will any axe work?

Flow trees rapidly regenerate health, so even though they follow the same size rules as the other trees (you need a fine axe or better for large trees), only the smallest size trees can be chopped solo with a regular axe, and mediums with good timing with an exquisite. You will need help to chop medium & large trees as a beginner player with regular tools, and in order to get wood from large trees with a regular axe you'll need to be partied up with someone that has a fine axe or above when they chop the trees.

One of my favorite things to do in these types of games is to explore the map and jot down stuff I see for later, but I can't figure out how to do it in Palia if it can be done. I can make one waypoint, but I'm thinking more permanent stuff.

it's the hardest achievement in the game because of the RNG, unfortunately. barely anyone's finished it - completion rate is 0.3% on steam. i gave up on it tbh, so annoying spending hours fishing for chests and then just getting more repeats of the same furniture

Sometimes the item bar glitches out and thinks I wanna eat my furniture instead of just using my tools
Scroll to an empty spot in your bar and hit ESC till you see the menu, then go back into the game and see if your tools work
If not you may have to file a bug report

if you are trying to find gold ore physically, you can't, its only found by mining iron ore and its a rare drop

It's random when and where it spawns every day. That's just where you will find it when it does spawn? Can you get a dowsing rod for locating rare forage materials? It will help you locate what is available when you are there.

I just randomly pick a day for foraging shells, coral, oysters, and dragon moss and follow the entire coastline. Sell the extras, keep what you need. It helps the game spawn more of the rare items when you pick up a lot of the common things, as well.

It's okay. I used to have that same problem with sweetleaf in the beginning.. Basically, it's shrōedinger's cat and you can only find it if you aren't looking.

Just be patient.. you'll eventually find it.

And ppl are generally VERY generous on requests.. if I have it and someone requests it, I'll usually give them whatever bc I almost alway have issues with my inventory being full. 🥲

Someone else had the same issue (could only buy 4) and had to reinstall the game apparently.
Just make sure you don’t have 1 somewhere in your inventory.

Semi new player, on switch: Hi I know its a very common issue, but the wind pipe air blast thing that is supposed to take me to the last island in the Temple of Gales won't turn on. I have all 15 eggs, all the remaining quest marker flags for the Caleri and Elouisa "Proof of Magic" quest and Zeki's "Special Donations" quest are all on the last remaining island. Does anyone know who I can talk to/ what I can do to fix it?

Liked gifts are the level 1 and 2 weekly wants. If it's not one of their weekly wants for that week or if you've given it to them already, they won't accept it. Daily gifts are only hinted at or guessable (e.g. furniture for Tish).

• Prize Wheel coin - obtained by playing hotpot minigame - used for spinning the prize wheel.
• Lucky coin - buy from Zeki's underground store for 10k gold or lucky drop from the wheel and get mailed daily when you purchase an item from his general store (irl) - use on Wondrous Machine.

I get most of my money by mining iron in bahari. I have a route I follow so I get petty much every node. Then I turn all the iron into bars and sell it. I started selling all the gemstones after I collected all that I wanted to keep. And I now sell all the palium bars because I have enough saved. The second most money I make is from gardening. Some things are worth more than others. And apple tree seeds sell for a lot

Does anyone know how much palium can be on the map at any given time? About a year ago someone told me that only a certain amount is ever available at any given time. I think she said six nodes. I was wondering if that's accurate.

I learned that fishing with glow worms along the Bahari coast should give you up to 20k, depending on how many of them you catch and how many of them are star quality (only fished from hotspots = "rings of bubbles appear in fishable bodies of water, with a small fish jumping over them")

Cooking parties, too. Although, I have only been to a couple, coming home with 20-30k worth of food you can sell off in batches to boost your gold is nice. And you get bonuses and boosts for cooking, but trying to find parties that are efficient is a thing I'm starting to understand. Cake parties seem like they take forever. I did a Muujin Bahari party last night.. 45 mins instead of 2+ hours. Absolutely worth it, but you need to learn the cooking mechanisms to help keep the process running smoothly.

I generally keep my farm going, and I always try to get the commons for whatever activity I'm doing and sell the extras.

I've tried for 3 rl days to catch this in a bubble circle using worm as my bait, fishing at 3am-6am / 6pm-9pm in ponds (mirror pond / pond behind Daiyas in Kilima, and Hideaway Bluffs, Central Stables, Najuma's fishing pond in Bahari). I've never even seen a fairy carp, not even 1 hook in 3 rl days. Are these times accurate? I find it weird it's 3am-6am and not 6am-9am like the other morning fish. yes the information you have is correct. it's a rare fish, you've probably just been a bit unlucky. morning is always 3am-6am though, it should be the same for all morning fish. for example the dawnray is only 3am - 6am.

But sometimes it can look like a gardening plot is fully hoed up when it isn't. Have you made 100% sure it "CLUNKED" and became an actual gardening spot rather than visually looking like a plot.

I am having trouble finding the Duskwing Butterfly. They only spawn in Maji Hollow. I have spent several real time days during the spawning time, but have not seen one. I have used Buzzy Jars and even Honey Lures back to back. Nothing. I have managed to get one Spotted Mantis.

If you haven’t already, ensure that you have upgraded your rod to its most superior model (exquisite). As you fish, rare or epic fish may give you a little more hassle, and you can usually combat that by using hook lures (unlocked after level 10) and food buffs (Fisherman’s Brew, Trout Dinner, Sushi, Sashimi, etc) which will help you make fishing easier. Otherwise, it comes down to skill and patience. You get better with time and with upgraded tools.

You can also check your controls in your menu and ensure you have the right sensitivity on.

Jina follows a route typically and not in the map she may be in an adjacent map, depending on how far you are into the game. She should show up at the library with Hekla after 3:30 pm in game time. If she still doesn’t show up at this time, try asking again. Or you can always put in a support ticket if you feel like this is a unique situation to you.

Someone recommended to me early on that I bind each individual tool to an unused key on the keyboard, and it was life changing. I haven't touched the tool wheel in well over a year and I switch tools faster than I ever could before. Once you get used to which keys you've chosen for them, you won't even have to think about it anymore.

Always move fast and use as much arrow as you need ! Check for special animal types and track them with dispell arrow. Remember using better arrow Always makes it easier.

Hello, I am wondering... max Focus is 1000 no matter what level, right? And some focus foods, especially star quality, are more than 1000. Does that mean those extra focus points are gone? I can't tell if Focus ticks down more slowly (I don't think it does).

Yes some foods have more max focus than what we have access to. Focus goes down for as much xp you gain for each activity- based on that individual action plus your focus bonus percent (max is 100%)

Yup unfortunately so. Some aren't averse to letting focus go to the void, but I'm with you- loss is loss! The best profit for SQ muujin bahari is processed through your regular worm farms

You can plant and grow wild trees on your plot now flowers too, bugs have a chance to drop flower seeds when caught. Both types of growable on plot needs to be watered to fully matured, then it will prompt you to interact to "collect seed" to keep the cycle going!

How does the quality fert work for crops? I applied it all of my tomatoes assuming that it will turn all tomatoes by day of harvest to star quality but it looks like it just creates a higher chance of getting star quality crops rather turning them all into star quality. did you only apply it once? it needs to be applied every day to have a 100% chance of giving star quality crops at the end. you can stack multiple fert on a tile so you don't need to apply it manually every day

I apply the fertilizer like everyday then water them and repeat until its time to harvest

but when i harvest the crops all the tomatoes are not star quality only some are

the way i have it set up is 2 rows 4 soil plots so a total of 8 plots is there a specific way to place the soil plots?

i also check to make sure that each tile has fertilizer by holding G to show the plant info

no i mean, each crop gives a boost to the crops next to it. cotton and hot peppers give quality boost to any crops planted next to them. so you could get quality boost without having to use fertilizer by just planting cotton next to your tomatoes.

Hi! Does anyone know the difference between fishing in the fish circles and randomly casting?

Fishing in the bubbles spots is how you get star quality fish- which not only gives you better profit & increases your chance of star quality results when cooking, but you can also display them! Additionally there's an achievement for star quality fish (same for bugs, but SQ bugs just sparkle ) so you'll eventually want to be fishing in the bubbles all the time (catching a SQ critter counts for the regular critter collections achievement too!).

Oh and a final note: bubbles in certain areas & times give the best chance at waterlogged chests for makeshift furniture, however if you are after a cooking recipe you can fish up, don't fish in the bubbles!

Just a reminder you probably don't need but home plot pond counts as a pond, and since there's never any bubbles there's no temptation! You can also just be throwing them in the sell bin/grilling them/etc or making focus food when needed too since you're right on plot. That's where me and lots of others caught the sushi recipe! Kenli visits you and gives you, your first House, it is the harvest house, you can find this your home edits menu.. Press H key on keyboard. Open this menu. left hand side, you will see 7 icons, click on the one 2nd one. that has all rooms there, otherwise it can also be found under blueprints. 6th icon down.

You place it down on your plot, whilst you are in this edit screen

You will need to add materials to this to build it. If you need help with those materials, you can have any friend visit your plot and add materials for you, or you can request them as well.

Chopping down medium and large trees will give you a chance to collect a seed. The || Ancient Galdur Statue grants a seed every IRL day.||

Adding to what the always helpful Kafitrar said, you can also purchase regular tree seeds from Ashura with mining guild tokens. And I'd recommend also planting and farming the tree seeds you do have as watering any of them to fully grown will prompt you to collect another seed!

Get yourself Ore Compass which is pretty easy to craft
Then go to Bahari bay and travel to Hideaway Bluffs use your compass you will gather 7 Palium bar in no time !

The fortress does count! It just is a bit out of the way from all the other river spots that spawn bubbles- catching it star quality should count for both the reg & starred acheevs. I circled all the spots bubbles can spawn in rivers in bahari! I chased a loop around and hit as many as I could in the time frame the lamprey was available to maximize chances. It was my last one too! Good luck!

This is where the tuning fork had its uses, my strat was started from the outskirts use the travel board to coral shores and head to Statue Garden then run in between Proudhorn Pass to pickup some fishing nodes, if not just skip to Thorny Thicket and head to Fortress and repeat to maximise the spawn window times, could do like 2 runs and enough time for the hotspots to respawn.

But also ideally when inside of Flooded Fortress has a good amount of hotspot, after fished it all up, head to the ||Temple of Flames|| and back out, (solo not in party) and the hotspot respawned - dunno if it still a thing, I got The WL by doing this trick :p

Some of the standalone/upright bookshelves like the log cabin, industrial, chic, or bellflower have at least one shelf of books and small knick knacks when you build them. You need a second stove- it's under the "additional stations" section because eventually, you will need 2 of each station to make one of each recipe in game

For stir fry and other dishes with rice you'll need that second stove tk make the rice and then add it to the starter stove

but a good rule of thumb is to have 2 of every station since every recipe requires 2 of some variety of cooking stations

Or once you log on again, you will see it. Just remember to log on each day or two to claim those, because 60 coins (2days) is max accumulation.

Do the dispel arrows do the same amount of damage as the fine arrows? cuz i feel like i'm being scammed, says high damage but yet still takes 3 hits on a sernuk as a fine arrow does

Dispel arrows are used for the magic beast versions of the animals (white blue sernuk, white blue chapaa, white blue muujin)

They are supposed to dispel the magic, making it easier to hunt. Not do more damage

Fine arrows are the best arrows right now + combination of palium bow

So no worries, no scammage happening unless someone told you dispel arrows do more damage

What am I missing - when trying to equip a worm on the fishing pole? I right-click the worm in the Ammo Pouch inventory - nothing shows 'equip.' All I see is -- Throw Away -- Split Stock -- Cancel.

You don't equip worms or ammo in your inventory- from the tool wheel equip your fishing pole, then you have to right click while your fishing rod is equipped and select the bait

If you keep getting that error, remove decor from storage and place them on another plot (commonly referred to as a garage plot or IKEA plot). The stuff in storage travels with you. So if you have a lot, the server can’t send your data out fast enough.

the last main story quest is "rooted in place" currently
we'll get more main story with the Elderwood expansion slated for Q2, so in one of the next 3 patches

other things to do in the meantime is to gather all fish/bugs, finish the night sky temple bundles, befriend all villagers and build a pretty home
