I'm confused - I just spent 2500 envelopes at the market, and did not receive a prize wheel token. I thought you got them for every 2000 spent??? Or is there a limit? I did manage to spin the wheel 15 times - can you not get more after that is completed?

unfortunately the way the coin reward worked was very misleading, you don't actually guarantee a coin with every 2k spent

how it worked: the more expensive the item you bought, the greater the chances you got a prize wheel coin. If you bought a 100 ticket firework, it'll still have a chance for a prize coin, just much lower than a 2,000 ticket item.

If you bought a 2,000 ticket item and won the RNG for a coin, you'll get one; if you bought a 4,000 ticket item and won the RNG for a coin, you'd get two; the number of coins was rewarded based on the expense of the item, but still relied on you winning the RNG to gain a coin reward

tldr; 2k spent doesn't guarantee a coin, but the expensive items are more likely to reward you

So fishing: if I’m looking for a specific fish I know I can not catch the fish if it’s the wrong one. But I noticed that if I don’t pull my line in, the fish comes back. Is this true for all fish including rare and epic ones? I’m pretty sure I missed catching an epic fish yesterday because it looked like a Bahari pike. It just seems safer to not hook the fish the first go round and if it’s something you want let it come back…

hmm should be able to party together, is anyone playing on switch? make them check their time settings and have it synced to internet, that will sometimes improve connection. Sometimes I just have difficulty partying with my sis (who is on switch), so she would restart her switch game and it'll work

i have noticed my sister has great difficulty accepting party/server requests on switch, so I've always had her send me the invite instead since I'm on PC... it works better on PC on accepting party invites

ur choice, every villager has their own starstone(gem) they'll accept once a week, they count as loved gifts so they'll give a good amount og friendship exp, otherwise they are a good gold source

So I'm just kind of curious what happened to flow trees in this game? I haven't played since like October and I'm wondering when that whole flow tree grove is going to be put in the game? The last three (IRL) days I've been out for hours trying to farm them but I literally haven't seen a SINGLE flow tree, even after prepping.

There's a Grove that occurs every night in game at midnight. Most people are calling it out on chat. There's 6 different spots they can occur. I believe. Hope this helps

Oh, the quest wasn't removed; it's the quest about removed wishes. I forget what it's called, but it should be listed in the event quest tab/list

like galaxy says, they're already in the game, but they only spawn once an hour at midnight in-game. this map has the possible spawn points. there's nothing wrong with flow tree spawning otherwise though, sounds like you were either unlucky or other people were chopping them without calling them out. you could always start a flow tree party in #1143270926394335282 - if you team up with others to clearcut an area you're bound to get flow trees sooner or later

Idk, I tried different servers, chopping down normal trees, but I haven't seen a single one. I'll try looking at midnight in game, I just haven't been in Bahari at that time because of the Maji Market. I'll try that tomorrow and see how it works out after maintenance

Hey all! Fairly new player on Switch here. Is there a way to move items from my quest inventory to regular inventory? I figured out how to move it to a chest, but when I try to move it back it goes straight back to quest inventory. I just want to display my starred Ancient Flowbug!

nope quest items can only be held in the quest item tab

to place ur starred ancient bug, place it in ur storage
then open ur housing menu by pressing the left joystick
X to open stored items and u will find ur flowbug there, select it and place it

then u can close the housing menu and move the flowbug to the location u want it by using the edit mode(pressing right joystick)

what are the massive amount of flow trees at one spot at night in bahari bay? i just started playing 2 days ago and the etiquette confuses me

Flow tree groves. They spawn at midnight every game day somewhere in Bahari. The etiquette is to call out the location in chat when you find it (after you tap each tree once), and wait for people to arrive, particularly the ones who respond in chat. Some groups wait till 3pm 3AM to cut. Some cut earlier if everyone has arrived. This is the ideal scenario.

The less ideal scenario is that the call either doesn't come or comes in a completely different language. Once you know where to look, you can attempt to find the grove yourself and hope nobody has taken it down yet.

The most unideal scenario is when two people decided to chop everything down, whether other people are there or not. Most flow trees need two people to cut. This is why you need to get one tap in on each tree ASAP. You'll still get the loot if this happens.

When it spawns, you'll hear a magical whooshing sound if it's near you. I usually wait near the spawn location at Windy Ruins. If I hear it, it's either at Pavel Mines or Proudhorn. If I don't hear it, it's in north Bahari. I would usually say in chat where I'm waiting and notify if it's not near me.

A plot is that piece of land you currently have your house on. And it lives in a housing slot. You're going to see that the game refers to Housing Slots in achievements (ie gazebo unlocks after you buy 3 new Housing Slots). But a lot of us use plot/slot interchangeably and it's hella confusing. The little squares that you unlock with writs don't appear to have names, but some of us call them slots, to add to the confusion.

You get 2 plots/slots for free, so you need to buy another 3. You get your first gazebo as a reward, and can buy additional ones from the town hall. Unlocking plots/slots get more and more expensive, as this is a more later game thing, so don't sweat it.

You can buy new plots through the dropdown menu in the Housing view (H).

sorry to reply late, but its groves, basically everytime 12 a.m (ingame) there is a bunch of clump up infused tree around 1 spot in bahari bay, the etiquette used to be wait for people to chop around 2-3 a.m while firing flare, but nowadays there will always 2 - 4 people speaking their own language and chop them down at 12-1 a.m

Silk thread comes from rare and epic bugs. The azure stonehopper is fairly common around Bahari. The centipede that comes out of some mining nodes in Bahari also gives you thread. Any of the less common bugs.

Silk can be made with a recipe and loom you buy from Tish's at Level 6. You can also buy silk directly from Tish's store.

I just got a dowsing rod as one of the gifts from Sabira. Where would be the best place in Bahari to use it? I am out of heat root and. Almost out of Dari cloves.

dari cloves are only in the north half of bahari, so maybe start there. heat root is spread all over. but the rod lasts long enough that you can easily do at least one loop all over bahari

they spawn in the northern half of bahari during the day (3am-6pm). best to search at 3am when all the day bugs spawn in. if possible, use buzzy jars which track rare and epic bugs (recipe from auni at bug catching level 8)

oh yeah, i should clarify dari cloves are very rare. if possible pick up some mushrooms and sweetleaf while you're running around, when you loop back around later dari cloves may have spawned in their place

The paper lantern bug is the common one, so the buzzy jar won't work. Just run around north Bahari or the beaches of Bahari from 6pm to 3am. They're everywhere and easy to spot since they're glowing.
