By server I don't mean region, but local server. I don't think there has ever been an issue with adding in different regions.

Yeah, same. And I only did it once a while ago. I suggested at one point the person could add the one they wanted to block and then block them. They didn't want to, which makes sense since it's kind of passive aggressive.

If you follow or accept a friend request and immediately block when they're offline do they get the friend notification popup?

Usually if you put star crops in the seed maker you get star seeds back. Either made enough seeds for new crops and jam/seed the rest depending on if jam/seed sells for more

I've using harvest boost for a long time, but idk if that's optimal. I never really bothered to try to optimize the farming. It's also easy to get a lot of.

i think what the fertilizer does is just replace the effect crops have, not stack with them. For example if you planted no corn or wheat (both of which boosts harvest), you can instead use harvest fertilizer for the same effect

I started using the Palia guide app but it requires physically logging things as you collect them which has led me to avoid playing on my switch while riding the train because I hate having to juggle both it and my phone or a notepad in order to record things.

Could it be that you have a harvest boost proximity bonus from one of the crops or some fertilizer? That will change the yield.

I'm pretty sure the pin has no gameplay effect though. Like it won't speed up relationship with the pin giver or impede relationships with others. There is some text about a penalty from removing a pin. I only did that once a while back and it had no affect.

Because you can't actually "have" 9 cards except for when you draw off the middle deck or somebody else's discard pile. If the top of -your- discard pile was the card you meant, that doesn't count as you cant' draw from your own discards.

If we could see the actual cards it would be super easy to say what happened, otherwise we have to just ask for examples and hope you're remembering precisely.

"3 steak" doesn't mean "3 red cards" it would mean "3 of the exact same red card"

To win a game of hotpot as the 1st place winner you need to match 3 sets of icons
like 3 carrot 3 scallion 3 fish

You will notice there are 8 cards in your hand
You draw the 9th card and win the game if it completes your last set ie holding 3 fish 3 cabbage 2 potato then drawing the last potato will automatically end the game

You can also get category sets which are having 3 different icons of the same colour

2 same icon w 1 diff icon is not a set for the colour

1. Yes. You can get another harvest house from the Town Hall and create a second standalone set of buildings. You can have up to 15 rooms to every harvest house.
2. No. A separate plot gives you the opportunity to start a whole new layout from scratch.
3. Open the Housing Plot menu (press the wheel on the left). There is a dropdown menu on top of the screen that lets you go to another plot. You should already have a second one available, but you'll have to buy the rest.

Honestly I followed a very small farm grid and I was surprised at how much cash I frequenly have, though as I'm still newish that goes down fast buying new recipes for the skills. I've been getting close to 25k and I'm not sure which I should go for first myself. I usually go out exploring with a specific task in mind, such as fishing and then I might grab a interesting bug if I spot it. So I'm not often filling up 4 rows. But I'm also only using three basic chests and two locked at my plot (with a giant wall of star fish and bugs behind my house so I don't use them accidentally)
Maybe I shouldn't worry about either yet and funnel the money into tool progession

@solar jewel Yeah I checked a bunch of trees- the chests are decor but I also use them to stand on when decorating if I can’t reach something, and if you place them in a doorway just right you can hang wall decorations on them, and then remove them and the wall decorations stay up floating

didn't customize, but have had a lot of trouble placing things in the pantry/shelves when previously it worked. Sometimes closing and reopening the game helped, sometimes switching back and forth between PC and switch helped... I did report the bug to them with a video so they're aware of it

My home plot is acting up now (maybe I shouldn't have tried to expand my house?) I'm on switch. Yesterday I bought only my second writ, a hallway, and a room. Went and unlocked space on the plot, and added the hallway.

Today with the hallway finished, added the big room. It is building now (6 hrs left). But I figured I'd prep for more, so bought 4 more writs and a bunch of rooms, etc.

But back at my plot, when I want to unlock with the writs, everything is showing as locked, even the spaces where my house expansion is building.

Do I have to wait for construction to finish before I can unlock more spots with writs?

iirc there's been a visual bug showing that spaces are locked even if they are already open. You should not have to wait for construction to finish before unlocking more or starting a new construction.

So, as others mentioned, you can't get the gate without completing the stormseeker bundle. They added emberhorn recipes before they added that bundle, so several emberhorn recipes can be learned without completing the bundle. I know several recipes, but I can't learn new ones because the temple is bugged for me.

So, for example, you cannot possibly learn the gate by making the bed, since they're in different categories. It is weird because that's unlike any other furniture set.

You can also get category sets which are having 3 different icons of the same colour

other than keeping focus up and raising your focus boost, I like to upgrade my rod and get a worm farm going, the glowworm fish tend to give more exp (I think). Also fisherman brew and standing next to someone fishing to increase bite rate

Make sure your time is the real one, on your device, not set to something else for whatever reason.

there should be a little X button to cancel the crafting, it will refund all items inside, then you can put them back in and it should work
