Oh one thing - if you have a lot of fish in your inventory at once while cooking, do note that palia has a weird system for picking up items to use just like for arrows etc too

So even if the fish in your first row won’t show up as depleting with the recipes, check that your 2nd row isn’t being used up

They can 'mutate'a trait when they grow a little older, but other than that no. You can feed it cookies that remove or randomize their traits

it might be a bug, sometimes when you have 2 animals with the gluttony trait it buggs out, if its not that, try a relaunch of the game sometimes its just being a little stubborn. also, ranch animals only get up to 6 traits so if you're trying to add more, that could be a reason

I think the biggest thing to remember is that even if you feel FOMO, Palia is a journey best experienced at your own pace.

Some players like to slam content and get through MSQ as fast as possible, others like to approach it in bite-sized sessions. Just do what's right for you, the world of Palia isn't going anywhere 😄

They're such great additions that motivate me to play daily even for a short minute.

Easier way really is with Farming imo. Bok Choy makes some good money early on, even if you sell raw, and later on it's also a good source of passive money once you unlock preserve jars. Hunting also help you get started. Honestly, a bit of everything will do for early game.

Now the real deal for making money is attending cooking parties, but I'd advise you at least get the first backpack upgrade and some more money

Yes and no, you dont need to progress the mainstory to get your horse nor to access the RH, however if you want access to the relic stores then yes you need to progress the main story

If you've opened chests or vaults you'll have a chance to get it as a reward, but you shouldn't be able to gather it from anything until you progress, I think its the 2nd? quest in the RH that unlocks it

You can get it from completing achievements associated with RH, before you unlock the ability to pick it up from other things.
