yes! i am a largely solo player so not having strong community features aren't super high on my priority list but i also think i got into that mindset because there aren't a lot of community features. i'd probably be more of a group layer if they revised their systems a bit. i think the shared housing and lifting the 25 person cap off communities is going to be a good start, and maybe letting people display their community name (ffxiv-ish) under their names with preset icons would be cool /rant

Your out of bounds items will remain static, but, since each landscape has different out of bounds areas, your design may not look right on the changed landscape

If you watched the grove despawn while an active clearing was occurring, it may be a bug. The grove trees will stand until they are cut, but flow trees can despawn naturally over time as well.

It could be that this grove was "old" and near it's despawn time.

They don't have markers during these quests since it is a treasure seeking quest, so they don't show up on the map. It has been a frustrating thing for folks over the last few months. In case it's helpful, the wiki pages for this quest has all of the locations marked. The very last scene of this quest is still currently bugged, just as a heads up.

yea what panda said, really all you can do is grind it out and reel in all the sharks, regardless if you think it looks like a lake shark or a maws, especially since they look the same in shape and unless you have a sharp eye, they will look the same at first glance

also since they do have the same movement pattern as the lake sharks, you can use them as practice for reeling them in, but if you wanna be real safe, use the fishing boosts

I’ve had luck with a honey lure around C7. Make sure you are trying to find it between 3am-6pm. Also, if you are using a honey lure, you should only be catching butterflies and lady bugs or you’ll cause the other bugs to keep spawning

The pulsewater area and the hideaway bluffs will be the best places to find some natural spawns. honey lures can help a lot

yeah, this will be the biggest help to you if you're looking for natural spawns. buzzy jar will alert you on your compass in case you dont immediately see it yourself. I think the blue stonehoppers and fairy mantis will also trigger. some people do use buzzy jars during luring so they don't miss anything important, all up to personal play style

There is a milkshake method. Players go out searching for the RTB with buzzy jars, once they find the RTB, they leave it alone, dont spook it, then use honey lures in a different area, while the original stays alive, it will bring more RTBs to them.

Occasionally, I've seen villagers act like that. As far as I know it usually means that you'll have to discover their remaining likes through other people.

Go to Zeki's Black market and fish with any worms in the circular pool. You can get good amount of fish that can rack up to 10,000 gold a half an hour to a hour.

I fish in Deep Woods with glow worms. Lake sharks Eelero eels Midnight floats and the occasioanl Maws. I have a plot dedicated with all the fins and plushies 🫣🤭 youll find me there a LOT! I can usually uield about 24k

most ideal way of making loads of money is through cooking parties, ideally the fish dish ones with epics or maws as the fish, your wallet will thank you later when you attend a couple of these

Hello! I played palia for the first 3 months when it was released but I haven't touched it again till today, I wanted to know if I missed some good updates since, especially anything that makes it way more engaging when playing with a friend?

The patch notes are a good place to start to review what updates have happened since 2023. There hasn't been much added to the community feature, and a lot of people mostly play together for parties and events, or visiting each other homes and barns.

After level 10+ is there any reason to keep the focus bar filled? I almost have all of the skill shop items unlocked.

A filled focus bar allows you to capture the max amount of XP from an action, so you can level up faster.

10 isn't the best stopping point, lots of more stuff to progress and unlock upon higher lvls

Level 50 is what a lot of people work towards to finish off the accomplishments, but the levels themselves don't necessarily offer anything extra after you unlock the guild stores.

Leveling mainly gives you a chance to earn guild medals along with the weekly tasks.

at lvl 25 and 50, you will receive trophies for those skills, beyond that, you get more guild coins everytime you level up

If you're on PC, there's some steps you can take to reset the chat. Sometimes, restarting the game can help. But if that doesn't, there's more info in the tech help channel 💞

I was thinking of changing the access the shop button. when you bring up the map and go to hit it again. in a lot of games it brings you back to the game, in this one it takes you to the shop. i open the shop maybe 20 times a day on accident. but what do you guys think?
