Chat is just generally a nightmare on switch unless you have a USB keyboard you can use! Lots of us switch users tend to party up and then use places like discord to coordinate chats since it's faster and easier. For chatting in world, keep it simple and use abbreviations as much as you want since everyone generally knows what you're going for! & Flares are your best friend!

Basically a community is just a larger party, the member limit is 25 in a community instead of just 4 in a party, with a dedicated group chat and a small communities tab in your main menu. That's the thing though, isn't it. They are clearly not organized or efficient, and that very much is on S6. It's not just "some random bad circumstances", it's a long string of bad choices on their part. And people have explained up and down how that affects them and the community. But for every step forward there's two steps back. They hear but not listen.
