There aren’t a lot of players in Leviathan right now, so maybe that’s part of the reason? Hard to say.

How the Prize Pool Works
The ILV prize pool updates live and is based on how much players have spent on Fuel, calculated using the current ETH price. For every 1 ETH of total revenue, 10 ILV is added. Since ETH’s value changes, the ILV amount shown may go up or down. Don’t worry, the real value of the pool is always accurate. sILV2 purchases don’t count toward the total.

I assume that since not every fuel sale is in eth that the fuel sales are considered to be made in USD. So the amount of USD that was used is theoretically converted into eth for the prize pool calculation.

Everything is correct, the counter converts the amount of USDT to ETH in real time, but this is not very correct because we buy disks from the beginning of the wave and for us they always cost $5-30 regardless of the ETH exchange rate, in other words the counter robs us 🙂

Nothing has been confirmed yet if there will be p2e mechanics added to the overworld once the mmo releases. Right now there is leaderboard rewards, perhaps they stay in some form… but it is not definite and no one knows until the mmo releases

its very situational in my opinion, higher crafted weapons cost more points to use in an encounter but have more damage and so on. whereas the entry level weapons barely do much in a fight but also barely cost any points.
When it comes to the different types, thats up to how you wanna play the encounter, sometimes ranged works better than melee and vice versa.
Me personally, I have 1 sword for each type (earth, fire, water, nature, air) and then I have some tier 2 and 3 weapons for when I do the stage 2 or 3 runs and need a little extra damage to help my team. I use a nature spear cuz its ranged and adds to my support healers, and I have a pair of air blades cuz those give you the rogue effect which is useful when you wanna distract a target long enough for your team to take out the major threats.
Lastly... I have to say the character weapons are not as important as a good suit in my opinion, the tier 2 and 3 suits will keep you alive a lot longer than any weapon

Boy I sure do love it when a default pfp discord account user pokes their head back in on a project that they didn't have the patience to observe and follow just to throw some fud around and act like a spoilt child who hasn't had their nap yet today 😏
So speaking as someone who was here for that few months that you were not, I can honestly say that I have seen this game grow out from literally NOTHING. I was watching my fellow streamers on what was once ThetaTV playing the overworld when it had literally just an environment to explore and they would tell me of the roadmap that I never at that time saw possible, only to now be fully addicted and in love with what illuvium has become after only playing for about 3/4 months solidly now.
Like leaderboard and earnings aside, I genuinely enjoy the type of game and I can see what it's full potential is going to be one day when the full ecosystem of games becomes perfectly synergised

There is a filter on the right, I advise you to pay attention to it. There are simply a lot of items and creatures on the market and they have a lot of parameters.

The prices will generally be based more on the illuvial's individual stats. Rarity (tier) will count a bit at the higher end, but I have seen great stat tier 1s sell for more than tier 5 with bad stats.

For instance, a perfect stats tier 0 would be highly sought after for Leviathan version of the Arena.. but if mid grade tier 3 or 4 might hardly get played so people won't want to buy that as much.

The Tier is the rarity. So a tier 5 in the wild you hardly ever see, but a tier 1 you will get sick of because you see them so often.

The ones that are worth the most are the ones that people want for Leviathan Arena. That is the version where you use illuvials that you actually own, so their level and stats matter.

I think my highest illuvial sale was $750 but i did have a weapon (pre nerf) that was $1750

Is it possible to make tier 3 runs profitable with the new fuel system? I had more than 100K fuel for runs in the previous system, but now I got basically nothing for it and it cost $100 to buy a few runs

In Stage 0, you can only get Tier 0 items. Green crystals are rare; you can get them from any crystal, but green has the highest chance of giving shards.

Not with shards, but you need a team of Tier 0 units to be able to fight in Stage 1.

I think it will be like this in the future, I hope at least, but right now everything is at the testing stage.

I feel you. The farming vibes are there, i frustrated myself last season and stopped playing because of this, it´s even hard for me on this season to play with this new 3-4 broken comps meta where breaking a unit/comp is more important than positioning / strategizing (there is not even positioning, just corner or rogue trash / Rhampy-Umbre the inmortals) and people just going for them in every game.
Also, Rich, why are you guys still allowing the most obvious multi accounts?

Last season i uploaded a picture with those sooo OBVIOUS multi accounts, and they are still there, draining the leaderboard. I honestly don´t want to do it again, so, please, do something guys. There´s a rule that strictly forbid that, and please, don´t ask me for evidence... nobody with a 0.90 - 0.95 w/l and 0.40+ winrate plays 5-8 games every week, cmon.

They don´t even botter to get a profile picture, or change their names, they are like...meh, they´not gonna do a shit against that.

The current situation is pretty bad . Once I got 5th place while having 4 wildfire activated . Couldn't beat the corner comp and the rogue comp. I mean what's the purpose of leveling up illuvials to stage 3 units hitting those hard comps just to get beaten by fast 8 teams which has only stage 2 units ? I think you guys should give up on copying tft make this a 1 vs 1 battle thing like gods unchained or pokemon

yeah, that also complements with the fact that when they enjoy their place, they just go with a fresh account to take more rewards. So yeah, Awake is right, this is a nonstop farming cycle. I like this game a lot , but honestly there are lot of things to be done if they want to "succeed".
Most of this game´s state rn is about how they handle the fact players can do many things freely that should not, and giving a job to some with literally no life with the false idea of "keeping playerbase".
With this matchmaking system and giving actual rewards & leaderboard structure, this is indeed a farm.
Honestly i would want to see how many of those top players stay if there were not rewards at all , or just split between top 200-500 and a real matchmaking where you face people of your league.

This is just a friendly reminder or peek to the future which can predict what could happen if the rewards were higher the situation is gonna be 10 times worse . There gonna be only rats in the game and once the so called air drop is over they will vanish without leaving any trace , selling all the ilv they have farmed causing a huge drop of the coin. If real players are here as the real player base( those who believe in the project) things might be different . As I mentioned last month people play games as a stress relief , not to get stressed

BTW we should learn the Game more to beat rats . We should make their life's hard . Super exited to see the battle pass . The cominity will have to unite instead of dividing which is a positive thing .

3 hours “sit and go”, top 16 go to semifinals for 1or2 rounds, 8 goes to final… something like that. Would not have to worry about people not showing up on time, and everyone get to try some Leviathan ☺️

Hey my friend, just sharing my opinion, nothing more.

The tournament format is much better than Sit and Go because Sit and Go can be easily abused.
I already have several ideas in mind on how dishonest players might exploit the system. It’s harder to do that in a tournament format.

What will these abuses lead to?

1️⃣ Arguments and having to prove innocence.

2️⃣ Damage to Leviathan’s reputation.

3️⃣ Bringing back Leviathan haters who are quiet now. Give them any chance to criticize Leviathan — they’ll start shouting about it.
We can’t give them any fuel for hate.

I want everything to go as smoothly as possible. I know that most players in our community are great. But unfortunately, even here you can find those who will gladly abuse the system for their own benefit. And that’s way too easy in Sit and Go.

We must look for vulnerabilities within ourselves.
That’s why I’m wary of Sit and Go. I want to emphasize — the format itself doesn’t personally matter to me.
What I’m concerned about is the Leviathan mode itself and the reputational risks it might face.

Right now, we’re walking on thin ice. New people are hearing the word “Leviathan” for the first time. We need their first experience to be as positive as possible.
If they encounter vulnerabilities right from the start, it’s unlikely they’ll spend thousands of dollars on this mode.

We have to sell them the product. That’s what’s good for the ecosystem.
