After I saw people talking about this rolling bug, I joined a casual match to see what's broken and this bug, let's go... if you really want to have a significant advantage right away, just roll and reconnect at tier 0. You can do 1 to 3 stage 0s with extreme ease, which would be a hugely unbalanced advantage, since the units cost nothing and are quite strong. Just a reminder, I only tested this idea yesterday out of curiosity, but I don't use or abuse it in tournaments or ranked matches.

if people start a lobby in a tournament, they send the code to all people in that lobby, people enter, game starts.... and then as soon as game is started you can click join lobby with the same code and get into that game as a spectator.

there is nothing bad/wrong in using other players builds, the possible good builds combos are not infinite and they can overlap each other , and tbh a build can be optimized and become much better than the original if you know what you are doing. Being first and claiming you never copied is just coz you do not watch a lot of games imho, otherwise you will find someone using a very similar build.

During the carousel, the nicknames of the top two drones are not visible.
Also, the carousel view has changed — it used to be at one angle, and now it’s at a different one.

I rly dont like augments. Specially the part where u can stack 3 on the same illuvial.
When u get the right ones there is nothing u can do against.
I had a really good comp this last game, 6 air, 4 shock, 3 tempest, 3 enchanter, 2 templar, 2 revenants and i lost vs a way weaker comp, but he had a phoros, (not even stage 3!) with 3 OP augments, doing 30k damage per round...
Many rounds i kill the all team and phoros won 1 vs 4/5.
How is that balanced? ☹️

Ofc it was not alone, but it carry way to hard, thats what im saying.
I had a way better comp and way more buffs, imo and yet i only won 1 round in 5 or 6 and that was when i manage to kill it early.
U are comparing 3 aegis, 6 nature and 2 bloom VS 6 air (extra buff for full comp), 4 shock (extra buff for full comp), 3 tempest, 2 revenant and 2 templar.
Seems to me that my comp should beat yours...That bird made all the difference in your favor, not your comp.
Also i think i had the hyper augment so not even nature vs air was a thing.
Not taking away your merit on the win, just saying that makes no sense that a single illuvial can carry so hard because of the augments.
Again...it was only stage 2, not even stage 3!

You are right in that 1 illuvial shouldn't carry so hard, but the entire team was created and positioned in order to max buff that one illuvial in order to do what he did.

There were more synergies in the team, but they were pretty irrelevant.

Aegis is way over powered if you can get it on a strong carry like phorus with the right augments.

Unfortunately, this is the game. A very strong synergy/comp or more accurately, several strong synergies/comps will usually net you 2-4th place, but first is reserved for whatever player decides to go all in on either one unit or ranger to 1v everything and that's currently what wins games. It's the opposite of fun for me, but clearly someone in control likes it. Also, winning the game has less to do with understanding synergies, illuvials, etc. and more to do with understanding and using exploits, OP Augments and combos. That's just reality.

You don't make augments that are more powerful than Illuvials unless you want this result.

I think that synergies should be the main focus and trying to get as many as u can should be the way to win, not some lucky draw on augments ditating the winner.
This way the game is way harder to balance cuz theres hardly a counter to that.
Like i said, i dont like augments at all, but if ppl insist to keep them on the game, then make it only one per illuvial and dont allow this crazy unbalanced augment stack to be a thing and dictate the winner.
Im usually on the top 4, but its very rare for me to get the win, cuz theres always someone that gets lucky with augments and have one unit carrying all 😩

Hey everyone, by Thursday we should know if the patch for Leviathan is good to go. We're tentatively looking at a date of August 2nd for the tournament that I'm running. I will put up 2.5K USDT in prizes.

This isn't an officially sanctioned event and won't be apart of the Illuvium League starting next month. But it will be a really good test of where Leviathan is at.

I honestly would love to see at least a few leviathan events per year be included in the League but lets see how we go.

Just a thought – do you think it would be a good idea to remove the level (lvl) restriction at the very beginning of the Leviathan Tournament? Right now, level makes a big difference in battles, and it might discourage newer or lower-level players from joining.

If we based the tournament just on stats instead of level, it could open things up to more participants and make the competition feel more balanced and accessible at the start. Then, over time, level progression could be implemented gradually.

This way, we could build a larger, more active tournament community right from the start.

I agree, levels should play a role in a future economic loop, once a big player base has been established:

1. F2P MMO allows for free skill based catching of Illuvials with frozen stats and very basic levels. Like catching horses in the wild.
2. Zero land owners would use Training Gyms for leveling up these good stat Illuvials (and fusion), to make them good Illuvials for Leviathan. Like breeding and training wild horses to make them into race horses.
3. Leviathan is then like horse racing: With Jockeys racing horses owned by rich horse owners. Jockeys don't need to buy horses, they just need to be good. Leviathan players would play with Illuvials owned by rich investors.

This would allow F2P players, land and training gym owners and Pro Gauntlet players to do what they do best and like most.

But first we need a huge player base.

Personally I spent quite a bit of time leveling in ow to build up a good team, but I do agree that it might be better to disregard levels to start with, to encourage more people to participate in Leviathan.

in any case, It will be good to get properly tested in a real tournament. (Doesn’t even have to be big prize pool to start with, until we get it balanced).

I didn’t mean to remove it completely — just to delay it at the beginning of the process. That way, we can attract more players and encourage people to start buying Illuvials, which would help increase overall involvement in the game.

Otherwise, we’ll end up with just a few participants and a small tournament.

The goal is to help people understand the value over time and motivate them to invest — whether it’s in Autodrone Runes or by purchasing from the market. If we introduce level restrictions too early, even those who want to buy might feel it’s not worth it, and they won’t be motivated to make any investment.

Previously, to get 7 earths, you had to keep useless units on the table, monkeys that did not close any comps for you (berserkers and predators are not used in most cases), but now with the new imprint system, if I understand correctly, you only need to have 4+ EarthX units on the table and you will 100% be offered a earth imprint, so you can put a useful unit (instead monkeys) without raising the level to very high values, you can close Blooms, Aegis, Mystics, Harbingers, whatever you want and still have 7 earths

I went to ranked, I clicked Find Match. After a minute, it kicked me back out to the main screen. I went to make a coffee and came back and went to ranked and hit Find Match.. and it Reconnects and its round 15.

If you get kicked to main screen while in queue, don't afk until you check to see if that was a bug and you are actually now in a game lol.
