• Illuvials are basically the center of all Games built and gona be built in the future.

• in the overworld you can capture illuvials, and Farm ores and plants for gear of the Ranger and other Stuff. You have to pay fuel to go on a Run to Farm those assets, or craft gear etc.

• In Zero, you create blueprints for skin-production of Ranger+drones skins and fuel you need to pay for all digital products, Like overworld Runs, crafting in overworld, Shop in Zero, future beyond disks sales etc. Zero produces 5% of all fuel and the DAO creates the other 95%

• In Arena you use illuvials and Ranger gear to fight other Players in a autobattler

• beyond is Kind of Like "beyond the economy" you can buy disks to get illuvitars, which you can collect in an Album to get Fun Stuff and compete in the leaderboard for weekly ilv and you also use them as your pfp in illuvium

• ilv token is involved in Governance and revenue distribution

• overworld needs fuel for Runs and crafting
• Zero produces fuel and also needs fuel for Building the Base and research etc.

Depends, and we shall see how it turns out.
I guess a while after mainnet Launch and you are mainly interested in overworld, you usually are looking for the assets you haven't gotten yet, to fullfill your collection addiction, or you try to get better assets(better stats on illuvials etc.) sometimes you Find new Stuff, but a Lot of assets you grind you either directly sell on the illuvidex or you craft things and sell on the illuvidex, because you already got them.

Keep in mind, this is not your typical play2earn game.
You spend money as in many other web2 cardgames but you might get a considerable Return because you Find valuable Stuff, you can directly sell in the game to other Players.

Airdrops
So first there is the Loyalty airdrop (50k ILV) which is already set in stone. Snapshot was taken on April 14th as a record of every wallet that has participated in the ecosystem.

Then there is the Testnet Beta airdrop (20k ILV) which is registered for using IMX Passport. 10k users will start getting into Beta 4 on the 30th of April (recently increased to 20k). Some of these users are selected based on previous activity and some are randomly selected from individual content creator's referal links. If you don't get in the first 10k users for PB4 Testnet, the Open Beta Testnet opens to everyone after about May 28. While the Testnet games are limited to a select few there is only a flat amount of points that those players will receive. Additional points will start being earned by players after May 28. More points will lead to receiving a larger portion of this 20k ILV airdrop.

Then after some more testing, there is Open Beta Mainnet, which everyone can play and offers the remaining 180k ILV in airdrops based on your interaction with the ecosystem. This one is where your illuvials and armor etc are actual NFTs on the main blockchain. The real deal. It’s the game launch.
