The reality is building 4 games simultaneously is extremely difficult, add on all of the other DeFi elements, and it gets even harder. The plan is to give team members much needed rest once the game goes live and we've made sure there aren't any game breaking bugs. We've done this a few times throughout the life of the project, but this one will be a big recharge for everyone before we start looking at our next game / Adding new features & polish to existing games.

I am seriously confused by the relation between my current Illuvium address(es), my account and the Immutable passport. Is there any ressource where I can read up how EXACTLY the passport works and how that relates to my hardware wallet?

Basically Passport is a brand new wallet

And when registering for PB4 you create a testnet passport

This is different than your PB4 account

I get it creates a wallet in the background for me, but it says it's going to import my assets from other wallets I link and that makes me think they are no longer protected by my hardware wallet, but by the integrity of my email account.

You can Link a wallet to a passport and then read only the assets in that wallet, like your ledger

but importing/or transferring to passport will put those items on your passport thus not on your hardware wallet anymore

Tier 1 plots aren't the only ones that exist, a F2P plot is not better than a T3 or T4 plot for example
