I have not actually seen that immutable X supports smart contracts that will drain a wallet like interacting with an nft on mainnet can.

The scam nfts I’ve seen on imx so far are all jpgs telling you to go to some scam website to claim the actual airdrop tokens. Super obvious stuff. And only stupid marketplaces even show those scam nfts. Good ones like tokentrove or the IlluviDex will never show the scam collections. Because it’s all custom built and not automatically including any and every nft collection or erc20 token.

Basically there are a lot of things that can be got in the free areas. All of those are tier 0. Tier 1-5 things will not be available to players unless they pay using fuel or buy from other players.

You'd be limited to tier 0 resources and tier 0 illuvials. One thing you can do is buy a land plot and use the fuel from the land plot to play. Assuming the plot doesn't go down in value from when you bought it, it's kinda like playing for free.

They would get tier 0 stuff. Even tier 0 stuff are NFTs. It would then be possible to sell tier 0 NFTs for some small amount ETH. Grind repeat grind repeat. It’s not clear. But it sounded to me like The time played in the games already will have counted for something, and so will the time staking ILV, and buying land, and buying disks, and most every interaction with illuvium products. Participation is key to accruing a bigger portion of the airdrop. At least that’s what the talk was saying. How it ends up being executed is gonna be pretty secret I’m sure. Often they do stuff to help prevent gaming the system.

correct, you play Zero to get Fuel and you can either sell that Fuel to other players wanting to travel i the OW or use the Fuel yourself to travel. Land in Zero can also find blueprints to make stuff to use in OW and Arena

Actually when thinking about it... Crimson has some pretty good basics for a Shooter map with its tunnel system.
Stretch the underground system a bit, duplicate and attach it and you would already have an amazing base for a shooter map with 2 teams
