Claiming Rewards

When you stake ILV in yield farming, rewards will start accumulating for you. However, you'll need to manually claim these rewards and pay for the GAS fees of these transactions.

You can choose to claim the rewards whenever the pile is big enough to justify the gas fees. If you claim sILV2, it will be unlocked right away and can be used in-game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena. If you claim ILV, that batch of ILV will be locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effects. And the process starts over again with new rewards accumulating.

Please note that ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution must also be claimed, but they are not subject to a locking period.

Your metamask wallet is not properly connecting to imx for control. There’s no need to input keys anywhere or install a new extension. But you probably have a different wallet extension that’s active and is messing with things. Or you had a different wallet connected to a different imx marketplace and imx thinks you are on that wallet.

An Illuvitar can be your in game PFP which you can customise with accessories, but it also has its own albums that you can fill and earn points to get on the leaderboard, currently the leaderboard rewards 100 ILV per week to the top 100 collectors, but filling albums will also come with in game unlocks in the future, like battle board 'skins', ranger/drone skins, emotes, and drone blasts

The base illuvitar will matter for most, it will depend on the collection at this point I think. Like they arent all decided yet but for example if may we had one where if you have all the cigars bonded and collected you get x emote or something. There is endless possibilities with these to make it worthwhile to complete collections
