You can already check the Illuvium Beyond analytics on Tokentrove or Illuvidex etc as well as the land sales volume 🙂

I would expect the white paper to have a majority of the information on this, but i haven't checked there for a while myself.

My bias opinion is that gala is just the next web 3 tradgedy waiting to happen... unless they really get rid of this ponzi design. Once players are burned and lose money thats it, they are dead users that will never return and when the whole value of your company is essentially the strength of your network or in other words player numbers. Its just going to end in tears. The node owners have been given lots of gala tokens and will continue to be given them over time and while the games did look good for web3 2 years ago, they are suddenly looking much more mediocre. And financially they are struggling. My advice would be to be very careful with money invested in gala anything. You might find some opportunities to make money through it but they will be limited and the risk of drastic losses imho is way to high for me to ever go near it. I learned my lesson from the axie ponzie! Never again for me!

What are the benefits of owning Land?

Fuel Earnings
Landowners will earn approximately 5% of all in-game revenue. Players can extract Fuel from Tier 1-5 Land, which is connected to the economy of Illuvium and can be sold on the IlluviDex for Ethereum (ETH). Landowners play their Land plot in the Illuvium Zero game to build up their Land and produce Fuel and Elements. After building the necessary structures, players can trade their Fuel at any time for ETH.

Blueprint Generation
Using a Singularity Scanner, Landowners scan for Illuvials to produce Biodata. The Biodata is Researched in the Materials Lab to Discover Blueprints. Blueprints can be minted as an NFT and then sold on the IlluviDex for ETH or used to craft new cosmetic skins.

First, don’t mistake my gratefulness and enjoyment from having closed beta access. I’ve been mining, crafting, and catching. But, somewhat greedily, what can closed beta testers expect, if anything to set them apart in the future?

Just the experience of knowing how to play. A big part of the premise for Illuvium has been having a fair launch where everyone is on an even playing field, so don't expect any player power for participating in the Overworld closed beta.

That alone is a pretty big leg-up ahead of Open Beta, being able to speed run equipment, understanding the movement and Illuvial progression

I was listening to a talk today, discussing the future of DAOa and involvement ext. They were talking about tokens being used more. Not as a financial trade, yet a trade nonetheless.
I thought it was really interesting. A native way to use this space.
Like maybe you build up a digital identity of all the achievements you have made.
Ie beta testing for so many games, best skin maker in illuvium, PVP master in illuvium. Consistent community engagement. Ext.
It's like your own data profile. That you have exclusive rights over.
Maybe that will have value in ways we can't see yet.

Id pay close attention to what illuvials are top tier in the auto battler game. These will be sought after once open beta drops and knowing where to catch them what you need to catch them etc will give you a good advantage to those just joining

related to the speculative timing of the bull market, much more buzz and eyes on the project, and i think launching then would be more successful vs q4 this year for example

doubt it will happen though because of the speculative nature of launching due to market conditions (although we kinda are doing that for t5 land) and other reasons like community sentiment + runway etc

I thought that would be your point. My counter point to that way of thinking is I believe it’s actually better for Illuvium to release a good amount of time before the bull run so that any bugs or unbalanced gameplay can be fixed by the time the bull market happens. This might not be as good for token price tho I don’t believe it would matter too much regardless but it’s far better long term. If the game is good when the bull run happens that means the millions of eyes that are looking at the crypto space will see a polished game that works. Retaining WAYYY more players after the bull run going into the bear market than it would have otherwise 😉

Realistically, Q4 is way too long(due to the reasons you mentioned). If it were to ever happen hypothetically, Q2 is probably more of a date people would be aligned with
