Indirectly it does, since a node can only have 5-10 ores, scanning will always reveal which slots have ores (not all will show the type though)
So you can sometimes deplete nodes before mining all slots, saving you energy.

What we do know is that land owners get 5% or game income. Not all that much more in terms of how much land will get you how many runs

It's a city builder game that you have to own Illuvium land to play but it's in private alpha. You cant get any of the fuel from it yet BUT there will be an update very soon that allows you to mint skins and keep them.

The mined fuel is sold to players for their in-game travels, making Zero's utility tied to the entire game. So in open beta, you get to mine fuel, skins etc and you can sell them on illuvidex to players willing to buy
