Having a large amount of voters isn't necessarily a great thing if those voters are uneducated about Illuvium or the nominees. The last thing we want are people who don't know the issues or who they are voting for just picking someone randomly so they can vote.
This new system did take more time, at least for me. It's tempting to just vote for the person you talk to the most but I wanted to try to put that aside and actually go through every individual. Interviews, Twitter posts, going through past Discord posts, it all takes time to do. I'm not saying that is bad though. I do think that even for people who want a quick vote seeing so many names is more daunting.

Of course not, but I am saying that a large turnout isn't necessarily superior to a smaller turnout for getting the best council possible.

Sometimes in elections large numbers are indicative of more uneducated (on the matters) voters.

There was some market research done about 30 years ago after a Canadian election that was based on voting and that was one thing they found.

There is a core community that is still engaged. I think you are absolutely right, games being released, another bull run and this will change. Ultimately it should be about who has the best experience and skill sets to provide needed value in potentially short notice decision making situations.

I thought having some questions prearranged would make the ama more dynamic. And then another pack of questions, that havent been answered yet by the prearranged ones, being asked live.

All of them of course being from the community but filtered by mods so that the content is not asked twice and Kieran can go straight to the point.

With this system we also give the chance to this asynchronous community to leave their take of questions despite not being able to connect live on the AMA.

Not really, TH questions are on the fly and without previous filter (as far as I know).

A system in which community can ask questions and upvote questions to give them more power would be great so that founders and/or TH speakers can prepare and answer them in the best way possible.

If there is desire to preserve the live version of questions, TH could become a mixture of both filtered and real time questions.

This system would also help the internal team to keep track of main community concerns and how to address them best.

A lot of my work is front loaded onto projects. So yes, my work will free up in the next month as I finalise the requirements for all the projects. I have to finish off fuel pool, repository, some small things for marketplace, and then a big overhaul of Arena and Overworld to clear out some debt. The arena and overworld stuff doesn’t impact them much but it will make it much better for any new hires if I get that looking as clean as the other areas.

But yeah, after that all I have to do is organise and clarify as they finish the build but my work load will drop. Then I can start on a proposal for another game.
