Depends on the base. If you're on official pve I can come grab your stuff and bring it to you when you respawn

Hello everyone, quick question: I'm playing solo, and I'm having a really hard time with the Fear Ascended Dodowyvern. I've tried more than eight times, and either:

It gets stuck in the wall, or it despawns for no reason, or it spawns several thousand meters away from my trap (Tek turrets filled with fragments, 25k per turret).
The only time I almost succeeded, it was circling around the trap, but it left for no reason after less than a minute, and it despawned when it left the render distance...
I'm starting to get fed up, so my question is:
Could a rock elemental with an epic saddle 47% and over 40k hp tank the entire Tek turret operation?

Yes traits have effects on baby dinos. And for smaller dinos traits have stronger effect. (That is traits on giga have much weaker effect than same traits on dodo)

Originally, I wanted to use a golem as a kind of bait, because even though my tek turret trap works after a while, she always ends up leaving the area.
I read on the wiki that the golem is immune to all wyvern breath attacks.
I'm afraid that without bait, it will leave.
I'm thinking of combining everything: bladewasp hive, golem, and tek turrets, in case I want to do it several times.

you really do not need the tek turrets, in the time it takes you to set that up, the hive has killed it.
i would ride on something big, that can hit it after you pulled it to you to kee the aggro, also a rifle to hit it from range might help

i used carchars, with 35k hp, just from imprint, and we had some super good saddles, but generally they don't drop below like 80% hp

and for the arial pulling i used a dreadmare with like 20k hp

also the only attack dangerous for the player is the gas one, but with tek-suit or gasmask you should be fine

i do like the carchar myself, for it's size bite aoe, and with some stacks afterwards it heals up super fast if it does take a beating

you are in single player, if you really are too scared, make a backup and try it, if it all goes really pearshaped, reload the save

I think I'll put the bladewasp hive in the middle of the tek turrets with me on my golem next to it.
The tek turrets will serve as defenses and maybe provide additional damage in case those HP are huge.

just think of the fight as if you are attacked by 3 diffrent wyverns at the same time

the higher the dodowyverns hp, the more damage the hive turret does.
against low level dodo's it does like 66k-150k damage
against that 175 it die upwards of 260k a tick
and as far as i can tell it dies equally as fast

the hive turret damage is based on the enemies hp, so more hp, more damage, you really do not need the tek turrets 🙂

Yes 4 carts is excessive and you create problems for other people on server. I've raised batches of dreadnoughts with one cart and about 40 plots on it.

what is this trickery

If you didn't know, carts can autodeposit food into nearby troughs. If you grow berries or crops on them they will deposit those into the troughs. Dreadnoughts need crazy amounts of food whilst raising but with a cart you can easily meet their demands as long as you don't throw out too many.

i did know the deposit thing and dreads eating a ton, just didnt know you could grow crops to do that, i only knew people did meat to transfer, ive raised a few dreads in hopes of killing titans but idk how many ill need

Before transfers opened I used 2 wild tamed dreads to kill the ice and forest titan, just one can kill the desert if you uncryo it on its back. That was with capped saddles and they were high level wilds, 100 and 110 iirc. If you've traded for the mutated lines that are around then one can solo the three biome titans. But king you'll need more, my first gamma king we used 20 imprinted dreads. I don't even have the crazy mutated lines because I just haven't needed them.

i got like 3 or 4 raised with 500k hp with some levels into melee they easily get to 1500, only 2 have a good saddle currently

I would run osds until you get a better saddle bp or even some premades. They weren't that hard to get from purple osds. Also raise some more back ups because this is ark and the game can just screw up. But honestly those stats are way higher than what I used to fight them.

Dont level food. You can put slot cap of extra large trees in its inventory and it will last at least month with no need to feed. It consumes whole food to revive dino and have to be full to do it that means if you level food and are actualy reviving dinos, it will not stay alive longer but shorter.

No once you mount it, it will automatically make a snowball. You then roll this around, while its moving it will fire icicles ahead of it. Roll the ball over the icicles to progress the tame, also you roll it over smaller creatures and it will pick them up too. You have 2 minutes to try and pick up as many icicles and creatures as it wants (there's counters on the screen to tell you how many, high levels want more).

Once it kicks you off you need to retranq it again to go another round.

If its OG the island, i recommend baryonyx for spider and monkey caves. Underwater monkey cave is really hard and i recommend there at least basilosaur, accompanied by great group of xiphactinus. For dragon caves its trickier. Underwster cave same as monkey one, basilosaur with army of x-tunas. Swamp cave megatherium works best, you will need gas masks as well to not die of toxic gas. Big snow cave can be done with rex, and small snow cave with araneo.

You can’t throw out tames inside on official so that carch may do the cave but not the boss

Just avoid the gigas with grappling hooks and/or parachutes. Or if you have access to aberration, use a Rock drake or a glider

If you plan to do the tek cave on alpha, i think a carcha might have a hard time with the gigas there

hey ive got a non dedicated server for me and my girlfriend. we both play on pc but run tyhe game through xbox. we are havin an issue where we cant carry wild dinos. ive tested this with argi ptera and wyverns. ive gone through my settings and enabled pve and flyer carry on pve but iut dosent seem to work. im not sure about any commands or anything like that. i get home at 2pm est time if somone dosent mind helping me out and givin in a go with me. i feel like ive tried everything so please if anyone would be able to help out
