My computer has really good specs and I don't think I could even handle 50 mods. The server owner must have insane specs. I personally run with the most 30. It mostly depends on how beefy the mods are but on average I would assume you could probably run 20-30 if you have a few beefy mods with a lot of smaller mods

Unfortunately its due to the last update done to ASE. Literally 90% of the mods are no longer compatible because of it. Primal Fear is the only one I have that doesn't corrupt. Most modders have either abandoned ARK due to moral conflict or moved onto modding for ASA and abandoning their ASE mods. It sucks but there's really no fix :/

I'm sure there's some really technical fix if you know how to mess with the files properly but honestly you really have to know what you're doing so you don't accidentally mess up the whole game. I know some people are able to load older versions so perhaps you can try that?

It's just luck of the draw really. Swamp Cave, Easy Underwater, and Hard Underwater will be your best chances for a Theri saddle. If you just keep cycling through the 3 by the time you get through the cycle you should be able to start again

I’m on Astraeos and every single time I hit a certain part of the map I disconnect from the server like straight to the dashboard. Doesn’t matter if I’m flying, using a boat, or riding a Dino. My only thought because it doesn’t happen anywhere else on the map is that someone has as base with so much stuff that trying to render it crashes me. Anyone else have similar issues like this before?

depends how you wanna play

• it is playable despite the bugs, but you will just lose progress, and some platforms just have their entire saves wiped
• the game takes up like 200gb, but requires you to have 400gb free if you want it to update
• it takes a very long time to update and patch
• it is hard to run
  those are probably the worst things, but its a pretty fun game if you can work around those i.e. having a large storage drive, backing up save files regularly, not caring too much if you lose tames to the mesh, playing on your own server to not have to suffer with nitrado

if your computer can run it, and you have the knowledge, i would recommend hosting a dedicated server on your computer to play on - since singleplayer mod, like the other person said, is quite buggy

you can still play alone on your server, nobody else will be able to join unless you set that up, but it wont have any of the singleplayer issues

If so, unfortunately it’s been 12 days since we last were able to get on. I went for a map tribe mate got raft and it’s been a perpetual crash. They are aware. There are announcements on work being completed to solve. But maybe knowing that you are not alone helps in a fraction of a way. Beautiful map, lost ability to engage and character that was built since open. Upsetting, sure. Hopefully this is resolved for everyone in Godspeed. I’m optimistic that we didn’t purchase a glitch that will cause permanent issues. Patiently waiting is hard but truly required.

If you get out avoid it. It’s been 11 at least days since my tribe mate and I got stuck there. We had no clue it was a known issue. Now not able to get map to load. We ended up crashing on a raft. Sounds typical now. I’m reading hundreds of instances and trying to hold on to hope. But if you can get out and back in the game you’re in a position where most wish they were. If out just keep clear until fixed. Hope that helps.

Hello All! I’m experiencing an issue with the tribe tower. I placed it about a week ago idk how many days it was burning for but i had the 12 percent bonus for EXP and TAMING. I took all the trophies out and waited for it to burnout. However when I went to pick it up both demolish option and repair option are red. I cannot use them(the options). SO I went to pick it up but it needs to be repaired so I decide to just demolish it and that’s when I found that I had this issue. SO I went to pick up the floor and that’s how I got it to float. I’ve tried blowing up the tower, I’ve tried having repair materials in dedis and inventory, I’ve tried piking it, sword, pickaxe, i can’t do damage to it. Please help.

Has anyone ever encountered this problem before my character is omega bugged out on extinction, I logged out laying on a bed on my skiff to re log because there's a bug where sometimes the skiff won't go up or down when I logged back in my character was randomly falling from the sky in the middle of the city, I can't die, I don't run out of stamina, I don't see any wild dinos, I can't interact with anything like trying to pick up fiber in an attempt to make a bed which wouldn't be possible anyway since there are no wild dinos for me to kill, I ran all the way back to where my skiff was there's nothing there.. it's like my character is stuck in some void of nothingness.

The same way that I told you already. You would load Ark Survival Ascended on your PS5, open the mod list, search Primal Nemesis, install the mod. If you're playing a server, add the mod to the server. If singleplayer, go to create game, mods, activate it

The same server kicked me out beforehand. All my stuff and 90% of our build was gone. Thankfully it came back after I logged back in.

Me: At approximately 50/46 on the map I have discovered a graveyard of sorts. Players, tames ect. It is in the middle of the ocean above the brute artifact cave. It appears to be a dead zone. I disconnected myself in this very spot upon discovering it and was then caught in an endless crash loop being dashboards any time I tried to reconnect to the game. If it wasn't for me having a friend come get me (who plays on pc) I would have never gotten back in. I tried for over an hour

I make occasional entire directory backups so I frankensteined the latest copy of my save folder with an older version (pre 61.44) of the server application. Booted up like a charm.

I'm here now in this server because I will not be regularly updating my server until I know it is completely safe to do so.

Q&A testing is too expensive these days. I miss the old industry standards, lol!

You have a 190GB file as part of Ark. it needs to unpack this to patch it and then pack it again. It’s why you need so much space.

It should get better with the Unreal 5.5 update because then the base game will only contain The Island and you need to specifically install the other maps.

Maeguana is on nursing and feeding other baby dinos, only my baby pyro is not eating from the maeguana. I made sure that there is cooked and raw meat in the mae inventory

that is a corrupted, unreadable texture file. verify the game via steam and completely reinstall mods if that does not fix it.

My graphics keep doing this weird thing where everything goes negative and I can only see certain things. At first it was random, but lately, it is happening more frequently. Usually on tp, I return to it when I relog to fix another error. To fix it I have to log all the way out and all the way back in instead of just halfway as in the past. They just need to render in. Wait there for a bit, go in and out of render, or try walking "through" the terminal a few times. Sometimes you can still access them even though they're not fully rendered. The terminals in the desert biome seem to render faster.

It will technically work but you will run out of VRAM constantly causing drops to 5 or 20fps (depending on what the game decides that day)
on top of that, the game heavily relies on DLSS to make the game look sharp,crispy,not vaseline like and to get a stable image

Not a Bob but it's a SERIOUS PROBLEM- my tribe leaders character is bugged out and unusable after 1,000+ hrs in ... He had 5 Rhyniogantha pheromones that appeared to be expired but still visibly appeared, just with an empty spoil timer. He fed one to a dino and it still worked, so he tried to move to another map w/ 2 in his inventory and 2 in his ark data. Upon map swapping, his character was repeatedly glitching out, with the "loading ark data" screen in and off the screen, until he got kicked. He dropped the 2 pheromones from his inventory but the 2 were stuck in his ark data and it seems to be the reason for the issue. However, our server admin tried to help and couldn't do anything to fix it. He tried to create a new character but the same issue is there since they share the same ark data apparently. So, the question is how can we FORCE CLEAR his ark data?

He did try to go to Club Ark since that previously had cleared our ark data inventory, but it didn't help in any way.

I reached out to Ark's forum page but we expect nothing from them. Is there really NO support for actually game related issues??

(Our server cluster is unofficial and non-dedicated, and our server admin have no way to help in this situation, even a roll back of the map(s) didn't help).

Edit: we play on Play Station 5 & it's a cross play enabled server if that matters.

Yo, just got Ark: Survival Evolved on Switch and tried setting up a non-dedicated game with my partner. I set up a server with default medium settings, set it to private and set up a password. Whenever he'd try to join, he'd get kicked back to the title screen after a loading screen.

We tried having him host, same thing happened.

verification does not require any additional space. updates have to copy the game in order to patch it. it is being split into multiple files in future, so some updates will use less space to patch, but a large patch could still always use up to the full size of the game. this is true for all games, just usually less obvious

Most of the game data is in a file over 180GB in size. It needs to be unpacked to patch it.

When they split the game data so you can choose which maps to download, the patching requirements should become much lower.

Can I find a phoenix in ark the island?

Hey how do I submit a bug report for ark that has been in the game since ase (old ark)

It includes the cave on the island map called the yeti cave (artifact of the strong cave)

I tried submitting the problem in the bug report channel but when I clicked the like it is coming up saying something went wrong plz try again later 😂

what is the actual bug?

sounds like a quirk of the antimesh system more than a bug, strictly.. probably aware of it but low priority, since it is not setting things on fire

No but it’s a bug that allows you to glitch out without having to run out 😂

You must sign in, otherwise it will say "something went wrong", "we could not find the link", etc

i mean.. it looks that way. wont matter to a player why it happens, but it is not a specific, unique situation for the cave

The menu button should still be there, otherwise logging into the site and going to the forum will work also.

cant hurt to report it, it is probably fixable. probably already known, though

could just be something silly like a corner of the cave not being inside the "yes, this is a cave" box
