Yes. They are no different to normal creatures in function. The only difference is they spawn with a level multiplier of 6 instead of 5, so wilds cap at 180 and can give higher base stats. But they still cap out at 450 so in the long run are no stronger or weaker than other tames.

Bring a yuti you likely fine.
Tek cave you have to be worried about purlovia on a theri. If you bring a yuty ride it as you can’t get dismounted. Even a Rex would be better. You have to worry about the theri’s being scared by wild yuti’s too so you have to deal with the wild yuti’s quickly. The gigas can be kited into the lava a little tricky but can be done.

So on a Xi fish with a dimornadon no issue

On a basi with the dimoradon it dies.

To be as specific as possible they seem to die when I reach the part of the ocean where the basi takes depth damage.
As the Xi fish doesn’t get this damage I think this is what is killing the shoulder pets.

Id either of you want to test it should be easy to replicate the issue.

I've had two drakelings die off my shoulder, one was just random no obvious reason whilst I was in a cave on rag. The other one was when an alpha tuso in the mesh grabbed my mosa, drakeling instantly died. After the alpha was dead my mosa was still inside the mesh but not antimeshed whilst I just popped back out into open water. So I could cryo my mosa back out but the drakeling was just gone, no body. So I'm assuming it's something to do with mesh issues.

As someone else said I would recommend vanilla with sprinkles. We use it on ours and we all love it. It does very much blend in with the game so it can be easily overlooked as to the “buttons” to use it. The person who recommended it for our server has said there is a good chunk of information about it on YouTube.

I’m on Xbox so I can’t say much in regards to CPU but I’m having similar crashing issues. I’ll be playing and crash in certain areas of the map (we’re on Rag) or when I go to download dinos as soon as I hit creatures I crash. Doesn’t matter if it’s at an ob or at a transmitter. As far as we know it’s only that account having issues. As I have another for a crafting character that works just fine. Often it takes multiple times (on average 4) to get back on. The furthest I can get is putting in the password for our server before crashing again. I have also done the same of deleting saved files as well as game reinstallation. Still having the issues. I’m chalking it up to game bugs still lingering from the last massive issue they had.

Even official can be good. Unnoficial can make it too easy with insane rates. Best watxh a few youtube videos to inderstand basics. Do t ask people for tames or to join their tribe. It will mark you as lazy with others and you wont have a good time. You will get frustrated but after about midgame you will actually enjoy it. On pcgamepass you cannot play pvp though

Steam is supposed to allocate space for the download and when it decompresses, patches but I have seen it fail if temp is too small. 64G ought to be fine for, say the latests patch and that is all you are doing. Patching mods from within the game is another story. For that you need to ask curseforge their requirements

Well, if you have 2k hours on PS, it would easily run well, and even more so if I have the PS5 PRO, because many recommend playing it on the PS5 and because I am a player on official servers.

I play single player on a base PS5 it barely runs moro 4/5 PB (had to uninstall one) draka and sparky as the dinosaur mods. The rest is just tiny things like Dino painter or a spy glass or a stacking mod. I still crash really hard.

However my series X I guess before 5.5 (my friends are ps so and none dedicated has no cross play) it runs so much better (can’t say after Havnt played much) but I had more then what I had on my PlayStation ran likes. Charm

We are running a dedicated server and all purchased bob's tall tales today. we switched from game pass to steam, I adjusted the IDs of our characters so we do not lose stuff. now to the problem... when we learn an engram from the dlc, it consumes the engram points and everything is fine... until we relog and stuff is not unlocked anymore but the engram points stay gone

If yo uwant to join your server. Find ip of the server on battlemetrics, copy it and paste it in console in ark menu like this (open ip:port) <---- write this without () and you will easily join even if you dont see server FIX
