Uhhh, your capped at 20 muts per lineage side so if you just keep hitting your mutated male against clean females your chances go down by 50% once you get to that 20 but it stays on the father's lineage allowing you to continue to mutate from the mothers side.

You can share it regardless of them lowering spawns, unofficials/sp aren't connected to officials and can use that stuff freely. I ended up using Spawn Blocker, helped me lower the 500 surface reapers 😭

Depends how much you want. A little? Kill trilobites on beaches, or tame a Basilosaurus/Tuso (those are end-game tames usually). A good amount? Oil rocks, usually snow biomes. Or Dung Beetles for renewable. Tons? Oil wells on scorched earth.

If you leave the mod on until it is integrated in base game before removing yes the ones tamed via the mod will stay . Had this happen with a gigantoraptor. Tamed one via mod before it was introduced to base game and I removed that mod as soon it was integrated in base game. Still use that gigantoraptor to this day

Put that in your Game.ini and it will replace the pyromane with a glow bug on Abberation. Ill do for other maps if anyone wants. I also have one to lower Xenos on the surface but i havent tested it yet.

In ASE the spawn range of Wyverns was map wide. But the spawners outide the trench ran rarely. In ASA it seems the only range is the trench and that is enforced hard. They'll despawn if not in range of a player once so much as above the top of the trench.

go into your ark steam folder (right click go to manage, and browse local files) there you should be able to find a saves folder with your map name containing all player and entity data. you should be able to play that straight into the corresponding spot on any pc to play it however you may not load into your character unless you have your character/tribe data which should also be in that same folder.

Put it in the female (or now male) inventory of the breeding parents. It is consumed when they mate.

It can at the most raise your chance of getting the higher stat to 65%, but does not change your mutation rate.

This is not useful when you are starting a mutation line with Perfect Fs and a perfect M, of course. But very handy for making perfect stat dinos and for breeding once you have mutated males.

Unlucky. Hesperonis taming requires very weird processes. The typical method involves using graples to trap one in a cage before feeding it fish.

Note that the popular method for killing a Giga without access to a way of trapping it is one of the major bleed creatures. Deinosuchus and Thyla should work on maps where Gigas spawn if you don't have an imprinted one of your own with a decent saddle. Ravagers too little health. Carnos have too little mobility. Carch just out heals the damage with stacks.

Well it's mainly a per case basis, it depends alot on the rest of your settings but it doesn't cost much to test them.

For me it results in slightly lower performance (r.Shadow.Virtual.Enable and r.ScreenPercentage being responsible for a huge part of it) but with the benefit of a quite nice visual quality, mostly artifact/glitch free.

You can always lower r.ScreenPercentage to gain back FPS but you image will turn blurrier the lower you go.

WHEN will the Pyromane be officially removed from Aberration? I can understand it spawns in areas where lava is as it spawns on Scorched and the Center. But Aberration doesn't have any of that, so there's no need for them to be there.

you potentially do need to. nondedicated uses peer to peer holepunching, which tries to bypass NAT (why port forwarding is needed), but it is basically a hack and does not work on some internet services

Rolling over is easy. The counter goes up crazy when you start breeding things with high mutation counters to other things with high mutation counters.

If you breed for colors, you'll see mutation counts in the thousands on creatures. But you want to push that all the way to the MAXINT size and then over into negative.

The creatures may in fact have zero actual mutations, but the counter is some insanely high number. Once it hits max, it rolls over. And ASA, like in ASE, stupidly just checks if you have <20 mutations. So those super negative mutation counters continue to generate at the full rate instead of half.

You can just continue to breed past 20/20. You only get mutations from the females that have 0 mutations.

But it's half the rate, which is already very bad outside modded or highly boosted unofficials.

So you can always have males with 21 or 22 or whatever mutations in something breeding with 0 mutation females.

You never breed with mutated females unless you are either mixing final dinos or trying to breed a new male to continue mutations.

20/20 means 20 out of 20. Not 20 paternal and 20 fraternal mutations. that would be bad with how Ark works.

Don't worry about 20 on each side or anything. When you combine all the stats, the counter is going to go way up regardless. Breed clean lines of each stat. Once you hjit 20 mutations, the chance drops to 3.5 for a chance for a mutation instead of the 7 for 20 and under

what my buddy said is you have a dino with 20 mutations and then bread with another dino at 20 mutations on the other side breed that util you get 40 on one side and breed that 40 with the 20 on the other side till you get 60 on one side 0 on the other and breed that with your 40 to 0 and get 100 rinse and repeat till you have it roll over then breed with one that has postive on the other side and it will stay under 20 so you can roll fror mutations is that how it works

99% of this works the same ASA and ASE. That 1% is that in ASA the mutations are tracked seperate so you can move them to better base dinos.

In ASE, mutations are tied to the base stat. So you are locked into that line.

And you never go 255 in ASE on a stat you care about. 254 is max so you can drop the 80+ player levels on top.

well, yeah. But in a war dino those are going to get destroyed by someone who bred 254 hp and 254 dmg since they can put in players levels and end up with 2x or 3x your max stats.

The reason is simple. Once the raw stat hits 255 the game locks it. No more changes. You can try, but you cannot put any more useful points into it.

So when you are making uber dinos the real max is 253 or 254 depending on where you start since you get 2 points per mutation.

Then tack on imprint bonus and whatever level split you want to optimize. But those dinos are already stupid. Like Giga fighting raptor packs, etc.

The 1/20 goes away. It all ends up on the male side as 21/20.

So the mutation comes in as 1/20 from the mother and the father cannot contribue anything as he's 20/20. But the baby you grow up to replace that father for the next generation will give 21/20 to their next children. And the females will give 0/20 when no mutation happens and 1/20 when a new mutation happens.

Unless you are trying to roll over, then the numbers are just all junk.

No. When you are breeding for rollover, you don't care. You aren't looking for new mutations. Just two things: that your original mutation (or any bonus mutations you get) is kept and that the counter is going up.

You might get some mutations from the baby that was <20. but very quickly both sides will be like 20/400000+.

quick question... i host a cluster of servers right, last week one of the guys crashed during transfer... which i used admin powers to put him back in his tribes accorss the cluster..... but lo and be hold its happened again he got kicked off mid server transfer and his back to no chars again but if i look his chars are in the cluster information is there anyway to just relinks him back with his acc rather than recreating each time this happens
