It would be nice if the requirements for the bell call were a little less strict, to allow for more accessibility and customization, although I can definitely understand the story/lore/IP reasons why that might not happen. It's like jellyfish call and some other calls from past seasons.
I own a journey pack and having the traveler's call linked to a mask is quite disappointing because I don't want to always wear the mask. That's why i do not agree with the call being linked to any items. Players might need to wait for moomin TS but it is better if they don't have to wear certain things to activate it too. 🥹

I jus figured it was an easter egg, so the special process to “unlock” it is part of the point. Like, yes the penguin outfit is fun but it’s not meant to be a standard outfit, and part of the fun is doing all the silly things to get through the wind wall maze to reach it. Or those weird pig/sheep statues that show up in OOB areas—it’s not nearly as fun if they were just plopped right in the middle of Aviary

Having a bell voice on it's own is not weird, bells is a big part of sky. alot of maps have bell towers and windpath is decorated with bells.
Also it's quite funny to assume everyone want to wear a bell on their neck. I'm not familiar with moomin so i am not too fond of having to cosplay as the character to be able to use the sound.
But it is only my opinion about this, I've left feedback and hope my opinion will be considered too.
If devs decide it should be an easter egg, then I'll just go with it~..

Also I'll explain my other reason about letting bell call to be on it's own:
I watched moomin episode about invisible girl, from my understanding she became invisible from being abused by her aunt and even became voiceless.
So linking the bell sound to this appearance might send a strange message, why made us into the oppressed version of the character.
But at the end of next episode she finally bravely let her voice out to scold moomin papa.
If we can use the sound freely seems to be more fitting and positive.
I just think it made more sense. Good night beta.

There are players who find capeless cute and make one to wanna dress them up. I know some who didn't know unlocking a wing buff sends them to the pity room when they tried to unlock the chibi mask for their capeless when shattering allowed capeless to earn ac through shards.

Respectfully, it's highly unlikely for tgc to consider capeless players when designing new content, they would probably consider moths more (with low wing counts and such). But this game isn't designed for intentionally capeless players as what Elysian has said, it's a purposeful handicap

I made a new account once and i was buying a consteation pant being capeless, and when I go to home I was in pitty room

The hard things to be capeless are funny when we get bored after do the same things all the time, and much capes dont matches well with some pants even switching postures. Is really hard go to some places or do some things being capeless, so would be better if just the bell and the pants should be necessary to get the call instead the no mask for the players that do it

I wouldn't say so, we can't say for sure since beta status is always WIP and things can change, but it seems pretty normal for a collaboration season

I think people are mostly upset that specifically Snufkin's outfit and hat and Moomin's ears & tail are IAPs because they want them so badly, which is understandable to some degree. Nothing is set in stone until it hits live but in beta they switched the Moomin plush to be an ult instead of a separate IAP so that's cool. ^_^ I don't think there are quite as many IAP as Aurora had so far?

Other than that, I think some items still have WIP signs on them. So maybe they'll get official signs when it comes to Live.

• All the painting props and flower crown still have "wip" on semi-finished icons.
• Several items are still missing an icon entirely: the chandelier prop, the Snufkin + Ninny invisible pants, and the Hattifattner cape.

bell honk works! you need to wear invisipants/dress and the bell and no face mask and also set honk to the base honk for it to take effect - not sure if others hear it or if they hear the regular base honk

i was doing quest 4 and ... well it just ended but I got no complete signal and am stuck in the butterfly land

My own take on 5 was in the task itself, Lil My says it as she sees it, giving Ninny something to think about and not to always apologise for her faults. The void I took as, Ninny is still not brave enough yet to do the hard yards as she's not mentally strong enough yet so she took the easy route which is not necessarily always the best route. This was how I read it. I'd love to see more thoughts from other players what they thought.

I was surprised at the main story quest honestly, I know My can and does say whatever she's thinking, but I was surprised she said she'd biff Ninny's nose But when I thought more on it I did realise it was to provoke some sort of frustration or anger because she feels Ninny needs to get angry to overcome her troubles

I didn't consider the void quest to be Ninny being hesitant or not brave enough yet though, that's an interesting perspective! I was distracted by falling off lots though so that might be why

Weird stuff happens in beta. It's not meant to be a 100% copy of the live game, so some things will be missing in beta compared to live. OTOH, sometimes beta gets stuff that live doesn't/never gets. Just how it goes.

And that's how beta needs to be—beta has to be a place where we experiment and try out weird things, and the live version is where we prioritize the full, intended gameplay experience.

Tbh if tgc refuses to collab with Moomin, there wouldn't be a meaningful story conveyed in the quests that fits the core message of Sky. Like I swear the story of Ninny would resonate to a lot of people so that's what it takes just so that everyone gets to experience the story and its valuable lessons

What benefit does this give Sky? Is it just a soapbox for Moomin now? If there's no Sky elements or Sky worldbuilding found in the collabs, then there's little point in approaching them in the first place. Prince and Aurora understood this, Deer kinda understood it.

There is an important point. It gives Sky as a place where people experience the valuable aspects of life and lessons. Like how Aurora taught the importance of environments, TLP about friendship and the Deer about the consequences of harming nature etc

Moomin's story tells the story of trauma in an extremely RAW way and I feel that's absolutely important to convey to the people that they're valuable and they can be loved by people who truly care for them

And Moomin shows that people will be able to get through the hardest times of life with this story

If you're in OG Home and get the infinite season of radiance loop of fun, then close the game and run as fast as you can to aviary. You won't make it. But once the loop finishes, run again and you'll get to aviary. Once the intro finishes, you'll find yourself back at Home and there will be no more loop.

Hey how do I unlock the realms in aviary? I tried to unlock it through quest but it seems it's stuck as well since I'm on the eden level of the quest and Eden still closed

Hmm. I think if there was a two embers season it would have a clearer symbol than a small piece of clothing. Regardless, there's still plenty more chances in 2025 for the Two Embers season to show up. So there is something to look forward to!

Don't worry, we really tried to get as many existing cosmetics dyeable as possible in this initial run! There were hundreds (over a thousand I think) of cosmetics to go through so rollout is going to take a little time

News reporters* this just in thousands and maybe even tens of thousands are now unable to access beta do to the sheer amount of dye being dumped into servers

Sometimes the first beta will beta really hard and have more crashes than a test environment usually does. Thank you for your patience in the meantime--we're working to get those fixed!

Yeah more stuff will be made dyeable over time! It is a time-consuming process to add the dyeability effect to clothing and we are still a very small team, so it will take some time

idk when i finished the first quest i could go to a dyeing station and you could put colours on the cosmetic (whether you had the available dye or not) and see what it looked like together before actually spending the dye and finalising it - so yeah i would say you can preview it
