It's server merge issues! Make sure to bug report. If you get merged into a server where someone else is doing the quest, you can't do it. I found the way to fix it was leave and re-enter

When I was doing it, I was able to burn cobwebs off one table and light the candle on it. Then ?? Then I was able to find a random table that didn't have a candle lit, after that it proceeded

Yeah at the 1st time I thought that the quest is bugged, because there were no cobwebs hahaha, but its the servers that didnt allowed me to complete it.

Servers usually cause silly bugs, especially early into testing I find so many server merge bugs

If the stars align, and the server merge gods grant you an empty server at the start of the quest, you can complete it. I’d bug report it for now yeah, but I noticed if you can start with the spiderweb clearing, you’re able to progress

So if you leave the area and return the fest tech stuff and musical voyage pop up leaves (well you can't sit at the tables anymore) so either it's an accidental early sneak peek or it's just not meant to be there at all but now I'm wondering if we're getting a potential collab for the end of the season

Just to add to this: These graphics effects are fairly expensive in terms of memory/file size, so it's not feasible to just add it to every single area with water. Feedback could be helpful for the team to reference once we're at a point where it's possible to apply the effect to other areas in the game.

Honestly there's other ults out there with less complex and 'special' designs, it's not always about them being super duper fancy, sometimes it's a case of that guide has this style and that's their ults, but I think players have expectations that they should be singing and dancing items because they're listed as ults

A long time ago wishlisted an idea where water paths connected areas of water in sky, the same way wind paths connect some places that are hard to reach, allowing us to use swimming more.

I wonder if this area could unlock something like this considering the abyss symbol and water channels other people have pointed out. However it looks like sitting in boats is the main way to travel here so far and the reason I like wind paths is it doesn’t (intentionally) separate you from friends like meditating at temple/boats do to go between areas.

I think abyss spirits are scavengers in the Abyss season, but this season now adds that they're like voyagers, the ones who explore the realms on boat

So it appears that they knew what they can do to help the budding musicians - to bring them to Aviary to help them develop their passion

-Moments boat appears all the time, you just need the spirits

-Enchantment boat might appear after you've completed Eden

There seems to be a bugged skippable cutscene after the cellist emotes no and before they yeet you out of the memory void. I got sent back beside the spirit husk after the no emoting and my progress bar had 1 notch left to complete but there's nothing left to do.
I didn't get the part where the cellist yeets me out.

It warped me. Just wasn’t triggering the follow spirit mechanism. Went back. Restarted app. Also still had the grand piano prop. So updated that while sobbing and then was able to complete quest

I had an epiphany

Okay so yall probably figured this out earlier but I just digested the third quest and the connection between the mannequins named beginning and flourishing as well as abyss and revival symbols being present

So basically we watch the duet partners from their humble beginnings as abyss kids learning to play piano and cello together and as they grow up they become so talented that commodore is like yall need to travel and show the rest of the world and so they scoot off to aviary where they perform for other spirits (revival!!!) and that's them flourishing into very talented young musicians and then giant crabs come and ruin everything idk why

Okay beta buds new epiphany so you know how we interact with the guide and they play their song and we go light the husk and enter cellist’s memory and then play the same song on the piano - what if that’s the only way we can reach the cellist’s memory because they trapped themself away, it would make sense since they shoo us away and we can’t free them after we relive their memory

It also makes me wonder if they sacrificed themselves for duet and whatever happened after the crabs invaded is too hard for cellist to face

Pianist is stuck outside longing for cellist to reunite with them, completely whole as a person but empty too without their partner

Meanwhile the cello on stage is broken, fragmented like cellist could be, the contrast of it beside the intact piano……. SOMEBODY SAVE THEM BOTH BEFORE I CRY
