i only had a torch for protection and only made it a few steps into the endless rain apparently part of the problem is now it's more optimal to sprint through that part than going slowly without jumping which threw a lot of people off

i think once that stunlocking problem gets fixed, this'll be my favorite version of eden

Also the number of wls you lose increased too from the update I heard, that's what making people get lesser red candles I think?

i have noticed i've been consistently losing 5 wl per hit instead of 3-6 like before i don't do eden often enough to see if i've been getting hit more often though

I think wl lost is scaled by your current wl count, so you lose more wl at a higher wl count, I find I always lose 4-5 wl when I get hit after my elder mask breaks

And I’d say my mask generally breaks when I’m around 165-170 wl left? Normally breaks towards that last checkpoint before the hill

I see 😭😭 no wonder! To elaborate there Sanctuary wasn't farmable for almost a month. Plants wont burn, servers won't merge, geyser... for some they mentioned that the water appears black, skykids arms (esp when using camera) bugged out a lot. They would appear behind the back? And there's a lot more. As a sanctuary farmer, it was painful.

As a tester I can say we did test quite a lot, but it doesn't mean bugs are easy to fix and I'm guessing they had schedules to uphold. They'll always get the most reports from live though with millions of players spotting all the creepy crawlies out and about

I'd say yes since it's fairly cheap and a really nice game, I understand there might not be a massive replayability incentive for you, but you might still enjoy the first run through and even consider going again to see things you might have missed.

In order to unlock the second cloak you might have to run through a few times in any case.

Well Journey is also social but less so compared to Sky. You can play alongside others but it's more random and you won't know who they are (unless you're on pc I think), be able to communicate outside of chirps, etc.

If anybody is wondering about playing Journey it's worth visiting #other-tgc-games to ask members who have played it what they liked/disliked etc.

I would imagine they are getting quite a bit of feedback about the current issues considering the frustration I have seen people express in several channels. I do think they pay attention to feedback, but right now they probably have more pressing things to handle than responding to it immediately.

I think the most important thing to remember is they value player input from everybody, it doesn't matter that you're only one person or if you don't buy IAP, they want to make Sky as good of an experience for as many players as possible and all feedback is important in helping them to achieve that. It's not easy to balance different ideas and suggestions from all players, but if you don't provide your voice then they'll never know what you want in the first place.

I'm sure plenty of folks have already asked for compensation for the issues, but I don't think they can begin to address anything like that until they can resolve the bugs
