For this one, I have one suggestion, if you like to listen to outside music (e.g Spotify, etc) while playing Sky, go check the app 'Game Launcher' (iirc, it's pre-installed on almost all of new Samsung Galaxy devices).

It has built in "mute app" and you don't have to toggle the In-game Music Switch, and see if it still crashes your game.

Get another device. Your device manufacturer apparently didn't design that tablet for gaming as it is completely missing Vulkan and uses a very old version of OpenGL. Those two graphics drivers need to be implemented by the device manufacturer. There isn't a feasible or easy way to add those in.

(Smooth 30 fps on screen, but screen recording can barely do 22 fps due to Google's shoddy implementation of casting screen). I highly suggest not using it if you don't have a powerful device.

I am using android, and it comes out that this button can appear or can not appear. In different locations. And i didn't understood the behavior of this button.
I used to use the native app for screen recordings, but after latest update when i start the record - all sounds disappears.
I even not speaking about records without GUI, like on iphones...

I am very disappointed, coz i need it for sky music recording, or creating the Happy-Birthday-videos and so on...

The update has this sound bug which cant be resolved. If even Android's internal video recorder can't record music, there's nothing you can do, with one exception:

• record the sound separately via an audio cable (and an adapter) connected to your PC and you can sync audio with video - if it's an urgent project. In the meantime #report-a-live-bug to let the devs know your device is also affected so you can wait for fix rest assured.

Anything is possible. Likely? Xbox and PS4/5 use x64 CPU instructions, so... A lot different than iOS/Android/Switch that uses ARM instructions. They would need to do a lot more work than they did for Switch to get it to work on other consoles or PC.

I use a Galaxy A12 and I always get the screen which says that my phone does not meet the minimum requirements but it plays rather well. No severe frame drops except in Vault's first 3 floors. Although when I updated to Android 11 I get some texture bugs now but strangely enough I got the high quality vegetation (when I was on Android 10 I had low quality vegetation)

Dear android prodigys! @median wren just posted a screenshot their phone is able to play Sky at 74fps. Can you please correct them why is that not possible? As per my knowledge, faster screen refresh rate is irrelevant to Sky fps because GPU is capable of a certain fps for Sky, the phone wont make it more. No matter how fast is screen refresh rate, can't multipy it.

For people who play on Samsung cell phones that use Exynos and have a terrible performance in the sky and can't run at 60 fps.

This is a problem with the cell phone rom and the lack of compatibility with Exynos, I use a custom rom like LineageOS and the performance difference is very big, but if you don't know about custom rom I wouldn't recommend you to use it, but if you want both play sky in a good fluidity i recommend using custom rom in exynos.

I have an idea to make sure it isn't one of your user apps causing sky to not run. Can you utilize the multiple user feature to make a new user and only install Sky, no other user apps and see if it starts up all the way? If it does, we know it's one of your apps causing the freeze.

If it doesn't, then it could be a system app or Sky itself having some odd issue with your phone.

There really isn't one due to how segmented Android is. Your best bet would be to get a device with a Snapdragon 800 series SoC. I.E. even the Galaxy S9 with a Snapdragon would play Sky smoothly at 60 fps, even though it's over 3 years old. (Do not get the Exynos model, it would have random stutters) edit: well, due to a current bug, all devices have a random stutter, but Exynos would have that even without that bug

It could be another app. I would still suggest trying the multiple user option and if it does resolve the issue, install your other apps one at a time on that until it breaks on that user also. Then you'll know the culprit. Once you find the culprit, deleting the user is a simple revert.

If you want to know exact problem. Good, Let me tell you why the non-UI recording in android is impossible. First, iOS have "layers". For Sky,the game (level) it self is rendered by Vulkan and UI (menu) is OpenGL. So Sky can use this to make in game recording that only record Vulkan part, so there's only level show up and this is non-UI record. Second, Android only record the entire screen. It doesn't like iOS have "layers". For example, A pc using OBS only records entire of your monitor. Same concept as Android recording things.

You can ask the android expert's in this server, it will be similar or same answer.
