It's most likely not compatible with your device. Usually, Android devices need an external app to screen record in Sky. One I've seen commonly recommended is AZ Screen Recorder on the Play Store

Checking in geekbench website it seems to run 64bit so it should be able to install sky, but performance may not be nice…
If you can find samsung store nearby that have the phone on display, you may be able to check in the phone’s playstore if it’s able to install sky (sky usually dont appear in playstore if the device not compatible)

you dont get more wing lights after each run if you don’t buy wing buffs, you have to buy wing buffs after each run every week for a year if we follow your theory
plus if you have all the base game wing buffs, you’d have to wait every two weeks for a ts with a buff you have not bought

You dont need to unlink fb, I’m just asking if you have another method you have linked before. The issue is cuz u signed in on it with fb, that method often have this bug still unresolved somehow. Quick solution is to sign in with other method, but if you didnt link it to anything else, you can try check if sign in with local account loads this sky account or another. If it’s the correct account then you can just link nintendo there, if it loads other account tho, I don’t have anything else to suggest but to contact ingame support.

It's really a Huawei problem i think.
I just carefully put my finger and it scrolls upwards, keep scrolling until you see "send code" button. Click it, just beside is where you enter the code. Do the same in the next menu when it asks for "trust this device" . Also sometimes when you minimise the keyboard, it appears correctly

My recommendation: do not use Facebook in the future. It has been very buggy recently. Link your progress with another method and log in with that (possible after the issue gets resolved).

if the newer phone is passed all the requirements listed there, you can definitely play Sky.

However, pls note that Samsungs are tend to have more issues than other phones here, so its best to avoid them. And rn some model of Vivo and Motorola are also facing display bugs that last more than a month, you can learn more about these bugs happening in Android devices in #bug-reports-android

Furthermore, before buying the new phone, its recommended to check Google Play Store first and see if you can find Sky app there to avoid the problem of incompatibility later on. Fighting friend!

Ooo my phone isn't new but Idk if it is considered as old. It is a Samsung Note 9 running on Mali-G72, which is not one of the GPU supporting 60fps according to the list. However I was able to turn on the graphics option up to 3 on my phone before today (still be able to now but was said "not compatible" on Google play). I am not sure if the 60fps i got previously was a "fake" 60fps. But it kinda makes me feel odd for the whole quick process for it to go from full graphics to incompatible, bc I used to have another phone that blocked me from using the max graphics option before it went incompatible.

I am still struggling to find a tablet that runs beta on android. I returned one because it wouldn’t load at all. I got the Samsung a8 lite and now it will at least load but the graphics are pretty bad and I always receive the notification at launch the device doesn’t meet the minimum specifications. Thanks! I had looked at the s6 lite as a swap and upgrade for the a8 lite that I just got but I was worried of running into the same issue again.

I think it may just be the chipset on the a8, everything else seemed okay and it runs, just laggy and blurry with the pre-game prompt

I have searched bug reports from the two models you listed us here, and s21 seems to have more reports than a54. It may be that s21 is more popular or just that a54 has less issues. Therefore, i went to read about a54; it said to be able to run Genshin decently, i think it may be a good choice for Sky Cotl as well however, Samsung is quite infamous here for causing more issues than other devices, so you may want considering that information

On my moto g82 5G (android12) i was able to (perhaps temporarily) fix the text bug, by changing the display color preset to "Saturated".
It would be helpful to know if other devices (affected by the bug) get to render text by changing this setting.
Side note, if your device is dealing with this bug, don't play around with the color tone slider, it did, for some reason, corrupt my sky files on game start up, needing to reinstall to fix it.

After playing without text since the end of aurora, i got tired and yesterday i buyed another phone known to have this issue, the realme 9 5G, the change of setting did the trick, but after some digging, i found that both phones have Poled screens, another form of OLED, this comes with slightly different display drivers. I started dividing the numbers by my working wage and looking at it as "hours of my life". How many hours did I want to spend at work for the sake of a phone that I didn't think I was gonna end up using this much?

At the time, not much, obviously. So I got a phone in the lowest possible price bracket. It was the best phone Cricket offered, I got some of the specs, storage, camera megapixels... Everything you can advertise on the fly, but it's an actually terrible system.

Keep in mind, my old phone couldn't run Sky at all and by that time, my younger brother was already playing it. I was happy enough just to have decent enough specs, but I just didn't get around to actually playing the game because I REALLY thought I'd have a Switch by now.

I haven't played Sky in awhile. I clicked on the app and it opened. The screen said "there is an update, click to update."

I clicked the screen. It directed me to delete a bunch of stuff so there would be space to update Sky. I deleted stuff.

Finally the Play store starts updating the app, then gets to 100%. But the green "update" button doesn't change to "open," it changes to "uninstall."

When I click the Sky app icon, I get the same screen as before, directing me to update the app. But Sky in the play store says the app is 100% downloaded or whatever.

Any ideas?

And no xander, it is not possible to change screens without hard moding.
I honestly have no idea why some devices are not displaying text on sky. But given that it only happens on sky and the fact that graphic drivers are tied to OS versions and no manufactures overlay software, we are dependant on tgc for an actual fix

Each Elder mask comes with a shield function that will protect you from damage from crabs, krills, shards or rocks. The mask will not protect you from rain or wastewater. The protection last for only one hit or until it's shattered and then it will need to be recharged.
To recharge the mask, go to the temple at the end of the realm (depends on which mask you wear and want to recharge) meditate, watch the cutscenes with the Elder or you can summon the Elder at the ||orbit|| after Eden and the mask will be fixed again.

That's... Modding. Unless you are changing between 2 identical modules. And if they are different it would also require software modding, kernel level software modding. Phones are hard.
Either way, most android devices have very few core services altered by the manufacturer, because that would break Android and be a nightmare to maintain. That's one of the reasons modern Samsung flagships are troublesome sometimes.
In the case of the text bug, based on what little info we have, I'm inclined to believe TGC could progressively fix it on more devices, but they are painfully slow... 8+ months slow.
The game seems to be quite inflexible when it comes to adapting itself to different hardware, i can only imagine what it will cost(dev effort wise) to make it run on pc.

Yeah definitely modding, which its perfectly okay in my book lol.
But a screen swap wouldn't necessarily fix the bug, because the drivers that android uses for display management would remain the same. They can accommodate and self calibrate based on the data they are getting from the display, but you need a compatible display.
To even attempt to fix the bug, i believe rooting and further services manipulations would be necessary.
All of this being pointless, no average user can be expected to potentially brick their devices just to play sky normally. We are not talking about 10 year old devices, these are medium range phones with off the shelf parts.
And if games like genshin can run at 60fps on an adreno 610 without issues, all the responsibility falls on tgc.
Also this is the weirdest bug I have ever encountered in a mobile game, it's like the text is hard coded and being rendered on a different layer within the game engine, or something within those lines, it could explain why they are delaying seemingly simple qol touches like stopping tutorial text on years old accounts.
And if they need to redirect these layers calls for every device that uses a slightly different graphic driver... Then we will always have to deal with this issue.

Some phone's does allow downgrading to last known state. But you need to do your own research as many phones have allow, have restrictions or straight up not allowing downgrade.

If your phone manufacturer website does host Firmware and have your phone model on it, then make sure you download the firmware update that is Specifically ON YOUR REGION! Different region have minor or major tweaks that might cause your Google Services not working or straight up bricking your device

If you can't download the firmware, either the manufacturer didn't host the firmware that your device uses or you can't downgrade it because the manufacturer didn't allow it

You can just play it normally, it's kinda infuriating, but it works, don't making it complicated

imo, having device with 100 million ram is a blessing, I can run full os with it, and there are select cpu that support that much of ram size and mostlikely it will be server grade thus ram has a lot faster io speed than internal storage so loading of game assets will not be an issue anymore. Just the glaring disadvantage on this setup is I can't turn it off.

Ram doesn't really mean much - Toast meant it in a general way and is right: these days phones barely have less than 4/8 Gb of RAM (so best not to talk about small extremes) and it's great to know that Sky uses at most about 1GB of RAM which is pretty small considering its device load and graphics. The operation system can use a lot of ram but android has smart ram handling and can free up memory when ram is low. More ram / more speed is mostly true by switching amongst apps mostly, because RAM is used by the system mostly to keep apps in them for faster launch. Sky however uses pretty much GPU processing power and pretty much depends on Vulkan, therefore the key elements to run the game smoothly are strong GPU and bare androids with good and frequently updated graphics drivers. I have seen some 4gb RAM phones running Sky smoothly up to 60fps and you can find many many phones which crash often or can't run Sky at all with 8-16GB RAM. Therefore in this context what Toast meant to say is pretty much correct in a channel which is meant to discuss android compatibility tech questions related to playing Sky.

A54 is prone to bugs and performance won't be great either. Expect frame drops on normal mode too. If you want a stable phone on a budget check the Poco X3 pro

I play on a Samsung A53 and it runs quite smoothly, so I don't think you would run into any major problems. Maybe occassional freezing/crashing, but it is rare for me.
(And since A54 is in general an upgrade from A53, I think you should do fine)

Even if the A53 doesn't have bugs rn, because of the known buggy graphics drivers that Samsung gives us, it could happen in the future. Also sky is not that good optimized for Samsung since Samsung slapped their own ui onto android that could lead to more bugs and worse experience.
A used pixel 5 (runs 60 fps) refurbished costs 300€ for me and it's a really great and optimized phone
