Season of AURORA was an unexpected gem of a season to end 2022. At the beginning I wasn't that impressed (before the concert announcement), yeah it was quite nice and had lore told in a nice way through the music of THE singer for Sky.

A Sky celebration through music

This was the 2nd time we had the Aurora concert in beta, there were around 3-3.2K beta players in total. The concert was much more than just the songs of Aurora, it had Sky lore told through well picked songs that match the situation. It was truly one of a kind experience.

I screamed when they teased it because I ALWAYS wanted an advanced camera functionality in Sky and well here we are! Also the seasonal area is one of the best areas we've got so far. Its big, full of life, and really is on par with other large areas like Ark and Sanctuary Islands in my opinion :3

A new home

The first phase of the Project Aviary

I still have faith with a new Aviary season expanding the village to new boundaries

Omg, it was my theory as well! During the Season of Moments, I was making theories about Sky deer.

fr, it had so much personality... the current aviary is so narrow and.. small?
the more round map gave the beta aviary a more complete look, and there was so much opportunity for easter eggs and such..

well aviary clearly isn’t complete so… for example this area is still covered up for the future
just like we had a duets precursor in this build, it eventually came out as a full fledged season

At this place there is the small plant that cannot be burned that protrudes from the clouds. For me it is obvious that this indicates that this area will come in the future 👀

there used to be a huge darkness tree hidden behind the clouds! it was removed at some point but i was able to see it and there was a special message saying something similar to "you don't have enough power to burn this"

The collaboration with "A deer of Nine Colors" and Sky surprisingly worked so well! Despite being built like a classic Sky season, the music was quite different and I liked it. I feel like this season was slightly underrated imo.

I feel that Season of Nesting was slightly overhated, this because of mostly furniture as part of the season pass. I quite enjoyed making my little nest!

And you CANT deny that the little figurine prop is one of the most useful UGs ever.

A grand birthday hurrah!

2024 seemed to take many events and take them to the next level. For the 5th anniversary of Sky, the Anniversary Event (originally called Days of Sky) trascended into SkyFest, an event that was both in person and in game! The irl one was for a few days while the in game one lasted your typical 2 weeks. One of the greatest Sky events of all time hehe.

Getting the light back

Season of Moomin, despite its flaws, had some of the best quests ive seen. The music also added a lot to those quests.

those dark sequences were amazing. way better than the main storyline, that thing was chopped up, and the "memories" after the quest completion were very detached from one another (as a moomin fan) (very disappointed Snukfin didn't show up until the memories)

This patch has a lot of cosmetics (I’ve counted 38!!) so I’ve compiled photos of them. Because there are so many, I’ll be sending a couple at a time, according to how they are currently obtained in game. This will take a while because of the cool down in this channel xD

Mega Dark Plant.
The 2nd pic in flight still doesn't show it entirely, but you can see most of it. The 1st pic, I'm actually not real close, so it's taller than it looks.
It was held inside the large building on the right of pic 3, and when it appeared, it grew out of the pedestal surrounded by water in pic 4. 💫

Hello! Its been a while without sharing UI Edits, this one is a simple one. But I think it would be fantastic! Online Status

When you a see that is online, but you cannot join due to their server being full or is in a place that you cant directly join. Well with just additional UI that can give you more useful information.

A pill shaped indicator that replaces the wedge icon, and tells you the online status of your friend. The indicator will be a dot, that can change color depending on the online status.

Green dot: Available to join
If the dot is green, that means you can join your friend with no problem!

Grey dot: Unable to join
If the dot is gray, it means that your friend is still online, but you cant join right now. This due to many reasons like a full server or doing a challenge (Like the Trials or Eden).

Red dot: Offline
If the dot is red, it means that your friend is not online/offline. If you tap on the status, you can check when was the last time your friend was active/online.

Okay so since I've gotten some bugs posted I will post some interesting details of the spirit companions:

• they honk when you honk. It will be a random honk, from a small beep to a large call. The large call can get butterflies, but it cannot flip crabs
• Spirits are affected by the wind too. They will also try to block the wind out of their faces when walking through places with strong winds
• spirits will look at light creatures, as well as crabs too.

The friendship tree in Live is the confirmed version, the beta one is the not yet reworked format. Spirit trees are still using the Friendship system from Migration, you can bring the spirits along again.
