Mutes have been a thing for as long as I can remember and no, you don't have to be in-game. In fact, if you're in-game you most likely have to restart your game once the mute ends to actually get unmuted

Bug that happens when you have Aviary set as your starting point. Going into any shop/cafe and exiting will make them appear. Aditionally you can change your starting point to Home/Nest or just use the quest statue in Home

Perhaps the friending was registered by the game and you will find this other player in your friend's constellation. Sadly we have no way of knowing for sure until you are able to open your game again.

If your candles do not return by the time the errors are solved, I suggest contacting support. For now, it could very likely be an issue related to the server issues, and they should return to you when the servers are back!

You will see a message pop up saying you reached the limit of the color! it's hard to tell so i suggest collecting a little more dye and seeing if it rises or not
You can also claim dye buckets and if you have max, it should be 4 red, 3 yellow, 1 white

No luck with the chibi mask, either. I was able to find a work around by selecting a color for the accessory, and then switching to look at the mask- which pulled the camera up to the head so I could see it.
I may report this as a bug anyway. Shouldn't be this difficult ;-;

If you didn't finish at full jar, then it won't be full today either, but here's how you can tell if you collected the maximum:

• for each colors you reached the max, the game tells you on a small text popup on the bottom of the screen
• additionally, you see the jars appear when you collect dye, but the jars won't fill anymore

Here's a video recording that proves there's no grey color for jars. You can see on the video that I reached the cap for red dye but didn't for yellow. You might have had a low dye wax level and therefore a semi transparent jar icon, OR checked the jar icon in the emote menu, which indeed changes to semi-transparent, which made you believe it's grey.

you have to log into your steam account on mobile (the moth account you accidentally made) and then link a throwaway email to that account, so you can unlink steam. This can only be done on mobile. Then you can log into your main account on mobile, and add steam there and then start the game on steam

• which realm you're choosing
• do you include seasonal areas of it (trials, starlight desert)
• does that realm have daily candle cake rotations.

These can make hundreds of wax difference

Note: it's not efficient to fully candle run a realm, you can get more wax if you loosely run 1.5 realms during that time but skip small candle bunches

sorryy saw this late but I completed the same quest earlier today(like an hour ago) without actually collecting all the masks. if it helps, I got to a little more than 50% progress alone before time ran out and it auto completed. as long as you dont leave the event area and collect at least one mask it should work!

if you split during a transition scene, walking through instead of flying helps, if its a random split try to avoid prairie in particular due to event stuff being added,,, the other realms should have a lower split rate

For the dyed butterflies you can collect, I’ve noticed that there’s a limit where the dye colors won’t fill up anymore after you collect a certain amount. what I want to know is, is there a limit for each individual color, or is the limit for how much butterflies you collect in general? Like I could hypothetically fill the limit with just red and yellow without ever getting any white, or the white has its own limit that isn’t affected by how much red and yellow I get

Hi, I’m quite new to the game. I noticed that I can’t unlock any hidden purple spirits in any maps. I’ve tried honking, putting candle, etc around the place. I hear from a friend that the indicator is there’s fire on the bottom, but I can’t see anything when they pointed out the place.
