This season, Nesting is on the workshop on the right side of Aviary, same place as Revival.
You should only have to reach Hidden Forest through the realm gates, to Activate the Nesting Workshop for the current season. Hope that helps.

The skin color of your skykids actually changes with what outfit youre wearing, for example the stagehand outfit makes your skids skin appear darker for the sake of color theory. the faceless mask just gets rid of your mask, so if the color doesnt add up with the rest of your skids skintone you should probably either report that as a bug or feedback

They change to the position in the new/merged server then, which is usually the position you took them from. That happens to every animal, like turtle zooming elsewhere at light speed or abyss eel often teleporting when there are no friends in your server

But you'll need to wait more than a year for that

It'll likely return in some capacity as the seasonal furniture is the nesting equivalent of seasonal spirits, meaning after maybe a year or two (or three) theyll return similarly to a ts
