Have you meditated at Golden Wasteland's temple? This unlocks the gate to Vault of Knowledge. You can take the elevator in the middle to ascend upwards, eventually reaching the Summit. When you meditate there, you'll unlock Eden.

It is not possible to collect 28 candles in one day, you can only reach ~21.5
If you really need more, you can buy some in the shop, I think there's a package with 15 candles for 5-8$ (idk the exact price)

Most likely it's an issue with your Google Credentials in that device, you can try the following:
-Go to your Google App and log off make sure you have saved your log-in credentials to avoid account loss, after that close your account also from the next apps: Google Play, Google Play Games. Once you're done with it restart your device completely (Preferably just turn it off and then on) once your phone is on log in again in the Google Play app, this should give your device new credentials, then log into your account in all apps you logged off. After this try logging into sky
-If this didn't help try this: Go to your Google App, click into your profile picture and go to "Manage your Google Account" once you're there a menu with various options should pop-up, go to "Security" and go all the way down until you find "Your connections with apps and third party services" and click in "See all connections" and look up for "Sky: Children of light" if you can see it there, don't move it, but if don't you can try logging in with an different device since the issue is in your Google account, you can also try contacting TGC's support
